SPECIAL FEATURES

STRENGTHS
  • Suits The Needs: Fit for armored/combat assault vehicle operators [Tanks, Walkers, Repulsorlifts] the Combat Assault Tank armor is fit to take the same amount of punishment as its standard infantry counter part whilst specializing itself into taking environmental damage in the case of the vehicle being knocked out and lighting on fire the Combat Assault Tank armor is able to compensate for a rapid or even staggered exit from a vehicle in a full inferno.
WEAKNESSES
  • Achtung! Panzer! : Mean't for the only exposed feature of the wearer to be the upper body, the lower body is severely lacking in protection, revealing the reinforced armorweave under layer in place of armored composite plating on the upper body. However this allows for greater maneuverability even if sacrificing a great deal of the body to open fire.
DESCRIPTION
Developed as an evolution to the Sith Imperial Combat Engineer Armor Mk. I, the CAT Pattern armor offers more stalwart protection in exchange for a heavier weight while retaining a great deal of the previous armor pattern's maneuverability in and out of vehicles. With a reinforced helmet plating and upper body protection the CAT armor is mean't to sustain heavy punishment from being exposed over the hatch of a vehicle even if its users might find itself in recon or skirmish roles while also adding an extra layer of protection against environmental damage to allow for an increased margin of error when escaping a knocked out vehicle in spite of the dangerous and fatal circumstances.
