Caltin did indeed see the Rodian get shot down, it surprised him. Of course, he was more concerned about the mass of individuals all of whom seemed more and more interested in surrounding following him. The more he pointed out the issues he had with all that was going on, the more the same people kept speaking up in aggressive opposition. Sure, there were more and more in the crowd who looked puzzled and were questioning their position on the entire purpose of this riot. It was meant to be little more than a protest.

"Master Jedi... those people who would do harm, they're not us."

"Yeah, that guy that stabbed you... I didn't want that..."

"Me neither..."

Of course, there were some who were just angry.

"No one's listening to us! Maybe Leedo went too far, but killing him was unnecessary."

"Don't any of you get it? None of them care!"

"Yeah, you saw this Jedi jump down to us. Look at his size, his weapons. He's here to shut us up."

This brought Caltin to a complete stop.

Did I not just tell you that you have a right to be heard? Did I not just say that? I will march with you to the government office.

"Big talk from a Ronto with two lightsabers!"

"Shut up... wait who are you?"

"Back off! I'M with you here! My friends and I..."

Are ruining the premise of your protest.

"Bug off, Jedi! You just want to kill everyone."

No... no, I don't.

"He hasn't done a thing against us!"

"Schutta!"

Suddenly a fight broke out and the big guy just let out a sigh and separated those involved. By this time several had run off in different directions, clearly trying to dust anyone looking for them. He just looked at everyone with hints of anger, resentment, and disappointment.

I will be walking to the government building in order to arrange a meet. I will also be sending local police out here to stop those who only seem to care about destroying. Anybody who feels that your message is just and wants to be heard, follow me.

Then he looked at a few win particular.

Understand though, that I am a lot more observant than you think that I am. I know who is in and who is out.

There was suddenly a change among those around him, the best way to quell a riot like this is to do so from within. He had no desire to suppress them and that was becoming more and more evident and it was clear that they would police themselves.

... YET THE DAWN ALWAYS COMES.

As he had noted it was a nice shot, she lowered her other arm; up-nodding him. "Don't waste it, would be terrible if you went splat from up here" she snapped of a macabre joke in his direction, stepping back and holding the line taut. They may have needed it for later, and as such she wasn't going to tie it off. That meant that the anchor for his traversal would have to be her for a while. She stood at the ready, holding it tautly, while using the Force to accentuate how much tension was provided on the line.

Then he mentioned it was his first time, she slowly panned grays onto him with a blink.
"Me too... Try to make it across quick yeah, I'm not gonna' drop you... I think." She smirked then, nodding to him. As soon as he was off she budged a little, but loosed a growl, making a fist, and holding her wrist with her opposite hand. She watched, and persevered until he had safely touched down on the opposite side. Only a few seconds passing before she got a running start and dove high in the air, and forward, simultaneously allowing the cord to reel itself rapidly; she hadn't thought this completely through...

There was a combination of momentum, balance, technology, and the Force that caused her to roll onto the rooftop with a grunt and a few rolls; moving into a kneel and pulling that grappling hook out of the wall. She allowed it to return to its original position, then went to Kadan before she felt a familiar signature within the Force. She couldn't dare have any confusion about it, but it also didn't make much sense in this situation, doubly for the direction it was coming from.

When their opponent hit the rooftop, mentioning breaking things, Aayla knew who it was without the damn callsigns, but got the message. THIS was a story she needed to hear later. For now... There was an iconic snap-hiss of a saber activating, a dirty-yellow beam produced from the hilt of the weapon. It could've easily been mistaken for a shade of green, though it wasn't. The blade hummed angrily as she spun it around her form, and went fell into Shii-Cho.

"Kadan, the hostages..."

She said, suggesting she could take the other alone. In reality, if Phalsi was here pretending to be an enemy operative... Or hell, playing like a Shadow while truly being a double-agent, it was something she wished to know before she had begun the mission. In the end she wasn't positive what Phalsi's objective here was, but she didn't want to blow her cover in case anyone was listening... After all, they had figured out they were on the roof somehow right?

Here they were though... For now, she would lower the blade, side-stepping left and immediately forcing the others attention to split between Kadan, and Aayla. She wasn't stopping both of them.

