Developed as part of the fleet armament fufillment contract between select subsidiaries within the Trade Federation and the NIO, the Vanto-class Escort Carrier is a much needed compliment to the New Imperial Armada which had seen its initial conflicts with the Sith Empire rely on ships of a smaller or larger class, the Vanto is a good fit between to allow for a full starfighter wing's rapid deployment into the fray of battle. A much needed advantage in dueling with fleets able to counter New Imperial formations with starfighter swarms of far more numerous larger vessels.
