Hapolafey System
Metal Lords Delight Station
Metal Lords Bad Company

The station buzzed with energy as droids kept going about their day, going through with orders that requires multiple outposts and sites around the Hapolafey System. Various shipyards dot the space around the Delight, with almost every droid being none the wiser to the events that already had unfolded. Behind closed doors, a council consisting of aged Pit Droids circled a large table with various strange weapons and gear. One of them was going through a data terminal as it was doing a form of reprogramming as one talked through a speech analyzer.

"Gentle Droids of Gents and Ladies, as of twenty-four hours ago, the last of the Metal Lords of the Void, Haon Hafey, has perished. The death is confirmed and now is the time to reorganize the council. I know half of you are in holographic form but this union of new Metal Lords shall be commenced this way to divide the system. We shall keep business going as usual and allow only those of droid nature or those with previous allegiance through the system. We shall-"

There was a spark from the data terminal as it sent new programming data for the droids to obey their respective Bad Company Pit Droid...but it went wrong. Various droids getting the upgrades started to spasm and shake violently. The programming was flawed, it made many droids start to become paranoid and have their own desire for territory, for conquering. Rather quickly within the hour, the Hapolafey System was in complete chaos. Various Distress calls from the system echo from the Human and Givin Residents that dotted across the system, spelling of droid revolution and destruction reaching all across the system. They have all raced to retrieve all pieces of technology to wage war, prizes litter from planet to planet, some the smallest of weapons to mammoth battle cruisers. Droids buried away since ancient times awakened to fight for their warlords, knowing they are fighting their own kind.

It has been Three Days since the death of Haon Hafey.
The Technological Rush has Begun

OOC: This thread is created in response to the character death of Haon Hafey. There was no planned successor that could reach the factories in time, hence the chaos that ensured. This is a prize thread for those that wish to jump in and attempt to grab technology that is locked behind doors that generally would not be let out without permission.

Below are the prizes, for those that want things, they must enter and fight for them against NPCs, either from me or those around them. Unique Items will only be of one and can be fought by other players. Anyone that retrieves a SINGLE piece of technology, has permission to create and distribute it among whoever they want as their characters either retrieve the schematics or reverse engineer it. If you wish to have your Major Faction have a massive Seismic Bomb other than the Elysium Empire, go nuts. Want a shiny Battle Cruiser series to be used for a new upcoming faction, it is right here.

Welcome to the Technological Rush, Vultures of Prized Metal!

Nethil always made a point out of staying current on the obituaries of her competition.

Death lead to chaos, and chaos lead to desperate sellers who looking for a clean transaction. Nethil, ever the venture-capitalist, knew to exploit such a chance for everything it was worth. This was not just a question of net gain either, but a question of staying on top of living competition. The death of Haon was an opportunity she was certain others would pounce upon as well; whomever seized Heon's old assets could reverse engineer it, improve it, and potentially skip past years of research and development.

What some considered a calamity, she and the other vultures would consider a feast.

Despite this sudden preparedness, Nan'eth'illa send an army of henchmen to do her bidding, nor did she decide to head up a brigade of armed guards. Instead, she decided she would come more or less alone. In an old Avata-class infiltrator, she and a handful of others set course for the Metal Lords Delight station.

The ship slipped out of hyperspace and into the safe cover of its cloaking systems.

The cybernetic assassins and her small crew gathered to see with their own eyes what chaos had occurred. While the station itself was seemingly whole, they could sense a discontent on board. The uprising of droids was not unique, and the galaxy at large had known that they should be contained at any cost.

"Take us in quietly. Make sure you are space-worthy, we go in through an emergency hatch." She then turned to the pilot, a short-haired mirialan woman. "Make some distance once we're in. We will press-" Barlan took over, knowing well what to do "-The emergency signal on the binary beacon to schedule pick-up. And if we need a fleet, I will de-cloak and send for Her." "I know. You have got this."

Nethil nodded and let her shoulders sink down with a deep exhale.

"Let's go."

The cloaked ship sailed in toward the station and locked itself to the hull with utmost stealth. The small crew dropped out and magnetised themselves to the hull.

The station itself was in intact shape, just like it was on approach. The company of Have Gun Will Travel generally did not produce technology to detect cloaked entities in its area. Very few had the ability to do so, though those that exist, were in other sections of the system. The shipyard itself seemed to still be in working order once they had landed, undetected during the confusion of those inside.

Among the outside, littered dozens of smaller starships that ranged from corvettes to frigates. Though the larger ones, across the largest arm, only contained two. Among them was an almost ruined but slowly being reconstructed Utriusque Restituo-class Factory Command Battlecruiser, Haons own flagship vessel for many years. It was considered lost during the attack against the Galactic Alliance, though it seems to been retrieved and being rebuilt from the ground up. The skeleton and most of its armaments seem to be in its place though the armor plating was negligible currently.

The other side of the large pillar, laid a dormant Screamer Fast Assault Battle Cruiser. Only three were ever made and were designed to be some of the fastest Battle Cruisers on the market. Given first to the Alliance, their purpose was never fully shown for many years. Decommissioned after little combat, they were scattered out faculties for guarding or transporting high value goods. This one here, seemed to be under some form of maintenance, named "Blitzwing" on the side.

