Nodding to Ki'an and Risen in thanks for their decisions, Adenn made a mental note of who was where. As for Caltin, Adenn simply laughed in response. The man thought he, the walking arsenal and tank, with weapons and explosives to take out an army, would keep him out of trouble. Whatever helped him sleep at night. Returning his focus to the group, Adenn saw Sakadi motion with her hands before a voice appeared in his mind. Immediately a snarl crossed his face as he turned towards her partially, anger and surprise visible. With clenched teeth, Adenn took a deep breath and let the snarl vanish, even as mental fortifications appeared to prevent any brain readings. They weren't the strongest, but given the people who had trained him, they would suffice for someone who wasn't actively digging.

Despite his dislike of people being in his mind, Adenn let it slide. Some jetii were odd, so this one was no different, though he did partially wonder what it was that had made her lose her voice. Shaking the odd thoughts free, Adenn's mind went into battle mode as he heard a jetpack activate, even as Caltin simply disappeared upstairs. Looking out a small window, Adenn spotted Darlyn rising quickly. His mechanical eye then zoomed even closer, spotting the detonators strapped to Darlyn. Grinning at the sight, Adenn was distracted from making any motion of it by Cato returning the slug.

Turning his attention to Cato, a dark smile passed over his face. Sliding his helmet over his head, the jaig eyes flashed in the light before Adenn responded.
"Hopefully your lawyers can fight then, otherwise it'd just be another death to the list."

Barely waiting for a reply, Adenn grabbed grenade belts from a nearby crate. Said crate happened to have his clans symbol emblazoned on it, but it would only open to those he trusted, and currently the ones on blue team. Storing the belts in their respective spots, Adenn spoke one last line to blue team as he made his way to the nearest window. And when he spoke, his voice was full of all the authority and command of a man used to war, dedicated to its craft, and ready for another battle, even a mock one.
"We do this right and we'll make sure they have no chance of beating us. It won't matter what they do, because we'll break them, as we always do." Then he directed his next statement to his vode, a grin under his helmet. "Oya vode, let's show these jetii what true Mandalorians can do."

With that, Adenn was gone, jetpack activated to fly up towards the crane. Yes this was training, but his mindset was that of war, and against Darlyn, that's what would be needed. Regardless, as Adenn landed not too long after Darlyn up on the cranes, Adenn had a massive grin on his face, waiting to see what would happen. His weapons were loose in his hands, but ready to move at a moments notice, even as he all but forgot about the others, about Caltin not too far behind on the crane, about the blue team making ready to move with the plan. He only had eyes for his opponent, his own brother in law. This was going to be fun.

Beltran listened to the others as they outlined their ideas. He nodded in agreement when Kreslin Westwind Kreslin Westwind , building on what Jedi Kuxirra Tano-Bonteri Kuxirra Tano-Bonteri had said, presented his plan. There were definite advantages to splitting up. While Beltran preferred to attack with a larger force, he could see the other point of view as well. This way would provide the quickest sense of the battlefield and with luck, would allow them to hone in on the other team's VIP.

Even as Beltran opened his mouth to voice his agreement, one of the other Mandalorians Darlyn Excron Darlyn Excron just up and jumped out of the room's window, rocketing his way toward the roof. "Well," Beltran said evenly. "That's one approach."

Beltran settled back into silence as Jyoti Nooran Jyoti Nooran spoke up. Her methods lined up well with the Mand'alor's and Beltran sensed that the group was coming to some sort of consensus as far as plans went. "That's a good plan," He told the Echani Jedi. " Cadere Cadere would probably make a good distraction for you on the lower level." Looking to Westwind, Beltran continued. "We can use Master Nooran's idea of setting up a cross fire from differing windows on the bridge. I can take one vantage point with the VIP and we can set up another shooter on the other. Then the remaining members can join Mr. Excron on the roof."

Beltran spared Eliz Krayt Eliz Krayt a look. The kid was a Mando, so Beltran didn't have to waste any time asking if he could shoot. He was ready to get to it, knowing that the longer they talked, the longer the other team had to get in on the choice pieces of real estate.

"Give me a break Jyoti, I know what I'm doing. You ought to know that much!"

Did she ought to know? If she remembered him in the slightest, perhaps. Then again he couldn't recall ever seeing her since the fall of Commenor, what felt like a lifetime ago. Perhaps she really wouldn't know what he'd turned into in all that time. Assuming that was the case, well, this was a perfect opportunity to really show off his progress. Yeah, that was a good way of thinking of it, a an opportunity to show off to everyone while letting loose. Now that brought a smile to his face.

He reached the top of the building, and managed to stick the landing for once. Good, since he was at the edge as he did so. Wouldn't that be embarassing, slipping and falling back down after all that? He chuckled happily to himself at the rediculous thought whilst making his way towards the crane itself. The wind whipped and tore at him, causing the red fabric of his suit's cape to violently billow and flap as he disconnected the jetpack. He wouldn't be needing that anymore, so he tossed it by the crane itself, where the heavy object managed to lodge itself.

