The company prides itself on maintaining fair, living wages for all of its employees even under times of financial strain. However, its large production of biosynthetic individuals is often considered to be a blackmark on its moral reputation.
RATIONALE
Initially founded as a biotech start-up by Chora Asichi on Coruscant during the days of the Core Imperial Confederation, First United Astral Engineering developed a new cloning technique which led to it receiving a large injection of funding in the wake of the Confederation’s fall. During the initial stages of the Scintilla’s expansion, First United Astral Engineering found a niche as a defense and military supplier for the nascent Agents of Chaos, allowing it to quickly expand its facilities within the Scintilla as the Agents of Chaos developed into a major, albeit unconventional galactic power.
