- Can hold the trigger to charge up for a few more seconds to extend the range to maximum before firing, letting go early goes to Average at minimum.
- Whatever is in Front, Will Not Be: The BDC is designed for one purpose, to destroy whatever target is in front of it into the molecular level. If there is an armored vehicle in front, it is either destroyed or very badly damaged. If a individual is in front, it possibly no longer is left save for the shoes. This is an extremely dangerous disruptor and not to be taken lightly. Firing even at starfighters and gunships, it has the potential to damage or outright take down anything or aerial potential.
- Big, Intimidating, Horrifying: The noise it projects sounds close to a shriek like echo, combine it with being light and easily brought up to aim at anyone in their crosshairs, it is a horrifying weapon to be staring down the barrel of.
- You Got One Shot: It requires a reload on every shot so if someone misses, there is a rather large complaint later to be made if the person is still alive.
- Highly Illegal: The idea of using a disruptor on the battlefield is considered inhumane, making its use a considered war crime. If taken on other worlds, other governments will attempt to confisicate this cannon.
The Big Disruptor Cannon, known more affectionally as the BDC was created on a whim from a test using a beam cannon. When asked if it could be condensed, it was done so but with an added twist from the technicians wanting to prank their boss, by changing out the output into a disruptor cannon. When Haon Hafey test fired it as a prototype for the Brotherhood of the Maw while aiming at an old Armored Terrain walker. Firing it at the leg to demonstrate long term damage, it was fully charged before firing and blew a hole right through the walker and brought it down with dust flying everywhere. While Haon was going to chew out his team, the Brotherhood of the Maw loved the idea of something this powerful available for the every day trooper so it was designed and sent off towards their military.
