CONTENT INFORMATION
  • Introduction - Upon the Topic Within and Alchemical and Sorcerous Experiment Classifications
    • An introduction by the Lady of Secrets addressing the topics that would be discussed within the book. In her scholarly way, she makes sure to present to the reader that all of the following information is based upon her own experiences and experiments, and that there may be a certain level of bias presented. She also includes a statement that although her knowledge in the creation of Sith artifacts is limited, she is familiar with the processes of such, but there are certainly other Sith Lords and Ladies currently in the galaxy that were much more proficient in the art than herself.
    • By no means the end all be all authority on such experiment classifications, Darth Arcanix in her previous capacity of the Triumvir of Power within the Sith Empire had issued a series of guidelines for what Sith could expect to accomplish at their power levels and experience. In this book, she takes the time to outline an updated version of these classifications as they are currently in practice at the Sorzus Academy on Ziost:
      • Class I - Entry Level Alchemy and Sorcery; Acolytes and Beginners at the standard Sith Academy level
        • Minor alterations to physical appearances of species and sentients
        • Theory and basic instruction in the creation of Sith artifacts and forging techniques
      • Class II - Alchemy or Sorcery within the grasp of lower Knights or highly skilled Acolytes, first half of curriculum at Sorzus Academy
        • Intermediate alterations to species or individuals
        • Intermediate-level artifacts, alchemically forged weapons and armor
        • Beginner Mechu-deru
      • Class III - Alchemy or Sorcery within the grasp of most Knights, second half of curriculum at Sorzus Academy
        • Major alterations to species or individuals
        • Lesser Sithspawn creation (i.e. Mutates, lesser creatures)
        • Mechu-deru, excluding creation of Technobeasts
        • Journeymen-level artifacts, alchemically forged weapons and armor
      • Class IV - Alchemy or Sorcery within the grasp of upper Knights or newly anointed Sith Lords and Ladies
        • Necromancy, excluding experiments involving Blackwing virus (refer to Class VIII)
        • Greater Sithspawn creation (i.e. Terentateks, melding of species)
        • Some communing and experimenting with the Netherworld
        • Expert-level artifacts, alchemically forged weapon and armor
        • Creation of new Sith magic spells
        • Creation of new Sith viral-based weapons (i.e. rakghouls, nanogene spores, bioweapons)
      • Class V - Alchemy or sorcery generally undertaken by Masters of Sith Alchemy or Sorcery
        • Master-level Sithspawn creation (i.e. Leviathans and creatures of such complexity)
        • Summoning of Netherworld entities
        • Master-level artifacts, alchemically forged weapons and armor
        • Creation of new Sith rituals
        • Construction of Sith Meditation Spheres and/or their enhancement
      • Class VI - Alchemy or Sorcery that should only be attempted by Advanced Masters of Sith Alchemy or Sorcery
        • Dark Side Birthed Sithspawn (i.e. Monoliths)
        • Altering of Netherworld Entities
        • Advanced Master-level artifacts, weapons, and rituals (i.e. Phobis Device)
      • Class VII - Alchemy or Sorcery that should only be attempted by Grandmasters in Sith Alchemy or Sorcery
        • Creation of City-scale artifacts, weapons, and rituals (i.e. Dark Reaper, Thought Bomb)
        • Titan-class Sithspawn Creation (i.e. Emperor of Serpents on Mandalore)
        • Grandmaster Personal Artifacts (i.e. Gauntlet of Kressh the Younger, the Darkstaff)
      • Class VIII - Alchemy or Sorcery that is highly theoretical and dangerous that even most Grandmasters should approach with caution
        • Asation-level events (i.e. the tearing of the barriers between worlds)
        • Transdimensional Experimentation and Exploration, whether it be physical or ethereal
        • Creation of Planetary-scale artifacts, weapons, and rituals (i.e Sith Superweapons)
        • Blackwing Virus Experiments
  • Section I - Sithspawn Creation
    • Chapter I - The Ancient Rules and Practices, and Those That Came Before
      • The chapter goes into the background of Sith alchemy and the processes pioneered by ancient Sith species and Lords such as Sorzus Syn, Karness Murr, Naga Sadow, Exar Kun, Darth Sidious, Darth Maladi, and so on. Much of it is approached in an academic sense, more so detailing the history of these ancient Sith and the legacy of their experiments.
      • Included in this chapter are some basic instructions and diagrams on creating Sithspawn such as Leviathans, Terentateks, Sith war beasts, and so on.
    • Chapter II - The Modern Works and Advancements
