Well-Known Viceroy
Overview
The Crimson Nova Chapter is an elite, specialized division within the legendary Bounty Hunters' Guild. While the Guild handles all manner of bounties across the galaxy, Crimson Nova exists for one deadly purpose: hunting, capturing, and eliminating Force sensitives such as Jedi, Sith, Nightsisters, rogue adepts, and any who wield the mystical energy field known as the Force.Feared and respected in equal measure, Crimson Nova hunters are experts in anti-Force tactics, technological countermeasures, and relentless pursuit. They turn the Jedi and Sith's own strengths against them using ysalamiri, cortosis weaponry, disruptors, and overwhelming numbers to level the playing field.
Whether the contract comes from a vengeful warlord, a shadowy syndicate, or a government seeking to purge Force-users, Crimson Nova delivers results where others fail.
History
The Crimson Nova Chapter has existed for centuries as one of the most specialized and enduring branches of the Bounty Hunters' Guild. Born during a turbulent period when Force-users wielded immense power across the galaxy, the chapter carved out its reputation by accepting the most dangerous contracts those involving Jedi, Sith, and other sensitives that most hunters wisely avoided. From their fortified headquarters known as The Rig, hidden within the treacherous reaches of the Stenness Node, Crimson Nova developed cutting-edge techniques and technology to counter the Force. Over the generations, the chapter has risen and fallen multiple times dismantled by powerful enemies only to reform stronger under new leadership.
They have survived galactic wars, Jedi purges, Sith ascensions, and long periods of uneasy peace, always adapting to the shifting balance of the Force in the galaxy. Even after nearly nine centuries, the Crimson Nova name still strikes fear into those who rely on the Force rather than skill, preparation, and cold steel.

- Links: SyntheTek Institute | The Trade Federation |:| 900 ABY | Raquor-daan | Shrikarai
- Name: Raqour-Shrikarai
- Designation: Non-Sentient
- Origins: SyntheTek Laboratory
- Average Lifespan: 20–35 standard years (maturity reached at 3–4 years)
- Estimated Population: Rare (Very small numbers found in scattered, isolated locations around the galaxy)
- Description: Raquor Shrikarai are rare genetically engineered hybrids that merge the venomous nocturnal predation of Raquor-daan dark wolves with the Force-devouring hunger of Shrikarai. Large, quadrupedal wolf-like predators with purple-black fur over scaled hides, crystalline spinal spikes, glowing eyes, and a long segmented scorpion-like tail ending in a stinger laced with Rhak-skuri toxins, they are lethal hunters that induce hallucinations and Force disconnection in sensitive individuals while delivering paralytic venom through claws and tail.
- Breathes: Type I and Type II Atmosphere
- Average Height of Adults: 1.1–1.4 meters at the shoulder
- Average Length of Adults: 2.5–3.2 meters (nose to tail tip)
- Skin color: Dark purple-gray scaled underbelly and limbs with bioluminescent accents
- Hair color: Thick, shaggy purple-black fur with crimson highlights along the mane and spine
- Distinctions:
The most striking feature is a long, segmented, scorpion-like tail ending in a bulbous stinger capable of delivering potent paralytic venom. Claws on broad paws also carry a weakening toxin. Thick leathery armor protects the shoulders and upper back. Males are larger with more pronounced spikes and thicker manes; females are slightly sleeker with longer tendrils.
Juveniles have softer fur and shorter tails that harden with age. Older specimens show faded bioluminescence, scarred hides, and dulled spikes. Regional variants are minimal, though those in arid environments trend darker while volcanic populations display stronger crimson tones.
- Races: None
- Force Sensitivity: Non-Sensitive (no members of the species are FS)
Strengths:
- Force-Blanketing Terror:
- The Shrikarai lineage gives the hybrid an innate ability to overwhelm Force-sensitives through proximity, causing dread, hallucinations, and a collapse in the victim's connection to the Force. In practical terms, it is exceptionally dangerous to Jedi, Sith, and other Force users.
- Venomous Pursuit:
- From the Raquor'daan side, the hybrid inherits poison-inflicting claws and a stinger-tipped tail. This makes it dangerous even when it misses a killing blow, since a single wound can slow, cripple, or panic prey long enough for a finishing strike.
- Night-Hunter Adaptation:
- The creature is naturally suited to low light, ambush terrain, and long pursuit across hostile ground, reflecting the Raquor'daan's nocturnal predator profile.
- Off-World Instability:
- The Shrikarai are known to become maddened and monstrous when taken away from Sophros, so the hybrid requires strict environmental control and conditioning when taken away from their claimed territory. Without it, aggression, feeding fixation, and behavioral collapse can become severe.
- Tail Liability:
- The Raquor'daan's thick hide exists specifically to protect it from its own venomous tail, which means damage to the tail base, shoulders, or upper back can leave the creature exposed to self-injury and reduce its combat effectiveness.
- Anti-Force Hunger:
- Because the Shrikarai feed on the Living Force, a specimen deprived of appropriate targets may become increasingly erratic, fixated, and difficult to restrain over time.
- Diet: Carnivore.
- They primarily hunt warm-blooded prey but show an overwhelming hunger for Force-sensitive beings, draining their Living Force connection. Fresh kills are preferred; scavenging is rare. Poisonous to them: certain synthetic sedatives and light-side aligned flora that interfere with their venom metabolism.
- Communication:
- Low growls, menacing howls, tail rattling, and body posturing (spike raising, tendril waving, ear positioning). No spoken language or telepathy.
- Technology level: None (non-sentient animals)
- Religion/Beliefs: None
- General behavior:
They show no interest in building or inventing but excel at tracking and ambush tactics. Once bonded through strength or early imprinting, they can serve as fiercely loyal yet volatile companions to powerful handlers, making them rare and highly sought-after living weapons for crime lords, bounty hunters, and dark-side factions.
The Raquor Shrikarai was developed by the SyntheTek Institute as a deliberate hybrid weapon for the 900 ABY era, with funding supplied by the Trade Federation of Planets. Its design merged two proven predatory archetypes: the Raquor'daan, a nocturnal Sriluurian canid known for poison claws, a stinger-tipped tail, and hard protective hide, and the Shrikarai, also known as the Nameless, a force-feeding predator from Sophros whose presence can induce madness, hallucinations, and eventual petrification or death in Force-sensitive victims.
The Raquor'daan were historically used by Weequay beastmasters and warbands, while the Shrikarai became infamous in the High Republic era as weapons against Force-users. SyntheTek's intent was to create a controllable, deniable anti-Force predator that could operate in hostile environments, break enemy morale, and survive close-quarters combat.
Early trials reportedly required extensive environmental restraint, because the Shrikarai component became dangerously unstable when deprived of a proper feeding-and-containment cycle, while the Raquor'daan anatomy had to be preserved well enough to retain its venom delivery and armored back-line protection.
The result was a hybrid that is less a domesticated beast and more a managed catastrophe, suitable for use only by organizations willing to accept a creature that can terrify allies almost as effectively as enemies.

