Where the Vanto-class Escort Carrier allows for a rapid deployment of starfighters in naval engagements, the Veers-class Star Galleon is the variant utilized for space to ground assault. Replacing a vast majority of its hangar compliment and inbuilt TIE racks for support craft and ground total capacity for needed ground vehicles the Veers gains a more stalwart redundant shielding system and thicker hull to protect it on its descent while still able to utilize a small starfighter compliment for either close air support or escort. All in all the Veers is adept in transporting large compliments of ground based war fighting implements, be they vehicles or onboard infantry planet side for larger strategic scale conflicts.
