Aayla-Senn was discovered as a runaway from the Omega Wars, finding the order a little older than most Padawan ideally would, but hitting the ground running. The girl was projected to hit the status of Knight by at least fifteen, seventeen at the latest due to how quickly she picked up on things. Aayla is moderately skilled in Force use, and is a natural lightsaber user. That skill carries over into other edged weapons. Around her fourteenth birthday, her Master set off on a mission in Sith-Controlled space, and was never heard from again; at that point, there was a steady decline in Aayla's ethic regarding obedience. Her entire career path seeming to grind to a halt, and even at times regressing. Not due to skill, but simply a drive to better herself.

By her sixteenth birthday, Aayla became known for being a tough cookie with a saber, but also hard-headed, obnoxious, and full of contempt. These words are of course, used from the outside looking in, as her dwindling reputation made her less appealing as a potential Padawan learner. In any case, she still learned, and still excelled at what mattered, bettering herself. When she realized her Master was likely never going to return, she became somewhat reclusive (when possible) and self-sufficient. Instead of changing her appeal to attract a Master, she taught herself most of what she knows, using the archives as a case in point to further her understanding of the Force as recorded.

In the current day, Aayla is still considered a Padawan, though is respected enough to lead younglings in saber drills and the like. In a way, she turned the negative opinion of her into something to be respected, no matter the he/she say. It was what she had done, and what she could do that mattered in the end...

Most recently, she's turned her focus on learning what it takes to be a Jedi Shadow; desperate to find some personal autonomy in her actions, while also paving her own path within the Jedi, not to mention carving out a story worthy of retelling for generations to come... These plans seem to have grinded to a halt however, with the most recent advent of Bryn'Adul aggression. By no means should it be thought that they have been forgotten.

Strengths

Capable - Aayla has proven that even without proper guidance, she can learn. Amassing a healthy amount of Force Knowledge using nothing but her brain, and patience. Beyond this, she has displayed fearlessness in battle; showing she is dedicated on her path as a Jedi.

Finesse - Aayla is very skilled in Saber Combat, able to engage multiple opponents, with her quick grasp of Ataru, she has made 'leaps and bounds' in understanding the very small details that go into saber combat, able to fight in almost any position, and sometimes welcoming an off balance posture, baiting opponents into making an unwise move.

Weaknesses
When it Rains? - Aayla has felt the trauma of rejection before. Raised an orphan one, and briefly shunned within the only organization she had ever known two. As such, she tends to become reclusive if she perceives a pattern of such. An enemy that knows this vulnerability could easily make her feel isolated, and alone; Opening her up to attack, or manipulation...

Know it all - Well, contrary to her own belief, she doesn't! Though she tends to feel like she's a little more informed than most, most times this leads her to make bad calls, or causes her to jump off the rails at the slightest hints of information. That being said, while she is smart, her upbringing leads her to believe she's always a little further along than she really is.