Now, slightly limbered up without the heavy pack, he could take note of a few things. One, his brother-in-law making a beeline up towards them. Two, the massive Jedi on the crane itself already. Three, this crane definitely wouldn't survive 64 thermal detonators. All together, that meant this was about to get very interesting, depending on if Caltin tried to join or slip past.

"Adenn and a big boy Jedi, tall and bald. Don't recognize him though. Keep an eye up, this crane doesn't look like it's gonna last the fight."

He spoke soft and quickly over the comlink, before switching to a louder voice as he turned his direction outward, to Caltin and Adenn. With the help of his buy'ce, it wasn't actually all that hard to speak over the wind after all. Might as well do what he did best.

"Well well, two on one? Almost looks like a fair fight! Adenn you scamp you didn't tell me you needed to bring along a little help! Good thing I have power to spare."

Now he was getting started. The Dark surged into him, like the raging rapids of a river, as he prepared for the confrontation. First he let it fill him, then transformed the power into Body, further fortifying his body. Like adrenaline it flowed through him, and even the minor feeling of his armor's weight simply faded from his mind. Then, something newer to him, he started to let fire loose from his fingertips, scorching the ground behind him to create as thick a trail as possible, in an attempt to cut off the Jedi. After all, if he ended the game early, he wouldn't get his full match with Adenn, which simply wouldn't do.

With a trail of fire cutting across the rooftop, swaying under the wind but fed more power from Darlyn to keep it from extinguishing, he used the Force again to jump up to the crane pathway, and drew Samhain. The lightsaber clicked apart easily, forming two seperate, small lightsabers, the songsteel portions glinting in the light of the fire behind him. Igniting the two of them, the sharp, clear ring of the white blade in his left, the violent and angry growl of the purple in his right, he grinned and moved forward, each step carefully placed to keep him from falling.

"Right then, let's get this party started!"

Go in force or stay behind and let the others probe. Eliz didn't like either idea personally. Not because he didn't think the plans were bad. Just, he didn't like having to be protected. He was here to fight and learn. As the youngest, wasn't that his actual job to learn how to fight better? So he could carry the torch forward? Especially if he wanted to be the next Mand'alor. He let out a sigh, glancing to Kreslin first. Of all the ideas, he liked Kreslin's the most.

"I'll follow whatever you guys wanna do, I guess. But I'd like the chance to fight."

That wind that was swaying the trail of fire? It wasn’t natural, it was a result of the Force. Caltin was the source and was not letting up, he was only bringing more and more, swirling it around the flame, around him, and back around. The increased air pressure was bringing more moisture from the ground, the more of a windstorm he made, the more dense the moisture. Soon, the air was ready and rain came, rain and the wind brought a storm. Now it was going to get fun.

This may be “Wargames” but a master of the Dark side? Really? Sure, he was probably a nice guy and all, but… whatever it was just games. He didn’t bother with his backup, Conservator would due as well as the Silver Spear. Taking steps forward, the big guy kept his eyes on the Mandalorian from the other team. The evil intent the guy had was evident and while Caltin was this was a game, he knew that Mandalorians did not hold back.

Snap-hiss

The long handle lightsaber, having been through nearly as many wars and showing its history in the hilt snapped to life. Slowing his walk, letting the Force flow through him like the tempest he had created, Caltin widened his stance, lowering his center of gravity. Mindful of the steps he took, the big guy waited for the Mando to make a move, but he walked. Caltin had a feeling that this game made his compatriot the target, but he just kept walking.

Wait? Is that… are those detonators?

Son of a…

Flowing the Force into his hands, Caltin jabbed the spear into the fuselage of the crane and reached out with both hands to either side. They were going to trash their only way of crossing, they being this guy in front of him. If they were going to pull it on one side, he was going to on the other. Hoping that Adenn would catch his eye movement at their base of the crane, Caltin reached out through the Force at both bases and began to crush them. If they were going down, they all were.
...YOU JUST HAVE TO REACH FOR IT.

Remembering Wildflowers

Risen stopped behind Cato — night take him — and gave the squad a… smile? An awkward half thing. The severe demeanor of the Mandalorians bled off like fog, and quick-talking Cato’s humor likely landed on them the same way it landed on Risen. That is, it didn’t. Sky above, would he be buying rounds tonight? What did people here eat for dinner?

He followed after his charge, shaking silly thoughts loose as he surveyed the terrain from the window of the stairway. Fetid swampland consumed the roots of the buildings and swarmed the ground between them. Yes, it was similar to Dathomir. Less ashen, less sulfuric, but similar.

