Moving forward was not easy because the ground became dangerous, loose, or just torn off in so many places and weakened. To prevent previous events from happening again, a safety rope was used, to which each present attached their own strap. Here, Ingrid was in the middle now, if the front or back of the team fell, the woman with her physical strength might have been able to stop the fall. At least she hoped that.

The road was infinitely slow because they had to proceed very carefully. It was heard through the communication channel of the Eternal Empire that the situation was quite bad. However, it was not possible to hurry here, because there is one small bad move and it could result in the death of everyone and then the planet will not be saved. That is why they took very slow and small steps. All this while they knew they had to hurry, because another earthquake could come at any time.

It was both a slowness race and a race against time. Ingrid perfectly felt the tension, the nervousness that flowed from the others. Step by step, the rumble of the stones, squeaking, then crashing as they fell. The voices of desperate birds and animals in the distance, as they were confused, tried to escape, but there was really nowhere to go. It was exactly as if the world was dying, everyone and everything knew it, but there was nowhere to escape.

And the team went on the road to try to prevent that. They reached a hundred meters deeper in half an hour when another earthquake started.

The current earthquake was much worse and stronger than before. They were already deep in the gorge, below sea level, the rock walls now towering at least two hundred metres high above their heads. That is why they were nowhere near as lucky as they were last time. The quakes now involved fatalities. For a piece of rock of several tons fell to their heads at least from fifty to sixty metres higher.

The space here was really so cramped and small already that the whole team didn’t have a chance to get away from this object. As a result, the rock fell on the last three people and tore off all the way behind them. What saved Ingrid from being dragged down by the others and the fall was that the metal wire was also torn when the rock slammed. But even so, it pulled her back and the woman fell, though there was no other trouble.

Perhaps their greatest luck was that the equipment was not with the last persons, but with those who were in front, so they did not lose it. There was also a loud crack at the events, causing the cliffs to tip over their heads and collide with each other. Fortunately, the deeper layers had not yet been affected by this, or had no trace, but it was certain that they would not be able to go up in the traditional way anymore because there was no way back.

The soldier leading them swore that they would lose the Empress because of his work, by the time the woman said they would be able to go out so she had to deal with the task before them because, this was the most important, nothing else. So they set off using lights now, as it was almost completely dark here.

The air well away and above then exploded into chaos as fliers engaged one another. Asmus not breaking his sights until he delivered another shot to a far flung guard tower as he watched the skyward acrobatic routine go into full swing.

"Think our useful time ran out Ju-" He started before the ground began to shake and buck with fervor. He was thankful he was prone as the rocks and debris around them came alive with intent.

"Yeah. Think it's time to scoot."

"Think we can-"

"I am not nabbing an enemy fighter."

"Not like they'd miss it."

"I don't feel like getting shot down by friendlies."

"That's fair. Time to boogie then."

"Anyone watching the ground?"

"Popped the last one." There was an affirming grunt from Jules as the pair began their exfil. Asmus grabbing his rifle and lifting it while Jules grabbed the tarp over them.

"Don't fall behind. I'd hate to have to train someone else." Jules chuckled, beginning the slow and arduous trek back to their vessel.

"You just like my stories. Sides that, you can't stand recruits. And I mix better than anyone you know." Asmus snorted, heaving his gear over his shoulder before catching his balance against the jag of rocks beside their position.

"Eh. Wouldn't say you can mix better. You ever been to Bespin runt?" Jules cackled. Asmus shook his head, and Jules took the silence as a negative.

"We'll have to go sometime. Show you what a real mixed drink is like." He informed the junior sniper, leading the way back. Asmus shook his head, his smile hidden behind the helmet.

The ground continued its protest, the pair slowly picking their way through the shaking and diving into cover from overhead fire that trailed off in their direction.

Jules tapped his comm, opening a line to the friendly fighters overhead.

"This is Teardrop to all Queens overhead. Be advised. Operators on exfil. Two bodies southwest moving out of the hot zone. Teardrop, over and out." he called over the line before snapping his head back to gaze at the sight.

