"None seriously," the Nightmother responded to Shamira's inquiry as they drew near. "Stay behind me until we know what the situation is." She could shield the others from any blaster fire that might be sent in their direction. Long enough to set the cretin on fire, or those accompanying her to find cover.

Soon enough Vytal strode into the Chamber before the Exarch began demonstrating her own power. The green mists of the undying lands continued to swirl about the Nightmother as her blazing, green eyes landed on the mercenary left among their number. Were it not for so many present with the ability to wipe the man from existence already, and their interesting in conversing with the slime, Vytal would had gladly spoken with him herself. A long, drawn out, invasive conversation. One he would be unlikely to return from alive.

With her eyebrows drawn low over her eyes, Vytal didn't look at Val so much as feel her condition. "Shamira, see to Chancillor Hadley," the words were accompanied by a finger pointing at the seated Valencia Hadley Valencia Hadley nursing one arm. Perhaps another would tend to her as well, such was not the Nightmother's primary concern. Shamira Karuto Shamira Karuto would be capable while the offender was buried under a mountain of power, authority, and outrage.

The three spectral spirits Vytal had sent ahead continued to patrol the area surrounding Cassus Akovin Cassus Akovin . A gentle reminder the Nightmother had not 'relaxed' given the man's apparent surrender. This wasn't over until the Knights and Defense Forces rooted out every conspirator, or positively confirmed their departure from the theater. Underestimating one's prey -- especially with their back against the wall -- was a good way to get killed.

"The other one will be in hand shortly," she intoned even while her eyes never left the one in their presence. Given a reason, any justification at all, Vytal would happily see Cassus' last moments were remembered by everyone present for weeks to come.

It wasn't turning out to be the rip-roaring excitement that one might have considered, in fact, Sam had a small regret that she hadn't taken a pack of cards to attempt to build a tower with. Although on second thought the art of card tower building was not for those so easily frustrated.

Speaking of.

How come Sam wasn't permitted the use of stims and yet here she was, actively injecting Hacks over here with neural stims? What kind of double standard of a universe was this? These grumblings were kept in her belly for a later date, after all, it wasn't the slicer that was shotblocking her, no, that was old man Soloman.

Kid, this. Kid, that. Kid kid kid. He made her feel like a child sometimes, actually, no, most of the time. The woman's entire body was a clenched ball of trapped rage when the next order finally came.

Time to go.

The next part of this was a horribly awkward scene to witness as Rodarch moved to wear Hacks like some kind of cybernetic rucksack, the slicer's mechanical arms around her like human-shaped straps. It was both annoying and cumbersome, never mind the technological shet she had to carry too. Was she here to be a pack mule? Was tha-

“Gonk!”

“No.”

Now, with Hacks on her back, the slicer's crap in her hands and a stupid fething droid following her Sam was finally ready to depart. Apparently not fast enough as while traversing through the derelict home they were confronted by a...

...naked man, with a purple lightsaber.

Pardon?

She wanted to scream. What kind of life was this?! How was this any better than being homeless and shockboxing poorly?! Comatose slicers, sexual predators and g-

“Gonk!”

The desire for violence as an immediate release was overwhelming. All she wanted was to drop the slicer, punt the droid and bum rush the sex pest. That's it. Just simpler, easy things that mostly involved thudding noises, and blood. The only thing that held Samantha Rodarch back was the thought of that bloody gravelly voice chiding her.

Kid. Kid. Kid. Ya karked up, kid. Ain't no good, kid. Kid. Kid.

Feth, she could already hear him in her head (although in fairness that might have been comms).

“FINE! I'M GOIN'! THAT'S WHAT YA WANT, RIGHT?!”

It didn't hold her back from yelling, however.

Without further ado, the Mandalorian opened a closet shoved the ridiculous droid in first and then followed suit, shutting and locking the door behind her.

Going into the closet seemed to be an odd decision. A great hiding place, if you were five-years-old. Not so much in this scenario. But there had to be an escape route, right? Of course there was. Sam might have been an imbecile but those that had planned this excursion weren't. A hole in the floor. Sam went first, still with Hacks on her back and still carrying all manner of junk she didn't fully understand and then the droid followed (having to be righted after the drop). The small precarious home-made tunnel would lead them to the sewer system.

Great.

Dread and rage aside it was hustle time and with a great strain upon her both her body and soul, she got a fecking move on.

