This egg sac is home to countless eggs that the Horde Mother can produce every eight seconds and spawn upon will to either attack nearby enemies or defend itself from attack.[/SIZE]

If enemy is able to fight their way to through its spawn, or it senses it is under threat, the Horde Mother will typically run away to a new location and begin birthing more of its spawn to protect itself or attack the enemy. Once it finds a good spot to hunker down at, they typically won’t leave it unless threatened or ordered to by a dark sider.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]HISTORICAL INFORMATION[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]As another part of the Sithspawn project between Eldaah and her Master, the latest creation is something they have dubbed the Horde Mother. Created in a hidden facility on Vendaxa, the goal of the project was to merge some poor Geonosian Queens and acklays to form a Sithspawn that could serve a defensive role.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Using the acklay as the base template, Eldaah helped her Master merge the Geonosian Queen into the creature through the use of alchemy and rather illegal genetic hybridization, more specifically its egg sac and ability to produce eggs every eight seconds. The Horde Mother can birth out several spawn at once, by channeling a rush of alchemized growth hormones and adrenals into the eggs through their thin membrane. The resulting creature, currently only referred to by Eldaah and her Master as a Wasp, is able to protect the Horde Mother and be sent out to fight its battles or collect food for the Horde Mother when it is not absorbing nutrients from the soil or consuming small insects. Unfortunately, due to the process used to graft the egg sac into place, if it is damaged in anyway, the shock will kill the Horde Mother.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]To help prevent its death, chitin armor plating was grown onto the creature through alchemy, providing a tough defense across its front legs and around the sides of the egg sac. However, this armor plating does not cover the belly of the creature so attacks can easily pierce it there. As per usual with Sithspawn, the Horde Mother is also weak to direct applications of the light side of the Force, applications that can easily kill it.[/SIZE]