“You sure you have stealth training?” He eyed Cato up and down. Quiet was not a word that came to mind, except as an imperative. And no way would he get out of this without mucking up that blue-nose coat of his. But he’d figure that out soon.

“We’ll keep moving,” Risen instructed while tracing a route with his finger through the landscape. “Live grass, bare dirt. Look before you step. And mountain help me, if you try and crack wise at every leaf that brushes your leg I will…”

Already conflict was igniting up above. Fire scattered into smoke which hazed over the bridge. Central, dominating. Many upstart tacticians would sacrifice a strategic position for surprise. Defeat quickly disabused them: strength is strength. There would be war on that bridge.

“‘The closer the fire the nearer the flame.’” Risen quoted Beshav’s saying, then raised his eyebrows to Cato. They’d hide by the bridge: with any luck the conflict there would burn bright, and the shadow it cast would conceal Risen and Cato.

Cato glanced back to Risen, witnessing the bizarre contortion of a smile, “What’s happening to your face, dude?”

He let everyone take their leave before sliding over to the window, “Ye of little faith, Risen. I got this.” Of course Cato was well aware that going into a nasty swamp would messy up his signature coat, and he had already begun to slide it off, tossing it to the ground behind him. The tight black undershirt was far more expendable. It was also a good excuse to show off his physique. He’d consider taking off his shirt entirely, but well, then nobody would be able focus, right?

That slight hint of irritation in Risen’s words slipped through, and perhaps as he should have expected, Cato was ready to jump onto it like nobody’s business, “You’ll what? Grumble sternly? You kinda already do that. Mayb-”

The sounds of action above finally caught up to Cato, and they came to a similar conclusion. Game time, then. He slipped over to the turbolift and smacked the button to get them to the first floor, “Wanna be lazy and use the lift? Me too.” The entry slid open soon and Cato stepped in, expecting Risen to follow. The lift carried down to the first level access, and the swamp that lies beyond. Some of the marsh had overgrown into the long-abandoned lobby filling it with an unpleasant musty smell. “A few of our friends were headed down here as well.” Cato reconfirmed before tapping into the team's commlinks.

<Yo, Risen and I are in the first floor lobby. Let us know when those of you in the swamp are in position, and we’ll make our move.>

"Hey! Mindlessly jumping into battle is my thing!" Cas playfully called out, gazing out the window and shaking his fist like a moody old man as he watched Darlyn Excron Darlyn Excron literally leap into battle. Letting out a sigh, he scratched under his chin nonchalantly and rested his other hand on his hip, returning his attention to the group as they continued on with their plan. Although one part of him was listening, the other was staring out the window longingly as he grew increasingly eager to get into the action.

When he heard his name, his eyes darted over to Beltran and his full attention returned - something about distracting their opponents on the lower level. A mischevious toothy grin played on the Kiffar's lips "Cas Tynen, Jedi Knight and master of distractions: reporting for duty." he quipped, saluting to drive it home. Listening to the rest of Beltran's plan, his eyes shifted to the Krayt kid, their VIP, sensing he didn't seem all too pleased about potentially sitting things out. The Jedi Knight wandered over to the young Mandalorian and rested a hand on his shoulder "Don't sweat it, if you're with old Bells over there you'll see plenty of action. Plus! With him watching over you, they won't harm a blonde hair on that small head." Cas assured him, flashing Eliz a playful wink before heading to the window.

Crouching on the windowsill, he turned his back to the rest of the group and threw them a thumbs up complimented by his trademark goofy grin "Alright, I'm gone. One distraction incoming Master Nooran." and with that, he leapt out of the window with a graceful forward somersault and began his descent to the lower levels, igniting his lightsaber on the way. Cas called upon the Living Force and surrounded its energies around him like a bubble, using it to slow the speed of his descent as well as an invisible cushion that would soften his incoming landing. As he lowered near to the bridge connecting the two opposing buildings - he felt something. A presence. Filtering out everything else he felt with the Force, he focused on this particular signature... it didn't take the Jedi Knight long to figure out it was Sakadi Marathi Sinvala Sakadi Marathi Sinvala approaching the bridge.

As bad as he wanted to face off with his former Master, it didn't help the plan his team had formed. So unless the Cosmic Force dragged his tuchus onto the bridge, he wouldn't be dancing with her anytime soon...

Mig looked at the others, smiling a little. The irony of two Vizslas joining him, a Force User, in the swamps didn't escape him. It was good though. Seemed the Mandalorians and Jedi weren't the only ones mending relationships. At least mostly. It was clear Adenn didn't like it too much, which got him a nudge from the Mando who was, technically, his son in law.

"If I had to guess it's just how she speaks, Old Man." Yes, Mig also took full advantage of his family ties to Adenn. "Just relax. Even I can sense your emotions right now." He then looked at Sakadi, nodding a little.

