Born just moments before her brother Brandyn, and several minutes before her younger sister Blaire, Briana came into the galaxy like a tempest, earmarked by the matriarch of their family, who'd had no children of her own, as the successor of the Ee'everwest Estate with all of the prestige and accouterments that came with it.
From the outset, her future seemed predetermined.
Raised in the lap of luxury on the family's ancestral grounds of Naboo, Briana grew under the watchful eyes of several bodyguards and caretakers, with clear parameters that distinguished her life. A life Briana was mostly content to live, despite willful tendencies and a forthright spirit that wanted to buck against said parameters at every opportunity, often finding ways to covertly push the boundaries of what was allowed — traits that were further nurtured by various mentors at the prestigious schools she attended, sharpening a quick and astute mind that never failed to excel or impress academically.
Yet, it was Briana's innate affinity for the Force that truly marked her as exceptional.
This connection manifested itself early on, initially through small acts of disobedience and various outbursts during her childhood, causing a great deal of concern for her Jedi mother, who worked tirelessly to channel her daughter's assertive nature into the disciplined ethos of the Jedi. Something that often caused a great deal of conflict between mother and daughter.
Over time, the potency of Briana's gift attracted the attention of several Force Masters, who saw in her a prodigious talent and envisaged a distinguished future within the Jedi Order—a prospect that was deterred by her father who stood in stark opposition to any form of force training for his children, quashing any and all visions of a life within the Order before they could ever take root in his children.
This came much to the vexation of Briana's younger brother Brandyn, who dreamed of becoming a great 'Jedi Hero' — a dream that the pragmatic Briana often dismissed and mocked as being childish, with her own eyes set on a future in politics, determined to follow in the footsteps of not only her father, but grandparents as well.
However, despite her fathers many attempts at running interference against the Force and her own lack of enthusiasm for such a path, destiny found a way when her brother finally acted upon his lofty dreams and ran away to join the Jedi Order. Briana, who always assumed a world of responsibility, chased after her brother with the intent to bring him home, but ultimately found herself following him along the same course and all the way to the Ossus Enclave — motivated by love, loyalty, and a desire to see her brother happy.
In less than a month after their arrival, Briana and Brandyn were swiftly chosen as the Padawan learners of
Valery Noble
, with Briana being additionally mentored by the Jedi Master,
Romi Jade
. Both of whom inspired and molded Briana, helping her reach greater heights than she ever thought possible.
With Valery and Romi as her guides, Briana embarked on a perilous journey of self-discovery and spiritual awakening, one that would ultimately lead her to become a Jedi Knight as she navigated the treacherous waters of a galaxy in turmoil.
