Dominion of Belsavis​

​

What once was a prison can now provide a new means of freedom. Belsavis served as a prison world for the ancient Rakatan and Jedi alike in its ancient past, however in more recent times it has become home to vagabonds and corrupt agricultural corporations. Taking control of Belsavis would allow us greater access to the Corellian Trade Spine and the Hydian Way, and therefore greater access into the very heart of the Galactic Alliance itself. A vital highway that we must secure if we are to deliver a fatal blow to them in the future.​

While the annexation proves to be mostly peaceful there will undoubtedly be those among the locals who will not heed to their new masters, and as such must be broken. Whether that be on the battlefield or in the diplomatic hall matters little so long as it is done. In addition such an ancient and storied world undoubtedly has secrets waiting to be uncovered and exploited, as all should be for the Sith Order.​

Objective 1: Still Doing Time​

The Tomb, an ancient prison complex used not only by the fabled Rakata but also by the Jedi of old to imprison their most dangerous foes. Our archaeological teams have managed to open tunnels into the Deep Prison to allow access, however the presence of ancient war droids and other defensive systems has limited exploration somewhat.​

As such teams of Sith and skilled infiltrators have been dispatched to venture into the depths and clear paths for future expeditions. Aside from the defenses, we have confirmed reports of ancient Sith and their arsenals locked away within the Tomb. Awaken these Sith and bind them to your service or take their equipment for your own usage. ​

Objective 2: Banana Empires​

​

Many of Belsavis’s inhabited domes and cities are dominated by wealthy corporations and private interests, as well as some crimelords of course, that keep a tight grip on the planet’s economic avenues and exports. Thankfully these parties have largely agreed to peacefully integrate into the Sith Order, so long as their agricultural domination is assured.​

​

Securing a stable source of food for the wars to come is indeed vital to the armies and citizenry of the Sith Order, but having personal control and sway over that food source would make one’s position all the more important and secure as well. Parley with the fruit barons and claim governorship of Belsavis for yourself or your allies.​

The domes of Belsavis, oases among the frost, contain many secrets and settlements that are ripe for the taking! Pursue your own goals before the planet is brought fully under our control and your access is restricted by the new governor.​

The Deep Prison, otherwise known as The Tomb, contained some of the most dangerous and powerful prisoners. These captives had been kept alive and young due to the ancient Rakatan technologies that sustained their imprisonment. Many among these prisoners were powerful Sith, entrapped there since the Great Galactic War several thousand years ago. Darth Xyrah had been rapidly building up their own power base since their ascendance as leader of the Sith Imperial Banking Clan, and he hoped to recruit some of the Sith Lords imprisoned here whom might be amenable to his designs and grateful for liberation from their torment.

A large scale expeditionary force, primarily consisting of SIBC Battle Droids and hired Trandoshan mercenaries and led personally by Darth Xyrah himself had made landfall on Belsavis, and were quick to ensure they were the first to arrive and secure access to the Deep Prison, where a large camp and command post had been established.

Darth Xyrah, his science team and a protective contingent of Trandoshan Elites and Commando Droids were already hard at work gaining entry to one of the Tomb's cells. From historical research, he had determined that a cadre of Sith Lords known to history as "The Nine", were imprisoned within. He hoped to secure their allegiance and bring them into the fold, but he had to get through the front door first, which was proving particularly stubborn, even as a large mining laser was being fired to gradually carve through it. Darth Xyrah, in the meanwhile, pulled out his holocommunicator while waiting for entry, contacting his husband, Darth Carnifex. "My love. I've secured a proper encampment and have begun forays into the Deep Prison. We've already located the cell containing The Nine. Other sith forces have yet to arrive, so we have the initiative. I suggest you make landfall and join us as soon as you are able, beloved."

"Ah are the shiny toys of the Kainate not doing their job? Wouldn't be the first time." While Darth Strosius had intended to be the first to the Tomb in order to exploit it the most, he supposed that he could let someone else open the door first. As long as he still got what he wanted in the end the steps in between hardly mattered.

The masked Sith had arrived at the command post and camp with an entourage of Lorekeepers and his Sith Troopers in tow, a part of him still debating whether or not he could get away with attempting to wipe out the Kainite expedition and take control of the mining laser as well as the Tomb for himself. Unfortunately between the droids and the Trandoshans that would hardly be feasible, but he nonetheless considered it and let the plan swirl about in his mind for a few good minutes before discarding it. For now.

Perhaps some 'incidents' within the Tomb would be enough to even the odds if conflict became inevitable. He stared at the monolithic door as the laser gradually carved into its ancient stone, his arms crossed behind his back in order to keep his fingers from twitching. Between the slumbering Sith and the relics that they were imprisoned with, as well as some potential leftover Rakatan technology of course, there was a lot to be gained from the Tomb this day. And he intended to have it all if he could play his cards right.

 

[Darth Carnifex]

The Eternal Rule straddled the line between atmosphere and the empty void of space, cruising along the lower thermosphere of Belsavis. It's gleaming, obsidian dagger-shape could be seen by those making planetfall below; a lasting reminder of the dark power which loomed over the world. Smaller dark shapes crowded around the gargantuan vessel like a shoal of flitterpods, smaller corvettes and frigates running interference against any potential galère.

Among the ranks of the Sith, knives were always held just out of view.

