  • Operator Choice: The Bulwark offers its owner the ability to choose between having two organic crewmen operate it physically from within, a droid pilot brain to operate it, or even to have organic personnel operate it remotely, allowing the ingenuity and trained expertise of crewmen to be effective without ever putting their lives in danger. The vehicle's ECM suite exists to ensure that any connection between command and the vehicle is not disrupted in the latter case.
  • Defensive Capabilities: Kitted out to the brim with a variety of physical armor defenses, as well as missile countermeasure systems and sensor-jamming stealth systems to keep it hidden from any would-be attackers. To call the Bulwark durable would be an understatement, able to not only actively defend itself from incoming threats, but also to ensure those threats cannot uncover it in the first place and withstand any hits if it is ever located.
  • Sensors: "Control the Battlefield" is not only some cheesy corporate slogan, in the case of the Bulwark it has basis in reality. Through a series of sensors acting alongside information relayed to the vehicle via infantry forces in the field or reconnaissance in the air, the Bulwark in a most optimal scenario will know close to everything that is going on in the combat zone it has been assigned to. As well as being able to detect any enemies that may be coming too close to comfort, sneaking up on a Bulwark is harder than you'd think.
  • Payload: The vehicle's two VMAT-551 missile platforms quite literally double the combat effectiveness of the platform when on its own, granting the Bulwark the ability to launch forty-eight destructive long-range missiles, whether it be at aerial targets or targets on land from a great distance away. In a single round of firing which can take less than a minute, immense damage can be wrought against enemy targets.

  • Reloading: Due to the layout of the VMAT-551 platforms located along its back, the Bulwark is unable to autoload new missiles into their launch tubes once the initial salvo has been spent. Thus physical loaders are required if the operators wish to continue their attacks, although forty-eight missiles is a lot, they will still run out eventually and some have said this negates the advantage of the vehicle's remote control and droid brain options.
  • Bulky: Slow and hard to manoeuvre, the Bulwark is not designed to be an agile, fast-moving vehicle needless to say. In the event it is found by enemy forces, it would be hard-pressed to make a quick getaway most of the time and it is generally advised upon purchase that the vehicle remain far behind the frontlines, where it is best suited. Though able to cross rough terrain due to its powerful wheels, it will take a longer time than most to get to wherever its going.

Manufactured and licensed under the name 'Bulwark', the VH-550 Mobile Launch Vehicle, sometimes known as the MLV 550 is a multipurpose rocket artillery and air defense vehicle developed and produced by Nakaioma Defense Dynamics. Its name a reference to a powerful defensive barrier where none can pass, the Bulwark is designed to function as just that, a commonly pushed message in the vehicle's advertising stating that wherever the Bulwark is positioned, that is where your new border is. Built to manoeuvre the VMAT-551 'Predator' Missile Platform around a combat zone, the Bulwark more than makes up for its lacking in manoeuvrability and speed in the devastating armaments it carries with its two missile launchers installed onto its back.

Designed to directly interface with the Predator missile platforms, the Bulwark comes equipped with a sophisticated in-built drone network that allows remote control access by authorized operators from vast distances. Meaning that the vehicle does not require a physical crew within it in-order to drive or even fire its weapons, as it can all be done via computer elsewhere. Of course this requires a stable communications network to have been established in the area, although the vehicle does maintain a complex electronic countermeasures suite, ensuring that enemy forces cannot hijack or sever the connection, the option to insert a droid pilot brain is also available to clients. To allow any potential operators of the Bulwark the option of negating this possible disadvantage, the VH-550 has also been designed with an interior for crewmen to sit and physically operate the vehicle, requiring only two crewmen, a driver and a gunner, as the vehicle's innovative communications system allows easy flow of information between the two, their fellow combat units and their commander.

Capable of launching forty-eight missiles within the span of under a minute, the Bulwark can saturate a wide area of any battlefield with a barrage of devastating new-generation conventional missiles, while the Bulwark's own advanced guidance system which connects directly with the Predator launch platforms, allows them to turn their eyes to the sky, ensuring that not even enemy aircraft or incoming rockets are safe from the vehicle's all-seeing gaze, another one of its dramatic advertising slogans would be "Control the Battlefield" for this very reason. Built from a alusteel-quadanium composite armor, the Bulwark itself is an incredibly resliant and durable vehicle, able to withstand a few hits from energy and kinetic weaponry, giving the crew at the very least minimum time to safely vacate the vehicle, or drive it out of harm's way entirely if possible. Released as part of Nakaioma Defense Dynamics "NewGenArmor" line-up of products, it has been advertised highly towards large-scale corporate paramilitary and national military clientele in hopes of receiving a large order for the vehicle. Elsewhere it has been purchased in moderate numbers by Nakaioma Security Services and is now an available vehicle for clients to hire when enlisting the company's services.