When the magnetic boots were activated, it shimmered the metal below their feet and caused part of the station to cloak where they stood, a small meter in diameter footprint. The station itself, was made out of an impressive and rare mineral known as Phkalt Metal. It had been showcased quite often in recent years, under the partnership of Haon Hafey and Marlon Sularen Marlon Sularen whom had legal mining rights to obtain. Elyisum Empire starships even started to use this kind of metal, having found their own deposit to mine in the galaxy. Between this system and their world, the mineral was considered extremely rare to obtain.

It was considered blaster proof, one could shoot a composite beam laser at it and it barely make a dent. The metal was mallable, easy to shape but can easily be bent also. It corroded quickly in atmosphere so it was recommended to be used only in space, where its uses shine. It also had the unique effect to "Shimmer" the environment. On a magnetic pull, it shimmers and creates a cloaking effect to those around them. An incredibly useful metal where one does not need any form of electronics, just simply magnets. The only known issue with the metal was that kinetic force was enough to destroy it, meaning ballistic weaponry can do some serious damage if not watched.

Among the station was multiple hatches to enter through, all across the station. Nearby, a shuttlecraft approached but did not notice the group as it went to deliver more materials to supply their unique war effort. The station was still in operation it seems...but how much of it can work with each other?

Nethil took a moment to marvel at the effect of their magnets upon the phkalt plating. She could imagine many ways to use such a metal if she could find it. She had seen it used, certainly, but one never got to know a metal as well as when one worked with it oneself. Novelty fades fast though, and the small group climbed their way further up to one of the many hatches. They did their best to stay out of immediate visual from the two large ships docked to station's hull, using the many ridges and protrusions to conceal themselves.

For Nethil, it was like a game. Her adoptive Csen'ai had taught her how to move quietly, how to not be seen, all in the shape of games. The body rarely forgets these things, even when parts are replaced with machinery.

She clocked the shuttle that sailed past and it in her memory bank; clearly, while their master was dead, there was some sort of strange activity. Shuttles going in and out could mean some sort of transaction. It also meant the station was less deserted than they had initially hoped, and that their quiet approach was warranted.

Nethil opened the hatch and let the others climb in first, then closed it behind her as she followed.

One by one, the four of them dropped down into the inside of the station like droplets. They flattened themselves against the walls and looked around for any signs of life or movement, while Nethil herself looked for some sort of data access point. The first thing they would need was an overview of the station, its condition, layout, and hopefully its assets.

Through the fine art of mechu deru, knowledge of machines and systems, Nethil reached out and sensed with the force where the wires ran and where they coalesced. That was where she would find her access point.

The Mech-Deru would give out several access points throughout the station, mainly through the use of Wi-Fi connectivity. It would not be hard to break through, considering a majority of security measures had already fallen across the station. Detailed layouts would be given rather quickly with tourist maps being the fastest way to find them with points of interest scattered across. More detailed maps behind security measures, only took a few seconds as it flooded in with detailed production lines and locations across the station.

Haon Hafeys office was a noted point of interest instantly, known by his name and the title "Design Room" which was located towards the center ring of the station. A secondary point of interest or interests was the number of armories all around the station that were considered production area rooms for Psuedosonic Weaponry and Seismic Developmental Weaponry with some odd key notes being "Cluster" and "Bomb" room being respective. Other areas included production of starfighters, being given their own hangerbays as there were dotted across multiple rings along with completion timeframes, most showing several examples of each being ready for sale.

The current occupants apparently are under a Metal Lord known as "Theory", as stated with a small message noting that the station stands at a war stance against all others. A listed number of Glory-II Class Dark Troopers also stood on standby, ranging at least five dozen at disposal across the station with hundreds of non-combative labor droids being listed in their respective production area. The strange Metal Lords area was posted to being under "Recently Returned", being the shuttlecraft that came in.

FINAL DAWN
HAPOLAFEY, UNKNOWN REGIONS

The Death of Haon Hafey had sent shockwaves across the Galaxy. In the immediate aftermath, distress signals began pouring out of the Hapolafey System with word of a droid revolution and the general chaos and disorder that had erupted in the wake of Haon Hafey's absence. Naturally of-course many groups of interests might take advantage of the situation, moving in to claim the vast technologies left behind by Haon Hafey for their own nefarious or benevolent ambitions and the Final Dawn was one of those groups. It's leader, High Regent Marlon Sularen had retained close ties with Haon Hafey himself having maintained a partnership with Hafey since the aftermath of the Battle of Adrathorpe. To Sularen, Hafey represented a unique case of a person whom Sularen was once enemies with, who would eventually come around and reconciliate with Sularen being the first and only person to do such a thing so far.

As such when news of Hafey's death and the massive chaotic powergrab for his technology that followed, the High Regent of the Final Dawn would set course for the Hapolafey System at the head of a large and powerful force comprised of his own personal fleet and the Hand of Judgement, assisted by capable Naval Commanders and hired Mercenaries. As a close partner of Haon Hafey, Sularen came to the conclusion that only he and not anyone else was worthy enough to wield his technology and assets and as such the High Regent sought to ensure that every asset and piece of technology across this system would end up in the hands of the fall of the Final Dawn while depriving any other group of interest of the ability to access said assets and technology as well as the ability to escape the system with them.