Darth Carnifex, Dark Lord of the Kainate, watched Xyrah's landing through a holographic display. Atmospheric and environmental data cascading down as the Eternal Rule's advanced sensor systems tracked every minute detail. When Xyrah finally deigned to make contact, the Dark Lord answered without delay. Only Darth Carnifex's head and upper chest were visible, the rest shrouded in darkness. A new scar had appeared, stretching from one side of His neck to the other; a lasting symbol of sacrifice.

"My love. I've secured a proper encampment and have begun forays into the Deep Prison. We've already located the cell containing The Nine. Other Sith forces have yet to arrive, so we have the initiative. I suggest you make landfall and join us as soon as you are able, beloved."

The holographic display proved Xyrah's words, as each lifeform was transcribes as small chevrons before the Deep Prison.

"Very good, Lord Xyrah. Reinforce the landing point. We will descend when it is opportune."

The world of Belsavis. A prison world that had long held its charges in deep isolation from the rest of the galaxy. Its surface riddled with the mindless menials, skittering about their meaningless little lives like the insects they were. Weak willed and full of greed. They played games of words and chance, selling their wares or seeking to expand on their hoards of useless material items, that could no more make them happy than those self same things could help slow their creeping inevitable deaths.

They disgusted him. Leeches. All of them. They only lived because even leeches served a purpose in an ecosystem. Albeit a small one. They were lucky they fell so far beneath him that their smell could almost be ignored.

Yarost stood, arms crossed over his massive chest as He watched his men gather for the first time to descend to a world and take what they wanted, bodies. Adolescents were best for replenishment of their ranks. Sadly, only 1 in possibly 20 would survive the implants and subsequent training. And He had thousands less than his brothers and sisters had. And He would need them to fullfil his dreams of destroying the Jedi in his Master's name.

"The legion is ready, Warmaster." One of his lord commanders, Vedic, said as he walked forward and saluted with a fist to his chestplate.

"Very well, Lord Commander Vedic." Yarost replied, His voice deep with an almost phlegmatic growl, "Bring me my armor, and inform Darth Carnifex we are ready to secure the designated areas."

"Aye, Warmaster. It will be done." Vedic bowed his head as he replied.

Belsavis was a world that held an untold number of mysteries, all locked away and forgotten about by the ancient Rakata and their Empire. Later, it had become a fortress and prison for the Republic and housed numerous Sith and other captives from the galactic wars fought in the era of Vitiate and his Empire. In the modern era, it had been the home of a prison for both the Omega Protectorate and the first Galactic Alliance, holding former members of the Lords of the Fringe and the One Sith. She herself had once come to the world to briefly study the Eternity Vault and helped the Alliance fortify the world.

How times had changed.

There were multiple projects in the works among the power bases of both her and her allies that would benefit from what lay within the Tomb and its various vaults. While there might be some interest in releasing some of the ancient prisoners, or even some of the more recent ones that had been forgotten when the first Alliance fell, the arrival of the Lady of Secrets and a force of Geists and Ravenscar Adepts was focused on other avenues of egress and retrieval.

Several Vyraal-class transports would drop out of hyperspace near the Eternal Rule, sending a quick burst transmission to both Darth Carnifex and Darth Prazutis that she and her forces had arrived and where they would rendezvous before the transports would cloak and begin descending to the planet's icy surface. A benefit of having been to the world once before was she knew of other entryways besides the one that had been established by Saryn Zambrano , and it had the added bonus of being the site of one piece of technology they were interested in acquiring for continued refinement of Project Nexus.

"Approaching Maximum Security Zone, and we're detecting a faint energy reading still that matches the signal we were looking for, my Lady."

She nodded towards the Sith Knight in command of her forces, eyes watching as the tropical fissure, and more importantly, the transport center it contained came into view. Once it was secured, it would be the focal point of her efforts and she fully expected Braxus to join her there. They had work to do, and swiftly too, and while eyes were on the giant laser drill, they could move about quietly.

Well, she was here. At the very least, she could claim she had been present. Of course she had to come up with a why, she decided artifacts were an acceptable answer. The laid back sith would take on her armor and weapons, and seek out the passageways of the tombs. Not the standard ones of course, she was looking for the hidden ones. Enhancing her eyes, ears, smell, even touch, to well beyond their otherwise human limitations. And then expanding her search in the force. She'd let the others take the obvious routes, for likely, the more rewarding locations or items. More fascinating discoveries. Tests of power. She, however, was content with locating alternative passageways, things that may produce something good, or may simply turn out to be some acolytes hideaway.

She'd continue some time, hearing war droids closer and closer. And then a smirk, she eyed the offset only barely. Smooth pieces of metal so neatly held together that it was completely air and watertight when shut, and as a result, almost impossible to see as well. She moved her way up to the area, slightly taller than standard for a human entryway, surely designed for one of those ancient sith held captive to hide away in. She felt it out shutting her eyes and visualizing it's sides and edges so closely held together with the force, until she figured out it's mechanisms, and pushed it back and to the side just as she heard the clack of a wardroid turning the corner. Then shutting it behind her. Though the disturbance of any remaining dust might leave it's path more visible for anyone else on the lookout.

