  • Damage Output: Firing large, disk-shaped projectiles at several mach per second, propelled by the turret's internal gauss based propulsion system, it would be safe to say that the weapon is capable of dealing a significant amount of damage to unarmored, armored and even shielded targets alike. The size and shape of its projectiles can also reliably ensure that any holes that are punched through an intended target won't be small, but very large. With the Mitsuama, accuracy isn't needed.
  • Ammunition Modularity: The Mitsuama-brand disk projectiles designed to be loaded into the turret can be fitted with any kind of munitions available to the owner. Whether they be thermobaric, cryogenic, corrosive, explosive, or any other kind of lethal or non-lethal. This, of course allows for a great deal of customer choice, ensuring that the Mitsuama turret can be prepared for any kind of enemy their owner may be expecting to face.

  • Stationary: An obvious downside to any turret is its inability to move. The Mitsuama requires a constant flow of power, meaning that it cannot be lifted off the ground and repositioned easily, it is also best suited to being physically built into wherever it is being placed. Allowing it to retract into walls, ceilings and floors. This design means that the turret, depending on the environment can be quite easily outmanoeuvred and even avoided.

The Mitsuama Defense Turret is an automated security turret developed by Nakaioma Home Security, a subdivision of the Nakaioma Security Services Corporation, as part of its Dynamic Security, or DynaSec line-up of next generation protection products. Based on a rotating platform, the Mitsuama is a stationary gauss weapon which utilizes coilgun mechanics as its means of firing disk-shaped projectiles, which can be installed with any number of munitions, including but not limited to cryogenic rounds, thermobaric rounds, corrosive rounds and simple explosive rounds, at extremely high velocities-- Unlike the corporation's other weapons, which are often rail-propelled in nature. Boasting full three hundred and sixty degree rotational capabilities, the Mitsuama is designed to be installed into walls, ceilings or floors, from which it can retract and appear out of whenever an alarm is activated, or the guns themselves are remotely switched on. A miniaturized Internal Security Camera located on the top of the turret allows it to detect targets via a variety of manners, including thermal, motion and sound.

Released onto the market alongside the Internal Security Camera, and Togawa Intruder Detector, the Mitsuama has found success in the protection of private residences, typically belonging to wealthy or influential individuals, corporate properties and public buildings, often government in nature. It was not strictly intended for military applications, but can certainly be used for the defense of military installations, or locations within a warzone. It is most often advertised towards civilian customers, as the ultimate method of personal, home and other property protection. It has also seen installation on starships, usually within the corridors, or vitally important locations of them. Featuring full wireless or wired connectivity with other DynaSec and Nakaioma Security brand equipment, the Mitsuama can seamlessly interface with the ISC and Intruder Detector to form a powerful security umbrella, cooperating in-sync to detect and neutralize unauthorized individuals entering an area they are responsible for protecting.

Seeing a Marketplace linked in Affiliation's a first for me, but that field's not nearly as strict as Manufacturer, so why not. Given how powerful this is implied to be, I figured I might as well [Insert Disclaimer About Not Calling Hits].
