STRENGTHS
  • Voight-Kampff -
    • The "Athena" is a powerful assassin droid, but more than that it can cover itself in an 'organic' visual replication that allows it to fall into crowds and crews with little hints as who or what they are. Even going as far as having its outermost layer able to spoof biometric scanners to appear 'living' and 'healthy' - it can serve as a terrible example of what Assassin Droids of the modern era are capable of.
  • Synthetik -
    • While it is notorious for its ability to hide among others as an HRD, that doesn't mean the droid can't compete in regular combat. With most forms of combat integrated into its programming, the droid can serve just as well in open combat as it can in assassination orientated missions; making it supremely effective in most situations.
WEAKNESSES
  • Kaustic -
    • While 'Athena' could tank most combative damage, it does not have a strong defense against acidic measures. This is due to its 'organic' simulation on its exterior - that while able to spoof biometric scanners, burns away at acid. This makes it far easier to destroy the droid - and can certainly prove to be a great combat weakness to it.
  • Mechu-Deru -
    • Additional to its weakness from acid, Athena is additionally subject to a blanket weakness from Mechu Deru experts. Able to read and understand the droid with ease, and even able to sense its lack of a 'biological' sensation in the Force; anyone with a strong foundation in the power can counter the majority of what the droid is truly capable of.
DESCRIPTION

soufiane-idrassi-untitled-1.jpg

Built from the ground up as an assassination droid, the D-13 “Athena” is a human replicant droid that uses strictly bio organic overlayed holographic to appear human, with the added ability to adjust its disguise at any point - while its outer layer can mimic biological markers to spoof many sensors and security systems. This creates an assassin droid that can get into places it otherwise shouldn’t, without sacrificing its structural integrity and combat effectiveness; retaining its hardy armor and complementary systems.
Designed by Jaeger Solutions in 861ABY for the express purpose of assassinating force users and high profile political targets, with the express purpose of masking its presence in enemy installations. With combat modules that allow it to fight targets many times its skill, it is generally on par with a IG-88 droid in most aspects - though suffers in its restriction of being ‘humanoid’ rather than more unbiological focused mechanisms; such as fully rotation arms, torsos, etc.
With a wide variety of features, the Athena is capable of tactical responses to almost every situation - with a tough Phrik and Duralumin exterior to stop almost all common forms of damage from penetrating into its more sensitive components. Highly advanced combat modules based off heuristic processors used by South Star Class Battle Droids through history, and the advanced optimization from the X-02; the Athena droid has the intellectual capacity to dominate many situations it can find itself in. With the strength to match, and sensors spanning most needs; it has the fundamental repertoire to approach most situations and win.
Add on its massive set of combat enhancements, and it is a dangerous opponent in most situations. From ‘Ripperdoc’ cybernetics arms with a variety of dangers, automated droids and slicing enhancements - leave alone its highly advanced bounty hunting arsenal, the Athena can manage most combatants with relative ease. Even going as far to match Sith Lords in solo combat - specifically for the purpose of assassination.
Overall, this makes the ‘Athena’ a dangerous and stealthy combatant capable of introducing itself to most situations with ease, and assassinating otherwise unassuming targets with equal danger. In due time, this will see the Athena become a dangerous opponent for those connected; and Jaeger will make sure it becomes prevalent in the galaxy at large as the singular greatest option for every assassination need.