[Delta Go]

Their orders were simple, the Dominion infiltrators were entering from below and doing so quietly. They were going to get a lay of the inside without being seen by anyone. This gave Gold and Red teams their move to go through the Comms building and make their way to the roof. Slowly their entry was quiet and calm and was about halfway up when a call was made.

[In position. hostages wearing incendiary collars. Going silent]]

Bartleby just looked at Gabriel as Azrael was on comms.

[Blue Team, keep eyes on the windows, as much detail as possible. If you have a shot, take it. Keep me informed.]

The trip up each floor was rather boring to the point that Bartleby was on his computer. It was so raucous, his focus on his computer screen, that Gabriel pulled out his own and began looking into it. One might think that it was unprofessional if they did not know the two. There was definitely more to this.

What are you doing?

Castiel, Samael, Perimeter... Bartleby, Gabriel... tell me what you know.

If the collars have circuitry. they can be pinged. I can find them.

If they can be pinged, I can shut them down.

They won't know?

Only if they see it happen.
... yeah, we scare them.

Omeal did as the Captain ordered, watching the windows for any movement but most of the windows were blocked off via planks and cardboard so he mostly just waited. The other two snipers were talking more interest in Master Vanagor trying to talk the crowd down and placing bets if he could break them up or not.
"Do you think the old man has got this? That is a lot of people, it would be better just to mow them all down than worrying about them getting in the way. It would make the mission easier at least."
Micheal just shook his head. "When do you ever think that mowing down civilians is alright? What would the Jedi say? Besides the objective in the briefing said that we should disperse them without bloodshed."
With a grin, Sauriel replied as cheerfully as he ever got. "It also said idealistically, nothing in this world is idealistic especially that crowd that will rip the Master to shreds if it makes its mind up, so I call it necessary."
As the two argued, Omeal kept patient, keeping a watch over the windows and building but not seeing anything out of the ordinary he shifted his focus over to the rooftops where "Team Two" had attached a line to the City Hall and were sliding down the rope to the main building. Out of nowhere, someone in a mask jumped out, holding out two lightsaber hilts who definitely wasn't a friendly operative. "Sir, we got an enemy operative on the roof with two lightsabers. They are facing off against Team Two, attempting to disarm the subject so the Jedi can apprehend her for questioning." As the other two snipers looked over to see the action, the silenced M-14 barked in anger, its projectile aimed at the subject's right hand, aimed right at the lightsaber hilt. Hopefully, Team Two could take her down in a two-on-one, he didn't need to fill out more reports on dead people today.

They weren't taking the bait, but that was okay. There were other ways of getting what she needed. An alarm alerted her to movement by the roof door, their head turning to see that one of her assistants was in position to head off the jedi. Well, that would be something for the recordings. Chundrall leaned back, hands coming together, staring at the displays. Fitch had damn near lost his hand with that sniper, but the jedi were now in place. Which meant things were going exactly as planned. "Prime the collars, set it for seven minutes. Don't want to make it too easy for the jedi." They said coldly, moving to set up a backdoor for access later on.

They just needed the footage, and a good set up. The people of the galaxy would make up their own narrative as time went on.

"Fitch, get yourself together and garrison the group in the main hall with the rest of the hostages." They left out the fact about the collars, muting the man's reply, because truthfully, he was as good as dead. Was worth the cheap cost though. Probably the only thing useful about the man. Looking at the city burning, Chundrall figured that they would need one final distraction. Opening a drawer on their desk, they retrieved the device within, and held it tightly against their palm. "Was hoping to avoid using this, but no point now." They spoke only to themselves, their hands moving over their keyboard, they needed to get one more thing in place.

"Hands up! No funny business now or I'll blast ya, hear?" Raising his hands slowly, Varn gave the gunmen who'd come to greet him his best attempt at a winning smile. Scraggly, rough-looking sorts, the men and women didn't seem all that impressed by him. Which was fine, really. Given the fact he was being held at blasterpoint, he wouldn't of been impressed either. "You armed? You're armed, ain'tcha?" Gesturing one of his compatriots forward, Talker -as Varn had decided to call him- watched the Knight warily, a carbine aimed squarely at his chest.

