Security Rating: Medium
While there are very few shipyards owned by Have Gun Will Travel currently, there is a small fleet owned by them for security purposes. The real security is however not in with the fleet but rogue asteroids and the dual nebulas interference with common electronics. Scanning is a real problem in the system and pinpointing locations of where hostiles are located can be a major problem without the use of dedicated sensor craft or satellites. They must also accommodate with rogue asteroids as they are still moving around the system inside gravitational pulls from all the fractured planets and moons, causing travel for those not used to the system, a very problematic and dangerous situation. Some asteroids are considered nearly invisible due to the Phkalt metal, making them extremely dangerous to those with the naked eye. Those that go through the second asteroid field will encounter Exogorths as they range in the dozens, making travel extremely dangerous to any personal not aware of the asteroid fields danger.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Location of this system was considered hidden before a supernova occurred in deep space. During Haon Hafeys relocation of his companies starships and exploring the unknown regions, they had discovered a star system had recently had a supernova event occurred. Arriving several days later, it was discovered to be a dual nebula system, in effect, it had two suns that had separate super novas. All the planets, moons and asteroids were either in fractured pieces or completely obliterated. Sensors in the system would go haywire without calibration and is considered an extremely dangerous star system to explore. After losing two capital starships to near invisible asteroids, Haon Hafey settled near one of the fractured moons and established a small station in its gravity well, far away from any existing rogue asteroids that could soon pass. It was decided when settling to name it after Haon Hafeys personal family, combining the first name with their last name.
After several years of mapping out known rogue asteroids along with their projected routes, it became much safer to explore and only recently was the metal, known as Phkalt was discovered and explained the occurrences of the asteroids near invisible nature. Since then, it has been slowly mined out of the current fractured moon nearby and any asteroids that get caught in the tractor beam pull near the shipyard stations. No archeological discoveries have occurred as it is no the primary focus of Have Gun Will Travels doctrine, only creating profit. Only strange occurrence was in the second asteroid belt is infested with Exogorths and all attempts to exterminate them have resulted in failure due to the asteroids properties of Phkalt protecting them. It has been considered off limits to all space travel.