EQUIPMENT: Voph's Robes, Voph's Lightsabers, Ring of Blades
OBJECTIVE: Defend Councilor Hadley
As the lightsabers returned to Voph's hands, his offhand saber deactivated and returned to his belt. In the same motion that he came to a stop behind Cassus Akovin Cassus Akovin and held his main-hand blade aloft near the man's neck. The tip of the blade pushed far forward enough to make the man keenly aware of its presence, nestled between neck and his raised arm. It would not wound the man in any way, but it was a stern message: Don't move, or suffer the consequences. "Be still, mercenary. Your life may yet be spared."

Voph's attention turned to Councilor Hadley as she pulled herself to her feet, feeling a slight pang of guilt wash over him as she favored her shoulder. It would heal in time, and Voph certainly hoped that she would forgive him for such, but alas, such were the hazards of hostage situations. "Get a medic for the Councilor. She's wounded." Voph turned his gaze back to the bounty hunter before him. He was a young one. No older than his second decade. Voph sighed quietly, the sound turning to a soft screech through his rebreather. He opened his mouth to say something, but was distracted by another arrival. He glanced up, offhand raising to track the cloud of darkness that was descending upon them.

Ysalamiri. Voph's mouth curled in repulsion at the thought of those damned lizards. This bounty hunter, at least, had come prepared. As Soloman Priest Soloman Priest stated the obvious, Voph's fingers curled as he activated the Ri-Qorit device built in to his armor, sending a wave of Radiation towards the man that would not prove harmful to him, but was sure to cook the Ysalamiri within his backpack alive.
"You would do well to hold your place, Hunter. The battle is already lost. Even if you managed to escape from this room, the whole of Geonosis will soon know of your presence. You will be hunted, and you will be killed. Surrender, and your life may be spared..."

"Oh fu-" would be the last thing Koda Fett and Soloman Priest heard from 'Big Sister'. Hacks yanked herself back into reality, the drones under her control now without command. The J57's crashed to the floor of the Citadel while the Deathstrike fell from the sky, and the NR-100, hidden in the air ducts, went offline. Hands grasped at her goggles and she slid it over her head and tossed it to the ground. She was on the back of Sam in the tunnel. Instantly she knew shit had hit the fan. They found them. How? she ran over it through her head, the CryptNet should have protected them, or at least put up some defense in keeping their location secret. A city of this size? It shouldn't have taken them only minutes. She had noticed them attempting to find their location but never did she realize they already knew.

The only answer she could fathom was that someone had ratted them out. Koda, she thought. No one Julian trusted, such as Soloman, would do it. The only one on the team Julian Valentine distrusted was Koda, it was why he had refused this mission. She didn't know if it was the anxiety of failure or nearly overdosing on neural stims but she was wracking her brain endlessly, or so it felt.

Mechanical arms let go of Sam and Hacks lowered herself to the floor, it felt like minutes had passed but only seconds. Time was running short. Whoever was after them would be coming through the tunnel soon. "Gonk," Hacks said, pointing an index finger at the short droid, "Do the thing!" The droid squealed "Gonk!" and rushed on its tiny legs back towards the way it had come, ticking. Just before it reached the entry point something within the droid made a loud wa-wump noise as air pressure was forced back in all directions and a spherical blast exploded outwards. The blast threw Hacks backwards, tumbling into Sam. The entire tunnel shook, dirt and stone came crashing down. The thermal detonator had vaporized the droid and the surrounding structure of the tunnel, destabilizing it. The way was blocked.

Hacks rolled over onto her belly, with a powerful thud a mechanical fist crushed the monitor Sam had been holding. She didn't want anyone to be tracking them. "Let's go," Hacks roared. She jumped to her feet and picked Sam up by all four arms with the ease that one would pick up a toy. She shoved Sam ahead of her. A large hole had been excavated into one of the main sewer passages, leading into the vast network below the capital city. Here the darkest cretins of Geonosis lived, and it wasn't the monsters down here you had to be worried about.

Hacks dove through the opening and landed in waist-deep sludge. It was dark down here, blacker than midnight. Without a light source she couldn't see, not even her own hands. She was drenched in urine and feces, the collective reek of hundreds of species in a city of tens of millions. The sewerage was running down on a slant, further into the earth. Hacks was swept down by it, unable to swim or control herself in the current. She felt herself slip under and the urge to vomit surged. She splashed and flailed as she was swept further and further down in a black abyss of human and alien waste.

The entire situation was chaos with seemingly the entire CIS force appearing to deal with what Kyber could only call the bravest and most incompetent group of bounty hunters the shard had ever seen. What did they expect to accomplish by attempting to kidnap someone in the middle of a meeting with some of the most powerful beings in the confederacy. They had a chance to surrender with a low chance of being harmed but instead took to long and a Knight Obsidian went to cut them in half. One rolled away evading the brunt of one lightsaber strike and limped away to Maker knows where while the other fell to the ground alive but defeated.