"Ok. But if you have them rush the bridge, give us all a signal so we can help." He than nodded at Kranak's suggestions before looking at the lift. "Let's get going. Hopefully we can beat anyone of the other team down to the swamps.” And with that Mig started to head down.

Once there, he was surprised by the large area. He looked around, using his HUD to scan it. Well, it’s be fun.

He heard another voice before he left the Blue Team HQ. It was a masculine voice and carried a warning for everyone in the team. He assumed the masculine voice belonged to the Master Jetii that started his ascension to the crane.
~”Two things everyone, Rak’Ghouls are not as far away as we think, and the other is that this crane is coming down today, and it won’t be because of age.”~
<Rakghouls… Eh, I’ve faced worse.> he thought to himself. They knew some parts of Taris were infested by them and brought medical equipment accordingly. They had more than enough Rakghoul Serum to deal with a possible infection, considering the incubation period of the virus varied from six hours to forty-eight hours. They would be fine, he imagined.

"Hopefully your lawyers can fight then, otherwise it'd just be another death to the list."
He chuckled at the response from his Ori’ramikad Alor to the VIP. What was he going to do? Sue The Red Hand? The mere thought of it was ridiculous. The Red Hand continued after his response to the VIP.
"We do this right and we'll make sure they have no chance of beating us. It won't matter what they do, because we'll break them, as we always do." Then he directed his next statement to his vode, a grin under his helmet. "Oya vode, let's show these jetii what true Mandalorians can do."

[“Oya!”] he roared as a response to The Red Hand. It was time to get a move on now. He reached for his probe droid on his large pouch to his back right on his War Belt and retrieved it. The probe stood aloft after its repulsors were turned on. He gave the probe droid new commands using his wristlink to reconnaissance the Swamps from a safe distance. He would like the probe to be unseen during its task, so they could have some eyes in the sky. Potentially, he could use the probe to scout the crane and the bridge, as well.

The probe was dispatched after it received its new commands. It flew out of the nearest open window out of the Blue Team HQ and it disappeared out of sight shortly after. He lined himself up with the tall window frame that lacked a pane and broke into a sprint after making sure his gear was secured. He didn’t want to loose anything during his jump down to the Swamp. There wasn’t a huge distance between him and the Swamps, so he did not need to assume a freefall position. His camouflaged Hooded Poncho and Kama rippled, with the threads and strings attached to their netting flowed through the air as he jumped out of the building. He simply assumed a high crouch stance and activated his Rocket Boots to slow down his descent. He rolled forward as his feet made contact with the ground to disperse the kinetic energy and took cover behind an abandoned car. He reached for his Westar-M5 and pulled it over his right shoulder as he brought up his probe droid’s live feed in his HUD. He switched the probe’s vision to thermals as it scanned the swamps. No sight of Red Team members yet.

His helmet commlink came to life as he heard Cato speak.
<Yo, Risen and I are in the first floor lobby. Let us know when those of you in the swamp are in position, and we’ll make our move.>
He nodded his head as he replied. [“Copy that. Standby.”] The building in front of him, covered with vines and roots would give him a good vantage point. It wouldn’t be hard to find a window overlooking the Red Team’s approach path. If he needed to, he could potentially reposition himself on the roof and see if he could get any sight-lines to the crane and the bridge that was between the apartment complex.

He placed his Westar-M5 to his left side as he broke into a sprint to the building in front of him and scaled the building using the strong roots and vines. He climbed to the fourth floor of the building in two minutes and made his entrance from a broken window. Dusty glass shards were scattered across the floor on a rug. There were some couches in the room alongside some furniture. The door leading to the other rooms of the house was partially open. He could pull it open if necessary. This had to be a living room of some sort. But it was devoid of life. Whoever used to live here was no more.

He pulled his Westar-M5 from his left side and assumed a fighting stance as he approached the window overlooking the Red Team’s swamp path. The distance between him and their path was around a hundred or so meters. The wall on the outside of his window and the window frame he positioned himself behind was covered with vines and roots. These would further help him break his silhouette. [“Kranak is in position in the swamps. Holding a vantage point."] He rested his covered Westar-M5 on the window frame, through the vines and roots. That would increase his accuracy further. The recoil would not be much of an issue, since the non-lethal stun rounds they were going to use in the exercise had a way less kick compared to their lethal counterpart. He gently pushed away the vines that prevented the use of his scope and started to scan the Red Team's swamp path. He hadn't spotted any hostiles yet. [“No hostiles yet. Ki’an, Mig, you’re good to proceed.”]