And then, she'd begin to walk. In utter darkness at first until she activated her simpler of her two lightsabers, a standard red one with a sturdy hilt. In truth, it was to her basically a training saber. Her Draika iv misina was the real weapon of combat. But it was probably best not to set any surroundings alight should the lava crystal spatter against something flammable in such a, so far, thoroughly enclosed space. Not gaining in size at all since she entered. And it seemed to go very very deep so far, possibly winding. She could feel no movement of air beyond her own.

This could be a long walk, good thing she had plenty of oxygen and a rebreather. That would have to suffice. So on the Marr went. Not slowly, but cautiously. Seeking out what might be hidden away in here.

"My Deathless Lord. All is ready. What is thy will?" General Kastax the Talon of the Blackblade Guard entered the small chamber within the Eternal Rule. A pair of vibro-arbir blades sat akimbo on his back, two of his infamous talons utilized to reap a bloody tally from the warriors of the light. One of the living legends of the Guard and a distinguished commander of one of their exalted legions, Kastax was a cruel and twisted butcher. He specialized in terror tactics unleashing devastating, lightning-fast strikes from the shadows and unleashing specialized, torturous form of warfare on his opponents. He was a student who voraciously absorbed the ways of the Jedi Order, learning everything he could of his hated enemy to understand them and more efficiently kill them. The Talon achieved high marks in the Guard for achieving among the highest kills of Jedi out of his brothers, with a collection of well over a hundred padawan braids, and many blades taken from knights.

Deep within the steamy chamber sat a pit sunken into the ground. It was filled with boiling, steaming blood that gave off a hazy, crimson vapor that hung in the air. The Lord of Death itself stood in the epicenter of this pool his arms spread outwards, fresh scars marring his form. The corrosive touch of the dark side ran thick here within the beating heart of the destroyer, it crawled up the walls and the monument of industry groaned in protest. But it wouldn't break for it was forced to serve a purpose, as all things did in their world. Above the Dark Lord of the Kainate were over a dozen bodies, their throats cut open and what blood remained drained downward, showering him in gore as he grabbed hold of two pillars. Their lives were ripped away with little care and the force of their lives, their very resonance in the force was forced to remain, denied the hereafter. They drained slowly, painfully into the Dark Titan who commanded fate itself to stay its hand.

"To war. Send the legion to the surface. Crack this world open my Talon and give unto me all the secrets within. Slaughter all who stand in our path." General Kastax bowed before him slamming a fist hard to his chest. "The world is yours my Eternal Sovereign." To all who knew the terrifying reputation of the Blackblade Guard this was a grim promise, a promise for the terrible fate to come when a legion was unleashed on a planet. The Talon turned and departed then, and in the wake of his departure a holographic crimson eye alit with fire appeared, the visage of AQUILA. "My Eternal Sovereign. Messages for you from Lord Yarost, Lady Xyrah, and Lady Raaf. All have touched down to the surface. The Lady of Secrets expects your arrival at the transport center. Battle begins." The terrible voice of the malevolent AI drowned the equilibrium of the room, ending the delicate silence and rang off the walls.

"Excellent. Send a reply to Lord Yarost and Lady Xyrah. My legion makes landfall across the battlezone. All forces are to commence the assault once every landing zone is taken. Slaughter everything that stands before you. If it cannot be subverted it is to be destroyed with extreme prejudice. Inform the Lady of Secrets that I make for the surface at once. Send word to my nephew I am beginning phase two. We will break open the Tomb and carve the secrets of the past out of this worlds bones."

It was almost as if AQUILA had come alive over its decades of service to House Zambrano. It's artificial intelligence gorged itself on the living darkness its sovereigns commanded, poisoned by the corrosive touch of mechu-deru it was virtually self-aware. It's visage seemed to blur and shimmer with delight and a thirst for blood that would make a berserker blush. "It shall be done your excellency. Shall I prepare firing solutions on all major population centers for the fleet?" It replied with its own question. The relationship between AQUILA and its masters was a special one, and it was afforded certain liberties. "Yes. Only by my order does the planet burn, It will be our contingency." There was almost a disappointed hum in response then "A pity. It is done." It said as the Dark Lord returned his focus to the searing rain.

Some time later...

Death had come for Belsavis.

A storm of thunder crashed through the skies as a rain of Reaver-class Boarding Pods retrofitted for ground-based combat burned through the atmosphere. These pods well designed for extreme speed would've killed lesser men, if members of the Guard weren't sealed within. Down the first wave came far too fast for anti-air defenses to lock targeting solutions, they fired aimlessly creating a kaleidoscopic display of explosions and blaster fire streaking through the air. They would shower the landing zones and hot target areas for the heartiest of anti-air defenses, these giants would wade into death itself and carve out victory, softening the ground and providing support for all ground troops while the greater forces descended. Down through the skies came two Ferrata-class Planetary Assault Carriers and between them a Coloi-class Planetary Invasion Carrier. All three ships descended between the various landing zones, and from the immense pyramid spilled an immense swarm of droid starfighters to saturate the pounded anti-air defenses with air support. While the full legion proper came to reap a bloody tally over the surface.

A separate force descended towards the Transport Center entirely.