Thus Sularen's Flagship, the
FDS Predator emerged from hyperspace followed by the rest of the Final Dawn Naval Battlegroup that had set course for Hapolafey which included Sularen's Personal Fleet, Task Force Vader and additional smaller task forces for a total of approximately three dozen warships none of which were smaller then a Cruiser. Sitting on a Command Chair from the Bridge of the Predator, Sularen watched as his Battlegroup arrived at the Hapolafey System and began to approach the Metal Lords Delight, determined to secure all those assets and technology for himself. "Get me in touch with Captain Piett and Vice-Admiral Remex" Sularen said to the Captain of the Predator. "It is vital that we lock down the system as soon as possible and prevent anyone from escaping with the technology here. Once that is done contact Captain and give him the signal to begin deploying his Task Force across the Station and to secure any significant P.O.I. The Assets and Technology Hafey left behind will make a fine addition to the growing arsenal of the Final Dawn and will play a key part in the downfall of the Alliance as he would have intended."

Aran looked from the Bridge of of his command ship, the rest of the five ships in his task force were shortly behind him in hyperspace. Aran ended up joining up with some other fellow liked minded people who were a lot like the Empire he parents and grandparents only told stories of. It did take him awhile to find his former XO Commander Halsey, however the rest of his crew were not answering his calls, though Halsey was the one he needed the most. The rest of the ships were crewed by people who were all new to him however he would take the time eventually to meet them all. His ship lurched out of Hyperspace into the system, quickly followed by the rest of his task force. He looked at a screen next to him and keyed in the orders to send to the task force.

"Halsey get un into position and spread the task force out to maximize coverage for the blockade."

"Aye Captain." Halsey replied.

Aran keys in a transmission to the command ship.

"Sir Task Force 114 is in position."

Hard times have fallen upon Kulthis Manufacturing as of late. The factories were running cold in the aftermath of the Sith Empire falling. Even before then, Kulthis Manufacturing had fallen from grace. Nothing new had hit the market from the engineering company in many years. Was it from lack of innovation? The saturation of the markets from competitors? Pure laziness? No one knew for sure.

What was known was an opportunity had arisen, and Kulthis would not let it pass up.

A lone unmarked transport ship rested upon the surface of a moon littered with the bodies of fallen droids. From the belly of the ship, the Kulthis Manufacturing CEO's personal assistant, L4R4, emerged and was there to secure what it could for the future of Kulthis Manufacturing. L4R4 was flanked by two guards. Security personnel hired by the company for purposes such as this.

"A lot of cold metal here. Search for what can be scavenged and bring it to my ship. Don't touch any of the droids. Anything could set them oor something off. Who knows what these Metal Lames have equipped their toys with."

All the ship's systems were off at the time, thus rendering the moon as dead as it was when they arrived. L4R4 could not afford any interruptions.

Tag: Darth Athora Darth Athora

The moon had a rather dark reputation for those among the Hapolafey system, it was an area for execution. Not for organics, no it was a place of exile and death for those of sentient droids. Whether it be a fast death from blowing the head off or the slow, painful drain of watching someones battery run dry, it exists in a strange inbetween of life and death. The Dark Side has a small bit of pull where it was, it could be felt the closer one got towards any of the massacre sites. What could have caused such a strange string of events? Even more so, it seemed more have been dumped more recently, scores more of them with flags sticking out of them of various Metal Lord insignas, new ones no one had ever seen before.

For many of those dumped here, they were left with what devices they came with, many came with their old weapons, some having been dumped as prototypes that were not allowed to exist, their AI deemed to excessive to continue in existence for the threat they posed to the Galaxy. Along walking the moon, laid beneath the feet of the Personal Assistant an abundance of Phkalt Metal, one of the major finds that propelled Have Gun Will Travels right into combat. Reflective to nearly all forms of blasters, magnetically can shimmer and blend into any environment, it is considered one of the rarest minerals currently in the Galaxy, found only in two places. Hapolafey System and a singular planet in the Elysium Empire. Other deposits have yet to be found, but with a sample, one could attempt to find it amongst their network of planets or even synthesize through technological means their own type of Phkalt Metal. The only issue is how much it weighs, a handful weighs over ten pounds.

Among the piles upon piles of droid bodies, lay common weaponry that was strewn across all their bodies. Most were combat droids not created by Have Gun Will Travel, but droids that were brought to a safe haven, only to find themselves in the middle of a Droid Civil War. Among the bodies seen, laid near the bottom of the pile, laid a pair of items. One of them was a sealed canister of Weaponized Breaching Oxidizer Foam though seemed a bit different from other modules, having the instructions inside to create more of it.

The second, was a weapon rarely seen but given a reputation in the last year. The Big Disruptor Cannon or as some tried to refer to it, the Big Damn Cannon. The firepower on it was considered rivaled to some thermal detonators, having been showcased shooting down starfighters in the atmosphere in a bit of showmanship. It has been used to destroy tanks, heavy infantry and on one occasion so far, a Force User out of existence. This model seems rather intact and has the ammunition inside it, along with a few power cells on the destroyed droids body.

The last one of note, from afar seemed to be a starfighter. It has a TIE look to it, solar panels on the side but it seemed to shimmer in and out of view, as if reacting to the environment as a whole. If one got any closer, they could tell from the model or with some ship designation software, this was a TIE/UD Starfighter. An extremely maneuverable starfighter, able to move its wings to twist and turn at unbelievable speeds, made with the same Phkalt Metal that laid in the ground. It is considered an elite starfighter, some of whom is actively used still in the Elysium Military for its unique properties. This one however, does not seem to functional, all the maneuvering ports seemed to be jammed up with dust but still displayed some form of power when approached.

