STRENGTHS
  • All Weather - The Aeshma is capable of operating in the void, within an atmosphere, and when submerged underwater. Moreover, the Aeshma is capable of independent escape from a planet-sized primary body.
  • Void Fighter - Of particular note, the Aeshma is quite a fast propulsion system, capable of matching and in some cases, exceeding the speeds of swift interceptors in the void and within an atmosphere. This makes Aeshma very ideal for dogfighting in the void, allowing the operator to move with the speed of a starfighter while maintaining the inherent agility of their physical form. Along the same vein, the Aesham also enhances maneuverability, allowing her to execute sudden bursts of movement in any direction to evade attacks via the vectored and retro thrusters.
  • Electronic Control - If the user opts to not to install weapons, The Aeshma can include an ECM array, giving the operator electronic warfare tools for limited utility, defense, and electronic disruption capabilities in any given battlespace. However, it should be noted that this system is not nearly as powerful as a starfighter-grade ECM array, due to the size limitations of the host platform. In essence, this is very much a miniaturized system and as such can feasibly overwhelmed by ECCM or similar systems, especially if the system is based on a larger host platform.
  • Aerial Firepower - For additional firepower, the user can install two weapons at the expense of the ECM array. This can turn the Aeshma into a dangerous mobile firepower platform.
WEAKNESSES
  • Overload - The Aeshma's Sleg Ultracapacitors can be dangerous when overloaded with energy, with the potential to explode or catch on fire.
  • Point of Failure - When used by an organic operator, the acceleration compensators are easily the most critical component of the Aeshma. In the event that they begin to operate at reduced efficiency, typically due to damage, the performance of the propulsion system will likely need to be turned down,
  • Burn Wound - The Aeshma's boost SLAM module can only be sustained for a limited amount of time due to its intense power demands and potential to overheat the engines. At maximum, the system can be active for twenty consecutive seconds before it is automatically shut off, at which point the thrusters must undergo a mandatory heat discharge protocol.
  • Mechu-deru - An unspoken weakness of virtually all modern technology, the Aeshma is vulnerable to the esoteric sorceries of Mechu-deru and other technology-corrupting powers. As such, a skilled practitioner of such arts can quickly disable the machine, provided that they have a direct line of sight to the propulsion system and its operator.
  • Exposed Weaponry and Long Reload - When set in a firing position, the Aeshma's mounted weapons are exposed, making them a tempting target for enemy fire. Any loaded ammunition could feasibly be detonated by a penetrating, a significant risk if rocket rifles are equipped. In addition, the mounted weapons are not easy to reload, as they must be taken off and reinstalled, often requiring another person to assist with the task. As such, it is not uncommon for the mounted weapons to be jettisoned when out of ammo.
DESCRIPTION
The FAE/U-03 "Aeshma" Hybrid Propulsion System is an advanced personal mobility system for armor, droids, and similarly-scaled platforms. Borrowing elements from the Eleleth, the Aeshma is a more intensive system designed for dedicated space and aerial troopers. A hybrid system, the Aeshma is an all-weather unit capable of operating in atmosphere, underwater, and within deep space, offering a versatility that few other personal propulsion systems can match. While the Aeshma does not have onboard weapon systems like many types of Mandalorian jetpacks, it does offer utility in the form of an optional ECM array, giving the operator access to a suite of electronic warfare modules which can be used for a wide variety of purposes. Like the Eleleth, the Aeshma is equipped with inertial compensators to protect the operator from the G-forces the system is capable of. All in all, the Aeshma is hoped to be a capable, advanced, and reliable basis for void and jump trooper units equipped by First United Astral Engineering, giving these aerial warriors a potential edge over their competitors.

  • Hyper Heal - In many ways, the organ is capable of producing medical miracles. And yet, none so clearly as the powerful healing agents it is capable of synthesizing, especially the likes of Aspha Serum and Bacta-H, which are capable of healing wounds within moments, making for a kind of technological Force healing.
  • Varied Delivery - The organ can produce drugs in gas or liquid form.
  • Drug Shortage - A Nuetralizer or biot equipped with the organ can be walking drug factory. It can help to relieve drug shortages in hard-pressed clinics which are far from established production lines.
WEAKNESSES
  • Alpha Red - Alpha Red toxin can kill the organ, likely causing extreme bleeding, liquefaction, and a host of other deleterious effects.
  • Vong Tissue - The organ is allergic to and unable to produce antidotes for Baffor tree pollen, due to it being constructed out of Vong Biot tissue, much like the crab armor worn by the Yuuzhan Vong. Naturally, exposure to this substance can be fatal or deadly to various degrees, for both the organ itself and the Nuetralizer, as well.
  • Dependent Power - The organ does not include its own source of power. Should it be severed from the host's power plant, it will no longer function.
DESCRIPTION
Derived from the capabilities of the Crisis Nuetralizer, the Bio-Organic Drug Synthesis Organ is a medication, drug, and healing agent synthesis organ. It is capable of synthesizing any number of drugs, vaccines, healing agents, antidotes, and other medications from the host’s body fluids. In this regard, it is ideal for ‘outback’ and battlefield clinics, where drug shortages are common. All in all, the organ is hoped to expand and broaden Calligenia's treatment capabilities, allowing her to treat patients under even the most demanding conditions.