It was a wave of Vindican-class Troop Transports surrounding a Gravus-class Imperial Shuttle. The entire group were fully equipped with a stealth suite to conceal them from the primary battle that began to unfold. The elite of the Talon's legion accompanied him with a personal escort of Imperial Crownguard. As his small task force cut through the atmosphere the Dark Lord stood clad in his battle plate. The giant silently observing as his forces began to descend to the surface tracking updates from the legion and the flowing tactical data as it poured into his command suite. Everything was proceeding as he expected and that was good. Force knows what secrets the Infinite Empire, Ancient Sith or Jedi left them within the surface of this planet. They needed to be ready for anything. That was precisely why he chose to bring a full legion to the surface. It was extremely rare that the Blackblade Guard needed more than a single legion asset to achieve any goal. While the greater force drew attention in the full siege, he would group with Taeli Raaf and push deep into the surface.

Irrefutable respect given to those most deserving, to those in station upon the hierarchy of eternal godhood and sinful excellence, that are given their own signature and overwhelming judgment. Honor the value of hierarchy, and never undermine the superiority or right to rule of those whom in every plasma of their design bore the mark of the chosen. Divine judgment and righteous wrath would await any who would break such virtue.

To share blood with hellish gods, could Domina really be surprised?

The signs had always been there. Some of the Primes earliest memories had been of the Eternal Father but never had the godhunter imagined sharing a kinship with a god-king. But if there were to ever be one with whom Darth Carnifex passed on a mere inkling of his divine spark, would it be anyone else but she? Could the god-king really have any other heiress more worthy of a divine blessing than she? Than his beloved Prime?

Even without the loving embrace of the godborns deity, she may have been a single thread in a divine tapestry whose color shined above the rest. Domina could feel herself growing bigger than her very bones.

But in the end, Domina had no choice but to give credit where due, not unfairly glorifying one's own self, even as glorious as she believed herself to be. No glory most deserved was by those she had discovered to be her bloodbonds, The Zambrano tribe~

Ever since the shuttering of The Enclave, the young Mandalorian Xeno had found herself almost lost. The 'war' was over she was told, and yet the core of her starborn bones itched and ached for the hunt all the same. But now, as of late even that wasn't enough to satisfy her maddening thirst for sweet superiority and delicious domination of all things. It wasn't enough anymore to simply soak her claws and teeth with the precious nectar of godborn lifeblood.

Kaine must have noticed this stranger than usual behavior in his netherspawn daughter. Her aimless restlessness had resulted in countless mishaps between her and a great number of Sith both under Carnifex' influence and even those far outside of it things were becoming obvious that something within Domina Prime had begun to adapt and mature at a frightening pace.

And with the most generous and welcoming of hands, Carnifex had extended many invitations to his estranged Mandalorian Daughter as if encouraging the girl to explore herself and her evolving desires. Promising his netherspawn child not only influence and authority, but the potential to one day seize her own divine spark for herself and ascend to heights once thought out of reach by those like her.

And this most recent promise had been the one to ignite a thermonuclear reaction within the xenos core. The Promise of lost champions and displaced godborn trapped in a cage and denied the most basic of pleasures in life.

Dima could relate to these prisoners. After all, she was born into this world in a cold, lonely cage. So something about this felt…personal even if it was the sordid affairs of Godborn and their eternal conflict.

And as Saryn Zambrano and those droids made haste in their tinkering of The Tomb in order to gain entry to the prison Domina remained quietly and patiently sat not too far back. Five eyes shifting over the icy surface of the planet as that massive tail flicked and swished. Domina deep in her throats as X9, her droid levitated close to her mask as the girl patiently awaited the droid's progress as others touched down at their own pace to join the expedition.

Most curious of these individuals however was Darth Prazutis , another whom Domina shared a kinship with whom she had only just recently encountered during a rather dramatic day at the Gladiator Rings. She had not met him before nor heard of him, but his uncanny resemblance to her father was far too distracting for her not to become enamored with the Sith Lord. Especially after taking a particular interest in that mighty GREATSWORD of his as well as the many godborn mystics performed by both him and Kaine that always dazzled and delighted the naive xeno.

She had to admit, she found herself fantasizing often about what her father meant when he promised her a divine spark of her own and rather or not she could too perform mighty feats of wizardry and witchcraft like that in which her father and uncle did at almost every opportunity they could manage.

She wanted to be magic like them, but unfortunately, lacked the blessing of a deity to bestow such might upon her.

And in the middle of this mental fantasy the voice of her droid spoke up.

"So a sith prison planet huh? you really think you're gonna find anyone considered LOYAL here of all places? High probability they will try to kill you on sight instead!" X9 warned as Domina quickly picked herself up and began to make her way towards MASSIVE Tomb Door as Xyrah had begun examining the monolithic blockade before spending an…uncomfortable amount of time using the droids and Trandoshans they had brought along to try and laser their way through the door at a literal snails pace.

Domina rolled her eyes so far into her skull she was practically staring at her own ass while standing there beside Saryn Zambrano as they waited for the laser to make any kind of visible progress.

"Booooooooo, fucking LAME little god, this is gonna take FOREVER!" She complained to Saryn, girlishly whining as she pouted from behind her mask, folding her upper arms over her chest and huffing. "So like, dad says every creature beyond these doors is destined either for destruction or salvation, yes? Does that mean Dima can keep some as her very own 'Chosen Champions of Prime?' Dima LIKES the sound of that ya know?" She chirped almost innocently towards the blonde wife of Dimas father.