In one of the warhead launcher tubes outside, sticking out and armed, was a Seismic Missile. The first of its kind, spawning a few copycats along the way, it was still the definitive weapon against capital ships. Having been on record destroying multiple starfighters, corvettes and at one time, a Star Destroyer in a single missile, it was one of Haon Hafeys earliest achievements and perhaps still his most important. While it seemed armed, mechanisms existed underneath to safely push out the missile if required with the cockpit inside being locked out currently unless overridden.

The appearance of the massive taskforce would not go unnoticed to the occupants of the system. Almost all at once, a wave of communications would hit, declaring sovernty, their existence and those that would threaten to end their lives. Each one of them, claimed to be a Metal Lord of the Void, a newly designated regal of royalty in the dark times. A total once counted from each transmission, of twenty-seven, scattered from asteroid fields, planets, moons and even stations. This was indeed, not only a political nightmare, but a warlords nightmare.

Before any thought could be given out afterwards, the whine of hyperdrive interceptions would go off quickly. Out of hyperspace came five PCL-27Cs, an aged Q-Carrier that most had no clue about as from a distance, they looked like a civilian vessel...but Marlon Sularen knew of them from just one brief encounter with them years ago. They hold an extensive array of starfighters, they were made to ambush the moment they got close enough to the warships, effectively crippling them quickly in early combat.

However, they were still at a distance away and only just started to approach the starships, not responding to any hails. Given the old design, it was possible to disable them and raid their contents before they even launched. But it has to be done quickly, before they release their payload of starfighters.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tag: Aran Piett Aran Piett

Just like Marlon, a flood of communications came in declaring sovernity, Metal Lord royalty and various other things all at once. The area they were in seemed to be slightly different from Marlons, over one of the large planets that seem to have constant electrical storms. From space, it seemed to be one of beauty, something that could be painted time and time again. On sensors, it would read that it was Phkalt Metal...but different atomization. Whatever variant of metal exists down there, apparently it is to dangerous to currently get it at the time, least for Have Gun Will Travel.

Hyperdrive signatures would be detected within a few minutes, indicating there was enemy forces incoming. Quickly, two Baleen II-class Missile Frigates appeared on sensors. With the doors opening, multiple missile lock on signatures would be detected, they were targeting individual warships for prepared assault. These were upgrades of the previous Baleen models, a pair of whom destroyed a Star Destroyer of Marlon Sularens many years ago and is considered extremely dangerous from afar. Out from the hanger doors, large massive bulkheads screamed out TIE/PN Starfighters, patrol starfighters designed to protect and patrol surrounding areas.

The missiles would take time to lock on to, perhaps there was a chance to stop them before they reached position? Sensors would also indicate something rather dangerous aboard the newer models. Seismic Missiles, a whole lot of them. One was a pain to deal with, a grouping of ten was a nightmare...a grouping of a hundred spells disaster to anything in front of it. These were mini torpedo spheres and they had enough firepower to wipe out a battle cruiser if they wanted. If these were to be taken out, it had to be done fast or think of a clever way to take care of them quickly.

"Captain we are being target locked!" Commander Halsey yelled out to Aran

"Raise shields target their weapon systems."

"Aye sir."

The orders were sent to the rest of the task force but Aran awaited for confirmation from fleet command to fire. Still holding the defensive positions not taking any aggressive actions till ordered to.

"Sir we are being targeted by two frigates possible missle frigates, awaiting orders."

Aran sent out the message to fleet command. Not powering up his weapons yet but his shields are up to hold their defensive posture.

The six Supremacy Class Star Destroyers that were under Remex's control exited hyperspace, and along with the other Final Dawn forces, approached the station.

The goal was simple, secure assets of the late Haon Hafey, and stop others from retrieving them. A mission that Stryka looked forward to.

Orders then came in from the High Regent, to secure the base and allow none to escape. Stryka immediately conveyed the orders to his subordinates, as the unit that Stryka commanded began to fan out and take to one of the stations flanks. He then noticed that two craft from the station began to approach other Final Dawn Forces.

Stryka barked order to his officers, to ready themselves to long range assaults from the enemy and to hold on tight, as Stryka turned surveyed the encounter before him.

The pirate watched out of the viewport as the station slowly came into view.

Unfortunately, it looked like the captain and his crew were a little late to the party. Massive cruisers sat near the station, almost as if they were protecting it. The death of Mr. Hafey was saddening, but this technology was now rightfully anyone's to steal. No one person should have control over it...unless their name is Captain Tae. Then of course, let the spoils go to the victor. And the man had no intentions of losing today.

"R8-D5, what is the current status of our cloaking device?"

After a few seconds, the astromech let out an assuring chirp, letting the man know that it was running smoothly. He took a gamble with this experimental cloaking device, but if it works properly, then whoever remains on that station what know what hit them. When they do end up finding out, the crew of the Blue Pearl will have their pockets full and will already be on their way back to the base.

Pulling up the nearby datapad, the pirate looked at the inventory list one final time. They were a few basic starfighters he wanted to acquire, such as the TIE/SK, some larger vessels, like both the Baleen I and Baleen II, alongside the Flatwell. But one ship sat highest on the list, marked with number one priority. This ship could help expand the Exchange's territory behind it's current region of space. Not only was it incredibly hard to damage, but it could haul an entire fleet's worth of starfighters as well. This ship was the Utriusque Restituo Battlecarrier.

“Begin our final approach, and prepare the harpoons. Try to stay as quiet as possible out there.”

