  • Strengths:
  1. Flight - Due to the powerful wings grown onto the creature, it is able to fly for long periods of time.
  2. Powerful - The creature's muscles were enhanced in its adaptation process, giving it enough strength to even lift an average rancor (about 1,650 kilograms).
  3. A Thing of Horror - The creature's main weapon to deal with prey or enemies is to evoke a paralyzing fear within said prey or enemy, created by the creature's potent aura of Force Fear.
  4. Breath - Besides its potent aura of Force Fear, the other potent weapon the Kakdijs Zûta has at its disposal is the cloud of toxic gas it can exude, much like the gas that could be throughout its homeworld.

  4. Breath - Likewise with its breath, if an opponent has any way to clear the air, even a light breeze, then the attack is utterly useless.
  5. Heart is visible - An oddity from the creation process, the creature's developed a single patch of thin pale skin that is directly over their heart. Any attack that hits that mark will kill the creature immediately.
  6. Light side of the Force - Direct applications of the light side, such as Force Light, will severely injure the creature but not outright kill it unless subjected to multiple strikes of such an application of the Force,

  • Communication: Screeches and shrieks
  • Technology level: No technology level

  • General behavior: The Kakdijs Zûta is was designed to be an apex predator, given its abilities and stature. In that regard, its creation led it to develop a personality along those lines. It does not fear many things, and takes an almost primitive joy in causing fear in the beings it hunts. They are loners, staking territory in the mountains of Carnelion IV and fiercely guarding it against any intrusions by others of its species or anything else for that matter. However, once it is given to and bonded with a Sith Lord or Lady, they will become utterly loyal to their master, consenting to act as mounts or guards for their master's lands.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The Kakdijs Zûta, translated as Disease in High Sith, is one of the more powerful creations Eldaah and her Master have created. Establishing a hidden facility in the mountains of Carnelion IV, Eldaah was charged with bringing her Master some of the local Carnelian dragons for the project. Dangerous at the best of the times, the world of Carnelion IV offered some unique advantages that could be adapted for use in the new project.

Having captured a few specimens, Eldaah once again was ordered to observe and study what her Master was about to do to the captured carnivores. The first step was enlarging and enhancing the creatures, giving them increased strength from their muscles that was necessary for the next step. Eldaah's Master began encouraging the growth of wings, reducing the creatures' scales into raw organic matter that could be changed through the dark side and grafted onto their bodies to form a large pair of wings to give the creature the ability to fly. The reduction of the scales left the creatures with no armor to protect against attacks however, while also leaving their skin a jet black color, with a pale patch of skin directly over its heart, giving a wily opponent an easy spot to attack. The new wings, while able to provide generous amounts of lift and combined with the creatures' increased strength the ability to lift up to 1,650 kilograms, would be useless if damaged in any way and ground the creature until it had the chance to heal its wounds.

At this point, Eldaah's Master began the more insidious parts of the project. Besides enhancing the creatures' fangs and claws, she began the process of giving the creature the ability to project an extremely potent aura of Force Fear to paralyze prey or enemies. While a strong willed being, such as a Jedi Master or other equivalent master of the Force, could resist the fear being projected by the creatures', anything lesser would suffer a pronounced effect. The other major weapon Eldaah's Master crafted for the Kakdijs Zûta was the ability to expel a cloud of toxic gas as a breath attack that would horribly debilitate any being or creature that breathed it in, making them even easier prey to consume. However, the breath attack could easily be countered by a breath mask, a light breeze, or anything else that could protect against such an attack.

Much like the Maelridae, the Kakdijs Zûta are able to be used as mounts or pets for Sith, but unlike that previous creation, they will only answer to the will of a Lord of Lady. If a lesser Sith attempts to bond with a Kakdijs Zûta, they will likely be attacked and consumed. When they are bonded to a Lord or Lady, they become utterly loyal to their master, but much like with the Maelridae, Eldaah's Master slipped in a secret pheromone trigger that would make sure she or her student could not be attacked by their creations. As always, the light side of the Force can be detrimental to the Kakdijs Zûta, with applications like Force Light being able to severely injure the creatures with multiple applications being able to outright kill it.

I agree with Marcus' assessment. These have been very nicely balanced for strengths and weaknesses.

If you could please add a link to the canon dragons in the links section, this will be good to go.
