Strengths:
- Heavy hitter: Since this badboy is a charric, he hits harder than most other pistols in its class. The impact of the charric pistol is pretty strong, able to wear down Jedi over several shots according to the Wiki.
- Charric round benefits: Charric rounds cannot be deflected by lightsabers. The combined particle/thermal damage renders ceramic and polymer based armors useless, when Charric rounds come in contact with metal they often produce beautiful sparks.
- Kicks like a mule: This pistol kicks like a mule, its definitely one you'd probably wanna use with both hands. We don't recommend squeezing the trigger rapidly for this reason--but if you want to smack yourself in the face with durasteel, go right ahead we won't stop you.
- Magazine drain: To increase range, the power pack is drained at double the rate of your average charric pistol--which is still smaller than your average blaster. Most power packs for blasters give you 50 shots, most Charric blasters give you 40 shots--this one gives you 15 before reloading. Shoot wisely, my friend.
Charric is an under-represented but very powerful form of weaponry in this galaxy. The technology itself is unique and different from most all others in this wide galaxy and for that, you get some pretty cool stuff. The Mallet Hand Cannon is exactly what you want when your going against the nasty in this galaxy.
The Mallet operates just like most all other Charric pistols with a few exceptions. First, its got a kick like an angry bantha. We don't recommend going dualies on this weapon--or if you do, use one of our other products like the Dragoon or Hussar pistols instead of another Mallet Hand Cannon. Second, the power pack drains pretty fast. And by pretty fast, I mean about 5 times faster than your average blaster pistol, so no John Wayne "I never have to reload" stuff on this weapon. Lastly and in direct correlation to this, the range is longer than your average Charric pistol. Extra energy is drained off to extend the range of this pistol to that of your average blaster, making it even with the competition in that way at a cost of the ammo capacity.
The Mallet comes with a gorgeous stun setting that shoots green lasers instead of the blue beam that the regular Charric round produces, just in case you want to take your combatant alive rather than like Swiss cheese with holes all in them.
All in all its just a Charric pistol with extra range.