Slowly and quietly, the pirate ship continued on its way towards the station. The vessels itself was clearly outnumbered and outgunned in this situation, so their best course of action was stealth.

Once they were within 25 meters of the station, the pirate pitched the ship to its Starboard side, swinging the whole thing around. Once the Port side was in positioned, the crew fired the harpoons at the station, their magnetic clamps sticking onto its side.

Once locked on, the captain walked down from his quarters to speak with his crew.

“Alright gentlemen, suit up. This is one of the bigger scores we have had in a while, so let’s not make any mistakes. We get in, grab what we need, and get out, understood?”

Various confirmations and head nods were given out to the Captain Tae. Seconds later his men scurried off, preparing the boarding party.

Let’s hope there are no further complications to this mission.

FINAL DAWN
HAPOLAFEY, UNKNOWN REGIONS

TASK FORCE VADER
Fleet Compliment

"Sir, Captain Piett and Vice-Admiral Remex have checked in and their respective Task Forces are moving into position alongside the main fleet." Colonel Rackham said informing the High Regent of the latest developments. "Good, we are now in a position to set up the Blockade. Have the Interdictors activate their Gravity Well Projectors and for the Monitor Frigates to carry out a scan of the area. I want to have a list of every naval asset located here." Sularen ordered. However as soon as the High Regent issued these orders, the Predator was bombarded with a wave of communications which immediately caught the attention of Rackham. "Sir, we are receiving a bunch of traffic on the comms." He began. "What do you mean, Rackham?" Sularen said in response. "It's coming from all across the system, various individuals claiming to be a Metal Lord and declaring Sovereignty..." However before Sularen could respond, the alarms of the Predator began to ring before an officer quickly shouted out. "My Lord. Were detecting enemy ships emerging from hyperspace"

Sularen quickly checked the console attached to his Command Chair and upon the holographic map displayed on the console, five ships emerged from hyperspace. At a first glance, they seemed to be civilian vessels. Perhaps other individuals seeking to claim Hafey's technology and assets as their own, however after taking a closer look, Sularen recognized those ships, they were PCL-27C Q-Carriers which while lacking any offensive armament were very fast and had a large compliment of 8 Starfighter Squadrons allowing it to get up close to enemy warships unleash it's compliment and get away before any significant response can be launched. At the same time he noticed a pair of Baleen-II Missile Frigates which appeared on the flanks of the Final Dawn Fleet to attack Captain Piett's Force. Those Missile Frigates were capable of dealing extensive damage to Star Destroyers although with the technological improvements made by the Final Dawn, their latest ships would be able to withstand punishment from such deadly vessels.

However both the ships of Piett and Remex were of older design, lacking the three-layer shielding system and sophisticated defensive systems that were prevalent in most of the ships in Sularen's Primary Task Force. This was done on purpose, as Sularen sought test the abilities of his subordinates on the battlefield and how they would handle such a situation. Nevertheless as long as those Q-Carriers were at distance from Sularen's Fleet he could easily deal with them. Once his mental analysis of the situation was complete, Sularen rushed forth to resolve the situation and deal with these threats as soon as possible. "Keep the Interdictors and Monitor Frigates at the Rear of the Formation far from the enemy contacts and have the rest of the Fleet target those Q-Carriers with all their Ion Weaponry, the sooner we disable those Ships the better. We must not allow a single ship to harm our blockade." Sularen ordered to the Predator's bridge crew. As soon as he finished speaking, his crew began relaying and carrying out the order, with the main Force of Task Force Vader unleashing a barrage of Heavy Ion Canon fire upon the five Q-Carriers in the hopes of disabling them immediatly before they had a chance at attacking his forces.

The High-Regent then proceeded to contact Captain Piett issuing new orders to his subordinate. "You may engage those Missile Frigates, but caution is advised as they are extremely dangerous at close-range but have limited mobility and a major weakspot in the form of the hangars which if targeted could potentially cripple the warship.". Sularen then proceeded to contact Vice-Admiral Remex issuing him another set of orders. "Maintain your distance from enemy forces and protect the Interdictors and Monitor Frigates, they are key to maintaining the Blockade, in the case of the arrival of more hostile, await further orders before moving in to engage"

  • Sularen is notified of the arrivals of Captain Piett and Vice-Admiral Remex before being made aware of the chaotic situation of the Hapolafey System
  • Task Force Vader begins engaging the hostile forces of rogue Metal Lords with the following actions :
    • The Hux-Class Interdictors and Invector-Class Monitor Frigates are kept at the rear of the Formation
    • The FDS Predator along with FDS Resurgence, the Pellaeon-IVs and Pryde-Classes proceed to unleash their ion weaponry upon the Five Q-Carriers with the hopes of rapidly disabling them before they can attack Task Force Vader
  • Sularen proceeds to relay specific orders to both Captain Piett and Vice-Admiral Remex as the Battle between the Final Dawn and the Rogue Metal Lords begin

The secrets of the stations were opening up to her in layers. From apparent tourist maps to utility maps, she copied the information into her own cranial drive for later use and overlaid the extrapolated map to her cybernetic eye. She was trying to slice into the droids internal communication when one of her three compatriots, Zann, spoke up.

"Nethil" "We have company. Ships have landed in the system, quite a lot of them too."

Nethil did not turn around, but kept her cybernetic hand's data-spike in the port to keep the process going. Static was already tuning into her ear, passing over to rhythmic points of audible data; something was being repeated over and over again by countless voices.