Impatience swelling in her chest as the maddening itch in her bones only further drove the Mandalorian Daughter mad as those azurite claws scratched at the scales of her neck so violently it looked as if she were going to claw out her own throat. "True champions will seek the might of Prime little one, you'll see~" She cooed to both the droid and Saryn as she shooed X9 off to the side with a claw, casually dragging her tail along Xyrah' leg as that laser continued to radiate its heat while pathetically attempting to get through the door. "Alright move it or fuckin lose it your KILLING Dimas whole vibe~" She barked to a Trandoshan, using the tail that was bigger than both he and she and slapping him off to the side and forcing him to dismount the laser that was slowly just cutting away at the door as he hissed in protest, only evoking a vicious and primitive chittering of those segmented alien jaws in his face from the four armed Mandalorian Xeno.

The lizard was wise to back off.

The droid watched as the massive cloak wrapped along Dominas shoulders shifted and suddenly was pulled open as incredibly MASSIVE tendrils spilled out the back of her beskar where a jetpack would usually be. Crystallized talons extended, and all of a sudden in a violent flurry of striking at various points of the door Domina snarled viciously as all FOUR of those tendrils snatched a piece of the monolithic door and like pressurized hydraulic diamond cutters began to pull off literal chunks of earth and steel from the door. Breaking it apart piece by piece, wrangling the nuts and bolts holding the very door shut in the first place and completely SHREDDING it off the door. Stabbing the talons into the door and completely smashing the complex mechanisms of the doors internal lock and tossing piece after piece of the door away in a primitive and feral display of unmatched physical devastation.

The door had seen much better days as the lashers on Dimas back began to wear and tear at it as well, each whip and lash carving through the door more and more until finally, as each tendril gripped the door from all four of its weakest corners after having obliterating it piece by piece the azure blue glow of Dominas internal core shifted hues from a bright blue to an intensified reddish color. Each tendril flexed, scales rippling as the muscles within were put into overdrive as Domina planted her raptor-like feet deep into the ground and PULLED her body back with all the force she could muster in the moment.

CLA-SHLINK! The overbearing sound of groaning metal being unnaturally folded and pulled off the hinges of The Tombs entrance with an audible crashing sound as Domina hoisted the doors clutched within her tendrils talons upward and proceeded to just drop them off to the sides of The Tomb with a thunderous CRASHING sound to the earth.

X9 stared at the scene, flabbergasted as they slowly floated towards the broken doors now.

"Dang it Dima what happens now when we need to CLOSE this back up aga-"

"Sounds like a problem for a future loser~" Dima quipped back as those tendrils ever so slowly planted into the ground, hoisting the already tall alien woman up even higher as she now dwarfed over any droid or sith she may encounter within these dangerous prison catacombs. "DIMA HAS FIRST DIBS SEE YA DWEEBS!" She squealed in absolute deranged delight as her four arms all clapped together in excitement and she twirled about in circular motions while walking atop her tendrils before stomping on the now discarded doors laying across the floor as Dimas head peered inside the tomb, half expecting there to be immediate resistance as the wildling xenobeast daughter of Carnifex without a single concern or thought of consequence went scuttling into the tomb, rambling on about nonsense as the mere sound of her voice could be heard from the outside of the tomb getting deeper and deeper inside.

"Woah! Da fuq is THAT!? OH NEAT WHAT IS THIS!? DA FUQ ARE THESE!?" Was all that would be heard from the outside followed by devilish laughter and girlish excitement.

It did not take longer than three minutes for Dima to come SCUTTLING back out the dark of the tomb and towards Saryn Zambrano , looming high over them as that massive tail beneath her reached out and delicately began to coil around the Sith Lords waist in attempts to pick them up to bring them closer up to eye level with Carnifex's daughter if he so allowed.

"Psst, h-hey! Pretty human boy! It's like, really big in there and uhhh, Dima does not now where to go. Can YOU help Dima find shinies and mighty godborn champions to to dazzle with Dimas feminine wiles to make them absolutely stunned by their precious, sweet Prime?" She bashfully cooed, dramatically flipping her hair with the sassiest neck-shake she could muster. Wanting to enlist the godborns help in navigating this...strange place so that Domina could actually find what it was she was seeking without wandering to far off the trail of her original plan. Five eyes lingering very closely as Domina waited for their reaction before proceeding any further~

Objective 2: Banana Empires

The single rhymic tap of his finger against the oaken table was the only sound in the room of the high rise that he found himself in. Well, that and the multiple voices of capitalists, burghers, and plutocrats, also the rarer crimelords and actual lords, the latter two sometimes were easier to manage, though if that simply was because he felt a kinship with the latter, and had dealt with the former in more than a few occasions, or because the other grouping simply droned, on, and on.

No doubt attempting to take the prison complex would have been more interesting than this. However, when he heard that Kainite forces of all things were mobilising to secure the structure, he had thought it a waste of time. The last thing he needed when tensions were mounting after all... well, one of them had done, was to make things worse by contesting what they had seemingly claimed for themselves.

Still, it would be a waste he felt to let the Kainites pilfer and have first claim to all within the facility, both prisoners and technology.

Alas, in his almost unofficial role as the ambassador of the Empire, here he was, negotiating the peaceful surrender of the corporations and conglomerates of this world, with an agreement that not only benefited them... in allowing them to survive... benefited the Empire, in taking this system essentially bloodlessly, securing the food supply for the future of the Imperium.

And well for him.

Food was not one of the great rare resources that would have one barter millions of credits for a fragment.

But the food did build empires.

