SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Life Support - Intended not only as a bio-support system, the FAE/C-03 is also a life support platform, enclosing the host suit in a sterile vacuum seal which prevents the penetration of toxins, chemicals, or other deleterious gases into the suit. It also comes with a limited air supply, which can be switched or altered based on specific biological needs.
  • Restoration - The integrated biorestorative underlay speeds the healing processes of the wearer, on top of the primary healing agents and drug synthesis systems incorporated into the system.
  • Medical Synthesis - Capable of synthesizing a wide variety of treatments, medicines, and drugs from an onboard biomolecule supply, the FAE/C-03 offers an unparalleled degree of versatility, capable of treating a wide variety of afflictions, from the common to the exootic. The drugs can also provide utility, allowing the user to last longer in a battle or even fake their own death.
WEAKNESSES
  • Treatment Limitations - Unfortunately, as an armor-integrated system, the FAE/C-03 is not a replacement for a full surgical or medical suite. In many cases, the best the system can do is keep the user alive or on their feet.
  • Material Limitations - Naturally, the system can only carry a limited amount of biomolecules. If these are depleted and replenishment is unavailable, drugs, medicines, and/or treatments can not be synthesized, forcing the wearer to rely on external sources for treatment. This also applies for the primary healing agent reservoirs as well.
  • Surge - If unprotected, Ion/EMP discharges can damage the electronics in the FAE/C-03, rendering the system disabled or less efficient.
DESCRIPTION
Identifying a need for a more robust and versatile medical system than biorestorative underlays, First United Astral Engineering ordered its designers to build a bio-support suite for integration into refits and future armor designs. To that end, the FAE/C-03 BioMedical Support System was developed. Starting life as a basic bio-support dispenser and armor-integrated life support system, the technicians managed to engineer a miniaturized drug synthesis unit based on biomolecules, vastly expanding the capabilities of the design.

Capable of synthesizing everything from stimulant injections, wound sealant application, antitoxins, and even various utility drugs, the synthesis system was refined and developed, becoming one of the FAE/C-03’s primary selling points. In effect, these drugs can keep soldiers on their feet in spite of injuries which otherwise might render them incapable of fighting. Unfortunately, they aren’t a replacement for a full surgical or medical suite.

Nevertheless, the system is hoped to revolutionize battlefield medicine and minimize casualties among the soldiers under the company’s contracted organizations and factions.