"How much time?" Nethil asked through gritted teeth. "Not enough. These are Maw codes. Care to guess?". "Feth." Rath "We have to move." Reyn nodded in agreement.

Nethil pulled her spike from the port frustratedly.

"I have a direction, but I couldn't source the guard pattern. We will just have to be careful. Let's go." "There is something strange going on with this place."

From the death of Haley to this new "Theory" metal lord, to the droids on patrol, yet the eerie quiet of the station. Alarms were practically blaring to Nethil that something was wrong. Now, she needed to know. While she wanted to siphon as many blueprints and patents as she could, she also needed to know what was going on.

The foursome formed up in a diamond pattern. Nethil took point, using her mechu deru to guide the others ahead and scout for droids. Zann and Rath brought up the middle, clearing hallways with their blasters, while Reyn kept their rear clear. Nethil aimed for the Design Room, assuming that would be where she would be able to find the most information and the easiest contraband to smuggle out. Potentially, it was also a location from where she could create havoc for those others who attempted to seize these holdings.

Time was not on her side, it was getting slowly worse by the second. The loud whine of the alarm would be going off when the war cruisers got into the system, droids frantically moving to their stations with some being rather comical, arms in the air, running to various rooms. Moving much faster, finally got the attention of the security droids, the Glory-II Dark Troopers. They were extremely difficult to take down with blaster fire, ballistic fire erupting from their rifles as they took positions in an attempt to charge their position. However, given how quickly they moved, it was rather difficult to keep following and keep their assault up. One would go down after a rather sudden blaster bolt hit the dome of the droid and made a screeching modem sound before collapsing.

The Design Room was not as far as one would have previously guessed, being along the way but had a large shutter door that was down and required authorization codes to enter. Breaking it would not be to difficult, in fact it would almost be childs play to enter the room. Behind the door however, was something that could only be described as a mad mans workshop. Hundreds of displaced blueprints littered the room, various ones being labeled "Junk" or "Failure" being shoved into various trash recepitcles. However, there was three on display blueprints, illuminated on the wall. On mere glances, they were extremely complicated, every section, ever small empty dot was used to a severe degree, Haon Hafey planned these out personally. Each one was labeled with an acronym with a personal data terminal nearby, allowing the withdrawal of the data blueprints.

The first one was merely labeled as C.S.M., appearing to be some form of mixture design, contained in a missile like projectile. There were various parts to this, showing off points where it would break apart but it apparently was some form of munition, for what, it would require much closer examination.

The second one was labeled as D.M.D.T., this one was not appearing to be as complicated but had multiple strike outs and was labeled as V 0.7. It seems to be some form of electronic device, to what function it was unknown though it had a massive test log of various programs, sensors and other jammers with a checkmark list. Whatever it was made for, it was designed to go around these said programs.

The third one was labeled as P.M.O., this one was not as difficult to understand but was more strange. Haon Hafey was not a form of bio-chemist though there was many formulas based on it, most notably referencing to Exogorths that lived in the second asteroid belt. The design seemed rather similar to those of his starship hulls but on a premise of some form of armor.

When attempting to withdraw from the terminal, there was a self restriction of taking blueprints without thought process identification node from Haon Hafey. Meaning that droids could not take more than one at a time and thus, only Nan'eth'illa could take only one. Mecha'Deru may have a possibility of exploiting it to allow them all to come out but would take time, as that thought process would have to be replicated from Haons own mental processes to the exact letter.

Aside from those, there were laid out blueprints that were apparently things he wished to improve on a different date, placed directly on the table for anyone to make, having the exact outlines of the project and current use listed. The two, one being the M.R.S.W. MK. II was an orbital firing vehicle, a rather dangerous iteration that had not seen much use. The second with the Cross Cryo Projector with a few notations on turning down the cooling to capture targets, an iteration on Carbonite Freezing. This apparently was not finished, noting the time table had been moved though the list for the schematics on making a Cross Cryo Projector was still here.

A dashing pirate coming to take what could be rightfully theres? It was a bold move to come in such a small corvette but the bold became favored at this moment. Outside the viewports could be seen, the station going on combat alert as they scrambled to defend the station from boarding actions. As the hanger bay doors were opening to let loose shuttlecraft in an effort to escape, came the harpoons with their magnetic pull. It perhaps, did way more than expected, far more.

When the harpoons hit, they struck into the Phkalt Metal as if they were butter...but it then activated the magnetic pull. Rather suddenly, along with parts of the corvette they were on, it started to shimmer out of view. An entire arm section they had just latched onto, vanished with it. The magnets, activated the Phkalt Metals special properties and made the station partially invisible! While rather humorous on a glance, the hanger bay itself was just floating out in space opened up, defying all logic from afar that the station itself was fine still!

On the station itself was numerous hatches to slip in and out of, allowing for multiple entry paths. None of them were truly guarded, no camera feeds as most would have be insane to fly this close to the station and attempt to dock into it. Little did they know though, one set of people beat them by a mere fifteen minutes beforehand and were further in the facility than they would be on entry.

In the nearby hanger bay was a whine of shuttlecraft taking off, some of which were leaving behind Glory-II Dark Troopers to fight and defend the station. Inside the hanger bay was the production line of, by stroke of genius or luck, the TIE/SK Elite Starfighters. Over two dozen were sitting unmanned in the station, as no combat pilots were allowed to take off in them along with many munition supplies, most notably several shipments of Seismic Missiles. A few hallways away from the hangerbay would be where the Utriusque Restituo would be currently docked at, in functional condition to pilot but armor was below nominal. The controls to unlock the docking clamps were under lockdown orders and have to be overridden, either at the console or at the bridge.