Securing that supply for both his Alvaria, and becoming a key pillar for the production within the Empire, would grant him advantage.

The reminder of that was barely enough to keep him at the table, listening with half-focus as they continued on, a mask upon his face, the replica of his famous ancestor's, the only saving grace of the evening, he did not need to pretend he was at all interested in what they were saying. Oh, he knew he should have been, but alas... today... as he watched through the great windows, as more and more ships crested the horizon, or else fell from the sky, down to the vast prisoner complex visible from this high rise.

He knew where he should have been.

Where...

...He could be.

He suddenly stood up, the various speakers ceasing their discussions immediately and looking over to him, "My apologies, it seems as you can see," He pointed over to the complex, "A matter requiring my attention has occurred, I shall be leaving my second in command here to continue negotiations, along with introducing any other Sith that may require an audience."

Venerandus, stepped forward, seemingly his double, mask and all, no doubt he would be receiving a torrent of harsh words for suddenly putting him in this position. But, he would not have thrown Venerandus into the fireplace, if Malum did not believe he could handle it.

"I am more than capable of negotiating," Venerandus stated, a voice not too dissimilar to Malum's own before he took the seat that Malum had vacated, seeming a seamless swap, but Malum could already sense the glower sent his way.

Oh well, he would have to remember to buy him something nice.

Approaching the rear of the massive facility, cloaked and concealed, it was a small group of Tsis'Kaar lords that he had rallied to infiltrate deep into the facility. Already from above they could see the Kainite dropships land, a small army no doubt being mustered to take the place by storm.

They would be more subtle.

Indeed, it would be a failing if they found out they were here at all.

Where they would be quantitive and loud, they would be qualitative and quiet.

To seize all that could be seized, to free all that could be freed.

And the escape, with the Kainite's none the wiser.

[Darth Odium]

The dominance-class battle cruiser entered the Belsavis system with a silent flash and began to slowly drift. The black wedge-shaped ship lowered its shield and displayed an old sith IFF as its main engines cycled down to slow plodding patrol speed. Passive scanners swept the area moments before a tight beam transmission was sent to the ship of Darth Carnifex . The ship was old and just recently removed from drydock in the Terminus system where an old pre first order faction known as the Imperium had briefly held sway. In the days of the One Sith these battle cruisers were used in Terminus sector to battle renegade degenerates that had banded together in a coalition of lawless criminals. A small fact Odium had counted on being left and forgotten when the various governments continued to fluctuate.

The battlecruiser disgorged a single ship into the void. A shuttle. Equally matte black in an old attempt at space combat stealth systems. No attempt at stealth was at play today, however. The ship made its way toward the ship of Darth Carnifex with an almost deliberate display of confidence of allies. Within minutes the ship had docked and the boarding ramp lowered. And down the boarding ramp walked a cloaked and hooded figure. The figure held a long lead attached to a number of slave collars, all filled. The beings within were no onee of note. Force sensitives all but of no particular order. Simple criminals who had tried their hands at being rulers of various little underworld cults and crime families. Weak. All weak. And absolutely delicious.

Odium stalked passed the guards and troops who fell in as escort for the cloaked sith. And dutifully lead the enigmatic figure to a long overdue reunion.

He deposited the slaves just outside the chamber where Carnifex held court of sorts and entered quietly. He lowered his hood and his many head tresses writhed and snaked across his shoulder tasting the air an drinking in the emotions of the ship. As always he fought the urge to drain the lives of those present out of respect for the property of an old companion. Odium was tall, as many of his kind were but broader of shoulder, well muscled if leaner than he had been in times passed. But as ever he was dwarfed by the figure before him. The massive sith lord had always been imposing but he was now even more so with the yolk of the dark plague no longer linking him to a master. A new necklace of small bones; jaws, fingers and teeth clattered around Odium's neck as he inclined his head out of respect and then raised a thick fingered hand and wagged those fingers in a wave of out of place childishness, as was often his way. He didn't speak. His atrophied vocal cords still nearly usless above a painful whisper. And the epicanthix penchant for resistance to mental manipulation would make speech impossible until his old friend gave him leave to do so.

Odium tapped his head and attempted a basic connection.

[Yarost]

The massive man stripped his robes in the hanger down to a simple cloth kama and loincloth. The myriad silver mettalic ports along his body caught the lights of the bay as his attendants brought a grav-sled that carried his huge armor. His commanders accepted the honor of assisting their Warmaster with donning his armor.

The cords and cables that connected him to his powered suit of beskar and durasteel were plugged into his body with ceremonial deference oils and incense burned and smudged by menials as he was methodically encased in the black and gold armor. Until the chest plate was finally connected and sealed with a vacuous his. His two commanders each took one end of his heavy maul like weapon that was little more than a length of solid metal with a thick spiked head. A plasma rifle that was like a large pistol on his huge frame was holsterd in a cradle on the small of his back before the menials finished with their dark ceremony by cutting their own wrist and anointing Yarost weapon and armor with their last vestiages of life before collapsing and being carried away to be incinerated.

He joined his legion and boarded one of the dropships and soon joined The lady of secrets, Taeli Raaf and one of his Lords Darth Prazutis

The ships disgorged his warriors and he directed them to secure the area and leave to enslave or kill anything that opposed them, before he made his way to join in delving into the depths of this world with a small honor guard of his children in tow.