"Think they are a bit busy at the moment, eh?" Asmus chuckled. There was a long look from Jules before they stood, half crouched and began their trek back once more.

At first, It sounded like a simple greeting between vode. The standard "you're still alive, great" Mandalorian greeting, like Taozi expected. Then, Adenn's sneaky little shenaniganry processed in Taozi's head, and she whipped her head back to him to protest, but bit her tongue. She'd address it later, when they had more time. They would catch up later, after this.

For now, she had to focus on directing the rescue efforts.

"Watch for unsteady ground and buildings! I can't have any of you getting crushed under rubble, understood?

"Space Wolf, this is Alor Tal. Your assistance in this operation will be critical, and I thank you for your work in preventing more deaths and injuries."

As the aftershocks rolled through, Taozi braced herself against some stabilized rubble. The scared screams of the children were quickly quieted by their teachers, and the members of Clan Tal worked quickly to stabilize the rubble pathway Adenn and his men were creating. It would do none of them any good to be able to have a path in, but no path out.

The soldiers accepted the answer, they were not bothered if they died. The benefits and beauties of Ultranaut training. However, scientists were civilians; the civilian was to be understood at the present time as having no military training. They were scared and panicked. It was for this reason that the soldier leading took over the equipment, as he was the most experienced, the equipment was in the greatest safety with him.

As they reached deeper and deeper, it naturally got hotter and warmer, not to mention that micro-tremor could also be felt all the time. These may have been aftershocks of the former major, but may also be independent of it. However, small tremors also caused severe damages. The weak soil and wall became even weaker, which made everything life-threatening in this place.

It was for this reason that the losses were also great, only three of them reached the ground level, half an hour later. They could only move infinitely slowly; Ingrid, one of the scientists and the soldier leading the group, were the ones who survived. Luckily, the device was still with them, so nothing was lost and there was a scientist with them who could handle the device.

<"Start assembling the machine, we have no idea how much time we have before the ground breaks or before the rock wall falls on us."> she said.

She, too, began to concentrate on opening a rift into the Netherworld, through which they would be able to escape.

Closing in on the six of another Striker, Eleena shifted her body across the frame of her swoop as the enemy pilot pulled his craft into a hard break turn, intending to evade the wrath of her guns. The Twi’lek felt the Gs wrack against her body, owing to the fact that she had slightly turned down the acceleration compensators in order to reserve more power for her shields. Normally, she wouldn’t take a turning battle, but the bandit couldn’t be allowed to escape, which would give him the chance to get on the six of one of the bombers or missile boats.

Fortunately, the enemy pilot had made a mistake in attempting to engage a jet swoop in a turning fight. With her craft being smaller, it was quite a bit lighter than the comparatively heavy TIE. As such, Eleena had little issue keeping on the bandit’s six, bringing out yet more panicked maneuvers from the enemy pilot as he sought to shake off the gnat that was hunting him down. All the while, Eleena willed the quad particle beam cannons on her wings to fire, catching the Striker in the wings and fuselage, bringing out a few gouts of fire on its hull. However, as her guns didn’t have the power of laser cannons, only sustained fire would bring down the Striker.

Immediately, the bandit pulled into guns-D maneuvers, executing a series of frantic, seemingly random changes in direction. Eleena could keep up, but they were also slowing her down.

Then, she glanced at her sensor readout.

Just in time, the Twi’lek pushed power to engines, before driving the Queen in a reverse Split S to evade the TIE coming at her from above.

“Enemy reinforcements, incoming!” A feminine voice called out over comms. “More TIEs!”

“Dropping our payload on the base now! We’re gonna hit it and run!” The missile boat squadron leader replied.

“Mermaids, tie up those TIEs in turning battles, we need to buy time for our reinforcements to arrive!” Isena called out.

“Copy that, One.” Eleena answered.

