  • Protection from exposure to chemicals
  • Protection from exposure to radiation
  • Protection from exposure to extreme temperatures
  • Protection from extreme pressure
  • Protection from Vacuum
  • High Grade Military Protection
Strengths:
  • High Grade Protection, In a Thin Package -
    • With substantial Duraplast hard points littered amongst many of the more unmovable portions of the body, while durable fabrics deftly woven with carefully placed ceramics make up the rest; the armor in itself is a great protective equipment against standard blasters in the galaxy. This however doesn't apply to kinetic weapons, or light sabers, as there is little in terms of energy dissipation nor kinetic dampeners; leave alone thick enough plates to stop the momentum of the slug from injuring the user.
  • Environmentally Friendly -
    • Able to withstand everything from the vacuum of space to more robust challenges such as Mustafar, the armor is entirely well regarded to move about many of the galaxies challenges with little harm to user; so long as they respect what they face. In turn, for those requiring standard environmental protection for a number of combat theaters, this is the underlay to acquire.
Weaknesses:
  • Bulkier Than Most -
    • Compared to most Armorweaves and Underlays found around the Galactic Market, The Corporis system finds a weakness in its bulk. Lacking in the 'nothing at all' like feeling of many of its competitors, it loses the advantage of movement to many of the more focused users; feeling more like a light weight traditional armor than a skin tight suit.
  • Cold Shock -
    • Although unlikely, should the suit ever be exposed to drastic temperature changes there is a severe chance of damage occurring to the self sealed and regulated systems beneath the armor. Effectively, should the compromise ever occur the user would be subjected to whatever the exterior enviroment would consist of, almost instantly. Most often, this would occur in near-death, if not outright ruin.
  • Specially Designed -
    • Unlike more Underlays, the additional hard points and auxiliary systems require a specially designed module to be utilized. Without being able to be put in just any armor, one must build a suit around the underlay to better incorporate both's strengths. Without this, it is entirely incompatible with more standard mass-produced armors.
DESCRIPTION

Corporis Skin Suit follows in line with many of its galactic predecessors, from more traditional armor weaves to otherwise supplementary underlays. However, while many of the grounds have been covered in both regards to much of the galaxy; something in between the outright massive defense of Vanir Technologies standard protection and the tactile assets found amongst the Sunwing Defense Fabrication SecondSkin was required. This is where Jaeger Solutions comes in, meeting between the bulwark and the tactician, with something able to compete with both.
Starting from the interior layer, a specially designed Durafiber Skin suit was established as a basis for much of the suits material. Able to resist the many extremes faced around the galaxy, this layer’s primary purpose is to protect its user from everything but the hellbent fire that is war. Building off thousands of years of tested and true methods, there is little equal in terms of its capacity to withstand both the cold and heat of exploration.
Still, the underlayer lacks much of the durability one would hope for in a well established military focused brand such as Jaeger. To compensate, a stronger FiberPlaster Outerlayer was woven intricately into the first, connecting them in perfect harmony. Together, these create a mixture of protection from both war and nature in a proud display of power against the natural order.
To drive home the protection of the armor, and its solo ability to perform without any additional armor on top of it, various hardpoints were added using reinforced duraplast plates that exist in placement to allow full mobility, while simultaneously working to protect the user from various kinetic, blaster, and ion related strikes. This works to not only protect the sensitive information suite beneath the armor, but also give a number of benefits to the user itself.
That is to say, while many of these additions benefit the wearer exponentially, there are serious restrictions to just how usable the armor is in the grand scheme of things. Compared to many other market equivalents, the armor is significantly thicker and less flexible; effectively ruining the chances of immediate acrobatic capacity many ‘light armor’ customers may be looking for. While stiffer upon purchase, many users are capable of overcoming and adapting to the thicker nature of the armor since it still is classified as ‘skin suit’ and ‘underlay’.
