- Structure Name: Veradune Temple
- Classification: Jedi Temple
- Location: Veradune
- Affiliation: Silver Jedi
- Accessibility: Designed in two fold stages... with the exterior and the interior accessible from the anchorpoints which allow the temples main structures to be concealed and harder to disturb. The exterior however is importantly made and through use of dimensional engineering the area can be larger and built up more then it appears using solarite stone and a quasi sentient security system that makes the temples themselves able to react to the ones who are within shifting rooms or locking doorways if it reads darksiders and hostile intent.
- Description: Rising from the scorched earth and carved into the base of a colossal, jagged mountain, the Veredune Templeis a monumental structure that serves as a gateway to an unknown power. The temple itself is a stark, angular building of light-colored stone, its facade marked with intricate, glowing patterns that hum with ancient energy. It looks as though it's been thrust out from the mountain's core, a blend of natural ruggedness and impossible, otherworldly architecture. From the temple's entrance, a series of sprawling causeways radiate out like the spokes of a fan, each one a massive, elevated road of the same pale stone. They stretch across the barren, rocky landscape, disappearing into dust clouds and the hazy horizon. The air is thick with a fine, gritty dust, kicked up by constant, whispering winds that spiral around the temple. Patches of tough, dark green vegetation cling to the ground in the distance, a small hint of life in an otherwise desolate scene. The temple's main gate is lit by an internal, golden light that spills out onto the ground, a single point of warmth and promise in the otherwise cold, imposing scene. The entire area feels both ancient and alien, a place where the gods themselves may have once walked. It's a location that promises great secrets, incredible dangers, and a sense of scale that makes any traveler feel insignificant.
The Hall of Returned Echoes: A vast, circular chamber deep within the temple, its walls are made of a unique, darkly shimmering stone salvaged from the edge of the Netherworld rift. This hall contains no holocrons or datafiles. Instead, it is a place of absolute silence and powerful, calming energy. It is dedicated to the survivors of the crisis, a place where those who still bear the psychological scars of their torment can find peace. The Force here is carefully curated to soothe fractured minds, and it is not uncommon to see Zorren shamans meditating alongside Jedi healers here.
The Gate of the Brave: The main entrance to the temple is not just an architectural feature. carved into the immense archway is a intricate bas-relief depicting the stylized forms of Matsu, Vulpesen, and their team facing a formless wave of chaos. It is not a record of the event, but a symbolic representation of their courage. Every Jedi or visitor who enters the temple passes under this monument to disobedience in the name of compassion, setting the moral tone for the entire facility.
Clarity Gate: A gate designed at the top of the stairs going into the higher grounds. Designed to be blocked off through advanced shielding technologies controlled by the Rests collected stars... a quasi sentient spirit in the rest that keeps security measures going and works with the jedi. In this case enforcing the required meditation time and reflection that must go into the jedi to calm them down before entry to the upper areas where the masters and grandmaster are.
Kyber Arch: A reconstructed arch from the one on Coruscant that was made from the crystals of fallen jedi. A meditative technique meant to test those who were called to it.
Lecture Hall: A massive lecture hall allowing for classes to be taught by many of the jedi themselves. Those who need it can book it and the ones who want to get a class going quickly will have plenty of space as it is meant to be modular and shift to accommodate several classes at once.
Medical Hall: Advanced combination hospital, research center and lab as well as a healers hall. Able to give the jedi healers and doctors the edge over many institutions in the galaxy.
Confessional: Located in the center of the council chambers and able to be brought out for those who come before them. The confessionals weigh whoever is inside and many are crushed under the weight of their own self.
Jedi Temple Obstacle Course: Reconstructed from the main jedi temple a thing of beauty for shifting and changing. The jedi have made to it test and challenge even the grandmaster in terms of what it can do with various model droids and biot droids able to be used across it all.
Vaults: IN the main temple and hidden away, to secure dangerous artifacts in nullification resin, holocrons and anything else that might prove a danger to the jedi there. For security the temple guards are located clossest to the vaults to defend and protect them.
Cold Storage: Designed to hold jedi craft for them to use on missions and store ships recovered from enemy forces within a safer area.
Room of a Thousand Fountains: Reconstructed for the silver rest as a deep area od meditation and calmness that can wash over the ones within.
