OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
- Intent: To create a playable Imperial splinter faction for story-driven RP within the Five Points System. The Remnant serves as a decadent, semi-competent Imperial successor state that survives through political maneuvering, Trade Federation patronage, and surprisingly advanced military hardware.

Organization Name: Mimkin's Imperial Remnant
- Classification: Imperial Splinter Faction
- Affiliation: Warlord Vortigern Mimkin, The Final Dawn
- Organization Symbol: ----------------- >
- Description: Mimkin's Imperial Remnant is a minor but surprisingly resilient Imperial successor state that emerged from the ashes of the Dark Empire following the fall of Emperor Solipsis's second galactic regime. Centered in the Five Points System and ruled from the city-planet of Uchinao, the Remnant is less a fanatical continuation of Imperialism within the galaxy and more a personal fiefdom of the flamboyant and largely incompetent Warlord Vortigern Mimkin.
- Headquarters: Planet of Uchinao, Five Points System
- Domain: The Remnant maintains de-facto control over much of the Five Points System, though its grip is strongest on Uchinao and several strategically located former Tarkin Initiative outposts. They exert influence through a mix of military presence, smuggling networks, and economic agreements with the Trade Federation under Viceroy Lodd Grimmin . The local populace is generally compliant, many benefit from the jobs, protection rackets, and black-market economy the Remnant supports though there is quiet resentment among those who remember governance before Imperial rule.

- Hierarchy:
- Mimkin sits at the absolute top as The Most Bountiful Warlord of the Five Points System. Below him is a traditional Imperial-style chain of command, Admirals, Generals, Moffs, etc., though advancement is heavily influenced by personal loyalty to Mimkin and willingness to let him take credit for successes. Competent tactical officers and administrators form the true backbone of the organization.
- Membership:
- Roughly 180,000–250,000 active personnel and support staff, including fleet crews, ground forces, administrators, and affiliated mercenaries. New members are typically recruited from Imperial remnant loyalists, local system recruits, ex-smugglers, and mercenaries. Stormtrooper recruits undergo standard Imperial training with added emphasis on loyalty to the Warlord. Officers are often promoted from within or bought in with connections.
- Climate:
- Decadent and patronage-driven. Officers and favored personnel enjoy a luxurious lifestyle on Uchinao. The atmosphere is a mix of Imperial pomp, smuggling underworld vibes, and corporate excess. Incompetence is overlooked if one flatters Mimkin; actual competence is quietly respected among peers. Backstabbing is common but usually non-lethal unless it threatens the Warlord's rule.
- Reputation:
- Viewed by outsiders as a relatively soft Imperial remnant, flashy, corrupt, and more interested in profit than galactic domination. Neighboring powers see them as opportunistic survivors rather than true threats, though their modern fleet makes them dangerous in a straight fight. Locals consider them preferable to total anarchy but far from benevolent.
- Curios:

|
All regular stormtroopers are required to receive a tattoo of the Remnant's sigil on the back of their right or left hand. Officers are gifted a custom stone ring etched with the Warlord's personal sigil a variation of typical Imperial Remnant emblems, serving as both status symbol and sign of favor. Losing or damaging the ring is considered a grave dishonor.
- Rules:
- Loyalty to Warlord Mimkin above all. The organization pays lip service to classic Imperial doctrines but operates more as a pragmatic feudal enterprise. Betrayal of the Remnant or direct undermining of Mimkin's authority is punished severely.
- Goals:
- Short Term:
- Maintain control of the Five Points System and continue profiting from Trade Federation partnerships.
- Long Term:
- Expand influence through careful diplomacy and selective military action, grow personal wealth and prestige for Mimkin, and position the Remnant as a stable Imperial successor state that can weather future galactic upheavals.
- Short Term:
Warlord
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Following the collapse of the Dark Empire, Mimkin retreated with a loyal contingent of ships and personnel to the Five Points System. Declaring himself Warlord, he established the Mimkin's Imperial Remnant on the city-planet of Uchinao.
Leveraging old smuggling contacts and striking favorable deals with the reformed Trade Federation, Mimkin secured the resources necessary to maintain a functioning state though they were forced to bend the knee to the reformed The Galactic Empire due to them controlling the Imperial Capital of Coruscant.
While Mimkin spends most of his time enjoying the luxuries of planetary rule and claiming grand victories after the fall of the Galactic Empire in the Core by the Sith Covenant, his officers and the Remnant's advanced fleet have managed to keep the faction relevant.
The Remnant now stands as one of the more enduring if unorthodox Imperial successor states in the post-Solipsis era: a blend of old Imperial grandeur, new military technology, and shameless opportunism. The remnant has since joined the The Final Dawn under the command of Supreme Commander