Kyber signaled his Shadowghoul droid to give follow which the droid did by activating its cloak mode and following Arwen Hadd Arwen Hadd . The trail of blood the bounty hunter left was easy for the droid to follow and report the location of the bounty hunter to Kyber.

"If Those Ones will Excuse This One. This One has an itch to scratch" before turning off and on his left photoreceptor in some form of attempt to imitate a wink. As he went to leave the room to head outside and find the other bounty hunter his droid body started to slow down. Quickly Kyber powered on the droid systems he would normally save power by using the force to control them. Atlesst this one was smart enough to bring a pet thought Kyber.

When the doors opened Kyber couldn't help but audibly laugh at yet another bounty hunter appearing who apparently was from a completely different group than the last two. Kyber walked up to the door waved his hand as if to say to Soloman Priest Soloman Priest to please move as he needed to go past

"Apologies but the bounty hunter limit has been reached. This One suggests that That One leave the planet via the ship That One came on before That One is arrested"

Kyber then would attempt to close the door behind him not caring which side of the door the new bounty hunter was. After all it was best to act like a stupid droid instead of a threat to this bounty hunter while the lizard still prevented his force powers and he still wanted to catch up to the injured one before someone else arrested him.

Kyber seemed keen to humor Soloman Priest Soloman Priest even after Kyyrk Kyyrk delivered ill news to the late arrival. Vytal, however, was in no such mood. She turned slowly to face the man until her glowing, green eyes were upon his masked face. Clawed fingertips reached out in his direction and slowly curled and uncurled in waves. "By all means," a smile spread over her black lips, "come in... and kneel. Or run, and know no matter how far you go, a Nightmother's curse always finds its prey."

It didn't matter that Voph could handedly deal with the Ysalamiri. That the man had one and thought to keep Vytal from communing with the spirits -- ignoring all else that had transpired -- was enough to become a welcome guest. Oh, he did look cold too didn't he; nothing a nice, warm fire wouldn't fix. If only the Exarchs would spare their latest guest for a few minutes.

Soloman could try to make a break for it, of course. Pray the lizard wasn't baked before he could somehow get a far enough lead the Nightmother, Exarch Talon, and the Vicelord himself couldn't snap him back like a whip the second the suppression field perished in what Vytal hoped was an agonizing death. Yes, a Witch cherished nature, and even the Ysalamiri deserved to live... unless they were a weapon used by the enemy, and then practically speaking the poor dear simply had to die.

Skipping down the streets, he was going closer to the border, starting fires in shops and permanently maiming, civilians. One man rushed him with a pipe, the man fell, no junk remaining. Renn was loading more explosive rounds into his revolver as he walked down. Yanking his rifle, he shot a propane tank, causing another fire. Looking at a map, he was close to the border, walked into thin air (his ship), walked out with explosive charges, planting them across the closest buildings. Once all were set he blew four buildings to the ground.

Walking back he grinned looking at the destruction he caused, "And no one who could actually challenge me to fight, disappointing. Either way, it was fun while it lasted."

While he would've liked fighting someone worthy, he did want to leave before he was being attacked by everyone who's left. Pulling a sheet of paper he crossed the Confederacy. "Another bounty, or at least I assume they wouldn't let me go without a price."

Walking towards his ship he was slow hoping someone would actually come to fight him. Looking back, he laughed as he crossed the border. (He is still on planet)

Surrender? Leave? A nightmother finds its prey?
Soloman found a certain annoyance in their sudden disregard for his Mandalorian pride; even if he blatantly ignored it himself. Anger, one of his primary colors, grew red hot as the various Force Sensitives spoke - and one even raised a Ri Qorit Disabler to kill his pet. All things considered -
He wasn’t very happy about that.
The bounty hunter knew that if he could get his gunship into a firing angle, he could lay a swath of destruction through the many situated around him - but judging by the sudden warning on his heads up display, he somehow doubted that was possible for the moment. Instead, he’d have to improvise to buy himself some time -
It was, afterall, a little late to surrender and expect any amount of mercy.
He exhaled slow - offering a single, echo’ing word through his vocabulator;
Nah.”
The holster on his thigh turned upward in the blink of eye, faster than human reactions - and it fired two nerve gas rounds directly at Voph’s Ri Qorit, which luckily was far enough out of range that he had a chance to stop it before it got his Ysalamiri; though that wouldn’t last, he was sure. The rounds fired were faster than most, and small - specifically designed to penetrate the super human reactions of a Force Sensitive, and even if they missed, the FEX-M3 nerve gas would see to it there wouldn’t be much left. ( Kyyrk Kyyrk )
At the same time, Soloman noticed he had a rather dangerous droid approaching him. While he avoided the uncessary comments baout distance, he instead offered the droid the warmest welcome he could - a hip fired two shot combo from the Inferos Distruptor slung on his shoulder. Eight shots a piece, sixteen when his judgement had passed - each round was capable of overcoming an armored opponent; and would even one hit, Kyber Kyber would be in trouble.
The last offense he faced however, was from the Nightmother - who looked at him more like a piece of meat than a man. A shame Soloman only had two arms - he couldn’t directly fire on her yet; nor should he. Instead, one of the various droids packed into his armor would release from its docking mechanism and provide support; though it’d be far slower than the other means. Still in his field of protection, the droid began to fire at her in a span of a few seconds - capable of offering Soloman a momentary means of force multiplication. ( Vytal Noctura Vytal Noctura )
He doubted he’d survive this, but what was a Mandalorian that surrendered? A Dar’manda - but he couldn’t help but remember that was exactly what he was; so he offered a quick word through the radio once more -
Koda, I need that support. Now.”