"I am." Varn confessed as thug number two took the lightsaber from his belt. "Or was. I'm going to need that back." He said to thug number two. The chit-eater merely grinned at him as he slid the cylindrical hilt into his jacket pocket. Varn made a note before turning back to Talker. The man in question regarded him with a raised eyebrow, the carbine slowly but surely falling away from Varn's chest. "So, wanted to see Chundrall, is that it?" The Zabrak nodded. "It is." Talker seemed to find that funny. "And what makes y' think he wants to talk to you, ey? As you know, we're kind o' busy babysitting at the moment, and don' really have time to entertain guests."

Nodding, Varn did his best to make it look like he understood fully. "I understand fully," he said, not missing a beat, "but my superiors are having a hard time coming to terms with the demands Chundrall's set. A very hard time. They sent me to negotiate on their behalf, and to see whether we can't find a way in which we all come out of this in one piece." Varn shrugged. "You all seem like reasonable people. I'm sure you can see the wisdom in it." For a moment, silence reigned. The gunmen -a half-dozen in all- looked at each other, back to the Zabrak.

The Knight smiled as they laughed. What else was he to do?

"You're not half bad, y'know that, friend?" Chuckling to himself, Talker waved him forwards. "Come on. Let's go see the Boss. Maybe find some wisdom, yeah?" Talker laughed again. Letting his hands drop, Varn followed the man as he led the way from the vestibule into the large entrance hall beyond. The zabrak did his best to get a feel for the environment as he followed Talker past the remnants of what had once been the front desk before a construction mech had ruined it.

"If I'm being honest, I'm surprised they sent you to talk, Jedi. The pigs outside tried much the same not too long ago. We told 'em exactly what Chundrall did when we's first took this place. They didn't get the message." Talker turned to gaze at Varn over his shoulder, an ugly scar splitting his face from forehead to cheek to jaw. "When we's started shootin' though, they seemed to understand well enough. Fell back to their little cordon to lick at their wounded pride. Probably why they sent you, no? If the Jedi fails, they save face. Makes it look like there was never a chance to begin with, get me?" Talker's eyes took on a hard cast. It wasn't enough to make Varn wilt. "I get you."

"Bien."

Taking the stairs up -all the elevators seemed to have been disabled- the Jedi stuck with the group as they came to a room filled with desks and partitions. Datapads and Holodevices lay strewn across their path, telling Varn all he needed to know about who the hostages were. These weren't the rich and powerful they had on their knees, but clerks and administrators. White-collars, yes, but not the type to live in swanky apartments atop gleaming towers. Speaking of. "Mind if I ask as to where the hostages are being held? May I see them?" Talker came to a halt at a sort of t-junction, and gestured for Varn and his guards to do the same. "All in good time, Mr. Negotiator. First, we've some business to attend to."

Coming to a stop, Varn gazed around as his escort spread out on all sides, and two new gunmen appeared from a separate direction. In one of their hands, the knight spotted a bomb collar. Well, that's not good. "Put this on." One of the newcomers demanded, throwing Varn the bomb collar. It bounced off his chest, came to a rest at his feet. "Are we not going to see Chundrall?" He asked, his voice taking on a surprised tone. He looked around again -at the gunmen, the room they stood in, making notes- before his gaze came to settle on Talker. "Did you not say we were going to see Chundrall?"

Talker shrugged as if it was no big deal. "I did. And?"

"Did you not want to find wisdom together?"

Talker laughed at that. Yet, this time, there was little humour in it. "Maybe one day, Jedi. For now, the wisest thing for you to do is pick up that collar and put it on like the good, obedient dog you are. Oh, and stop trying to play us for fools, yeah? We know you've got people coming for those hostages." Standing straighter, the hairs on the back of Varn's neck stood on end as eight- nine safeties clicked off in unison. "I see." Varn said, the Force a gentle presence at his back and sides as something settled in the pit of his stomach.

I see.

In response to her appearance, she heard the snap of a lightsaber, attention drawn to it straightaway as she spied Aayla stepping into a familiar form. Had the mask not been on her face, Aayla might have seen her smile. As it was, her attention diverted briefly to Kadan before opening her mouth to holler at Aayla.

The action interrupted as time seemed to slow, the short hairs on the back of her neck bristling as an ill feeling crept through her. A sluggish and deeply rooted sense of wrong that formed in the pit of her stomach as her hand jerked. The movement made sense without reason. But she wasn't as well versed in combat as some of her peers, and the sizzle of blaster energy scorched the plate that sat atop her armored civilian clothing.

