- Size: Massive in size, comparable to having a heavy cruise on the surface. Loaded with weapons and defenses... the Siege platform is meant to be brought to the forefront of a conflict and set up giving unrivaled support.
- Advanced Systems: Designed with several notable systems installed on the shipsto improve their capabilities and turn the jedi into a needed operational fighter.
- Laminanium: Designed like a Quellian ship the hull of the orbital platforms has a thin layer of the material to improve repairs and over time depending on the amount of damage it is able to patch itself up.
- Hanger Bay: Designed as a massive land based platform with a vehicle and Hanger Bay built into the ship allowing it access to fighters, support craft and vehicle.
- Sleg: A powerful energy enhancer, the sleg absorbs and channels the excessive heat generated by the chassis of the speeder. Making them maintain a stronger level of power but also increases the chances that they could explode from the heat.
- Built in power source: Designed with its own internal power source that is long lasting but it is largely able to power the armor and systems of the vehicle but when damaged it is highly explosive.
- Gravity: The advanced thrusters of the vehicle require gravity to function at full efficiency. Without it there can't counter gravity to get speed or thrust for the high speed movement.
- Self Repairing: Built with a protective layer to patch the vehicle in the event of damage. The time table is dependent upon the amount of damage with smaller tears being easier and faster to repair then gashes which can take hours to reform.
- Note: Only the layer can repair not the full plate armor itself the plating can be damaged still but the underlayer of Laminanium can reform and remain.
There is not much history behind the Orchid platforms, they were made in response to the constant attacks on the planet and loaded with heavy weapons and shielding to strike at landing armies. The orchid is big meant to tower over most forces, heavily gunned and slow moving with a rotating cannon that will punch a massive hole through anything coming at it. Loaded with sensors to detech infantry, vehicles and ship movements even spatial anomalies as was shown possible at the battle of Atrisia. The orchid defensive platforms have been placed for maximum coverage along the defensive walls of the cities that have been under construction and for future locations.
Another layer meant to help defend the planet in the event of attack. The ability for the platform itself to move if needed and relocate along the walls or within a city was one important feature to make it slightly harder as a target. The soldiers and or civilians it can carry and protect from bombardment and attack in the event of another force storm being unleashed was also an important decision of the platforms design. The last big thing was working on the reactor itself of it, dangerous with sleg but proving to be one of the more effective for getting high outputs of energy and power for handling the excessive weapons built into the platform and running the systems.
With improvements to the platforms they have become something far superior in protecting many of the cities of Atrisia. They have developed the weapons p[laforms into a powerful tool that works with many of the droids and soldiers... enabling them to protect while searching across the great walls of Atrisia itself. With improved cannons on the droids they are designed to be able to move around and have a full range of targeting solutions. The advances of artificial intelligence and improvement of their biots have also worked to grow and make the droid platforms more oganic in nature and they can be grown as well as constructed from shells to be deployed across worlds being able to gather their own materials. Increased production also meant they would be able to deploy more across Atrisia and its worlds to improve defensive measures.