      • Beginning with the reemergence of the galaxy from the Gulag Plague, the chapter begins by addressing some of the modern alchemists that deserve notation as Rave Merrill before moving onto the discussion of some of the experimental techniques Darth Arcanix had created. Much of the chapter is devoted to how she has attempted to both speed up the process of creating new creatures, one that could take even Grandmasters in the arts several days to perform before, and undoing the unspoken taboo some Sith had on improving the ancient creations from those that came before. Darth Arcanix outlines how she has used blood, suffused with the dark side, to create a blood chrysalis around subjects that are to be altered, having found it provides a steady source of energy for working on a subject and exponentially speeding up the process in creating new Sithspawn.
      • Also included are some of her personal treatises and notes on uplifting Sithspawn species to full sentience, and her various attempts to do so without such protocols created by other alchemists that have been hidden. Included in this chapter is a brief discussion of the Project Aura Sithspawn created for her Challenge of the Twelve and a subtle invitation for readers to attempt it.
    • Chapter III - The Death World of Valrar
    • Chapter IV - The Monster World of Amaltanna
      • The chapter details the experiments and ongoing work on the world of Amaltanna, a planet that has become host to various sentient Sithspawn communities.
      • Darth Arcanix discusses at length on the processes used to create the new creatures, such as the Tzihra Satwas, but doesn't provide specific instruction on how to create the monsters found on the planet.
  • Section II - Alchemical Artificing
    • Chapter V - Blood is Always the Key
      • The chapter describes some of the basic theory on Sith alchemy when it comes to the forging of artifacts and weapons such as Sith swords and amulets. Blood, as always, is the key and different bloods used in the creation can increase the potency and power of the artifact. She does mention that some artificers have used other means, much more dangerous and potent, to create their artifacts, but omits instruction on how to perform such things like channeling a portion of ones' soul into their creation.
    • Chapter VI - The Benefits and Costs
      • The chapter goes into some detail about how many Sith artifacts have powerful abilities and effects upon the galaxy, but that such powerful artifacts exact a corresponding price from their users. Whether it be enhanced physical strength and damage resistance in exchange for unending pain, etc., she advises the reader that one must be careful in how they approach a project and be mindful of any potential costs they might have to pay for their creations. She concludes by stating it is in the nature of Sith to try and find a way to eliminate the downsides of their artifacts, but it can be a challenge.
  • Section III - Sith Sorcery
    • Chapter VII - A History of Sorcery and Its Depths
      • Much like the beginning chapter of Section I, the chapter is mainly devoted to the history of Sith sorcery and prominent ancient Sith that practiced these arts.
      • Included in the chapter is instruction on some basic Sith spells such as a Bolt of Hatred or illusions, and while she discusses dark side tendrils as a very advanced spell, Darth Arcanix does not include the instructions on how to create them as she believes it should only be taught by a Master in person.
    • Chapter VIII - Revolution of Magick
    • Chapter IX - Instruction
      • The entire chapter is devoted to instruction in some of the Sith spells and sorceries that have served the Lady of Secrets well in her time as a Sith, including on how to anchor such spells to Sith ritual tattoos. Such spells included are her enhanced light side aura spell, rapid alteration, and the ritual unleashed recently on Ziost to create Monoliths.
  • Section IV - On the Subject of Sith Rituals
    • Chapter X - A Cautious Study of Ancient Rituals
      • This chapter explores some of the ancient Sith rituals in a purely academic way, leaving out instructions on how to perform many of them as they can be highly volatile in the wrong practitioners' hands or even can be weapons used to devastate rivals. Darth Arcanix does encourage the reader to do their own research and search for instruction in these rituals.
    • Chapter XI - Theories and Ideas
      • A final chapter where Darth Arcanix proposes some theories and ideas she has for rituals she might attempt in the future or at least wishes to observe if they would work on not.
  • Conclusion

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

While she had always considered herself a more scholarly and scientific Sith, Darth Arcanix had not shared much of her knowledge and experiences outside of her own power base and to students. The Lorrdian raised Sith, having received several books from Sith contemporaries decided that perhaps it was time for her to put pen to paper as it were and write out some of the work she had performed over the past three decades of study in the arts of Sith Alchemy and Sorcery.

Once the book was finished, she distributed several copies to Sith that she considered allies, contemporaries, and even some Sith that she wanted to create some sort of rapport with. Foregoing the more grisly style of Maliphant in her writings, she opted for a more standard form of binding using high quality flimsiplast, rancor leather, and aurodium filigree instead of flesh and blood.