Just then, the first in a salvo of what could potentially be hundreds of missiles and bombs began to fall on the base, wreaking havoc and explosions where they fell. Eleena’s eyes went wide when she registered the incoming message from Teardrop, the realization coming to her that there were still friendly personnel on the ground, close to the very base that was the target of a coordinated airstrike.

“Teardrop, this is Mermaid Nine. You need to get off the ground, now!” She began. “Are there any more with you? This base is going up flames!”

Then, another voice popped up over comms.

“Are those Final Dawn TIEs?”

“Sir, I believe we have reached the conditions for Directive 12.” The low, solemn voice of the Imperium Intelligence officer cut through the air of the dark room within the underground command center of Ebony Mountain Base, his stern patrician features highlighted by the glow of a hologram.

In spite of the reinforcements from Final Dawn, the sheer quantity of bombs and missiles falling on the base from the Eternal Imperial assault told the men inside the command center all they needed to know regarding the situation. The Belshei Imperium was going to be destroyed, all the work they had done in bringing order to this region of Riflor, purging it of the alien, enforcing peace, and cleansing it of degeneracy, brought crumbling down as the Eternal Imperials moved in to establish a new government in their wake.

And yet, for Haradan Belshei’s most trusted officers, there would be salvation.

“Indeed we have, Lieutenant.” Tonis Dara, the Director of Imperium Intelligence, agreed. “Confirm this order with the Legatus, then we will initiate the Directive.”

“Yes, sir.”

As he moved away from Taozi, Adenn noted how she belatedly realized what he'd said. Her head whip in particular brought him great amusement, but he said nothing and instead focused on the mission. He'd get an earful for it later, but it was worth it, and it was true, she just needed to realize it. Smirking, he set to work with his vode, diving in with his own extra mechanical limbs. All around him fellow vode worked, moving rubble quickly and efficiently.

A handful of people were found early, having rushed to the exits, but by far they weren't the only ones. Clan Mortui simply focused on moving the rubble, allowing the true medics to do their jobs, though they did greatly appreciate the damming up of the corridor for them. It would make things easier. As they pushed into and under the rubble, Adenn paused, head tilting up at a faint sound. Tilting to the side, he held up a hand and all activity from his clan paused, eyes either shifting to him or closing as his had, even as a scan went out from them all. Just as suddenly as they'd paused, Adenn motioned for them to move again.

"Three close life signs. One in that rubble," He pointed towards the right where a room had once been. Instantly some vode rushed to work. "another in the rafters, everyone else forward!"

Once more, a Mandalorian split off and up, climbing up to the vents and rafters of the corridor, searching for the life sign. The rest of Clan Mortui continued forward, clearing out the rubble and pushing it to the sides. That would help provide material to secure the hall for those who followed. As it was, they slowly spread further and further, digging deeper and deeper, all to secure what they could.

Time was really running out and they didn’t have very many opportunities either. And assembling the machine was not the easiest. That is, it would have been with really knowledgeable people or a droid, but none were available at the moment. So the scientist had to tell the soldier and Ingrid what they had to do. The man was terribly embarrassed that he had to give orders to the Empress, who had to stop opening the rift because of it.

It soon became clear that the soldier didn’t really understand the technical stuff and didn’t even have an affinity for them. That’s why all the work was left for the scientist and Ingrid. It was not so complicated for them, but the work was hampered by the fact that the ground was constantly shaking and the delicate work and adjustments had to be repeated many times because of it; or they just needed to wait minutes for them to perform the next operation.

That’s why another roughly twenty minutes passed instead of the otherwise barely two to three minutes of the task's real time. Barely twenty to thirty meters from the team, one of the earthquakes shattered the ground and the lava also surfaced, making the air very hot. But in the end, after tightening the last two screws, the charge was also in place.

<"Ready!"> said the scientist with relief. <"Let’s take a few steps back and then we can start …!">

As soon as this happened, the scientist activated the machine, which shot the charge into the depths with a loud bang.