Oh. Oh my. This room was certainly a mess.

These were the first thoughts that flashed through the redhead’s mind as the witches entered into the room. It looked as though quite a battle had gone on in here. Certainly not something one would expect to see in a conference room for government officials. Though, from what had supposedly happened, a little violence was not to be unexpected. Not that Shamira had hoped anyone had gotten hurt. That, unfortunately, was not the case, as she was pointed toward a blonde woman in a chair, holding onto her shoulder in what looked like a very painful state.

Avoiding what looked to be an ongoing conflict, one that the Nightmother looked to be engaging in herself, Shamira made her way around the broken furniture until she was kneeling next to the injured vicelord. “Hello there,” she stated, a smile crossing her thin lips as she continued, “my name is Shamira. I’m going to help you as best I can.” Make the patient feel comfortable, trust you. That’s what her mother had always taught her about treating those with injuries. If they patient trusted you, then you could help them better. No good to have a patient fighting back. No, no good at all.

The first thing Shamira did was reach into her pack, shifting around in it until she pulled out a small, leather pouch. It was opened, and two small, blue berries poured out, spotted with tiny red dots. She held out her open hand to the government official, alongside another smile. “Chew these and then swallow them. They make for good pain reliefs.” When the woman took and ate the berries, Shamira would begin the next task, figuring out exactly what was wrong with her shoulder. She eased Valencia’s hand that held the shoulder slowly back into her lap, so she could fully examine the injured area without any sort of distraction.

Firmly, knowing the berries would be doing their job, the young witch’s fingers worked their way around the shoulder, feeling for any sort of dislocations or misplacements. One thing was for sure, the shoulder was out of socket, and that meant a painful resetting was the only way to begin the healing process. While her hand reached back into her pack, pulling out a roll of gauze, the redhead turned back to Valencia with that same soft, comforting smile. “I’ll have to reset it. Those berries should already be numbing the pain, and will continue to completely numb the pain while I do this.” Her smile turned into a thin line, head tilting lightly as her eyes caught the viceroy’s. “there will be a pinch when I reset it though. But the berries will make the pain go away eventually.”

Knowing there was nothing more to be said, her attention focused back on the shoulder, taking a few deep breaths, calming herself. Her hands reached down, one on the top of the shoulder, and the other taking a firm grasp of her bicep. “Here we go…three..two…one.” With the countdown done, she first pulled the arm out, then pushed it upward, until the familiar feeling of it slipping back into the place could be felt. Smiling to herself, knowing the hard part was pretty much done, began to slowly wrap up the shoulder in the gauze, doing her best to make a makeshift sling of sorts. Packing study sticks or planks next time would be a necessity. Things to remember for next time.

By the time she was finished, the viceroy had a nice sling, enough to at least set her shoulder until Valencia could get a proper one. Shamira packed her things back into her bag, then looked up to the woman with her little smile, glancing from the shoulder to the blonde.
“How’s it feel? I’ve got a few more berries if you need them.”

Spiderweb cracks in the Force fractured it in every direction. If the Dark Side was considered an unnatural phenomenon and it permeated around murderous intent, then this quarter of the Sprawl was black as midnight.

It did not take long to pinpoint the epicenter of the disturbance. The Bounty Hunter was making a racket even as he made his way back to his ship. Indeed, even after he had made it to safety, the man went back to cause more calamity.

Golbah City was the largest metropolis in the Confederacy. It was her crown jewel, and the sheer vastness of it dwarfed a small planet. Therefore, while the damage and chaos were considerable, they were hardly a large sum in the grand scheme of Southern Systems lives and holdings.