He occasionally checked the live feed of his probe droid on his HUD. It was silently loitering in two hundred meters altitude. There was nothing to report yet, but there was something going on by the crane. Shortly after he positioned himself in the fourth floor of a smaller and abandoned building, he spotted three heat signatures on the crane. His vision was obstructed by more heat shortly, though. <What in Haran is going on up there? Are those flames?>

The heat surrounded the initial three heat signatures he spotted. What looked like flames started to grew in size slowly. It was too bright to look at with thermals now. He switched off his probe’s thermal visions using his wrist-link and continued to gaze at the live feed. The erupting flames around the crane later dissipated, but it somehow created a storm. It started to rain! The Jetiise could bend the nature to their will now? <Jetii Chakaare…> He thought to himself as he shook his head slowly. He had much to learn about the capabilities of the Jetii.

Soon after he witnessed the Master Jetii create a storm, he heard the painful wailing of crushed metal. That didn’t sound good. What was the big Master Jetii trying to do? He wasn’t going to collapse the crane, was he?

Was he?

His feelings on the mind communication were clear, even if he was trying to stop his bias. But Mig speaking up brought a slight smile to his face, allowing him to ignore the past and focus on the present. Clapping Mig on the shoulder, Adenn allowed the emotions to seep out of him. With a glance to Mig that communicated his feelings, the gratefulness and appreciation, along with the new and clear focus on the mission, Adenn released Mig. They knew each other well, and Adenn was glad to have Mig by his side, another rock for Adenn to rely on, and he hoped he was one to Mig.

He had also smiled in response to Kranak, who was quite clearly ready for this wargame. But that was then, and now Adenn was atop the crane with two others, though he suspected Taozi wasn't too far away. Focused on Darlyn as he was, Adenn laughed as his brother in law spoke. The snap-hiss and comments about him did remind Adenn that Caltin was there, but he still focused on Darlyn. Laughing as he replied, Adenn spoke with mirth in his voice, raising his voice to be heard by his ner'vod.
"You and I both know I don't need anyone else to beat you up! Nah, my new friend here's gonna pass right on by while I punch you in the face." Motioning to the detonators that Darlyn had, Adenn's grin widened. "Glad you decided to bring some extra firepower as well, cause you'll need it. Don't worry, I got some of my own to share too. Feel free to use them whenever, and don't hold back. You and I know how boring that gets, so please tell me you're using true weapons, not practice ones."

Clapping as Darlyn started up a fire, Adenn was reminded of Star as the fire grew. With a smile on his face, Adenn pointed behind the fire and towards the general direction of the door.
"I'll take it Taozi's back there, just waiting for us to do something stupid?" After receiving confirmation, Adenn laughed again, shaking his head in amusement. He was taken from his reverie as the crane suddenly groaned. Glancing towards Caltin, Adenn was surprised to see him already trying to break the supports of the crane. "Woah, woah, woah Caltin. We're saving crane destruction for during or after the fight. Not that it'll survive Darlyn and I fighting, but I would like to beat him up first." Motioning to the supports, Adenn tilted his helmeted head slightly. "Mind holding off on doing that for now? You can pass by Darlyn and figure out where their VIP is going, maybe even take out a few of their number."

Turning his attention back to Darlyn, Adenn was reminded of something else as he saw the door behind the fire. He couldn't see Taozi just yet, but he suspected she was somewhere over there. Turning his attention to Caltin, Adenn's voice took a dark turn.
"If you happen to cross by a little lady by the name of Taozi Fuyuan, you leave her alone. Got it? Otherwise you'll have three very POed Mandos hunting you down, Darlyn, Mig, and myself. And I swear by the Manda, we'll put you in the ground if you hurt her. So don't bother attacking her."

Sure Taozi could handle herself, but Adenn didn't want to risk it. Besides, she'd be needed to fix whatever broke on Darlyn and Adenn, and he'd rather she be in a forgiving mood, not a mad one. That way she'd most likely use anesthetics, rather than just go for the operation. Shaking the stray thoughts from his head, Adenn focused on Darlyn, a smile forming once again. His weapons were all hot and ready to fire, so Adenn simply called out to Darlyn.
"Oya ner'vod, let's do this!"

Chuckling, Adenn raised his shield, robot combat arms, and the E'care. Immediately he began firing at Darlyn, sending an endless stream of slugs and blaster bolts streaming towards his brother in law. They'd both be battered and bruised by the end of this, but whoever could walk better by the end would get to add another notch to the friendly feud. And Adenn knew he'd be adding that victory mark.

Upon noticing Kranak looking in his direction, he returned his gaze and gave a small bow of the head in acknowledgement of his younger clansman. He didn't know the other medic well but he was due some training from the elder Mandalorian so that would change soon.

Ki'an watched inquisitively as the Sephi gestured to the group to get their attention whereas it was often the case that the loudest voice would dominate the conversation. It seemed the quiet Jedi had something to say but he hoped it wasn't through the medium of sign language as he was unsure how many of them would understand. However, upon hearing a voice in his mind, he was momentarily taken aback which was conveyed by his body language despite his face being unseen.