<"How long will it pass until this will have any effect?"> she asked after the launch.

The question was really legitimate because the land was still trembling beneath them. The scientist turned to the woman.

<"Large tremors begin to subside after a few minutes, but the whole process can take two to three weeks."> he replied.

The next moment, the strong tremor stopped. In an unnaturally strange way; the scientist nodded that yes, it was already the effect of the process. Then now was the time for them to leave and not delay any longer.

Ingrid turned toward the empty part of the "valley", reached into the Force and began to concentrate. With her hands she began to draw the appropriate symbols in the air and also uttered a few words in ur-Kittât language; what was perhaps interesting was that in spite of all this, the woman's presence in the Force remained neutral. Two or three minutes later, the rift also opened, with the three survivors able to reach the Netherworld to return to a safer area from there.

The planet has been saved, but another question is whether there will be anyone in the near future who will have courage to return to this planet or not.

Objective 1: Evacuation
81x7TFD.png

Location: Getting people ready for transport.

For the most part, anyone she needed to take care of medically was in a good state at the moment. But the planet, well that was not ideal. It was time to start getting things moving instead of getting things stable. Not the greatest plan to fight a planet. Kalic Daws Kalic Daws had a ship ready and was already getting people on board, she started getting as many people who were injured as she believed could safely be boarded towards his ship along with a few who were less so, but who she gave quick instructions to try and keep the rest safe during the trip, whether that was outright off planet or to another location.

She doubted a robed and masked individual was the strangest thing they'd seen, just hoped it wouldn't come across as intimidating to the other people on board. She didn't need to add to their stress but she also didn't need getting identified. Wasn't much else to do really. Get some of the rest either to a ship that could ensure they were somewhere safe, or just to connect them to someone. Her skills at orginizing things only went so far, she was used to just the science. That was essentially why she was here. Just heal who needed it and get out of the way for others to do the rest.

The comm snapped to life as they were informed of the dire need to clear the ground. Each had heard the transmission, and they didn't need to look to one another to ascertain the ordinance that was inbound.

Jules mentally cursed for mixing up the vehicle name and call sign as they kept their backs to the base in their escape.

"First one back, buys drinks?"

"I will kick you square in the tai-" Jules began before the barrage from above started and drowned them out. Each body was flung forward from the sheer mass of ordinance being delivered, sparing only a few breaths to steady themselves before beginning to crawl their way back.

"First one back doesn't fething die." Asmus yelled to the other, not expecting an answer as a break between the missiles and tremors gave them just enough time to stand and begin to move with every ounce of self preservation the pair had in reserve.

Jules could still hear the near manic laughter from his junior as the chorus of explosions seemed to draw closer to their position.

Jules opened the comm line once more, having caught the detail of their callsign properly.

"Mermaid Nine, Teardrop One and Teardrop Two are the only bodies on the ground in the operating area. On exfil...still south west and moving. And solid fething copy on the base. Teardrop one, over and out. Good luck to you all!" Jules harped over the line, breath staggering as he spoke before falling back into the cadence he had barely maintained over the rough terrain.

"Not much...further..." Asmus hollered before spying their vessels. One of which had its nose pointing skyward in an awkward display of dominance towards the other vessel.

"Ah feth."

"Well...I got a speeder strapped to the bottom of mine."

"You...why?"

"Just in case."

"That why you-"

"Yep. Unruly sith spit of a ride but hey...least we both have an out." Asmus chuckled, moving to his tarp covered ship and whipped off the cover. The overhead barrage was not relenting, and still seemed to be drawing near as Jules stared at the ship.

"Oh. You take the bird. I'll take the bike."

"Rodger dodger. Figured as much." Asmus gave a self pleased cackle as he worked on the strap that held the repuslor bike to the underbelly of the vessel.

He'd barely had enough clearance to not crush the nose of the bike beneath the tiny airspeeder he'd flown in. Jules bird having been unceremoniously toppled by the tremors and seemingly poor planning ahead of time.

