GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name:
    • 307th Legion
    • “Red Riders”
    • “The Volunteers”
    • "Imperator's Riders"
    • “Target Practice”
  • Affiliation:
  • Classification: Stormtrooper Expeditionary Legion
  • Description: The 307th Legion is a rapid deployment based Task Force, relying heavily upon it's use of vehicles. The name 'Red Riders' was bestowed upon the Legion after the last of it's units finished their training, giving the up coming army a call-sign. Fast as a flash bang and just as obnoxious. You’ll find young starry eye recruits from JanFathal, Zabrak ex-insurgency, fringe Mandalorians and mercenary alike, zealous anti-empire militia remnants, and Lo-Hold 3 volunteers. The 307th is one of the few remnants that stretched back to the birth of the New Imperial Order but remains by far the greatest melting pot of origin and not without its ‘friendly’ rivalries.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
With the declaration of defiance, the New Imperial Order attracted the attention of the galaxy. Not weeks after, this came with a surge in recruitment from it's freshly secured territories and liberated sectors, producing eager recruits ready to stand against the Sith Empire’s regime and for some..to make some money. To manage the influx of soldier and mercenary alike, a new Legion was commissioned by the Order and assigned to Legion Commander Voi’Kryt to maintain. Having a specific Task in mind, Commander Voi'kryt instead of opting for a quick deployment chose instead to push for a trained force.

Relinquishing her duties to the 12th Armored Division as a whole, Commander Voi'kryt while in between deployments, rigorously oversaw training and tactics imbued by their sire. While integrating the militia forces and mercenary companies in to a stricter and organized force under the NIO banner. In the end seemingly having failed to iron out all it's frayed edges. Despite this, the Commander Voi'kryt has worked along side the future 307th to instill a sense of discipline in the such diverse force.

Delaying their mobilization in favor of a cohesive Legion that could perform and withstand a skilled enemy. The majority of the Legion has since been on standby in the Troska Sector aboard an their assigned Inceptus Class Ship, waiting in reserve while it's final units organize before they can mobilize. With the months of training coming to a close and the Braxant Campaign well on it's way, the bulk of the force is set to deploy to the looming battle of Dubrillion to relieve the strain on the weathered Legions that have came before them. The hard won victory on the beaches of the water world cemented their place in the warmachine vetting the trained force through the harrowing trench battle.

Post Dubrillion the 307th would go on to deploy to major battles including the siege of Bastion both in overthrowing the yoke of the Sith and in defense against the remnant upstarts that followed. At it's height the Legion served on the back burner when compared to the 501st and saw sparse deployments as a shift in culture and the rise of the Emperor Rurik Fel. Peacekeeping had not been their intended task deployment and a huge surge of reform featured a streamline Imperials over volunteers they had first relied on. A clash of old schoolism versus the developing warmachine. The Legion remained the most diverse out of all Imperial assets at the time seeing more xeno assignment then human. In the wake of the crumbling Empire and other tensions, the Legion would face a crippling financial aspects and desertion. Almost decommissioned as a whole, companies were merged and deconsecrated over the years as a string of new upstart governments within the Imperial remnants kept them active. Surviving became the impromptu motto with outdated equipment rehashed and stretched for the common soldier. In recent years, recommissioned by the heavily influenced Galidraani outfit under IMP, specifically the Barran family, the Legion had been revitalized and reinvested into its crumbling infrastructure.
