  • Description: The Poisoner is an insect-like Sithspawn, scuttling around on its many spindly legs, with an extremely potent and visible stinger.

  • Skin color: Purple and black, red and brown
  • Hair color: No hair
  • Distinctions: The dominant feature of the Poisoner is the stinger it has, which it uses to deliver an extremely potent neurotoxin into a victim. The other prominent features of the Poisoner are its spindly legs, each one having tiny bristles covering it that are coated with a neurotic flesh-eating bacteria, and the small nozzle on its abdomen that it can emit a mist of its neurotoxin into the air with.

  • Strengths:
  1. The Poisoner's most potent weapons are the extremely harmful substances it produces in its body, specifically the enhanced neurotoxin that originated from the original kouhon specimens. Where the original specimens delivered their venom by bite, the Poisoner deliver it from their stinger or as a cloud of mist that it can release from its body. The neurotoxin, if delivered by sting, can kill within moments. If released as a mist, the venom can be breathed in or absorbed through the skin, resulting in an hours long death if not given the antidote.
  2. The Poisoner has a symbiotic relationship with the bacteria on its legs, providing a habitat for the bacteria to breed and grow in exchange for immunity from them and use of them as a weapon to kill prey.
  3. The Poisoner is rather small and stealthy, having an innate sense that allows it to avoid most security systems.
  4. Poisoners are flexible enough to slip through even the smallest gaps in a building (air vents for example), or even gaps in armor
  5. Poisoners are able to adapt and survive in most any environment, barring one.
  6. Poisoner will not intentionally strike any being that has a connection to the dark side of the Force.
  • Weaknesses:
  1. While the neurotoxin is extremely potent, it is also a hazard for friend and foe alike when released as a mist.
  2. Just like with the neurotoxin, the specimen's bacteria can and will harm friend and foe alike if handled improperly.
  3. Poisoners have no armor to speak of, a simple kick can be enough to kill them, let alone any sort of weapon.
  4. Any environment that is cold enough to see your breath is too cold for the Poisoners, and they will die. If there is snow on the ground or in the air, they are already dead.
  5. Force Light or any other application of the light side can kill these creatures immediately, even Force Heal is fatal as it turns the Poisoner's neurotoxin against it.
  6. While they will not intentionally strike a being that has a connection to the dark side, if they are startled too much, they will release their neurotoxin mist and accidentally poison their master.
CULTURE
  • Diet: Omnivore, Poisoners will devour anything they can, friend (if accidentally killed), foe, planet, animal. It doesn't matter to them.
  • Communication: Growls
  • Technology level: No technology level
  • Religion/Beliefs: No religion or belief system
  • General behavior: Poisoners are not the bravest or the most bloodthirsty Sithspawn created. While they have a predatory nature, they will stick to the shadows or other concealed locations, preferring stealth to take down their prey. If attacked or they perceive a threat to their lives, they will release their neurotoxin mist and attempt to flee to a suitably safe location. They are more for use by Sith Assassins or for cleanup operations to eliminate other pockets of resistance in a silent and deadly way.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Out of all the Sithspawn created by Eldaah and her Master, the Poisoner might be the most deadly and stealthy of them all. Having obtained kouhon specimens from the jungle world of Indoumodo, Eldaah and her Master began the task of twisting and warping them to suit their purposes: to create the ideal Sithspawn assassin tool, much like what original kouhon are used for.

The neurotoxin present within the kouhon was enhanced through the dark side, making it even more faster acting, and the delivery method was changed to be from its stinger instead of a bite. The Lady of Secrets also encouraged the growth of what could be a weapon or defense mechanism for the new creature, a small nozzle or valve located on the creature's abdomen that would allow it to released a pressurized mist of its neurotoxin in a cloud.

While her Master worked on that, Eldaah was tasked with culturing flesh-eating bacteria into a symbiotic relationship with the creature. Located on the tiny bristles that cover the Poisoner's legs, the bacteria would act as another weapon or defense for the creature. Beyond that, their original hardiness was retained, allowing it to survive in almost any environment, although cold environments were now even more deadly to the creature.

As a final touch, the creatures had their innate sense of avoiding security systems enhanced through the dark side, and their wills were forever placed in service to their dark masters.