Heat filled the top of her hand, an instinctive reaction to drop the item in her hand barely stopped as the heat compounded against the knuckles of her gloves. She'd been lucky. She didn't dare try to be lucky again as she slipped the whip handle onto her belt and drew her other saber in quick succession.

Time flowed smoothly once more for her as she did. The forming beads of sweat behind the mask unseen thankfully as she pondered where the silent shot had originated from. Both sabers ignited in her hands, the soft blues of both shorter than a typical lightsaber as she abandoned her attention to Kadan and charged Aayla low and fast.

Had to make it look good at least, even if her sabers were dialed down to a stun effect.

One blade came in high and the other low, diagonally swinging in a scissor motion as she tempered her speed to just above sparring pace. If she blocked them by capturing them in front of her, Phalsi would put her whole body weight into pushing her back as best she could from a low stance before trying to push her blade to the side for a low sweeping kick at her legs.

She kept her pace to a slightly speedy spar, the mask not betraying her just yet as she spoke in the garbled mechanical voice.

"A little birdy told me you where up here! You ought to prepare better, maybe look a bit more before you jump on in!" She cackled while they 'fought' and hoped Aayla understood the plainly hidden message.

They were in fact being watched, and even she had struggled to see the little droid Yula had used.

Take your first steps.

This was the lesson that Master Starchaser had given her. The blonde had worked with the Jedi Master since the days of the Sullust-founded Alliance. The Alliance that helped defeat the One Sith, the one she served as an intelligence agent. The Brubreen Hybrid had been working on Kattada, speaking to Witches, trying to find a path that worked for her. She supported the Jedi, hell, her father was an Antarian Ranger, her birth was to help the Jedi. But now, the Force was calling to her louder than it had in the past. And that meant she was taking a pass from her role as an agent of the Jedi to learn some new skills.

And maybe powers.

Today, though, she was loaded up into one of the Silver landing vessels, like the LAAT, and escorting supplies to one of the outer settlements. She was seeing that there were several pirates out the way and she tightened her grip on her stun batons. Martial weapons were her specialty, over the ranged weapons. Maybe it was her father’s doing, or part of her looking for the Force. Still, the LAAT was leading the other two and the transports.

“We’re going to set down, but let us lay some covering fire.” Came the pilot’s orders as the point-beam lasers began firing on the pirates. These weren’t mere brigands, they were a bit more organized.

Trust the Force.

She heard his voice again as she ran and leapt out of the LAAT. She’d been able to do a little training with Master Starchaser, and was feeling comfortable in the more control, body oriented skills. Dodging a blaster bolt, she slid in, reducing a human’s knee to cracked bone.

Gear: Sasori Shan Robes, Aayla's Saber , Aayla's other saber , Force-Vambraces
Objective: 1 - Rescue Hostages (Though will beat up bad guys for free)

Aayla was hyper-focused on Phalsi, already calming from the sudden shock that came with the other suddenly presenting themselves as an enemy, her head spinning a quarter-second after the blaster bolt left the rifle, not even able to visually acquire it before it hit the other, she simply stared at her. She hoped she hadn't lost her hand. She listened, and truly, truly trusting the other. She did think she understood. So much so that she wouldn't do what should've come natural at that point, and look around like an idiot. That would have just been telling...

The next thing she knew, her own comrade was on her. Aayla did what felt natural, being to take hurried steps to her left, and '
inadvertently' putting herself between Phalsi, and the shooter. Simultaneously, she dialed her own saber back a bit, having up until now being set to cauterize and remove anything it touched. Bringing it up with finesse, to engage Phalsi in the saber lock she was pushing on.

"Shadow Rises..." She whispered, noting her saber being pushed to the side, she went into it; intent on catching the other on the back-swing. Instead, she received a hellish sweep. She was going to raise her foot, but took the strike; gray hues, with mercury stripe flittering about the air for a moment; she had to find it... Also...

Her right foot moved first, gathering momentum as she swept at the others ankles, making sure to maintain form even grounded in case Phalsi attempted to strike her while down... She didn't expect that, and hoped the other understood she needed space. It would be in that moment as well that she caught it... When she saw it, and more-so focused on it; it was locked in. That signature of it unmistakable. For now, she got back onto her feet, still offering her back to the long range shooters; last thing she needed was to see a friend die tonight.

