Yularen Nova
FOR LIGHT AND LIFE

A Rebel News Network camera crew huddled together tightly in a civilian craft, their holocams running on their third set of batteries. A shadow fell over the small charter freighter, blocking the camera droid's view. Corellia and Duro were making a statement. There were six state of the art battlecruisers, the entirety of the Corellian Defense Force's command line, dozens of smaller cruisers, frigates, and corvettes flying in escort. Duro was here too, their strange verticle "star defenders" flying towards the same place as the Corellian ships...
"This is Jenna with Rebel News Network, and quite frankly, the sheer number of vessels here is astonishing. Though Corellia claims these weapons of war are for the protection of their sector and space, when one really sees the amount of weapons they harbor behind the shine of their 'Great Green Jewel' it makes you wonder. What if Byss was your home? What if tomorrow they decided to turn their armada on Jakku or Alderaan? We are past the point of escalation now. All we can hope is that the Alliance steps in and resolves this peacefully, and quickly, or we will likely have a Civil War on our hands."
Task Force Alpha
Aboard the Siren of Titan
The blockade had been enacted several hours ago. The fleet of new battlecruisers along with their support ships, escorts, and interdictors had all fell into place at important and frequently used hyperspace lane egress points. Main roads and backroads were cut off, eliminating trade and reinforcements who were out on patrol when the surprise attack began. Yularen Nova, Diktat of Corellia, was not a man to let others fight his battles for him. He attained this role due to his military service as well as his political connections and while politics had never truly been his strong suit, the art of war was something he was intimately familiar with.
His yellow eyes fell on his view of the planet that would heed this coalition's demands or be starved until they did. The other points into the sector had been easily taken, smaller task forces able to hold their positions. Byss itself though...It was a wild card. Even before they came sensor sweeps came up empty, but he knew that wasn't the case. He could see defense platforms in the distance now as they approached. The Siren was accompanied by one of her sister ships, the Integrity of Purpose, both with their respective support ships and escorts. Alongside the Corellians the Duros were here too. The fighting, should it break out, would be thickest here and they had agreed it imperative to hold the system at all costs.
The only way into the system as it stood was the Byss Run. Already a dangerous route it would soon be made inoperable, at least hypothetically. There were always the secret, ancient Imperial Routes, but he suspected both Sularen and the Alliance knew those. They'd have to keep watch for surprise attacks, and if the Alliance intervened...Well. They'd cross that bridge when they got to it.
"Sir, Byss System defense platforms are in holo range."
"Patch me in." The tech nodded and turned a dial on his console before Yularen was scanned and his image beamed across Byss space. He cleared his throat and gave his antennae a flex. "I am Yularen Nova. Diktat of Corellia and Absolute Commander of the Corellian Defense Force. Alongside us are the Duro Defense Force. We have come for your leader,
