SPECIAL FEATURES
- Beyond being able to enhance a student's connection to the Force, affording them a heightened concentration and focus, the Echo Stone has the ability to grow with and amplify the connection between a Jedi and the Force. When a Jedi holds the stone, it enhances their ability to sense and manipulate the Force. The stone also has a unique ability to "echo" the intentions of the Jedi who holds it. This means that the stone can amplify the intentions and actions of the Jedi, making them more effective in battle or other situations where the use of the Force is required, but it is dependent on how much the wearer has bonded to its crystal.

- "Echos" the intentions of the Jedi who holds it; the stone can amplify the intentions and actions of the Jedi, making them more effective in battle or other situations where the use of the Force is required:
- Bonds and grows with the strength of the wearer, and reflects the users personal relationship with the Force. Provides a boost to their connection that is suitable to their rank and strength in the Force. I.e Telekinesis becomes slightly stronger, or Force lightning gains an extra spark or two.
WEAKNESSES
- Over-reliance on the talisman can lead to a weakened willpower in the absence of it. The talisman should be seen as a training tool to help the wearer develop their own willpower, rather than a crutch to lean on.
- The talisman is vulnerable to external forces that disrupt its connection to the Force. For example, the crystal used grows into their alignment based on their master. As corruption usually extends to the darkside, these crystals will suffer all the same. if the wearer is exposed to dark energy or negative emotions, the talisman may lose its effectiveness until the wearer can restore their connection to the Light Side of the Force. As such, it is important for the wearer to remain mindful of their surroundings and emotions while wearing the talisman.
- The Echo Stone's amplification ability will only last for a limited time before needing to be recharged or reset. This means that a Jedi must use the stone wisely and strategically, or risk losing its benefits in the midst of a critical battle or training exercise.
DESCRIPTION
The Echo Stone is a small stone that fits comfortably in the palm of the hand. It is made of a smooth, polished material that is cool to the touch. The stone is a deep, soapy, white color with small, intricate patterns etched into its surface, but can take a different color much later once it's bonded to its owner. Its patterns seem to glow faintly in the presence of the Force, making the stone seem almost alive. The Bronzium metal lacing is kept simple and polished, and is wired to a simple necklace that has a connector where its to be joined together.
The talisman is given from Jedi Master Romi Jade to participating students at The Eadu Practicum training retreat. It is a small, smooth, and polished stone that has been imbued with the power of the Force, and is a powerful tool for any Jedi in training. The idea was that it would help students to develop their skills and abilities in the Force, and aid them in their journey towards becoming powerful and skilled Jedi -- with the stone growing with them as they build their connection overtime.
Romi had been expanding on her knowledge with the Force, theorizing, and thinking of various ways to properly encounter things that may come her way. Training several students between the Jakku Jedi Enclave and the Ossus Jedi Praxeum, and dealing with the Brotherhood of the Maw's Heathen Priest, and powerful Sith like Carnifex, Solipsis and Taeli, it was on her mind to create some sort of object useful to students along their way to aid them in their training.
It wasn't until recently that she decided to document and record her personal history and experiences. Having been Headmaster of two academies, and a bunch of near-death experiences made her want to author some sort of tome and record data for her Holocron one day. Largely these notes explore various abilities she's learned or creatives ways in which she's decided to use them.
