SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Esk - Average scale (speeders)
  • Forn - Small scale (armor and containers)
  • Grek - Miniature scale (weapons and equipment)
STRENGTHS
  • Laminanium: Designed like a Quellian ship the hull of the orbital platforms has a thin layer of the material to improve repairs and over time depending on the amount of damage it is able to patch itself up.
  • Exotic Matter: The ethereal nature of the metal makes it near weightless despite being and looking dense within the pocket dimension of dream. In realspace it can be grasped and there is a steady supply able to be used by Krass.
WEAKNESSES
  • Exotic Particles: Largely unknown and not seen in the galaxy before. It isn't invincible nor is it really strong but it reacts violently near dark and anti-matter which can disrupt and destroy it or even cause it to rupture and disintegrate.
  • Self Repairing: Built with a protective layer to patch the vehicle in the event of damage. The time table is dependent upon the amount of damage with smaller tears being easier and faster to repair then gashes which can take hours to reform.
    • Note: Only the layer can repair not the full plate armor itself the plating can be damaged still but the underlayer of Laminanium can reform and remain.
DESCRIPTION
Designed by sasori to be a strong manufacturing material they could use across all of their products for a more uniform design. The layers of protection use standard materials set and pressed to become a material that can be manufactured easily enough with their large array of stations and foundries. More of the work that has been going into what the larger materials that Sasori designs and makes. The base of the plating is reinforced duraplast that is a strong manufacturing material.

Then it is a layer of alusteel with an interweaving of the sasori synthweave. To add the crystals and make it a special material for jedi and lightsiders who are able to use it.With the manufacturing process and what the engineers at Sasori are able to create they have a long list of ideas that go into their equipment and these plates aree no different. Getting a silver mirrored look for the ingots of it and the plates. Once the material is refined to work as an alloy on ships or weapons and equipment.

The heavier weight that it presents compared to the marvel that was the synthmesh designed by Sasori goes a long way. It isn't as strong or super lightweight but it is easier to produce to give higher levels of protection is easier to do or on speeders and as armor plating for the soldiers. Just a standard means to replace and better define what is being made of their own works to set them apart from the rest of the galaxy.

THe years of using the Inth metal have resulted in Sasori learning a lot more about the construction of it. With improved designs and their own skills are manufacturing they have revamped it while staying largely close to the original design of it. With higher quality materials and the process producing a stronger lighter weight alloy that can be used for their basic equipment. The original naming and tier scheme remained.

  • The Sasori Synthweave is made of Solari and Pontite crystals. It would be insanely expensive to make enough of the weave to cover a single station, let alone mass-produce this stuff. Remove every "class" of armor above the 'Average scale (speeders)'. I'm okay with speeders, personal armor, personal weapons, stuff like that. Anything bigger is a no-go.

Variable: Designed to function and be set up as a common material. With the superior nature of the synthmesh that has been designed by sasori its rarity came away for something that could be made far more common. So the metal can be used on any number of materials to replace other materials
  • This strength is vague and unclear. Please clarify what it's supposed to mean.

Matsu Ike said:
Additional Weight: While protective compared to many other Sasori products it adds additional weight to the product reducing speed in some cases and requiring the use of a resource null chip Note: weight 3kg per 1x1 plate
  • Two issues here. Firstly, you negate the Weakness in the same breath as listing it – the user need only slap on a Sasori Null Chip, and this doesn't matter anymore.
  • Secondly, 3kg per 1x1 plate? 1x1 meter? Inch? Foot? How thick is this plate?
Everything regarding the weight should be under the Weight section of the template, for clarity and ease of perusal – please move it there.

Required Force connection: With the synthweave there is a required force connection to keep the effects and enhancement active

give higher levels of protection is easier to do or on speeders and as armor plating for the soldiers.
  • These two things don't go well together. On the one hand, you state it's going to be used for standard plating – yet on the other, it requires Force-sensitivity to be used, or it's basically just an average-quality medium armor. Clarify your intent here, please.

Small compartments
  • What kind of compartments? Be clear, please.

@mention me with edits or questions.

Not Synthweave scale Aurek - Massive scale (stations and structures) Besh -Immense scale (battlecruisers and fortresses) Cresh - Large scale (heavy vehicles and starships) Dorn -Moderate scale (vehicles and starfighters)
  • I asked you to remove this, so please do so. If it stays in here it's just a confusing addition, since half the strengths of the submission are derived from the Synthweave. Without it, it's just a mix of Duraplast and Alusteel, which doesn't do anything new.

Matsu Ike said:
Weight: Medium Weight 5kg per 1 foot by 1 foot plate. .5 inch thickness
  • All units in submissions must be in metric. For frame of reference, you can add that it's lighter than durasteel, but heavier than aluminum. (About the same as titanium, though).

Matsu Ike said:
Variable: Designed to function and be used on Sasori products (and subsidiaries) as a replacement to standard materials. It is only produced by Sasori
  • What makes this a Strength?

Matsu Ike said:
In the smaller models for personal equipment such as speeders, weapons and plates for armor it uses the connection of the wearer if they are force sensitive
For smaller items, such as equipment, datapads, weapons, speeders
  • You have the same thing... listed twice? Unless there's a reason for this I can't see, remove one of the instances.

Matsu Ike said:
easier to produce on a larger scale and outfitting a ship
  • Please remove the reference to large scale production. I've asked you to limit this to a maximum size of a personal vehicle (speeders, etc.).

Sturdy: Designed to be a variable and strong alloy that can be deployed across all of the companies interests. Its layers bolster defense as thin layers give it energy protection

Matsu Ike said:
Absorbital: Set as a coating on the exterior of the plating. The material has strong anti blaster properties
  • Again, same thing, mentioned twice. Please keep your Strengths clear.
  • I'd suggest simplifying the first strength to be the Ion/Emp protection granted by the inclusion of the Reinforced Duraplast, and keep the Absorbital anti-blaster strength as a separate Strength.
Fix this, and it should be good to go. :)