But, they were still unacceptable losses.

The multitude of explosions caused permacrete to shiver beneath them as Alkor approached. Hellfire encircled the Hunter like an infernal spotlight, painting a target for the Jen'jidai. Sirens were screaming all around them. Stragglers that were slower, older, or unable to immediately respond to evacuation protocols got caught in the crossfire.

The damage was already done. Alkor couldn't make it any worse if he tried. And he was going to try his damnedest.

Whoever this man was, he liked fire. He liked death. Alkor was going to give him both.

He palmed the Firewall Grenade as he moved full tilt toward the man, amid ash and debris. The darkness surged through him, coating his muscles with it's corruption and oiling his bones with raw power.

Time stalled, or it seemed to. Everything moved at a crawl around him, and Alkor's elbow and wrist snapped at breakneck velocity in comparison.

He sent the ordnance hurtling toward the man at center mass, just under subsonic speed.

Gerwald did not wait for Kiff or his unit of troopers to make their move. The mando and the slicer were escaping, and through a closet. The Lupine wanted his prize, and while he would have normally been content to let them escape, he was not going to let Srina Talon Srina Talon down. He owed her his life, and as such whatever she commanded it was Gerwald's to obey.
Opening the door to the closet revealed a hole in the floor, one Gerwald would be too large to fit through in his current form. Gerwald dropped the lightsaber, and dropped through the hole in the floor, landing on four paws, a wolf once again. A howl escaped his throat as the beast began to chase after the trio. Gerwald only needed to bring something back to the Exarch to show his mission was a success. That was going to prove difficult however as the droid halted and let out an explosion which sent a shock wave right for the wolf.
Gerwald was knocked back, whining as his rib cage hit the wall behind him. Dust flew about making it difficult for anyone to see. Anyone approaching the closet would have a dust cloud flying up in their face.
When the dust settled, it was clear the tunnel was caved in. There would be no pursuing them on foot, at least not the direction they came. Gerwald cursed internally knowing that small bits of the droid were all that remained to show he had chased off the hacker and its guard. It was a small contribution, but at least they were no longer a threat, at least today. Any thought of trying to pursue them faded. Civilians were still being killed in the streets, and Gerwald was needed elsewhere.

"I have no time to fight with egos and small minds"

Srina frowned.

In the initial slurry of chaos and action of this erroneous attack Valencia Hadley Valencia Hadley had been injured. Intolerable. “Do not thank me yet.”, she spoke, briefly, to the Councilor. The words were quiet. Srina was uncertain that they would even be heard, but one captured hunter, did not equate to an end of hostilities. It was a strange bit of work for Bounty Hunters to openly assault an entire governing body for one mark. Was it pride that led them to take such foolish measures for a relatively low amount of credits? Or was there something else afoot? Some plot that she did not yet see? Understanding the true nature of people in the galaxy had never been her purview. She restored order. By hook or by crook, the killing, the fighting, the grandstanding would all end before the next sunrise.

Her holo-comm crackled. Koda Fett. Of course, he had stipulations without explanation. Due to the alerts in the system, she was hesitant to respond. Again—Anger welled beneath her sternum. She loathed the voice that echoed through her earpiece. He was a nuisance, a coward, and a thorn in her side. Unfortunately, he was also a sharp tool. One did not ignore the sharpest tools in their arsenal when a battle arrived. It wasn’t war, certainly, but the pale-skinned Echani still intended to win.

No one would abduct a member of the Confederacy before her eyes. From the lowest class to the highest—It was wholly and completely unacceptable. Not while she lived and breathed.

“Do not cross me.”

Koda Fett Koda Fett would find her location embedded in the transmission. Four cold words would speak louder than a screaming monologue ever could. He knew her, well enough, to know that her relative silence was always a precursor to something very different. Effective, and brutal. The invaders were killing Confederate civilians in the streets for a mere bounty. The point of no return, the end of her patience, was fast approaching.

Corrupted, golden eyes, remained glued to the only courier [ Cassus Akovin Cassus Akovin ] left. He was engaging with Kyyrk Kyyrk and clearly had a few tricks up his sleeve. Still. It wasn’t enough. If she were a being capable of pity, she might have exuded it. To be caught in a web of arachnids and predators, with no way out, was a grim outcome. Grim, but now, an unavoidable consequence.

The single opponent in the room stopped fighting. He did not speak, but raised his hands, and the Exarch nodded her wintry head. Voph clarified this laying down of arms further but for now, she had seen plenty, and would accept the surrender unless he gave her reason not to. “Enough. He has yielded.”