The pair worked together, Asmus holding the belly of the bike while Jules undid the final strap and helped the other set it right. A brief exchange of goals and directives had the pair separating as Asmus stowed his gear inside the cockpit and spinned up the vessel's systems while Jules broke further south and moved to rendezvous with an incoming pick-up vessel.

"Mermaid Nine, Teardrop Two. I'll be entering combat airspace shortly." Asmus called over a secure line. His final checks had the airspeeder whirling in a flurry of power and turbines as he ascended and kicked the pedals back and forth to force the systems to warm up quickly.

Feeling the strong sensation of Gs as she transitioned her Split S into a climb, now closing in on the tail of the TIE which had come at her from above only moments before, Eleena tightened her muscles, breathing hard as she shifted her form across her machine. The Queen answered the will of her body as if it were a part of it, driving in on the enemy TIE in a pure pursuit, before finally she gave the command to fire. On cue, a single energy torpedo shot out from one of her launchers, streaking towards the TIE and punching through its ion engines in a burst of blue light.

Pulling her nose up to evade the explosion, Eleena looped the Queen into a wingover, transitioning into a steep descent, initiating a head-on with a pair of enemy TIEs.

She saw them before they saw her.

The four rotary particle cannons on her wings hummed to life, spitting out a salvo of fire towards “eye” of the leading TIE. A burst of sixteen shots was all she needed, delivered within less than a third of a second before ripping through the glasteel canopy and killing the pilot within.

Just before the second TIE could draw a bead on her position, Eleena pulled up out of reach, taking advantage of the brief respite to answer her comms.

“Good just...get off the ground as fast as you can. If you want, you can form up on me. Transmitting my position, now.” Eleena said, her breath heavy over the transmission as she drove her swoop into a sudden loop. “We’re also...confirming the potential presence of Final Dawn assets in the battlespace.” She continued. “There could be something...big happening.”

In truth, Tonis Dara was disgusted by the Legatus.

The man hardly fitted his title, which implied that he was a warrior, when in fact, he was far from it. While the propaganda had painted him as a special forces war hero, he had actually been an Intelligence Analyst during his period of service with the modern, now-defunct iteration of the Galactic Empire under Emperor Kardal. While he had seen combat, each time he had been ensconced in a location far from the battle itself, often drinking himself into a flying rage, a euphoria of lust, or a senseless stupor, depending on the kind of alcohol he imbibed.

These were things that Belshei had told him freely, as if they were close friends. Tonis Dara had laughed at every story, but they only made him despise the man even more with each telling. Fortunately, Belshei kept him comfortable and happy, but now it was all coming to an end and Tonis would finally be free to dedicate himself to an even greater mission.

The Final Dawn.

This would hopefully be the last time he would have to kneel before Belshei’s corpulent form, to which the Director couldn’t help but to crack a slight smile.

“Legatus.” He began, his face held down as he kneeled before Belshei’s holographic image. “We believe that the conditions for the contingency have been met.”

“And so, it is.” Belshei’s voice boomed artificially across the chamber. “We have built…” A pause, as the Legatus took a demanding breath. “A grand empire in this region of Riflor, which we must now cast unto fire.” Another heavy breath. “Fortunately, greater reaches await us both, in the Final Dawn.”

The Director frowned, his expression yet still hidden.

“Yes, Legatus, but I thought that the Final Dawn did not-”

“Oh! They have made me an offer I could not refuse, from a rather...ambitious fellow by the name of Marlon Sularen.” He interrupted, his deep voice taking on a cheerful character as the words left his lips. “Unfortunately, time is of the essence and I can not indulge in the specifics at this moment. Just know that when this is all over, our partnership shall continue, my dear friend!” The Legatus grinned.

In contrast, the Director cringed.

“Now, let us initiate the fireworks.” Belshei continued. “Execute Directive 12.”

“It will be done, Legatus.”

There was a brief pause in the comms as he watched the dials spin up properly to operating temperatures, his eyes darting between dials and the scene developing around him.