OBJECTIVE I: Save the Hostages.
His saber was in his hand, his eyes focused on the female form before him. This had gotten far more complicated than he had planned on, as apparently there was another element in play for the group currently holding the building. Kadan's blade sprang to life as a shot rang our, Aayla moved to stand between the shooter and the pair's new foe, only to find it was the mystery woman who had taken the shot. Aayla had told him to press on without her, and he felt a mix of uncertainty on how to proceed. He looked to her, then the attacker. He supposed that if the worse came into being, then Aayla wouldn't be alone here, yet...to leave her on her own?
His saber shut off, as he moved past the two women, his feet hitting the stairs before that lightwhip user could think to try it on him. He moved down the stairs, more focused on the hostages, figuring all attempts at being subtle had been abandoned, and quickly ran into the two roof guards who had disappeared moments before.
A blaster rifle was raised to him, and Kadan quickly pulled the weapon free with the force, sending it clattering to the floor as he leapt towards the second man. He smashed his foot into the back of the second man's leg, his right hand connected to the man's unshielded face, and spun an elbow into the first man's jaw just as he had drawn a blaster; sending both to the floor in rather quick fashion.
Catching his breath, Kadan soon realized he was being filmed, and his desire to hurry along compelled him forward.
Hopefully there was still time.

Finding herself. That was the real challenge. The Jedi had their way of using the Force, and she wasn’t totally against it, but it wasn’t the dogma that Peyton could live with. By all accounts, she’d be a Shadow of the Jedi, a Sentinel in the way that Starchaser was in his early days. The Jedi had moved… evolved? Fallen? From the front line combat to the more fighting the dark side on the spiritual world of the Force. He still inspired the conflict how he always had, but now, there was something more to it, something polished… something ancient.

As she swung her stun baton, she rolled below another bolt, finding her footing, she twisted, and as she did, placed both batons in her left hand. Using her momentum from the turn, she took a dagger and hurled it, end over end until it found purchase in the next gunman that thought he had her name in his blaster pack. She knew that this job would be easier if she were to build a lightsaber.

It was on her list, ok? It had only been a few weeks ago she had realized there was a latent potential here. And the Witch on Kattada, Waters, had helped her a bit.

As more pirates were seen shuffling into the street and pulling hostages, Peyton could only mutter “No…” As she ran towards the fray. She was supposed to be sneaking, but apparently that wasn’t working for the day.

As she was running, the almost silent sound of blaster shots came from above, and one of the LAATs and a pair of Rangers were taking long shots at the pirates. As she surveyed behind her, a few other soldiers were coming in.

“They’re in the hall…” Said one of the freed humanoids. The middle aged woman pointing to what seemed to be a village center. Turning, the woman, who really only held rank in the Silver Forces from her history on the war in favor of the light side, pointed to two that seemed more versed in CQC based on their weapons. “With me.”

[Movement on lower levels, orders?]

[Green, if you have a shot, take it. Blue, do not engage the Force Users. Locate any other Jedi in the area and reinforce.]

The last orders to Blue Team were not due to a lack of faith in them, Azrael firmly believed he now had the three best snipers in the galaxy bar none, but Jedi were Jedi and one carrying two lightsabers meant that they were more than capable of seeing it coming.

You see that, Gabriel?

I did.

Both of them stood erect and made their way to a window. Each of them holding their datapads towards the government building. Looking at each other, they were lucky that Samael was next to them as he shoved Bartleby to the side and opened fire at the building across the way blowing huge gaping chunks from the building and blowing out holes. Gabriel was meanwhile setting up his FTB rocket(EMP ordinance), as did Michael, and thus Azrael. Bartleby took a minute to do so as well.

Any opening... light'em'up. Get'em as far into the building as you can.

There's a problem in there. Some kind of trap. Reload if you have to.

Keep us covered, Sam.

Wonderful.

Green Team was slowly, methodically taking down patrols and stray thugs. They knew that there was something going down but it was too late to try and exit, they would refuse to anyway at this point. Zadkiel hated the thought of hostages and frankly would end himself before letting others be used this way successfully.