Their systems suddenly seemed to be back under their control. Reports began to filter through her holo-comm again, but nothing, would overcome the sound of an explosion going off in the distance. The room had grown smaller while more bodies piled in, though, Srina was satisfied that Vytal Noctura Vytal Noctura sent Shamira Karuto Shamira Karuto to tend to Ms. Hadley. She left the security of the faux-courier to the Nightmother. The more the fighting continued in Golbah City the more their citizens would suffer. Not all, were droids. “If they surrender—Do not execute.”

Srina would speak with them when all was said and done. Each of them.

The sensation of nothingness, like white noise, was fast on the approach. Karking lizards. The Exarch turned around to see a man in armor [ Soloman Priest Soloman Priest ], somehow, make it through the doorway that she had completely sealed in response to their systems being under attack. Perhaps she’d missed one. The words that fell from him seemed bereft of any real conviction…But he spoke them all the same. Here for the girl? A singular eyebrow raised.

She was distantly aware that their attacker turned guest claimed distance from the armor-clad intruder. Time would tell. One menace at a time. Speaking of— Kyber Kyber chose that moment to take his leave. It was a strange, strange droid, that often made her wonder if his memory cores had been damaged in some way. The exchange between it and the newest bounty hunter caused a headache to begin pressing in on her temples. Everyone talked too much about so very, very little.

Oddly enough it was the same feeling she had when listening to the Viceroy sneer and take jabs whenever they could. Ah, politics.

Srina planted herself deliberately between the mercenary Soloman Priest Soloman Priest and Valencia Hadley Valencia Hadley . He had several hoops to jump through before crossing her. She wasn’t quite close enough to fully feel the effects of the ysalamiri but it wouldn’t be long. The presence of the creature was an annoyance, however, it was something that she had long ago learned to live with. Fish liked to swim, birds flew, and Mandalorians loved force-neutralizing bubbles. It was just the way of things. Her hand slipped behind her back to grasp the hilt of her lightsaber.

The movement was slight but the sudden eruption of a red blade was undeniable. The Force was not a tool she had ever required to fight. She was Echani, first. Her stance widened slightly while she watched the style of the newcomer. Thus far, he relied heavily on his kit. Interesting. Almost as interesting as the reports of a foreign gunship hovering far too near. Amelia von Sorenn Amelia von Sorenn would soon be in place, not to mention, the rest of the CDF that were likely to engage. That was their area. This was hers.

The bounty hunter would not pass.

1.) OOC - If you need me to edit/I misread please let me know. There's a lot to follow.
2.) No further action was taken against Cassus Akovin Cassus Akovin . He has surrendered, twice, which is solid enough unless he changes his mind.
3.) Acknowledged that systems are coming back online.
4.) Acknowledged that Soloman Priest Soloman Priest has entered & the lizard thing. Hasn't engaged, yet, cause it's already a 2-3 x 1.
5.) Told Koda Fett Koda Fett where to find her and subsequently Ms. Hadley.
6.) Relying on Amelia von Sorenn Amelia von Sorenn / Kiff Brayde Kiff Brayde to secure the skies. KO would be great to secure the streets. Dead civvies, and all.
7.) If I didn't respond to you in the assembly hall it's because Srina wasn't close enough to hear side comments.

The Mandalorian continued to move about the Citadel in a laxed sense - slow, deliberate movements in the brief pause between communications. Talon entrusted Fett to some extent; the potential to be fatal remained, though twice over in the case concerning Soloman Priest - into the roses and to never embrace the scent, nor sight... purely the thorns that struck at flesh, pricked the skin and brought forth the crimson. He considered a response to Soloman once, twice, three times more as the calibrations registered among the electrics and notified the Bounty Hunter of the specifics required.
There. He spoke, wordless in the thought once the interior ran rampant. Koda pushed onwards, intent to arrive and earn more than enough payment for the easiest task in a long, long time.
"Soloman," He said, answering the desperate request. "I've secured a better score. You retreat and live now, and then I might need to share."

Further destruction of Confederate property or innocent lives taken would not stand as the Force granted the Omwati the answers she sought at last. As a CDF transport passed overhead, Alluria leapt into the ship, approaching the pilot as she pointed in the direction from which the path of chaos had been carved. "Hostiles are in that zone of the sector. Fly over and deploy further back to secure injured. The target shall be left to us." She had not been one to give in to the darkness pulling at her mind, yet the needless destruction brought upon Golbah City was something she would not tolerate. AS the transport travelled to the pin pointed position, she stepped into the open door on its side, watching the cityscape zoom by beneath as the calm streets turn to chaotic scenes of what was surely a wake left behind.
Ahead, she spotted Alkor Centaris Alkor Centaris as the grenade was tossed. "I'm dropping here." She stated to the pilot before stepping out of the transport which soon turned and moved out of the area to continue as previously tasked. The Force granted her a painless landing, lightsabers flying into her palms as twin blades of ethereal hue sprang to life, her eyes looking past her ally and toward the one responsible for all of the destruction. She would follow the former Knight Commander's lead, not wishing to stand in his way of their target.

