SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Exchanging Parts: The Scrapper Class Battle Droid is able to be extensively modified with all kinds of different parts and will operate with them like they have been programmed for it.
  • Elemental Resistance: The Scrapper Class Battle Droid is able to survive in all kinds of elemental conditions that will not effect its combat capabilities.
  • More than one Model: The Scrapper-Class Battle Droid is able to be turned into all kinds of different models that can be used for different purposes; construction; scout; assault; and many more that can save money for the faction using them.
STRENGTHS
  • Elemental Resistance: The Scrapper-Class Battle Droid is designed to operate in all kinds of environments without them slowing down its combat function. This better allows them to be used on all planets and battlefields without heavy limitations
  • Many Models: The Scrapper-Class Battle Droid has many different variants to the standard unit; that allows it to fulfill a variety of different roles on the battlefield. Saving money from having to train organic forces in those roles. While also allowing the choice to be able to pick and choose which units are deployed on the battlefield; while saving the rest of the variants for other battles that are ahead.
  • Mass Production: The Scrapper-Class Battle Droid is extremely cheap to produce and upgrade; allowing the company or faction to save money from having to buy equipment for organic soldiers. This also allows them to mobilize an army extremely quicky in the event of an invasion or to reinforce another battlefield.
  • Strength in Numbers: The Scrapper-Class Battle Droid is particularly programmed to engage in swarm attacks against an enemy fortification or line. Allowing the enemy to be overwhelmed or serve as a distraction for well rounded troops to withdraw or engage in other areas of the siege.
WEAKNESSES
  • Heavy Firepower: The Scrapper-Class Battle Droid isn't designed to engage with heavy weaponry and many of them will be destroyed during their attempt to overwhelm their opponent with swarm tactics as per their primary programming dictacts. Although cheap to reproduce; the outcome of the battle will generally go in the favor of the enemy if a majority of them are destroyed by heavy weaponry.
  • Vulnerable to Force Users: The Scrapper-Class Battle Droid wasn't designed to engage with force users of any calibration on their own. They are very weak to both lightsabers and the force making them unsuited for engaging with these types of warriors on the battlefield. Although they will engage if they are following the designed swarm tactics per their programming.
  • Lack of Independence: The Scrapper-Class Battle Droid was designed to follow its programming to the letter. And this can have problems on the battlefield; as they lack the independence to make formulated battle strategies that are outside of the box or creative in any way. Only the Scrapper Series Special Function Droids have semi-intelligence to better allow them to fill their roles.
DESCRIPTION
The Scrapper-Class Battle Droid and its Variants are the concept thought of by the Head of the Mancheron Kajidic; Paranoda Mancheron Boggurobb. Taking inspiration from the B1-Battle Droid Units of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Skytrooper of the Empire of Zakuul; while also looking to other specialized variants of droids that the galaxy has fielded. The First Standard Scrapper Battle Droid was put into production using a simple and cheap frame and given a standard blaster rifle. Naturally; this design wasn't as effective in combat as the finished mass production line but it did well against militia and other none combat groups. The First Standard Model was put into mass production after a round of redesign and testing that showed that the droid was a more improved version of the B1-Battle Droid Unit; and could be upgraded like those confederacy units into more variants and thrown onto the battlefield in swarm tactics to overwhelm the enemy with sheer numbers and firepower. Due in part to the mass production side of things; the scrapper battle droid only has simple programming to follow a set number of predictable tactics that were fielded by the galaxy's armies at the time. The First Batch of Scrappers from the Ancient Skytrooper Factory on Darvannis; was pressed into service to police the settlement of Oasis City and the Palace of Paranoda the Hutt; who resides there as Head of the Mancheron Kajidic. An unfortunate failure to protect Paranoda from an assassination attempt by a rival hutt cartel on the planet, lead to the creation of the Scrapper Series Special Function Droids by Paranoda and the Mancheron Kajidic; these special variants have semi-intelligence to better allow them to understand basic orders and then pass them along to the rest of the droids instead of having to be issued orders through a comlink from their superiors. Once the Scrapper Series Standard Unit and its first variants were finished production; they would be sent away from Darvannis and stationed on Nar Shaddaa and Nal Hutta to serve in the Hutt Palaces as Cheap but Effective Combat Droids until the tame came when the Hutt Republic needed a massed produce combat droid that can mix well with both infantry and vehicles. They preform decent enough against infantry and stationary fortifications; but are vulnerable to force users and heavy vehicles; along with fast infantry units. Some limitations to this model is that it will easily get destroyed by things with heavy firepower on them; such as hover tanks and heavy infantry; but can overcome this limitation with swarm tactics designed to overwhelm the enemy with sheer numbers until they fall. Due to cheapness; their processor onlys has basic programming that follows predictable tactics used by other armies. Overall these units are standard for a battle droid model; but can be effective in the hands of a right commander or faction that knows how to use their limitations to there advantage and overcome them to create a deadly army of cheap droids.