As he marched down the main street, dozens of citizens in tow, Caltin wasn’t sure how to go about this. The big guy knew that there were hostages in the main building but that was it. There was little else in the way of information and while he wanted to stay away and be a distraction, he was here now and a big part of him just wanted to rip the doors open and fight his way inside. If he did though, what would happen to the hostages? Would he be fast enough? Would they be walking into a trap?

“Hesitation is a hole in the head”.

That is an old saying his brother n law Arestul used to hammer into his pilot’s heads. It meant that if you had a thought, idea, plan, or instinct, you needed to act because your opponent was. Before he had a chance to ponder further, there was weapons fire coming from the upper floors of an adjacent building, it was Omega Squad. Then they opened fire with rockets into the same building, however, there seemed to be a little explosive effect.

Almost on cue, his comm-link went off. It was Mueller.

Master Jedi. I see you down on ground level. We’re bombarding them with ION and EMP rockets. There should be no issue in the realm of casualties, but the desired effect is to shut off the bomb collars strapped to them. I’ve ordered my men to move in.

Acknowledged.

Turning to those behind him.

Whether you are here for legitimate or nefarious purposes… well I don’t care right now. I’m going in there, and I will help rescue people who did not deserve to be put in the position they are in. If you agree with me, that’s great, you understand, if you are on the fence, remember this. What we do now, well it echoes in eternity. Yeah, you may feel that those in that building are responsible for the issues in your life right now, and that may well be the case, the does not mean that they deserve to be where they are. They may have families too, what about them? What about the child who won’t see their mom? Their dad?

Pointing at the building.

No matter what your message is, this is what you will be known for, now stay here.

Walking up the steps, Caltin reached out his arm, his connection to the Force was not that of the traditional Jedi or Sith anymore, so the Force did not complete the task he was about to commit to, but an electrical field emanating from his synapses. Soon the tendrils of natural energy enveloped a section of the doors, and as Caltin pulled his hand back, the entire section ripped off.

... YET THE DAWN ALWAYS COMES.

Aayla had blocked, but been caught by the sweep as she went down. Phalsi half attempted to move forward before she spotted the leg sweep that Aayla was preparing. She moved forward enough to warrant the next move.

Her right foot lifted, back arching out of the forward momentum as her hands moved behind her. Aayla's right foot would brush Phalsi's left as her body twisted into an awkward back-flip.

The sabers in her hands clicked against the ground, gritting her teeth as she tried to cup her hands to avoid putting all her weight against the hilts. She hadn't practiced this move enough with sticks to be well versed as one blade shut off while the other blade buzzed from touching the ground.

She rolled clean through the move, crouching down low and staying in the line of obstruction Aayla had made between them and the shooters at range. Her eyes darted over the roof line, waiting for a shot to come in.

"Hopefully the boy toy can get where he's going. Lots of friends on the way down!" Another silent warning though others might have seen it as goading. There was a tilt to her head as she added something.

"Oh but I hope he is nice to Pinky. Or I'll have to break his fingers. She's only here for the camera's if memory serves. Not like the rest. They can sit and spin for all that matters." Those words held a bit of malice behind them, though not enough to do more than warn.

Your path is before you. Walk it.

Did that make Coren her Master? She didn’t think so. She worked for him, with him, helping defeat the dark side at every turn. But he was a Jedi, she was … something else. A warrior for the Light, true, but not a Jedi, she had to draw her own path in the future. She could, and she would. That was why she was here, among the Jedi, to bathe in the light, but find what called out to her, and check the records, and the datacron she had been gifted.

One of the Old New Jedi Order datacrons, with names and locations, some out dated, but no less an area for her to start, of teachers and small sects of other groups within the Force. Ranging from the Jensaarai to the Zeison Sha and the organizations in between. At first she thought that the Jensaarai were her calling, having worked so well with Veino Garn Veino Garn in the past, but it did not appear to be her group.

She was martial, and she had something that was growing, was it the Force itself? Who was doing that?

It didn’t matter at this point. She checked her light body armor, no marks, no scuffs. Well, there were about to be. “Keep guns ready, set for stun.” She ordered, or highly suggested. Moving quickly, the other in her unit were keeping their eyes peeled for more incoming. The LAAT had moved on and were setting themselves at a rally point, the supply LAATs were running with their escorts, but first it was to free this village.