Darth Xyrah chuckled softly when he saw Dima rush into get first dibs on what lie within, only for her to come scuttling back out and gently pick him up to speak to him. He gave her a gentle pat on the shoulder. "Worry not, Domina. There'll be plenty of shinies once we're done here. Yet I sense we must move quickly. Even now, other Sith arrive to challenge our initial claims. I can already sense Strosius.....and another familiar presence, yet who, I cannot yet say...", he said with a nod, gesturing to his troops. "Move in. We make for the Nine's cell to release them from stasis at once. Send in the troops."

Quickly enough, the initial party entered through the entry hole made with the mining laser, and were soon followed by a multitude of Battle Droids and Trandoshan mercenaries tasked with securing the facility as they moved through it. Soon enough, they arrived at the entrance of the Nine's holding cell. Darth Xyrah turned to face Domina. "The Nine lay within. I shall begin the process of releasing them from their bonds. And yet I sense we are not alone within this facility. Sweep every corridor and eliminate any Rakatan Battle Droids that still protect this place, as well as anyone else who might try stealing the bounty of potential new allies within this complex. I'm assigning a force to assist you in this regard..."

The relative quiet in the corridor they stood in was soon broken by the sound of a large number of metallic footsteps. A full company of 144 SB-1 Battle Droids arrived, led by a singular SB-1 bearing the yellow markings of a command unit. "OM-2 and his company will assist you in this task. They are at your full disposal. Ensure I and my team are not disturbed.", he said with a nod to OM-2. The droid quickly responded. "Roger roger, sir! We're at your command, ma'am!", he chirped out, quickly saluting Domina.

As the Vyraal-class transports moved into position over the fissure, small IBIS Drones would be deployed from the underside of the transports to scout out the fissure. A litany of scans and samples would be taken, detecting everything from lifeforms to the composition of the rock around the transport center, would be relayed back to the waiting forces of the Lady of Secrets. What was most important to Taeli, as the readings came in more acutely, was the system at the heart of the cave. All readings indicated it was still operational even after all this time, but then Rakatan technology had a reputation for longevity.

"The attack has begun, my Lady, and the Shadow Hand is on his way," the Adept commanding her forces reported. "And Team Smash and Grab at the main entrance seems to have started early."

"Well, to be expected," she remarked, nodding towards the pilot to land the transports. No defenses lurked around the fissure, but that would likely not be the case further in once they engaged the Rakatan defenses left behind by the ancient wardens. Disgorging the multitude of Sith adepts, each specially trained in matters of infiltration and covert operations, they would immediately begin setting up their base camp.

"Once Braxus and his forces arrive, we'll spread out along the network and secure each station before moving into the Tomb's depths for the other targets. I suspect some of our... enterprising fellows might try and stop us or hinder our operations. If anyone sees what we are taking or attempts to stop you, terminate them with extreme prejudice."

It was not order given lightly, but the projects underway elsewhere were too important for even hints to leak out until they were ready. Technicians brought with them, experts in Rakatan technology and who had jumped at the chance for the chance to work on this project, had gotten the central feature of the center operational. A holographic map, spliced into the ancient prison's systems, would display the other transport centers and the teleporters at their heart.

As her forces prepared for their missions, Taeli herself would wait for Prazutis to arrive and then the work could begin.

Lord Halitus had with reservation left The Unknown Regions, and abandoned his Small Pond of Vrapas Sith. Now he was to swim in a big pond with “larger fish.”

The prospect of finding ancient Sith technology made The Father sign up for this expedition. He was hoping to augment his systems, find a means to alleviate some of the weight in his lungs.

The Darth arrived without ceremony, his return to the greater galaxy was nothing he wished to celebrate. There had been a reason he had isolated himself on Argos IV. With great pains he had avoided the political rivalries of The Alliance and Order, remaining a shade unseen by the hierarchy. Alas, trying to hide can draw powerful minds.. his assault on a Jedi Outpost had ensured that he could not enjoy his anonymity.

Already others had paved the way into The Tomb, the holding place of the Jedi. He walked with his usual heavy footsteps, his breaths beating in his chestpiece as he looked around. The acquisition of relics was a fierce competition, and he had little patience for games. So rather than battle for scraps, he lurked his eyes of flame oeering into the holds, one a dangled chain with a skeleton. Approaching it, he called the skull to his hand and saw a mark, seared into the bone. Studying it, he considered what soul had been left to languish here. Few things were worse than a prison, to have your days stolen because of your tribe, faith, and political affilation. There was no greater harm than to lose freedom, to lose your will to choose.
In this contemplative state, Lord Halitus returned to a corridor, and looked at a guard who’s insides were pouring out. Something scrambled the insides. He lifted up the corpse to get a better look as he hit a camera switch on his breastplate, sending feed off world.

There were moments when Gerwald hated the idea of politics. It seemed underhanded to play a game of words when action was more substantial. As a warrior he did not often like to hide his intentions, but the hunter in him understood the game all too well. It had taken those terms from Srina to get the wolf to understand the importance of it all. He did not need to broadcast his intentions to those he may consider enemies or allies. Keeping certain things close to his chest would be to his advantage in the same way cover kept the predator hidden from its prey.