  • Acerbic Affliction - Unfortunately, acid weapons are very effective at eating through the protective material to harm the wearer directly, potentially inflicting a host of dangerous effects.
  • Neck Piece - The neck piece houses sensitive electronics, defensive projectors, targeting assistance, sensors, and other support systems. While resilient, damage to this part could compromise these functions, leaving the wearer deprived of head protection, sensors, and other utility functions.
  • Mechanical Mutation - While lacking some of the more demanding systems present in many armors produced by First United Astral Engineering, the Kor'ethyr Academy Uniform Ensembles still has a degree of advanced technology and automation. A skilled practitioner of Mechu-deru could feasibly disable these systems and put the wearer at a disadvantage, provided that they have a clear line of sight to their target

STRENGTHS
  • Multi Mode - The FAE/I-04 is two weapons integrated into one system. A flamethrower and a shockwave projector.
  • Scorcher - The flame projector part of the FAE/I-04 is not lacking in burning potential. The weapon represents firepower in the literal sense, with the scorching flames produced by the guidance beam burning hot enough to melt tungsten.
  • Blast Wave - The shockwave projector deals damage via a raw burst of kinetic energy, unleashing an explosion akin to a concussion grenade. In this, it is can sending victims flying backwards in a manner akin to a Force Push. However, this same force manifests waves of overpressure that are capable of shattering durasteel barricades, smashing bones, and blowing open internal organs within its effective range.
  • No Fuel - As the FAE/I-04 generates its fire by igniting the atmosphere around a charged guidance beam rather than a liquid fuel source, the weapon does not require a fuel tank—only an energy source. Accordingly, the user does not have to deal with the extra hazard of carrying fuel.
  • Resilient - The FAE/I-04 is insulated and hardened against electromagnetic and ion threats, making it reliable in conditions of high electromagnetic activity.
WEAKNESSES
  • Charge Time - Due to the time it takes to spool up from a stable, inactive state, it takes roughly 30 seconds for the Isotope Trithium Zero to recharge the energy capacitor, even if the capacitor is only partially or minimally depleted. However, this timeframe can be shortened if the Isotope is kept active, however, by doing so the user risks…
  • Overload - By keeping the Isotope Trithium Zero active over an extended period of time, it can in fact generate more power than the capacitor can safely take on. Accordingly, should the capacitor become overloaded, the Isotope Trithium Zero can become a small bomb, capable of annihilating the user and inflicting catastrophic effects.
  • Mechu-deru - Unlike Pyrokinesis or a Force Push, the FAE/I-04 is susceptible to Mechu-deru and other technology-corrupting powers. A talented practitioner of such esoteric sorceries could induce a failure that might compromise the implant entirely or demand precious time to fix, leaving the user vulnerable.
  • Searing Gaze - Fire attracts attention by its very nature and the flames produced by the FAE/I-04 are certainly no exception. The flames generated by the weapon are extremely visible, making the user a very distinct target in a typical battlefield, easily picked out by snipers while lighting up any thermal imaging systems. In addition, the shockwave projector is extremely loud, making the user relatively easy to pick out.
  • Vacuum - The charged guidance beam needs an atmosphere to ignite in order to produce flame. In addition, the shockwave projector can not project its shockwave without a medium to propagate through. For this reason, the FAE/I-04 is ineffective in any location without an atmosphere—such as the vacuum of space.
DESCRIPTION
The FAE/I-04 FlameShock Projector Implant is a hybrid cybernetic weapon system which utilizes ancient Baragwin innovations in flamethrower technology in its design. The projector is a combined flamethrower and shockwave weapon, with the former mode generating fire by igniting the atmosphere around a charged guidance beam, thereby manifesting a half-second burst of flame that remains at optimal range out to 25 meters from the discharge point. This flame burns at temperatures in excess of five thousand degrees centigrade in a Type I atmosphere—hot enough to melt tungsten. The latter mode—the shockwave projector—generates hypersonic shockwaves which carry enough overpressure to shatter durasteel barricades within their effective range, dealing damage through raw kinetic force. These concussive waves of overpressure carry extreme amounts of kinetic energy. When used against organic targets, it can impose injuries akin to the explosion of a concussion grenade, with the potential to shatter bones, blow open internal organs, and even inflict total body disruption at closer ranges.

A primary benefit of the Baragwin technology used in the FAE/I-04 is that the user does not need to carry an external fuel source, which are often hazardous to have on person in the context of the typical modern battlefield where blasters typically reign supreme.

Like its sister design, the FAE/I-04 is powered by Isotope Trithium Zero, which provides the weapon with a virtually limitless source of power. However, this power does not afford a limitless capacity, as the energy capacitor can only hold a set amount of charge before overloading.

Ultimately, while the FAE/I-04 intended for only a very limited production run, it is hoped to represent the benchmark in weaponized cybernetics.