Entering the system from hyperspace, they would register different signals than others on approach towards the station. While others were dealing with Missile Frigates and a rather large problematic deployment of starfighters, he was about to deal with something possibly worse.

Below the station was a grouping of twenty Class-J Cargo Containers...but these were not ordinary containers, from a distance they were. No, they were the Class-J Trap Containers, another nasty surprise for anyone deciding to get to close to his station without authorization. Rather quickly, all twenty immobile containers started to open fire turbolasers directly onto Remexs fleet in an attempt to cripple it quickly, all while deploying over two hundred TIE/VA-II Starfighters that would rather quickly attempt to flood their space between the station and the fleet. If this was caught quickly, the focused fire could take down many of the starfighters before they were able to be launched, else they had a large swarm of locusts to deal with in terms of starfighters for a while.

All while this was going on, he would be the only captain to get a signature reading from the station. Screamer Fast Assault Battle Cruiser, a massive battle cruiser considered some of the fastest in the galaxy, was powering on. If it becomes fully operational, it may turn this battle into an extensive slog for the rest of the fleet if not warned in time. Lights started to turn on in it and the engines were starting to get warmed up though the shield generators were not activated just yet.

Marlon Sularen Marlon Sularen

This was beyond the best course of action. Early models of Have Gun Will Travel were not yet installed with the Ion Shield feature, making it rather easy to disable the cruisers as they were on their approach. One after the other, they would be disabled but not after realizing they had been figured out so quickly! Two of the PCL-27Cs had the timing to let out their compliments before being disabled, letting out over a hundred TIE/RT Starfighters.

These were Elysium Empire models, more of Haon Hafeys more recent escapades in technological terror. These were equipped with numerous missile hardpoints and has the newer famed SLAM MK. II model that made speed look like a childs toy. Which they did, turning on the SLAM MK. II as they rocketed forward with the speed of the best interceptors in the galaxy straight towards the FDS Defiance in an effort to cripple one quickly. They were armed with Proton Rockets and were not deviating from course.

However, while all this happened, there was a boon to consider. All of the carrier cruisers were disabled and if the assumption was lead to be correct, all of them held TIE/RT Starfighters, meaning Marlon Sularen just nabbed twenty-four squadrons of dangerous anti-capital starfighters. The only question is he could survive the assaults that were incoming and if they can recover them quickly in time.

The answer of aiming for the weapon systems would prove most advantageous. The missile systems that were constructed into it were also the extreme in notable weak points on the Baleen models. A simple strike at the right missile could cause a chain reaction that could destroy the entire missile frigate in one go. The TIE/PN Starfighters seem to be staying close to their frigate grouping, not allowing starfighters to get in to close, perhaps there was another weakness? Before the thought could process further, two hundred Seismic Missiles would launch from the Baleen missile frigates.

Rather quickly, they shot up and started to aim towards the closest warship of Pietts fleet. While they were powerful, they were thankfully easy to destroy if dealt with quickly. The only issue was on destruction, while they exploded with a third of the regular yield of a seismic charge, it was still a mixture of collapsium and baradium. A shockwave would erupt and could spontaneously encapture other starfighters or other missiles, making a minefield like chain reaction that could devastate a small section of space if not careful.

As the missiles approach, the only question would be what would Piett do in response?

Stryka listened to more orders as they came in. He was to protect the interdictors and the other essential ships in the fleet. He kept his fleet in a close enough position to the other ships to give cover.

The battle before him presented no real threats to his unit directly, in other places the forces of the Final Dawn were under attack. This make Stryka suspicious, however he had no reason to feel threatened by the containers that simply sat their, presumably full of cargo of different sorts.

He was giving more orders to his helmsman when the ship he was aboard moved about violently.
Sir, we are under heavy fire from somewhere... it's the containers near the station.

Stryka looked out of the viewport as a swarm of Fighters came straight at his unit. He then pointed to his helmsman, as well as his subordinate officers, Deploy Fighters to defend the fleet! Turn all primary cannons to attack to containers! Use secondary and defense for those Fighters, and begin screening with leftover craft to defend the Star Destroyers!

Stryka watched as the viewport was filled with light from the onslaught of laser fire from his ships. His mission was to protect the fleet, and he was not going to fail this day.

As the pirate was doing a final check over his equipment, he couldn't help but do a double take at what he saw outside of the viewport.

Somehow the magnetic harpoons that were fired from The Blue Pearl activated some sort of emergency cloaking system on the space station. It was fascinating to see this property being produced. He would make that some samples of the hull were extracted so that his men might be able to replicate the technology. For now though, the Captain offered a light chuckle at the matter. It was a feeble attempt to stop them. But they would loot every last ounce of machinery that they could from this place. Then afterwords they would burn it to the ground.

"Captain, it looks like some starfighters are being deployed from the station to attack the opposing fleet. We might not get a better window than this to raid."

The pirate acknowledged his quartermaster before turning towards the rest of his crew. All of them were loaded up with various weaponry, all suited to take out whatever was on that station.