Once it seemed all bases were being covered, his gaze followed Sakadi's as she looked at him. "Yeah, of course." He replied to Sakadi in a friendly tone as he removed a stim from his belt and handed it to her. A Jedi with the Force and a stim on their side ought to be a powerful one.

His attention split from the conversation to the Jedi spinning round one of the pillars. Though his expression was concealed, beneath his helmet he had an eyebrow raised and was smiling. Jedi were not particularly known for their frivolity. He had imagined them in a way that made them more disciplined giving they strived for dampening their emotions but this questionable Jedi challenged such a perception.

Mig made the decision to leave so Ki'an snapped back to attention and accompanied his fellow Mandalorian in the lift to the ground floor while Kranak took the more dramatic approach. Once in the doorway to the outside world, Ki'an hesitantly looked around before activating the infrared function of his HUD to see if any members of the Red Team were already lurking about.

Those on the ground would be pretty exposed to fire from those above since everyone above them had the high ground but it seemed Kranak had already thought of that and was minimising their risk. When Kranak gave the signal, Ki'an left the safety of being near the building and headed out into the swamp. After a few steps, he lifted up his feet to look at the mud that coated his boots. "This isn't the most glamourous route." He chuckled to himself before continuing, seeking cover should the Red Team suddenly appear, though he could do little to protect himself from above, that was on Kranak.

He looked up to remain aware of the situation above them and was surprised to see chaos already starting to ensue on the crane. ::Uh... Let's hope that crane has the structural integrity to survive this:: He told the team via comms, a half-warning.

Aro double checked the stun setting on his weapons. Usually he wanted his shots to pack a punch, especially when going up against a bunch of lightsaber wielders, but today was only a game. He didn’t need any accidents happening. Similarly, in an effort to de-danger himself he had also left behind many of the knives he normally kept on his person.

Though he secretly tucked away a few, just in case. Nothing wrong with being prepared.

He honestly didn’t know what to make of this whole war “game” idea. War was nothing to play at. The idea hadn’t been appealing to him at all as mock battles weren’t really his style, but after repeated pressure he had eventually caved and agreed to come. Apparently his friends thought that he needed to “work on his anti-social nature” and “learn how to take things less seriously” - though how either of those ideas applied to this situation was a mystery to him.

Already it seemed like it was going to be a waste of time. It seems he had been expecting too much when he thought that everyone would work as a functioning team. He shook his head as people began to take off left and right. Disrespectfully too, some of them barely paid any attention to the Mand’alor as he spoke which was borderline offensive, not to mention a poor decision. Plans were what kept the most people alive after all. Thankfully, a few of them seemed to possess common sense and stuck around to further discuss the plan before moving. Aro personally agreed with the Mand’alor’s idea, but he also liked the added idea of disguising the VIP. That was quite clever and he gave the one who suggested it an appraising look beneath his helmet.

As ideas were tossed around he kept silent. It was progressing well enough without him so whatever everyone else decided, he would do his best to ensure victory. Though, they probably should start moving. After Cadere Cadere took off, he finally drew some attention to himself and spoke up. “It seems it would be best to go with the Jedi’s plan, as some have already started acting on it. Let’s quickly decide our roles, I’m sure our opponents have already begun to move.”

He had no preference for his own role, because it wouldn’t matter. He could fill in for anything. His normal skillset meant he was well suited to take out the blue VIP, but he also knew how to correct for the weak spots on a team and remain on the defensive. He would go where he was needed because even though this was a game, he had no intention to lose.

Aveline had maintained anonymity so far in this operation. As a mere Jedi Padawan she was outranked by everyone. This was her first encounter with the Mandalorians as well, and they had the look about them of stern warriors one didn’t wish to offend. She was careful not to overstep any lines. Following orders was becoming familiar, not just from the Jedi Masters but the Silver Navy as well, after she had been promoted to lieutenant.

Her precious A-Wing was nowhere to be found here, however. It was dawning on her that she had gone to battle from within the cockpit more times than not. While every other Jedi here, she imagined, would be right in their element, Aveline felt outside her comfort zone.

The young Jedi dressed less conspicuously than normal. She wore the standard tunics and undertunics the Jedi so often wore. The outer layers were of a darker grey, while the rest maintained a lighter tone, also grey. Her brown hair was tied and fashioned into a bun at the back of her head. On her left hip a training saber, and on her right a LPD-11 Heavy Blaster Pistol. Aveline had covered the small blaster with her hand as much as she could, as if embarrassed by it. It was not a Jedi’s weapon, more so that of an officer. It had been a gift after her promotion. Finally, covering her lower arms were the very same Cosaint bracers she had brought with her to Korriban.

Aveline looked at the backs of Cato and Risen as the trio rode down the elevator to the swamps. Both Jedi Knights, she was very much following their lead and trying not to get in the way. Cato reached out to the rest of their team over the comms, and she fought the urge to mutter ‘I have a bad feeling about this’.