Taking a moment to pop his helmet off, he pulled the neural band over his skull with a short lived struggle as the systems jarred his brain unexpectedly. The integration happened in quick order, but he never enjoyed the lapse between as the comm fired once more.

"Solid copy Nine. En-route." He called back, flipping the switch for the afterburner as he pushed himself back into the seat. He'd be pushed into it further but at least he had a solid idea of his reach beforehand.

The turbines whined in protest as the fuel shot into the system and the screaming began. Weapons shot off as the airspeeder lurched into the sky at a forty five and sent him into an arc over the battlefield.

It was a fething mess that greeted him, eyes picking through the scene and finding a bike in mid maneuver that correlated with the signals he was receiving. The airspeeder shuddered beneath him, engines full bore as he rocketed above her position and spied a tie of a particular brand attempting to get on Nine's tail.

A grin formed as he shut off the afterburner, kicked the pedals and felt the maneuvering vanes catch as the whole vessel continued up and onward while twisting mid-air.

"Hit the deck Nine. Draw him in." Asmus called over the comm, his viewport swiftly shifting around to see the scene before him as the whole frame shuddered from the drag he was generating.

"Come on girl, just keep...your bolts on." He hissed to himself as he flipped the repulsor systems off and felt the shift in momentum. The airspeeder began a strange drop, face directed towards the battle while starting to fall.

The energy and momentum shifted, slowly easing from his previous trajectory before he kicked the turbines on before the repulsor systems and felt the speeder shudder as he pushed the throttle forward.

Weapons popped online, his rear warning sensor firing as something hopped onto his tail. Grinding his teeth, he kept Nine in his sights as he went through the mental checklist and shrugged.

"Hope you like pink." He chuckled to himself, watching a series of green bolts sear through the air around him. The mental que given, the dispenser spat out pink vapor from the rear of the vessel as he pulled the stick backs and lofted skyward once more. The tie behind him screamed beneath and passed through with pink streams behind it, his head held up to watch it go.

"Brought a friend with me!" He opened the comm once more before finishing the arch and getting on the ties six.

Ingrid, the scientist and the soldier first really arrived at the Netherworld and then returned aboard this ENS Crimson Empress. All they had to do now was waiting for the results and the sensors that were constantly monitoring events. In which the scientist was not really wrong.

The big earthquakes really didn’t take more than two or three hours to stop. The materials injected into the core of the planet did not damage the planet, they only created and created conditions that were normal, average in other places. Due to this, the rotation and glow of the core slowed down, which slowed down the tectonic movements and almost stopped them. Gravitational processes in the nucleus normalized. At last, there were no forces that wanted to tear the planet apart.

Small and micro-earthquakes really took a lot more time to stop. It was a longer process that only later satellites and probes could detect. This process took a total of two to three months. Meanwhile, and after that, there were only so many and so many earthquakes on the planet that were completely average in a place the size of a Riflor.

The last earthquakes before the Eternal Empire arrived almost tore apart the planet, the evacuation saved most of the population and they were able to leave the planet safe. Although the Eternal Empire and the Eclipse Rebellion did not know they were working together, they also saved the inhabitants and the planet itself, together.

Objective: Save the children

As Clan Mortui pushed forward, so to did Clan Tal and the disguised Rebels giving them aid. Taozi directed who would follow the Mortui members that split off, and stayed close to the front of the group of medics. Their time was growing short, but not the Mandalorians' resolve. The pathway was being quickly reinforced, and already children were being pulled out of the school's rubble and back to the camp. Turning to a teacher that came with them to count the children, Taozi grabbed her shoulder gently.

"How many children are left? We don't have much more time."

"O-oh, um... From the ones that have already been found, probably a-about ten? They should be in a classroom up ahead, with their teacher. I-It's a classroom for seven year olds."

