  Kadan was born on Concord Dawn into the Ordo Clan. His mother and father knew of his force abilities at a young age, but consistently time and time again berated or punished him whenever such abilities were showcased; even when he wasn't trying to. He was held up to strict standards, his father drilling him in combat drills at the age of eight, his mother showing little love for her 'malformed' son. He only found his sister to be supportive of him, though she was several years his senior, as time passed her clan responsibilities saw them see less and less of one another. His parents worked hard, trying to overcome the difficult position that their force sensitive son had placed them in, though it didn't matter how hard Kadan applied himself, he never truly found acceptance within his clan; save for with his sister Bright1 . It wasn't until the Sith attacked that he was forced into his destiny, as when the leveling of Mandalore was complete, Kadan was the only member of his family left alive. Without a clan, and at the age of eleven, he wandered the smoldering ruins of the world, narrowly avoiding death as his people turned on one another, or were slaughtered by the Sith as they came to partake in the blood shed.
  
  Rescued by a jedi operative in the wake of the worlds destruction, Kadan's force abilities saw him being recruited into the Jedi Concord, though he struggled greatly for his early years. His Mandalorian upbringing clashed with the tenants and ideas of these 'jedi', though he found a calling of sorts when it came to combat training, he could never reconcile the training or philosophies of the order. Now with war looming, and despite having no formal master, Kadan has volunteered himself for service, perhaps trying to prove to himself that he is capable.
