SPECIAL FEATURES
Strengths:
  • Everything But The Kitchen Sink -
Due to the technology put into the device, it is a viable weapon and utility piece in many different battlefields, bars, and alleys depending on the situation. Loaded with the swiss army knife of prosthetic, it simply can't be outdone in terms of straight viable tactical approaches and uses; even able to light a spice laden cigar in the middle of a bar fight should you need. Its as dangerous as it is pleasing to look at, if you're into cybernetics, but it does it jobs in terms of adding to a war riddled body with a war ready arm.

Weaknesses:
  • Cumbersome Cybernetic -
Unlike more viable civilian or duelist options, the 'Ripperdoc' is not known for its lightweight or ease of use. The arm is in itself meant to replace a warriors arm, not your local secratary who lost it in a speeder crash. Those who carry it can feel its weight in the bones its drilled into, and often the superstructure of the entire body. They're heavy to say the least, making them not only uncomfortable but a deadly option to those reliant on speed and stealth over frontline combat.

[*]Robotic Ascension -
  • With most replacements made to help conform those missing a limb back into society, the way the 'Ripperdoc' is set up doesn't allow for skin overlays or other measures that would allow it to be hidden. This means that anyone with good sight would be able to recognize the device, and very likely be able to counter it should they understand what it holds. This also comes into issues when entering 'weapon free zones', as most will have the user remove the arm if able.

[*]Electromagnetic Annoyance -
  • As with anything robotic, the arm itself has the weakness of any ion, emp, or electric based attacks without a supporting deionzer or ground. While there are capacitors and body grounds set up to protect from lower level shocks, anything military grade will certainly put the arm out of commission if not causing out right spasms or malfunctions. Suffice to say, shutting down would be the best thing to happen in such a situation.

DESCRIPTION
After years of taking away, Jaeger finally gave back to its loyal clientele; this day in the form of arms for those who lost them to more notable Jaeger weapons. Although a mere charity for the sins and atrocities committed as a result of Jaeger’s arms manufacturing, the attempt was met well on the intergalactic markets and smugglers and more lowlifes began to replace there already vicious and home brewed cybernetics with Jaeger’s new trip into military orientated replacements.

With the frame made of a lightweight titanium alloy, as much space is saved as possible for the various other attachments, though this frame is not hollow. This means that while it can sustain prolonged combat with melee attacks, it does run into the issue that it weighs more than more sustainable options. The ‘muscle’ fibers are microservo motors made of carbon fibre, taken from the exoskeleton used in heavier armor designs utilized by Jaeger, but in this case meant for improving control over the device’s weight. These servo motors are also highly recommended, as ‘human movement’ is optional, and should the user wish they could simply move the arm in more inhuman ways, though others reactions to such might be vaguely disgusted. Last, a dark plastoid plating is put on by default to once again maintain weight, something debated about for hours by designers who would prefer something heavier like a ‘matrix overlay’ which, at the end of the day, simply weighed too much to be practical for the general consumer.

As far as combat utensils go, there is the many weapons located in the vambraces made by Jaeger which were implemented into the device, from blaster rifles to flamethrowers and vibroblades that are hidden behind the knuckle plate of the hand, the more notable weapons are the repulsor hand located in the palm. Taking away feeling in exchange for damage, Jaeger chose to implement the highly illegal device as a means of improving criminal usage, as being able to tear away skin and bone just from a handshake tickled many of their cruel scientists fantasies. In addition to this, a controversial hand cannon was placed in the core of the forearm; one able to shoot a few explosive rounds as a last case scenario by the hand folding back and revealing the very short range weapon. With an accuracy of only a few meters due to its very short barrel, it's a very dangerous weapon to use against, especially when inside.

Despite all this however, the weapon is not without its drawbacks. The arm is wonderful to the various mercs around the galaxy, that patrol the hyperspaces in the wild regions and more, but its weight makes it a burden in combat. It may be strong, but using it as a duelist or melee combatant is not recommended despite the many implementations that would say otherwise. It simply takes far more energy to throw the hand, in total weighing two or three times what a normal arm may weigh. In addition, its various weapons restrict many of its users from entering more respectable establishments that would ban such weaponry, making it very reserved to more military grade operations or hidden beneath cloaks. Lastly, any electric interference can severely damage the arm, as it has no onboard combat deionizers that would protect it in the case of shock. In Fact, it is a nearly violent lightning rod should it ever be caught in such a situation; making it extremely deadly since it is directly connected into a person's body.

Overall, the arm is a very viable military utensil, but can be as dangerous to its user as it is to anyone else. Do not use it lightly, and don’t cut off your arm just to get a chance to use Jaeger’s next product. A normal hand will do just fine, for whatever you need.