"Understood. We'll save them, don't worry. <Did you hear that Adenn?>"

Meanwhile, outside the school, Feng, still disguised as Rabbit, had arrived with extra support vehicles. Once they had gotten those saved from the school loaded, they sped off towards the main camp as the final aftershock went off. The lasers from the Space Wolf fired overhead at falling rubble, turning it to naught but dust that dissipated into nothingness. Arriving at the camp, "Rabbit" approached Shavara.

"How are supplies here? Did Clan Mortui bring more supplies to us as promised?"

Her voice was almost droid sounding, through the modulator. Just enough that in case any Rebels had interacted with the real Rabbit before, they wouldn't be able to tell by the voice that Feng had taken her cousin's place. And of course, Feng knew Adenn wouldn't fail Clan Tal, but "Rabbit" would not. Once Shavara answered, Feng would turn to Kalic's ship, and speak to him over the comms.

"Ace, how soon can you get back in the air?"

Kalic flipped some switches as he prepped the ship again. He quickly flipped his comms to Jee.

"Jee! Tell me that engine is ok." He'd hear some whistles, and facepalmed some. "Can you patch it enough to get back to the.... Then do it, quick!" He sighed, grabbing a few tools and opening a panel inside the ship to adjust some things as he heard the Rabbit again. Something about her was... different? No. He was just exhausted, right? As would turn on the comm as he went head first into working on the ships internals.

"Back in the air, right? Going to take another minute." Then something sparked, and he quickly looked up as he sighed a little. "Make that three minutes. We've been pushing this shuttle hard and she's really starting to hate us for it." He would quickly pull a fried fuse out, but then realized something. "Poodoo....." No fuses? Great.... He quickly grabbed one of the smaller tools and just jammed it into the old fuses place. This was a horrible idea, and if he had any reason to not take off yet he wouldn't do this. He'd let that Mando doctor yell at him about once they got off this rock. He got back to the cockpit, and quickly started the shuttle back up.

"Thank you, shuttle. We're ready to take-off now!" Once everyone was ready, Kalic would begin taking off, and monitoring his "fix" closely.

Objective: Help out and meet Taozi

Digging away at the rubble furiously, Clan Mortui set a harsh and fast pace, not daring to slow down lest they lose precious time. Time they couldn't lose, lest innocents die to the chaos of the planet falling apart. Working as he was, Adenn only heard the conversation Taozi and some teacher were having faintly. Stopping as she called out to him, Adenn stood to the side as his vode continued their work. Turning his head to her, he responded in Mando'a.

"<Aye ad, we did. Ten little ones and their teacher just ahead. We'll get them, don't worry.>" Turning his head back towards the rubble, Adenn faintly heard a cry for help from nearby. Pointing his hand in that direction, his vode continued their work. "<Faster vode, we're close!>"

As they dug further in, they finally came to the entrace of this classroom. Working furiously, soon enough they dragged a little boy out, before continuing on. Rushing forward, Adenn picked the child up and exited the rubble, passing by all the workers. Coming to a stop by Taozi, Adenn lowered the boy to the ground even as he coughed away, clearing dust from his lungs. As a medic came over to help the child, Adenn turned towards the rubble and paused for a moment, simply watching his vode work.

"<Despite the situation, I'm glad you called. It gives us the chance to catch up and perhaps meet again sooner than last time. I've got some things to speak with you about, ad, and I wouldn't be surprised if the same goes for you.>"

Grinning somewhat under his helmet, even as he watched his vode continued to dig away at the classroom. They had already dug out a further two children and were still going strong. Watching on, Adenn's gaze slowly shifted to look over the others present, waiting to see if anything else would come up or if it would just be this final room.

"Hit the deck Nine. Draw him in." Asmus called over the comm, his viewport swiftly shifting around to see the scene before him as the whole frame shuddered from the drag he was generating.

“Reading, Teardrop Two. Diving now!” Eleena answered, breathing hard as she brought her swoop into a dive, though not towards the base, but rather along its outskirts. All the while, her eyes flicked back and forth from her sensor readout to what was directly in front of her, taking stock of the conditions within the everchanging furball with each passing moment. Immediately, she drew a bead on a TIE at low altitude, temporarily low on energy from a recent dogfight, therefore vulnerable to a predator from above.