Jedi Anchorpoints: Designed to be the bridge point between the temple and the planet it is located on. The anchorpoints allow entry and exit from the temples and are in concealed locations.
Advanced Early Detection Systems: Connected to monitors across the planet, in orbit and using the Saotome Monitoring Stations as a means to map the system. Able to give them information as soon as it is alerted by the Saotome Planetary Defensive Network.
Solarite Nexi: Created from the vergence created in the temple and stoked by the living Silver Solarite Stone and Choushin Uneti that has been transplanted to the heart of the temple itself from the main source. It creates a living sensation within the temple giving it a life pulse that grows and extends to the perimeter of the stone.
Kaho Class Beacons: Force beacons designed to be used by the jedi in the event of communications disruption and attack. Older looking to give the feeling of pre-hyperdrive satellites.

- Size: Medium
- Strength: Strong
- Accessibility: Felt as soon as one enters the area of the temple. THe proximity to the solarite stones and their construction enclosing the temple.
- Description: Created from several factors, the living stone that has been used to rebuild and construct the temples... the choushin uneti tree that serves as the heart and the artificial intelligence that is able to be used by the temple. The nexi created are vergences that are in the locations, weaker or in the beginnings of their strength from use of the area by the jedi. With the living stone acting like a perimeter and the uneti working to stoke it from a small ember to a flame. The nexi isn't all powerful generally just fractionally stronger then it was before and able to enhance or lessen the strain of force users within it.
Heavily in tune with the lightside of the force and empowering lightsiders minorly.... it will make them calmer, less stressed and ease mental or physical fatigue while darksiders will feel like they are moving underwater or in syrup.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Veredune Temple is not merely a place of learning; it is a planet's payment of a debt, a monument to a king's desperation, and a testament to a master's rebellion. Its foundations are literally built upon the gratitude of billions saved from an eternity of torment.
The Netherworld Crisis and the Lost: During the cataclysm, Veradune was not just scarred it was mutilated. A massive rift tore open in the sky over the capital, not unleashing an invasion, but consuming one. Over half the planet's Zorren population, billions of souls, were ripped from the surface and pulled into the chaos of the Netherworld. The planet's spirit was shattered, its people plunged into a grief so profound it threatened to extinguish all remaining life. King Vulpesen, a former Jedi who had renounced his path to rule his people, was powerless. His every instinct, every fiber of his being forged in the Jedi Code, screamed to act, but the might of his kingdom was useless against this metaphysical horror.
The King's Plea and the master's Gambit: In his darkest hour, Vulpesen made a desperate call to the one person he believed had the power and the will to do what he could not: Matsu Ike. He did not ask for an army or a temple; he asked her to help him rescue his people. Against the direct orders of her the remaining Council, who deemed the mission too dangerous and the risk of a Netherworld incursion too great, Matsu agreed. This was not a strategic decision; it was a moral one. In a feat that would become legend, Matsu, Vulpesen, and a handpicked team of loyalists spearheaded a perilous counter-incursion into the Netherworld itself. The details of that rescue are a blurred tapestry of horror and heroism, known only to the survivors. But they succeeded. Against all odds, they wrestled billions of souls from the grasp of chaos and returned them to their broken world.
The Pact of Gratitude and Stone: The Zorren people are insular and proud, but their culture is built on an unshakable foundation of honor and debt. The returned Zorren saw Matsu not as an off-worlder, but as "She-Who-Walked-In-Hell", their literal savior. When she proposed building a temple to serve as a bastion against future threats and, crucially, as a planetary-scale terraforming engine to heal their world, there was no debate. The people and king agreed and unanimously granted her the sacred stone of Mount Vheret. As well as the land for her causeways. This was not a negotiation; it was a gift. They were not building a foreign outpost; they were building a sanctuary for their savior and a beacon of hope to ensure such a tragedy could never happen again. The temple's living sentience, born from the Choushin Uneti tree and the planet's wounded vergence, is seen by the Zorren as the embodiment of their returned collective spirit a spirit given a home and a voice by Matsu.
The Veredune Temple stands as the first and only such structure on Veradune because only Matsu Ike could have earned the right to build it. It is a permanent, physical reminder of the day their king and a Jedi Grandmaster defied fate to bring them home.
