OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
• Name: Consumer
• Designation: Sentient (while they are sentient, they are themselves slaves to the dark side and any commands given by a Sith)
• Homeworld: Valrar
• Language: Basic
• Average Lifespan: 100 years
• Estimated Population: Scattered
• Description: The Consumer is a more unique specimen of a Sithspawn created by the Lady of Secrets and her apprentice. Utilizing Shi'ido subjects, the new Consumers can take the form of any sentient being in the galaxy. However, when commanded to by their dark masters, their true form will emerge. Clawed limbs, scaly hide, and an enlarged head form, ready to tear apart and consume the enemies of the Sith.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
• Breathes: Type I and Type II (able to shift lungs as needed to breathe the atmosphere they are in)
• Average height of adults: Varies, true form is 2 meters
• Average length of adults: N/A
• Skin color: Various, true form is a bone white scaly hide
• Hair color: Various, true form has no hair
• Distinctions: Besides being able to shift their shape, the Consumers most notable traits are when they are in their true forms. Clawed limbs, an enlarged head with sharp teeth, and a scaly hide are the most notable physical traits.
• Races: No other races

• Strengths:
1. Due to their origins being with Shi'ido specimens, Consumers have the ability to shapeshift to the forms of other sentient beings to hide among them. Because of the changes done to them, their shapeshift ability is not as refined as a Shi'ido's, requiring a few minutes between each shift and they generally stick to one body type (medium build). Upon shifting their shape, they will seek out the nearest food source to replace the energy they lost in the shift.
2. Through the dark side Eldaah's Master enhanced the natural telepathy leftover from their origins to a sort of mind control, giving the Consumers the ability enslave the will of beings around it. The control can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days to establish, depending on the person being subjected to it. The longer a Consumer remains undetected, the more beings will be enslaved to it. Beings of particularly strong will can fight against the control, such as higher ranking Force Sensitives, but once a being is enslaved, only the light or a null field (ysalamir, void stone, etc.) can free them. (PC enslavement requires permission)
3. Consumers have enhanced strength and speed when in their true forms, about 1.5x stronger than a human.
4. Can breathe different types of atmosphere by shifting their lungs as needed.
5. While they originally began from Shi'ido, the Lady of Secrets and her apprentice created a much more devious and horrifying way for the creatures to reproduce. Instead of traditional methods, Consumers can infect others with their genetic material, through direct ingestion of their flesh or blood. This infection will begin a slow, but steady, cellular conversion of the infected subject into another Consumer. (PC infection requires permission)
• Weaknesses:
1. If subjected to an electric shock, such as an arc caster or Force Lightning for example, the Consumers lose control of their disguise and true form, becoming a helpless blob of limbs and flesh that can be easily disposed of.
2. Beings enslaved to their will can be freed if they are touched by the light side of the Force directly, either through Force Healing, Force Light, etc.
3. Their genetic infection can be countered if caught early enough by bacta or other powerful medicines.
4. While their hide can take a glancing hit from a blaster, it cannot stop anything more than that.
5. Force Light, as with many Sithspawn, can kill the Consumer.
6. If subjected to a ysalamir field or void stone, the Consumers lose control of their slaves and are forced back into their true form while they are in the bubble.
CULTURE
• Diet: Carnivore
• Communication: Basic, and can command their thralls through the dark side and telepathy they have.
• Technology level: Can utilize galactic standard technology
• Religion/Beliefs: While they do not have a religion per se, the Consumers worship their dark masters and are irreversibly loyal to the Sith. Everything they do is to further the Sith Grand Plan.
• General behavior: The Consumers will initially infiltrate a world in a small number, no more than a group of three. Their prime directive is to prepare the world for assimilation by the Sith, and thus they begin their work of enslaving the populous to their will. Slowly at first, usually the beings closest to their lairs, they won't begin infecting others with their genetic material to reproduce until they feel safe to do so. The cycle continues until civil strife, coups, or other types of destabilization of a world can be achieved, leaving it open for conquest by the Sith.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Starting as a curiosity for the Lady of Secrets, the Sithspawn that would become the Consumer had originally been planned to be part of her Z-series creatures. She had abducted several Shi'ido subjects, tricking others into believing one story or another. Once they were on Valrar, the work began of twisting their bodies and minds to be one of the ultimate Sithspawn infiltrators. The Lady of Secrets wanted to preserve their ability to shapeshift and their sentience, but she began forcing them into a prime form.

Clawed limbs, and enlarged head and skin color that hinted at their Shi'ido past, and a scaly hide to protect them against minor damage were what she settled on, diverging from the Z-series creatures. The Lady of Secrets also enhanced their natural telepathy through the dark side, giving them the ability to enslave other beings to their will. Enhanced strength and speed were granted to them as well, but possibly the most horrifying thing the Lady of Secrets did was to their genetic material itself.

Drawing on the lessons learned from working with the rakghoul virus, the Lady of Secrets embedded an infectious trait into the bodies of the Consumer. If a being consumed the genetic material of a Consumer, they themselves would slowly begin turning into a Consumer themselves unless treated by bacta or the Force before it was too late. Once she was finished, the new Consumer strain of Sithspawn was ready for a field test...

I am always impressed by the way you somehow manage to balance out pretty tricky strengths with sizeable weaknesses that are actual hard counters to the Sithspawn.

I will need a few clarifications and then I can stamp this.
1. Is there any limitation to the shape-shifting ability? Weight class? Time delay? Does it take them energy to shift? Do they need a break or two after finishing one shape-shift?
2. The enslaving thing- you mention the Darkside, but you also mention the natural telepathy angle. Does this mean the Consumer can enslave people around them even when the Force ain't around? How long does it take them to do it? How difficult is it to fight against it (mentally), does it have some kind of time limit or is it a thing where once enslaved they remain so until they are released of the Lightside sets them free?
3. For strength 2 and 5 I need the usual disclaimer that if this is used on a PC, they get to decide what happens to them.
4. Already touched on it in 2, but I need you clarify in a separate weakness what ysalamir fields and the sort do to these guys, if anything.

Tag me once you clarify these things!