"Let's put an end to this.."

Wait. The thing? What was the thing that Gonk di-

Then it exploded, so helpfully launching a slicer into Sam and knocking the increasingly rage constipated woman over and onto her face, which while painful was also just far more annoying. Who likes eating a dirt sandwich? Nobody.

However, there was only time to seethe as Rodarch found herself being scooped up like a baby by Hacks and her frankly confusing amount of limbs. This was also offensive as if there wasn't enough irritation born out of Soloman treating her like a child, now she was being manhandled like one. The time to protest, however, would be later. As there was still the pressing issue of getting the hell out of dodge.

Oh, but the protests would be fierce and just when they came. Maybe even violent.

Sam had never been in a sewer before. There was an expectation of unpleasantness naturally, but how bad could it have been? A little smelly, a little dirty. Not ideal, but there were worse things out there surely. Like naked howling men on the prowl.

My sweet summer child.

The Mandalorian realised that her thinking had been wrong as she dove through the hole and landed in what could only be described as toilet slurry. A lot of things hit her at that moment. Mostly the smell. Oh, feth, the smell. Having slummed it on Nar Shaddaa you'd think these kind smells would be commonplace, not too much to bother her. No, this was the pinnacle of human waste amplified beyond belief. It was sickly sweet and stagnant and as she stood up to her waist in this filth Sam opted to breathe with her mouth instead.

Kark, she could even taste it.

Then it happened. A dip. A slip. Suddenly Rodarch wasn't on her feet any more, suddenly joining Hacks in the status of flushed away.

Something
went in her mouth as her stupid mouth-breathing face became submerged for but a moment as manic attempts to resurface were made. Suddenly concerns of sanitary conditions were wiped away and replaced with concerns of dying in a literal sea of shet. She became a one-woman powerhouse of flailing, splashing and shouting as the pair were swept away by the sewer's current.

Eventually. Mercifully. The torrent of putrid waste drained away down a large grate that the pair were too large to fit through.

Sam coughed and hacked as she crawled on hands and knees away from the draining sewage, eyes momentarily blinded as the sting from a future bacterial infection reigned both true and strong. She had become piss and shet, in every single pore of exposed skin. In her ears, her nose, and oh feth even her mouth. Her body demanded a purge, with Rodarch's coughs turning quickly into retching that let loose a stream of hearty vomit.

And again.

Then a horrific scream, which didn't seem to stop.

Renn's HUD lit up as soon as the grenade was out and immediately, rolling out of the fires reach. The fires licked at his cloak, and he pulled it off, throwing it to the flame. On a knee he pulled his R82 off of his back firing at Alkor's nonlethal body parts. Pulling the weapon onto his back he yanked his revolver out and shot the ground with an explosive round near Alkor, attempting to hit him. Again he fired another between them, and using the smoke he ran into a building, reloaded the R82 and poking it between two lamps that were dark.

The weapon was hard to see, but if one looked hard enough they could spot it. The weapon was aimed right at Alkor's leg and waited calming his breath, it slowing coming to a stop. Renn shot the weapon, producing a load bang, he looked on firing the second shot. He hoped it hit, he had greater plans for this foe.

The Hunter had bigger things to worry about than shooting at Alkor. He managed to get out of the way of any impact, but that didn't stop the grenade from colliding with something previously unseen. It made contact with the hull of the hidden ship, and immediately, it sprang to life. The body ripped open and green slop sloshed out, thrown in all directions by a spring loaded mechanism. It painted the ground, the buildings, and anything within a meter and a half of the blast in Napalm.

And the trigger flare ignited the adhesive death to disastrous effect. Metal whined and protested the heat. Combustible items went up immediately. The scene became an inferno.

When he'd thrown it, Alkor hadn't accounted for the ship. His intention was largely just to splash the Hunter and ideally drop him. Pragmatically, some of his armor might catch, a weapon or two- but the ship, it's entrance, and possibly even its fuselage were well within the blast radius.