There is no reason to fear, I'm just a humble agent or am I?
Raised in the harsh training enclaves attached to Trade Federation security outposts, Revvi learned early that usefulness was the only currency that mattered. Those who faltered were quietly reassigned or culled from the program.
Her body was honed for combat, her mind sharpened for infiltration, and her will forged into something colder and more reliable than any droid. By her late teens she had already survived live-fire exercises, psychological stress tests, and loyalty purges that broke entire batches of her siblings. She emerged not just intact, but exceptional.
The First Order noticed.
As the Order's influence quietly expanded near Zakuul, recruiters saw in the Temerurian program exactly what thy needed. Agents who could operate for years behind enemy lines without cracking under pressure or turning. Revvi was among the first wave accepted into the Order's growing intelligence apparatus. She swore her oath not with passion, but with the calm certainty of a weapon being slotted into its rightful place.
The First Order gave her purpose beyond the laboratory; she gave them unflinching service or had she....

STRENGTHS
- Hold Fire, for Maximum Effect >
- The XXG-P102 represents the latest iteration of AT-AT Walker Designs, boasting an array of powerful weapon systems strategically positioned across its hull. At the heart of this formidable machine lies the MagaCaliber Six Heavy Turbolaser, serving as the centerpiece. Its purpose is to effortlessly demolish fortifications and present a formidable obstacle to adversary walkers.
- Extensive Shielding Systems >
- To ensure survival in combat against an opponent on the battlefield, the XXG-P102 is equipped with the cutting-edge XX4-LL33 Deflector Shield System Array. Developed by the InterGalactic Technology Union, this shield design represents the pinnacle of deflector shield technology, capable of withstanding substantial frontal damage while maintaining operational efficiency. In the event of a failure of the XX4-LL33, a backup shield generator unit is installed, albeit with slightly less durability compared to the latest generation model.
- Impressive Stability >
- To support the MegaCaliber Six Heavy Turbolaser's weight, the front legs have been reinforced and adjusted for stability to avoid tipping caused by harpoon cables famously employed by the Rebel Alliance during the Battle of Hoth.
- We've Lost Our Command Center >
- Despite the numerous enhancements made to the AT-AT Design, the central command bridge remains the sole operational hub for the entire combat walker. Responsible for directing the combat strategies and movements on the battlefield. However, if a formidable adversary manages to concentrate enough firepower to breach the shielding modules, the command center will be obliterated, rendering the walker inoperable.
- The Enemy is Beyond Our Reach >
- The XXG-P102, being an exceptionally massive and weighty combat walker, experiences a significant reduction in overall speed and mobility, rendering it susceptible to concentrated heavy firepower.
- Stability with no Legs >
- In the event that the enemy manages to break through one of the front legs, the XXG-P102 combat walker will collapse due to the weight distribution being focused on the leg structure, despite the additional reinforcements.
Throughout the Galactic Empire's reign, the AT-AT Walker reigned supreme as the most potent vehicle in the Emperor's arsenal, striking fear into the Rebel Alliance.
The Battle of Hoth exposed its weaknesses as the Rebel Alliance utilized harpoon cables to bring down the walkers. Despite these flaws, the Imperial war machine persisted in manufacturing these infamous walking artillery units, creating multiple variations until the Empire's collapse into fragmented warlord states.
Entering 902 ABY in the Current Chaos Era, with the advent of more and more powerful combat walkers and tanks, the idea to harken back to the AT-AT Design Principles were considered paramount to the Vehicle Manufacturer Nen-Cavron, a subsidiary of the InterGalactic Technology Union, a subsidiary of the Trade Federation of Planets.
Thus the XXG-P102 was developed and produced for general sale on the galactic market, although more recently such terrifying vehicles have been spotted amongst the Imperial Arsenal of the Dark Empire.
