WEAKNESSES

DESCRIPTION
With the re-establishment of the Final Dawn and its rapid expansion across the territories of the now-defunct Imperial Confederation, it became quickly apparent that significant investments into the Final Dawn's military would have to be made to simultaneously consolidate its new gains and challenge the various rivals that would seek to undermine it. While it had inherited large portions of the vast military assets of the now-defunct Imperial Confederation, the Final Dawn had also inherited the Confederation's lack of standardization, putting it at a great disadvantage, especially if it were to pursue conflict against its many rivals.

As such, under the direction of Supreme Commander Marlon Sularen, a vast standardization program was launched with SularenCo moving forth to begin the development of new military products aimed at replacing the far more inefficient ones once utilized by the Imperial Confederation while also setting the standards for the standardization program, especially given the Final Dawn's active collaboration with other corporations such as Vandemarian Techwrights and the N&Z Umbrella Corporation.

One of the products of this program was the TIE/DI Disruptor, a modernized Interceptor fighter modelled after the classic TIE Interceptor utilized by the First Galactic Empire centuries ago. By combining speed, maneuverability and firepower, the TIE/DI would be the Final Dawn's ultimate counter to equally agile and powerful elite starfighters and interceptors fielded by hostile factions like the Wild Space Rebellion, providing its Naval Forces with a powerful asset guaranteed to secure starfighter supremacy in crucial naval confrontations, ensuring that the Final Dawn's rise to power will remain uncontested.

One of the products of this program was the TIE/AN Annihilator, a powerful Bomber modelled after the classic TIE Bombers utilized by the First Galactic Empire centuries ago. Despite its sluggish nature, lacking any speed or maneuverability, the strong hull and shielding of the TIE/AH paired with its heavy firepower, have ensured that it remains a formidable foe on the battlefield, with a few squadrons alone being capable of incapacitating entire Capital Ships with their ordnance and acting as the difference-maker between victory and defeat for entire Imperial fleets and facilitating the Final Dawn's ultimate rise to power.

DESCRIPTION
When the Imperial Confederation collapsed, Supreme Commander Marlon Sularen ordered all the Imperial Armed Forces to retreat and reconsolidate at a trio of fortified strongholds in preparation for the eventual reorganization, revitalization and resurgence of the Imperial Confederation. However, with the sudden collapse of the Confederation and the withdrawal of its military forces from worlds it once controlled, it was inevitable that rivals and opportunists would take advantage of the chaotic situation in Imperial space.

Already before the collapse of the Confederation, the pro-Imperial shipwright known as SularenCo had begun a major shipbuilding project, intending to develop a pair of surveillance warships designed to monitor the borders of the Confederation as part of a larger initiative to protect the Confederation against Rebel strikes. Unfortunately, the Confederation collapsed before the project could bear fruit. Still, fortunately, the development of the project remained unhindered as it was coincidentally taking place within one of the designated Imperial strongholds on Cholganna.

Shortly after the Confederation collapsed, the project was accelerated, with one of the envisioned surveillance ships taking the form of the Oculus-Class Monitor Frigate, modelled after FedCo's Invector-Class Monitor Frigate, which saw widespread use by the Final Dawn during the Second Great Hyperspace Wars. Equipped with the similar features to the Invector-Class, the Oculus-Class has included many improvements over its predecessor, including a more effective communications suite and more space for the launch of probe droids from which it can perform its duties to a greater extent than the Invector-Class.

With the Oculus-Class, the Imperial Confederation and its successor will no longer suffer from the same surprise attacks it suffered at the hands of its many rivals across its short lifespan. Through the Oculus-Class, the Imperial Navy will remain one step ahead of its enemies, ensuring that no matter how vast space might be, there won't be many places to hide from the vigilant eyes of the Confederation, especially when they intend to land the first blow against it.