In case anyone wants to use it. Sadly I don't have anything neutral or Mando affiliated on hand, and I'm terrible at making them myself :D

Satisfied with the plan, some of her team took their leave only shortly after she had conveyed her thoughts. One raised his concern over her being able to hold the bridge alone, and another told her to signal them should she be overwhelmed. Sakadi did not respond. All she did, was grant them a tight-lipped smile. She would hold that bridge. That, she promised.

So when the time came for team blue to depart, Sakadi swiftly made her way down the stairs to the designated floor. She held the stim Ki'an had given her in her left hand, fingers clutched around the cylinder as she set foot on the bridge. It was quite broad for a passageway between buildings, broad enough to not get thrown off when a Force push threw you from one side to another. As for cover? There were a few empty crates, collapsed support beams and even a structure of metal that reminded her of a forklift in many ways.

Not that any of those obstacles mattered to her. Sakadi's gaze was fixed on the tall building ahead of her. The battle above her had already ensued. She could feel their clash through the Force, for the energy field encompassed all life. Not just the Jedi and Sith.

But what truly drew the attention of the petite Jedi Master, was the presence she felt up ahead of her. It stuck out like a sore thumb. It was one that felt familiar to her, as it belonged to the Kiffar ( Cadere Cadere ) she knew best. Or believed she knew best…

No. She thought. Now was not the time to be consumed by emotions. She had a bridge to take, and now a Kiffar to beat.

As soon as she felt his focus shift through the Force, undoubtedly to slow his descent, Sakadi reached out. She swiftly raised her arm, and the Force would attempt to wrap itself around the Kiffar's ankle. Then, Sakadi jerked her arm back. And naturally, the Force followed.

If not stopped, the mystic energy would pull at the Kiffar like an invisible lasso, forcing him rapidly downward in her direction. She estimated that he would land about three to five meters away from her, ankle first. Perhaps that would be enough to take him out of the fight immediately…

No need to take the express anymore, the two Mandos want to go at it. Whatever, easier for Caltin to get by and so with a leap, the big guy sprinted and jumped over the Red Team assailant. Let the other two fight it out, he would just go by and capture the fla… or VIP or whatever. The other Mando didn’t seem to notice him anymore, that was a good thing and that meant he could reach out through the Force, pull the detonators off of their bandoleers and housings, no sense in wrecking the place prematurely.

Getting to the other side was surprisingly easy, not that he didn’t think that he would get there, but the big guy did not appreciate the threat. Looking back at him, Caltin was going to make a comment, but just saluted facetiously and was on his way, now it was a matter of finding the lift.
...YOU JUST HAVE TO REACH FOR IT.

"For you, Vod? Only the best. The finest thermonuclear devices I can afford! And not be charged with a war crime anyways."

Darlyn was zeroing in on Adenn now, focusing his efforts primarily on him. He could feel the Jedi, despite his size, moving quickly up overhead of him and to the other side. Truthfully, he knew the VIP would be fine. The Mand'alor was down with him still, if his senses and connection to the Force weren't lying in the slightest, and beyond that the kid was a Mando himself. No one Jedi would be able to take everyone on after all. So he could go jump over him, run through the Fire that was now being fed more excitement and growing with the passing seconds. NO wind would be killing those flames a second before he allowed them to.

What wasn't okay was him trying to uncouple 64 thermal detonators. He wasn't an idiot, and he was opening himself up to the Force to fight anyways. Of course he could feel them start to uncouple, and he had to work quickly to keep them attached or he'd be going down now all the same. Since Adenn was being so kind as to shoot him, repeatedly, with all kinds of painful slugs and blaster bolts that liked to slam into his armor, he didn't really have much leeway to figure out a plan.. His 'gam was pure beskar, not the kind of thing to break that easily. Yet enough sustained fire was still something he could absolutely feel, and meant his attention was now split to the uncoupling detonators and the one he wanted to fight.

To try and fix this, Darlyn flung out his white Saber, the bright blade creating a cascade of bright camera-like flashes as it blade rapidly, and consecutively, made contact with the crane's metal, spinning vertically as it was soaring at Adenn directly. The purple saber meanwhile began engaging in the minor, tiny hand motions to deflect the bulk of the blaster bolts themselves both down at the bridge, and back in the general direction of Adenn. Slugs of course were pinging against his armor, or more accurately exploding, which was encouraging him to at least try not to be hit too much as he made an advance.

At the same time, he used the Force in his free hand to catch the detonators, briefly, and with the knowledge on how to set the detonation he was able to rain about a half dozen or so down at the bridge five stories below, armed to detonate at some point near or on it. Another ten or so managed to get flung and caught at various points in the bridge, and two more were armed and flung back at Caltin Vanagor Caltin Vanagor . "You forgot your party favors!" He called back with a merry tone, knowing the explosives were so lazily flung they could be utterly meaningless, other than a bright lightshow for down below.

