STRENGTHS
  • Heavy Armament | The Ascendant Mark-II is equipped with a heavy amount of Weaponry with a single Ascendant Mark-II having enough firepower to challenge an individual Star Destroyer, although this does not guarantee a victory in a 1v1 duel between an Ascendant Mark-II and a larger enemy Star Destroyer.
  • Versatile Defensive System | In addition to it's heavy armament , the Ascendant Mark-II is equipped with a Strong and Versatile Defensive System allowing it to defend itself from attacks from enemy starfighter squadrons and larger enemy warships
  • Durability | The Ascendant Mark-II is capable of taking heavy punishment from larger vessels for extended periods of time (Same goes for overwhelming Starfighter Swarms) as it's Hull is comprised of numerous durable materials such as Laminanium allowing the Ship to last longer even if the Shields have been lost.
  • Capable Patrol/Support Ship | The Ascendant Mark-II can serve as an effective Patrol and Support Ship holding a sufficient amount of firepower and defenses to fend off hit-and-run attacks and secure vital supply routes.
  • Considerable Starfighter Compliment | The Ascendant Mark-II only holds a large amount of Starfighter Squadrons for a ship of it's size which makes it ideal for launching hit-and-run strikes against enemy targets in addition to serving as a Patrol/Support Ship
WEAKNESSES
  • Exposed Bridge | Like most Vessels within the Final Dawn , the Bridge of the Ascendant Mark-II is largely exposed rendering it vulnerable to attacks from enemy Starfighters and Warships
  • Vulnerable Rear Section | Another common weakness among Neo-Imperial styled Warships are the fact that the rear of the Vessels have little defenses rendering them vulnerable to attacks from enemy Starfighter and Warships and the Ascendant Mark-II is no exception.
  • Mobility | In addition to the Exposed Bridge and Vulnerable Rear Section , the Ascendant Mark-II is quite sluggish with low mobility which could be disadvantageous especially in hit-and-run attacks
  • Shield Force Multipliers | When the Shield Force Multipliers of the Ascendant Mark-II are being utilized , the Power to the Shields will be largely focused in one point source strengthening that area from sustained heavy fire from hostile warships although this will result in the rest of the Shields throughout the the Ascendant Mark-II to be weakened
SIGNIFICANT WEAKNESSES

  • Exposed Reactor Bulbs | The Ascendant Mark-II has two visible ventral reactor bulbs which if destroyed could cause severe damage to the hull of the Ascendant Mark-II and cause the formation of "breaches" which if targeted by enemy warships and starfighters could deal further significant damage to the hull of the Ascendant Mark-II
DESCRIPTION

As the Final Dawn makes plans to begin it's push into the Core Worlds along with recent military build-ups from enemies of the Final Dawn such as the Nothmiro Federation and the Galactic Alliance , Grand Overseer Marlon Sularen ordered the development of a successor to the Ascendant Mark-I Star Destroyer , a Patrol/Support Ship which has seen little action throughout the Second Great Hyperspace War to date. Along with other latest additions to the Final Dawn's growing arsenal of Warships such as the Tyrant-Class and the Princeps Mark-II along with the planned Pryde-Class Battlecarrier and Hux-Class Interdictor Cruiser , the Ascendant Mark-II is part of overall preparations for Operation Frozen Hand designed with the sole purpose of providing the Final Dawn with a Multi-role Pocket Star Destroyer capable of protecting vital trade routes , providing Anti-Starfighter and Anti-Capital Ship Support for Larger Vessels of the Final Dawn Navy during Major Engagements and even conduct individual hit-and-run strikes against enemy targets with the new vessel holding More Firepower and Stronger Defensive Systems than its predecessor as well as an extensive amount of Standard and Advanced Systems , all meant to provide the Final Dawn with an edge over its enemies in future engagements.

Hello Marlon Sularen Marlon Sularen , The first issue I see is that you have Stealth Technology on the ship which means it is limited to Semi-unique. The second issue is that under materials you have Laminanium and it's features aren't listed as a strength. The third issue is that you don't list the shield force multipliers weaknesses. The fourth issue is that you have contradicting strengths and weaknesses. You list that it is reliant on shields as an significant weakness but then list durability and versatile defensive system as strengths. Please fix these and tag me when you are done.

What about now

Sorry for the slow reply. The question you should ask yourself is does this technology hide my ship from others. If the answer is yes, it is stealth technology. Lets break this down.
  • An electromagnetic shield was a type of shield used to deflect sensors. The SkyBlind manufactured by Loronar Corporation employed electromagnetic shields in conjunction with sensor masks and optical shields.

An Electromagnetic shield deflects sensors, thus hiding a ship. So its stealth technology.

  • Photon absorbers were one of the sensor-dampeners carried aboard StealthXs.

A sensor dampener is a sensor jammer which is defined as a type of device capable of blocking or fooling sensors. This could effectively cause a ship to go unnoticed by any possible observers, and also to prevent an attacker from gaining a weapons lock on the ship.

  • A scrambler was a device that was used to hide a ship's signature from another ship's sensors. In 5000 BBY, Relin Druur and Drev Hassin's Infiltrator starfighter was equipped with a scrambler and baffler to help hide the fighter's signature.

The entry states that scrambler hides your ships signature from another ships sensors so yes it is stealth technology.

  • A baffler, also called a sensor baffle, was a device that was used to hide an energy signature from another ship's sensors; sensor baffles were used on droids, ground vehicles, and starships. In 5000 BBY, Relin Druur and Drev Hassin's Infiltrator starfighter was equipped with a baffler and a scrambler to help hide the fighter's signature.

The entry states that a sensor baffle hides your energy signature from another ships sensors so yes it is stealth technology.

  • Sensor masks were devices added to starships so that they would be more difficult for other vessels to detect. The bounty hunters 4-LOM and Zuckuss had a sensor mask installed on their ship, the Mist Hunter.

Sensor masks actively mask your starship from sensors. So the answer is yes.

So given that each of these items is stealth technology. I ask again that you either make your ship Semi-unique or remove them from the entry.
