The Virtue-class Escort Frigate, also known among imperial captains as the New Acquirtens-class, is the workhorse escort serving the Imperial Fleet. It simple design based on an older hull but greatly improved, is the foundation for all kind of escort and patrol duties in the Imperial Fleet. Wedge shaped like the usual capital ships, it is heavily armed and armoured for its size and has abandoned the vulnerable bridge design of the Imperial Era ships.
There was enough space on board to transport two Stormtrooper companies, deployable and producing supplies and a strong sensor suite to make it an able patrol warship and a potent escort.