Now he really could focus, and brought his left, free hand out forward. After deflecting another blaster bolt, and narrowly avoiding a direct hit from one of the explosive slugs, he sent a powerful, violet shaded lighting barrage out towards Adenn Kyramud Adenn Kyramud . If it hit, all the better, it would be like being slammed with a heavy shove as well as the lightning carried Force momentum to it. If not, maybe he could get just a momentary reprieve so as to finish this closing move, sprinting full speed along the crane.

Remembering Wildflowers
Risen looked at Aveline trailing behind. Before, even one padawan under his charge would’ve been overwhelming — but after weeks training brash and irreverent Centin, it felt like familiar terrain.

Centin bleeding at the console. Sith swarming in the dark.

Risen forced down memories of Voss. The boy had proven he could survive, and Risen had proven he couldn’t save everyone by himself. And anyway, this padawan at least seemed to respect the chain of command. Now he’d see how she handled orders.

“We’ll make straight for the bridge,” he said, pointing, “and hide beneath it. You have stealth training?” Force Sense — like all Jedi powers and witch’s spells — made no sense to Risen. The Force wasn’t a tool to be used, it just was. He let it guide his impressions, and his impression of Aveline was a kind of pressure, vague and atmospheric. Like standing waist-high in a river, her presence threatened to bowl you over as it went on its path.

Risen shifted his attention to the bubbling landscape ahead. With breath he drew in Force, glowing dimly, then held it. Ghost-like he stepped forward without sound or presence.

“We move.”

"I'll follow whatever you guys wanna do, I guess. But I'd like the chance to fight." Beltran respected the young Mandalorian, Eliz Krayt Eliz Krayt 's words. For a warrior as young as he, with so much he felt like he had to prove, Beltran would have also felt a little cheated if he'd been required to sit out an exercise like this. But young Krayt was proving that he was mature enough to follow orders even if they clashed with what he wanted.

The Ranger had been about to tell the young man that he would indeed have a chance to fight, albeit from a safe vantage point, when Jedi knight Cadere Cadere spoke up. "Don't sweat it, if you're with old Bells over there you'll see plenty of action. Plus! With him watching over you, they won't harm a blonde hair on that small head."

Beltran raised an eyebrow at the young Jedi Knight, but nodded once more-adding: "He's right. I'll need multiple shooters if we're going to keep the bridge locked up and inaccessible to the enemy. We're going to have to be smart about cover, and you'll have to be very careful, but yes you will get to fight."

Beltran had been about to confirm his suggestions with Master Jyoti Nooran Jyoti Nooran and Mand'alor Kreslin Westwind Kreslin Westwind when Jedi Tynen went off, much in the same fashion that Darlyn Excron Darlyn Excron had moments earlier. Leaving the group with a simple. "Alright, I'm gone. One distraction incoming Master Nooran."

Beltran fought the urge to sigh out loud as the Kiffar left the room, making for the lower levels.

“It seems it would be best to go with the Jedi’s plan, as some have already started acting on it. Let’s quickly decide our roles, I’m sure our opponents have already begun to move.”

Beltran nodded to Aro Vizsla, another of the Mandalorians. "He's right. It seems we're committed now. Come now, Eliz Krayt Eliz Krayt . We'll make for the bridge and find a good vantage to keep it covered. I could use someone to watch our backs as well, perhaps you?" Beltran asked Aro. "That would leave Master Jyoti Nooran Jyoti Nooran to run after Cadere Cadere and the Mand'alor to join Darlyn Excron Darlyn Excron at the crane."

Beltran didn't have much time, so he got himself together and made sure that the young Mandalorian, Krayt, was with him before he started out toward the bridge. If Aro Vizsla joined him, that would make three to hold the central crossing. A good, strong defense in the Ranger's opinion.

"Wait, wasn't the plan to stick toge.. Ther.." Eliz let out a frustrated sigh as another person left the group to rush off on their own. This wasn't a time to get their one on one fixes. This was training. To be ready for war. To work together to complete a mission. The kid was shaking head at this point, a deep frown across his features. Well. If they all wanted to be distractions, he wouldn't let it go to waste. He stepped forward, glancing over the battlefield that they were supposed to go to.

"I'm gonna go invisible. It'd be much easier for me to go unnoticed."

He flicked on the stealth field generator he had, disappearing from sight. He was already getting pretty skilled with it's use. Being as Force Dead as his father certainly helped out against the Jetii, and his fathers lessons only made it better for Eliz to go the stealth route. Grant it, he wouldn't move far from Beltran. At least he wanted to stick together somewhat.

"Let's get up to the bridge then."