Running towards the door, she hit the wall and put away one of her stun batons. The other crackled to life as one of her team tossed in a concussive grenade. As the sound and thud went off, Peyton found herself moving in sync with something greater than herself, faster than she was used to, a swing to stun one, and another, then a jump up and off the wall to stun the third. That was when her team came in.

As the Clone Trooper watched Aayla block his scope, he internally sighed at the loss of his entertainment. Not like there was anything else to watch on the holo but something in the display that was his mind was about to change channels.

"The Jedi the whole way. No riff-raff can ever beat one of our Jedi in a straight-up fight. I'll put ten credits on it."

"But that person has a whip, she is totally going to rock the Jedi's socks off"

"You're just saying that because you like her whip."

"Of course I do, it is a badass weapon. And you on."

As Micheal and Sauriel debated the betting ratios, something strange happened inside Omeal's mind. Something that was supposed to happen 800 years ago. The chip in his brain had jump-started itself in his brain and whether broken or not, it was starting to affect him. The soldier's finger slowly
squeezed down on the trigger as he muttered the phrase all clones knew "Good soldiers follow orders."

[Green, if you have a shot, take it. Blue, do not engage the Force Users. Locate any other Jedi in the area and reinforce.]

The new voice of the Captain shook him out of the trance and with a grunt of a used body, he slowly got to his feet, remembering how sore he used to get on missions. And this mission had been one of the shortest he had been deployed on too... He turned to the other two snipers. "You heard the Cap. Time to get down to street level." He glanced down at street level to find the robed Master Vanagor, having dispersed or at least halted the dispute on the ground. He had to hand it to the Jedi, he was good. Probably had plenty of practice too. "Oh, and you won your first bet, Micheal. Now let us get down and help the Master before he gets made into swiss cheese" With grumbles and chuckles from the winner and loser, the two exchanged credits as Omeal quickly shouldered his rifle and in one shot, hit the floating cam droid out of the sky with a nice sized hole in it. Micheal looked up as he was counting his credits (Sauriel was already going down the stairs in a huff) "Nice shot Rook. What was that you were saying before?"

As the old-timey warrior opened the stairwell door and marched down the stairs with Micheal following behind, he only said in a far-off tone. "Oh nothing. Just a cough..." Hopefully, what really happened would not repeat itself. Who knows what could happen if it did.

The next few moments were filled with more stun blasts as more bodies, including the pirate leader for this village were dropped.

The team took a second to look around as Peyton turned, her stun batons in hand, a few deep breaths but not as many as the soldiers would expect from someone with Peyton’s size and what she had just done. The woman was clearly growing in her skills. Did she know what the skills were, no, not exactly. But they were something. She didn’t think it was too close to what a Jedi was doing, but her meditations seemed to have paid off.

“El-Tee.” One of the Rangers stated, giving her her Underground rank. “Did you even need us? No one told us you were a Jedi!”

Peyton looked over at her team and shook her head, a little bit of the color from the striking remaining on her cheeks. “Not a Jedi, just… I don’t know. Something helped me out here.” Her mind wandered back to the data had provided her.

“I’ve got some things to look into. Can you handle this from here? Are the supplies landed?”

“All good, El-Tee.”
The larger of the two Rangers said with a nod.

Training as she did, she was becoming evermore fluid at maintaining her focus on multiple Force Signatures in combat; quite simply ignoring Phalsi's for a brief moment as she listened, and focused on the drone position, essentially splitting her attention between it and the shooter. The next round fired however took her off guard, as it wasn't aimed for the pair, but directly at the drone that was pestering them. At the shot taken, she took a wild glance over her right shoulder, staring briefly into the distance, before snapping back onto her 'opponent'.

It was hard not to snicker during their banter, though a light smirk did come to her face as she stood in front of Phalsi. Why didn't she carry holo-recording equipment with her again? Though she was decent at mimicking people. There mutual bond, and the passive training that came with it had seen Aayla become quite in tune with telepathy. He was bounds better at it than she was, but she was coming along.

'You may have guests, on your way to the target. Be careful... Also, there's a p-... A Zeltronian I think? Someone pink, and female... If you see them, j-..'

Just what...

She stared over at Phalsi, the sudden conflict visible briefly in her face; given, she had certain advantages as a Shadow, she was but an initiate. Aayla did have a wide array of talents. One of them being listening when spoken too. It was the compliance aspect she needed to work on... Sufficive to say, Phalsi did just admit Yula Perl was working with these terrorists.

