  • Battle Tank: Boasting a powerful array of offensive and defensive capabilities, armor and shielding, the VH-140 Goliath is an effective and intimidating all-purpose main battle tank. Capable of defending itself from incoming energy and kinetic projectiles, while also dishing out extensive damage via its primary electrothermal cannon, automated antipersonnel turrets and long range concussion missile launchers, it is an all-round combat efficient and mighty tank.
  • Galactic Wide: Making use of repulsorlift technology, the VH-140 Goliath is not restricted by the constraints of tracked or wheeled vehicles, and can essentially be deployed to any environment on any world. Benefitting from various life support systems, chemical and biological protection and pressure sealing for the crew inside, it can even be stationed in the most toxic environments possible, or combat zones with no breathable air at all.

  • Manoeuvrability: Due to its heavy weight, the Goliath puts an additional strain on its repulsorlift modules, making it not the most agile or speedy tank in the field. It will take a slightly longer time than other vehicles to turn, accelerate and reach its top speed. This has proven to be an issue in certain dynamic combat areas where such things are required in urgent situations.

The VH-140 Goliath Main Battle Tank, though also titled the VH-140 Goliath Repulsortank in a number of advertisements and other documents; is as the name implies a general-purpose main battle tank designed and developed by Nakaioma Land Systems; the heavy vehicles division of Nakaioma Defense Dynamics, and manufactured by Nakaioma Weapons Manufacturing, another one of the large defense contractor's subdivisions. Built to be used by both Nakaioma Security Services, as well as to be exported to clients throughout the galaxy, the Goliath was intended from the beginning to be a universally useful heavy vehicle, capable of being deployed into any environment and used for any purpose. Covered in several layers of thick, durable armor composite plating, and supported behind that by a larger number of support structures, the Goliath was designed with internal component and crew safety in mind, granting a degree of protection to its plasma ammunition holds, used to launch projectiles from its electrothermal cannon. The vehicle's particularly noticeable minesweeper located at the front was installed in the second variation of the model during the prototyping phase, after concerns on unconventional warfare reliability were raised.

Two fully automated-- though manually overridable-- blaster cannons at the top of the Goliath's main turret interface with the vehicle's plethora of scanning and sensory equipment to identify and eliminate infantry and light vehicle targets within the tank's vicinity. While it's two concussion missile launchers, near the Goliath's rear-end are utilized for targets beyond visible range, the primary cannon, the 130mm Electrothermal is aided by advanced targeting computers, and stabilized in firing by in-built shock absorbers to ensure a high degree of accuracy when engaging a target from most ranges. Though fully capable of being operated entirely by a droid brain, the Goliath was largely designed with organic crewmates in mind, as field tests indicated that the vehicle would operate with a higher degree of battlefield efficiency with the added element of sentient ingenuity. As such it has a wide variety of life support systems, allowing it to operate in chemically saturated, or atmosphere-lacking environments, and the tank's bioconversion generator enables it to break down and convert any natural substance into a usable fuel. Secured from electromagnetic or ion weaponry by both shielding, ECM and electromag defense units, the tank maintains no physical view ports, instead relying on an interior smartscreen, which relays live, high definition visuals from sensors on the exterior of the vehicle to the driver on the interior.