Alkor continued in his motion by letting his arm follow through, lowering his body as he ran. The explosions, one after another, wracked the ground beneath him and jarred his movements a fraction, but with his perceptions and reactions still in the throes of Force Speed, adjustments were infinitely more manageable. His hand gripped the hilt of his lightsaber and ripped it from his belt, even as he raced just ahead of the blasting zone.

His opponent fired off several shots at several areas of his body, all of them wide. The Jen'jidai was a difficult target to track, even with an aim assist- in light of his raw speed, and the chaos all around them.

Alkor utilized that devastation to propel himself out of sight. Smoke roiled skyward all around them, and between them, and by the time he could see clearly again the man was gone. Force Speed had bled from his being and left him with a feeling of inadequacy and loss, and a fiery sensation burning in his blood.

That was his anger. His frustration. His malice.

He left the blade dormant for the moment. There was no need to ignite it and signal his position to the enemy. No, with the conflict joined and his path to freedom denied to him, the Hunter would be easy prey

Alkor just had to wait, and Hunter would become Hunted.

Renn sighed in annoyance, a Jedi. The grenade hit his ship, but he had stripped a lot of it to increase speed of his ship. It’s fire suppression systems ended the fire before it could reach the fuel tank. Hitting a button on his arm, the ship shot into the air dropping a package down. It was completely cloaked and sat in atmosphere.

Renn had exited the shop, it promptly blew up behind him sending flame in front of him. In the package was many small explosive charges. Picking it up he began to use the smoke and place many of the charges. Renn had no idea where the enemy was, but he decided that he’d be destroying what he hadn’t, maybe an embassy or a powerful family.

He stood there looking around the smoke It to masking his location. All he read is that all charges were in where he placed them, and waited to see if they’d move. (You pick one up they all go off)

The Umbaran rolled his eyes. "Explain to me again, why we gotta cover his exit while putting ourselves at risk?"

"Remember back in the Cantonica System, when we apprehended those two Bounty Hunters who were getting away with our treasure guide?"

"Yeah." he replied, his eyes drifting past the Aqualish talking to him as his thoughts drifted "How could I ever forget the mountain of spice he led us to?"

"Well, remember how after we got him, there was another bounty hunter who was pursing the target, right? Mandalorian? Remember how he could have killed us, had already murdered Sticks, Shiv, and Gormak? Was about to murder you, but didn't because you had a blaster pointed at him and had you shot him the bounty cash he'd have gained would've just about paid for his armour repair so instead he let you walk off with the blue guy in exchange for a favour?"

"Oh. Oh yeah."

"Yeah."

The Aqualish rolled his eyes and returned to his station. Numbers and names went by on his screen, Ceros could barely make out anything from the chair behind his station on the bridge of the Eibon Spear. How exactly this Mandalorian managed to convince an Umbaran Pirate Lord to cover his behind during a high profile bounty hunt after which his face and name would be plastered all over the galactic network he still wasn't sure, but here he was, in Golbah City, on Geonosis, sitting in one of the major starports, down fifteen-hundred credits for false docking credentials, just waiting for a signal to get going. This was his life now, apparently, and there was little to do other than wait and hope to the Force or whatever other entity looked over him that the slicer he got recommended did a decent job.

---

A quarter-hour later

"Attention all citizens of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Golbah City is under attack. The Starport will be going into lockdown as part of emergency protocols. Please remain calm and ask your nearest security officer for aid should you require it. Repeat: Attention all citizens ..."

Ceros and his second in command exchanged glances. "So uh, part of those procedures will probably be increased security, eh?"

"Yup."

"That's bad in'it?" he added, a sly smile creeping onto his face.

"Yup."

"Wanna split?"

"Yup."

( Kiff Brayde Kiff Brayde )

The Aqualish officer walked over to the starship's main control panel and began starting up the engines. Ceros himself began ordering around his crew. Soon enough the Neeran-Class Raider Frigate began powering up proper inside its hangar. The docking bay's blast doors had been shut as part of the security procedures and noticing the power surge of the Eibon Spear spaceport security had begun hailing Ceros, though he did little more than dismiss any notification.

"What's the situation with our Mando?"

"Looks like he just broke into the capital building ... if our info's to trust."

"Absolute madman." The Umbaran replied under his breath, "Alright, let's get this door open and draw the heat our way. What's Solomon's status anyways?"

"Unknown, but we have fighters converging on his method of escape."

"What are we waiting for then? Blast 'em."

Explosions rattled the massive docking bay as its blast doors were torn apart by the Eibon Spear's weapons, leaving a hole sizeable enough to allow the frigate through and out into the city before any docking clamps could permanently lock the ship down. Through the smoke, the harrowing maw of the Neeran-class broke free, heading straight towards Golbah City's centre.