She didn’t hesitate.

Her cannons screamed to life, casting magenta a fire directly into the TIE’s ion engines in a fast, unrelenting salvo. She pulled the nose of the Queen up as the hostile craft fell to the ground in her wake, only just catching the TIE dogfighting Teardrop as the enemy pilot flew through the deployed pink gas, unwittingly getting on her six.

"Brought a friend with me!" He opened the comm once more before finishing the arch and getting on the ties six.

“Breaking left!” She called out. “You should have a good shot at those wings!”

If he could have, Tonis would have thrown Belshei into the volcano himself. Rage colored his pale features as he strode back into the underground command room, his footfalls heavy and hard against the ground, distinct even compared to those of his heavily-armored stormtrooper personal guard.

“Sir-”

“Do it! You heard him. Execute the directive, now!” The Director barked. “Get that damn package in the volcano and ready the evac shuttles.”

“Y-yes sir, of course. B-but the airspace, it’s still contested. We might get shot down before we can reach one of the corvettes.”

“Then tell the captains to get their ships closer! I’m not dy-”

“No sir, you don’t understand, it’s...meant to be the end. They’re not going to risk it. N-not even for us.” The Lieutenant answered, his features now beet red with terror as the prospect of a fiery death dawned over him.

A pause.

“S-sir? What do you want us to do?”

Another pause.

“Has the package been launched yet?”

“No sir.”

“Destroy the package and raise the white flag. We’re surrendering this base. Kark Belshei.”

“Yes sir.”

The air buzzed around them as he followed the speeder bike being tailed by the tie. The neural band fed him information on trajectories as the tie ahead of them slammed into the ground, a sharp juke of the controls brining him slightly above the expected radius of debris before the nine banked sharply.

"Let's rattle, snake." Asmus chuckled as he compensated for lead, surprised to see the trailing tie bank right. His mouth drew tight at the maneuver, a plainly experienced pilot not taking the bait as he cast the sticks sideways and worked the pedals in quick succession.

"Tie broke off, pursuing." The comm crackled as the airspeeder shifted sideways before dipping briefly and arching into the sky once more. The turbines whined as he gained altitude and kept glancing sideways.

The offending tie circled quickly, twisting as it met with another of its own and the pair set their sights on him.

"Now its fair."

The craft stuttered and hung in the air as he let off the throttle, watching the ties line up for a strafe. His craft was sideways to them, and experience gave him an estimated guess when their systems would lock.

He twisted the vanes, shifting the turbines around as it propelled him backwards and down into their trajectory and forced the pair of ties to split off as the airspeeder spun and dove before leveling out against the ground.

"Got a pair, Nine. Wingman went south and lead went north." He called before gunning the engines once more and headed north.

Well, it could certainly have been progressing worse. People were working together and for the most part, the people who needed to the most, were organized and controlled about the matter. Still, the place itself wasn't exactly in a state of order. She found herself glancing at the rubble being blown apart as it fell when someone ( Taozi Fuyuan Taozi Fuyuan ) addressed her about medical supplies, "Ah, yes the Mandalorians brought them. I set them where I believed they could be most useful." the fact that both of them were disguised was only slightly amusing but didn't stay on her mind long as she went off quickly to work with others.

Shavara meanwhile went back to checking on anyone injured, the efforts taken for each one were generally very short. However, there were a few injured who were less than ideal conditions, surgery was naturally not safe here of course. External injures would be healed with gkrchn or the local supplies dropped off, or at least set for healing. Bones issues would be set but for now there was only so much that could be done. Organ problems were the biggest issue, not because she couldn't fix them. But both because she'd need to put them under if they didn't want considerable pain, and because the un-stable conditions made such attempts extremely unsafe.
Though, if they were too bad, she'd be left with little choice.