It was why Gerwald had already taken to Belsavis prior to any official Sith Order movement on the world. HIs sights had been set on other strategic locations, and while many were distracted by The Tomb, the wolf and his apprentice made their way to the Eternity Vault. It was dangerous. The contents had even frightened those who created it. None of that mattered to Gerwald. This was not about one piece of forbidden technology, but rather the beginning of something new. While everyone vied for power, Gerwald was after more.

They stood at the mouth of the structure, darkness enveloping them. It was strong, the power, the darkside of the force. Blue eyes turned. The yellow and red hue of that rarely crossed the gaze of the wolf shone clear as the darkness seeped into his very core.

“Tell me about the security. What can we expect to encounter?”

They had been working on skills which were not the same as what a gladiator would be forced to rely on. Any apprentice to the wolf would learn to hunt, to become a predator in their own right. Gerwald wanted to ensure his student had been paying attention. There was no reason to doubt that Solomon could kill, but the question is what kind of warrior could Gerwald shape him to be.

He was strong, and the gladiator would be useful. Gerwald needed him to shape the future he wanted, the Sith Order he wanted.

Lord Halitus took his saber and cut open the chest cavity and saw that there were traces of The Celestial Strain, the black goo that had sent The Celestials into exile.
Getting on a comm,
“ Noomi Ishaati , I have found the Strain out of containment. Preparing quarantine failsafes.”
He called to The Force and a great spark happened, and the body became a flaming pyre. The Darth was disturbed by this finding, the Outbreak on Installation 616 had nearly killed The Dark Lord, and Doctor Ishaati.
As the body immolated, The Father began looking for signs of the infection, just one black drop could create a outbreak of the mnggal-mnggal. It seems he had to shift gears to Cleaner, and put other discoveries secondary. Ironic, there were Lords who would say let the Plague consume the Weak, but if The Celestials could not withstand this parasite, what would happen if it was loosed on the galaxy? Perhaps he had softened, becoming a father does that. He could see Kuwana Ishaati in his mind’s eye. He would fight the mnggal for her and his grand children to come. They deserved a chance to choose, light or dark, not be a host for this demon.

Unfortunately the moment that the entrance had been cracked open the forces of the Kainites, and the two most noteworthy figures among their number, poured in first. Not unexpected given the situation but still disappointing. Next time he'd have to make a note to try and bring more forces to bear even if he wasn't the first on the ground.

The masked man briefly swapped his commlink to a more private channel for the captain of the Sith Troopers that he had brought with him, uttering an order of, "As we enter do keep an eye out for defensive positions and chokepoints, they may have the numbers but we are blessed by the Force. If it comes to direct combat we must have every advantage that we can." , before moving forward to the entrance himself.

The best of the relics and Sith would hardly be so close to the beginning anyway so all they had to do was get further inside before anyone else, and with the Lorekeepers to aid them with whatever the ancient halls of the prison had in terms of defenses speed shouldn't be an issue. The main problem would be making it back out of the Deep Prison with their Sith and relics intact.

He moved forward and waited as his The Children of Yarost fanned out to secure their entry point. The dried blood on his helmet and armor left it looking as if the infinite void had been speckled with small red suns. The mace in his hand looked normal beside his 3 meter frame but vicious in its simplicity. Rocks ground beneath his heavy steps though he made very little noise as he moved to where the Lady of Secrets waited. He too, would await Darth Prazutis, one of his masters.

His children provided an honor guard of two huge warriors only a head shorter than Yarost himself. Their heavy rifles and side swords shinning with freshly polished brass filigree named them as first and second sons of the legion. His finest. They would be ready for anything that came next. All three stood silently as they waited. Yarost could feel the darkside holding its breath, a pregnant pause, and he revelled in the anticipation.

 

[Darth Prazutis]

The sleek ships dropped their cloaking as they began to dock with the surface, manifesting like black daggers in the night. Their glossy nykkalt plating reflected the surrounding light, as they touched down with a hydraulic hiss. Down from the ramps came the Moridinae Golems first, victims of the genocide forced to fight for their killers. These shock troops led the way for the inhuman giants of the Blackblade Guard. They spread throughout the landing site controlled by the Lady of Secrets and the Juggernaut, paving the way for his arrival. A phalanx of Imperial Crownguard exited the primary shuttle, each passing a scrutinizing gaze over their surroundings. When it came to the protection and defense of the dark master's their word was law.

The Blackblade Guard were a carefully chosen mix of elite troops, with a good mix of the force's specializations. They were all equipped for every battlefield, prepared thoroughly for any threat they might encounter. Each one of them knew what their orders were, what they had to do. The Mortarch descended the ramp then a great, black billowing pelt-cloak flowed behind him. Even as his feet first struck the earth he was already giving orders through their battlenet, giving the order to press forward into the complex. "Taeli, we have arrived ahead of schedule. There's no telling what we'll find down there, but we will unravel the secrets of the dark together as always." It was part greeting partly alluding to the last great undertaking they had together that sought to unravel the mysteries of the abyssal ether, the horrors of beyond that brought the Lotek'k to this world and firmly under his heel.

"There is much to be done. I have brought everything we may need to see our great work finished." The Shadow Hand passed a gaze over to Yarost then, the cloned butcher and inhuman commander of his own small army of cloned brothers. A gift from Darth Odium to the Kainate, an old ally from ages past. "Yarost, the secrets of the Infinite Empire lay before us. We will crack them open, destroy any threat we find. I suspect we will encounter the might of what was left behind through the ages, we must be ready."