Not like the rest.

'Then you didn't see them...'

She would allow Phalsi that, though she had no guarantee for Yula Perl Yula Perl beyond Kadan's pending agreement to turn a blind eye. She had enough weights looming over her head within the Order. Aiding fugitive escape wouldn't do so great for her record. Which is why now that the drone was destroyed, she would regard Phalsi with a smirk.

"Your Move, 'Criminal'..."

She was still holding the single blade, noting of course Phalsi try to load a bit too much dip on her chip with that backflip. If they were still fighting then, it would be a good time to practice with new techniques. Though just as she was becoming sidetracked with the prospect of combat, there was a light wisp in her ear, as if she was reminding herself of something.

Bombs..

The whisper made her stare in bewilderment, then turn and make a sudden sprint for the stairwell. There wasn't time to waste keeping up appearances with Phalsi at the moment, she needed to back Kadan up immediately; hopefully Phalsi was content to give chase, instead of doing what would have come natural to most any Force User.

Chundrall paused as three of the displays blinked out, and they never came back on. They frowned behind their helmet, flipping on the comm within the helmet, and tried to get in touch with the ground team, namely Fetch. "I'm losing visual, what is going on?" Silence. Not good. Chundrall moved to the second channel, the hostage squad should still be in place. There was a sense of frustration bubbling up in their gut, and was feeling the smugness they once held fade. As Chundrall's voice echoed into the comm, it was rather evident that they were starting to become unhinged. "I've lost contract with Fetch, what is your situation?" There was a pause, for several seconds Chundrall held the comm, hand slightly trembling as they waited. The voice came back, one of the Weequay, though his voice sounded worried. Great. "Boss, what color are the collars supposed to be blinking?" What the hell were they on about? "Red, they should be blinking blinking red." There was another pause, this one longer. "What if they aren't blinking at all?" A sigh escaped past their lips, a hand gripping the front of the helmet, and sliding along the smooth top of the helmet.

Chundrall sighed, rising out of their chair, and removing the holodisk they had jacked into the computer, and figured it was time to get out. The Silver Fleet would be arriving soon, and with that, they'd be losing their little pirate distraction, and most importantly, their escape route. Gripping the detonator in their hand, Chundrall turned to face the window, seeing the fires burning in the street. Next time, they'd have to think bigger, be more daring. "Time to start over."

After taking in a deep breath, Chundrall pressed down on the switch, and the relay station was engulfed in flames.

Inside the city hall, the insurgents seemed uneasy, as an argument began to break out between a pair of Weequay as their comm went silent. The hostages seemed to be in a degree of distress, though it seemed that Omega squads tactic of disabling the collars was successful.

Without wasting further time, Caltin ripped open the front door and fought his way inside. There was... some resistance as those who did not already feel abandoned by Chundrall were beginning to feel like this whole thing was not worth it and already considering surrendering. They were "considering" because once the big guy busted in. all weapons were on him. This was not unexpected, as the massive Jedi Master pulled Eloha to his hand and immediately began redirecting bolts back at their destination. Caltin was not looking to kill anyone, but taking out their weapons.

There were several that immediately backed down, they were ignored by the big guy, but those who did not? Well, they were met with hooks, front kicks, and throws, and that was while Caltin was disengaging his lightsaber. Once his lightsaber was hooked to his back where it belonged when not in use, he went on a full offensive. Sure, he was drawing a lot of attention, but it was meant to like more and more of the thugs in the building not returning fire, from the sounds of it, deeper in the building were making their way down to him.

The arguing Weequay seemed to put aside their differences once they saw who was coming at them. It didn't matter as Caltin was getting more and more annoyed by the opposition the more he made his way in. Of course, what made him mad was the blaster bolt that flew centimeters by his head. At first, the big guy thought that one of the thugs missed a shot but when he saw that one of them fell, he knew that he had help, it was confirmed when a familiar voice rang in his ear.

Master Jedi, remember me? It's Sauriel of Omega Squad. Sorry to cut that shot so close, but I had no other shot.

The big guy just smiled as one Weequay was sent flying into one wall and the other, well he went through it.

Acknowledged Old friend, good shot.

... YET THE DAWN ALWAYS COMES.