"Our primary objective is to capture the vessel know as the Utriusque Restituo. It is docked somewhere on this station. Once that is in our possession, I will have the quartermaster launch with the ship, taking it to the rendezvous point with a squad. The rest of you will stay behind with me, where we will load up as much as we can onto the Pearl. After that, we are going to blow this place to smithereens. We will feast on our fortunes once we return to Corva Yag."

With the plan in place, the boarding of the station soon began. Accessing one of the maintenance points located on the station's hull, the boarding party entered in with their blasters drawn. The group spanned out, clearing the first hallway of any threats. Yet once inside, the only sign of the station being attacked was the alarms blaring in the background. That, and the droids that laid sprawled out on the floor.

"Captain, something isn't right. These were shot before we boarded."

Reaching his right hand down, the Captain place it on one of the many blaster holes decorating the droid. Closing his eyes, the man focused on the hole. Using psychometry, he was able to find out how this droid went down. And the answer was not one he was pleased about.

"There are others on this ship seeking to reap from its treasures. Four, to be exact. They passed through here not long ago. We must find them and eliminate them before they cause us any trou..."

Before the Captain could finish his sentence, a volley of blasterfire was shot at his crew. Quickly igniting his golden lightsaber, the pirate deflected back a few of the bolts. Down the hallway from them were a group of large droids advancing on their position. They would need to be dealt with before they could continue their raid. This was causing them too much of a time waster, enough so that the other group might make it to the Utriusque Restituo before them.

He would not allow this to happen.

Willow and Ivy had heard the call. The Angels reached out to them, wanting to be rescued instead of being used as tools or for target practice.

And they couldn't ignore it.

Within the atrium on Damascus Station, the twins finished their meditation and got to their feet. Daro Roz’yrn Daro Roz’yrn was sure to be nearby as he was getting accustomed to his armour. Most especially given that bounty hunters had attempted to capture them here before.

But they couldn't see him. So they approached one of the flock that kept the atrium beautiful. "Excuse us, but could we borrow you for a moment?"

The worker was caught by surprise and nearly dropped the rake she was using. "Yes of course, Prophets. How can I be of service?"

"Find Daro. Tell him that there's a mission for him and the Arch Angels. There are some Angels that need our help and should be brought back here. Have him go to the hangers. We'll inform the Grand Shepherd."

The worker bowed her head, placed her rake against the trunk of a tree and hurried off. Willow and Ivy hurried over to their chambers, or what some would call their Temple. It was nestled in the Atrium, made of stone and beskar. Their battle dogs Chopper and Chappie stood sentry on either side of the entrance. The twins activated the touch pad to let them in and then made their way to their holo-communicator to signal Grand Shepherd Burtch Grand Shepherd Burtch and fill him in.

Elysium Empire Narrative

Disaster! Haon Hafey, strong ally of The Imperium and hero of The Spindle System has perished! Following his death, the company Have Gun Will Travel is without ownership. Already pirates, crime lords, and nations across the galaxy have scrambled to secure the assets of The Last Metal Lord.

Among the various factions scrambling for The Dead Metal Lord's assets is The Imperium. Haon Hafey was The Imperium's largest supplier of military resources, including the immeasurably valuable, and Phkalt Metal used in a top secret, experimental SSD, as well as significant amounts of standard weaponry such as The E-71 Carbine, and The Whistling Bith Shotgun! The loss of such designs and weaponry would be a massive blow to The Imperium.

Therefore King Rex Valhoun has dispatched Grand Admiral Keatoch, and Admiral Aculia Voland Aculia Voland as well as several ground teams to secure as many assets as possible, with Keatoch specifically being ordered to secure the Metallum Fast Assault Battlecruiser. Additionally The Grand Fleet has been split to secure multiple shipyards just outside of Imperium territory. Meanwhile The King himself is leading a small detachment of Stormtroopers and Lion Knights to secure the Imperium's most valuable weapon: The Seismic Bomb, produced and stored in H.G.W.T.s main facility.

Divider12.png
However The Imperium isn't the only nation in The South concerned with Haon's death, and his companies' collapse. The peculiar followers of Navis Sacra within the Nomadic People's Coalition, enjoying their newfound independence, have felt the call of the 'angels' within Haon's facility and rush to answer before it is too late!

Location: Main entrance to the station

He had spent the past three days staring at a holoscreen, watching his country and legacy fall apart. The Dobsons needed to be found, and executed. Only then would this storm pass. However the news of Haon Hafey's death had lit the fire under him. It wasn't the good kind of fire. He wasn't acting out of passion, but rather he was responding to the emergency Haon's death had caused. Haon's company, Have Gun Will Travel, was vital to The Imperial Military. Without an heir his company was up for grabs, and if the wrong people got their hands on it, The Imperium would be put in a very bad situation, just like it had been when Dar'Manda Industries, formerly MandalArms, was bombed.

Rex had dispatched his best to secure several factories and bits of technology, but he decided that the most precious item in Haon's station needed to be secured by him personally. The Seismic Bomb, of which only a handful had been produced, were stored here. Haon had made it clear that he would hold the weapon, and The Imperium would need his permission to utilize it. But now the weapon was susceptible to being stolen by anyone with the guts and skill to retrieve it, and that was a problem.

So here he was, boarding Metal Lords Delight Station. With him were four of the best members of The Order of The Lion, and five Stormtroopers. It would be enough. Lion Knights are equal to Jedi, if not better, and the stormtroopers were the best shots in the south.

"Alright. We need to find a security terminal and download the schematics if we're going to find the bomb. Let's go."
