"It's too dangerous Cassus, you're just a boy." Mother said, laid low in her bed aboard The Gauntlet's Off, pale white and thin.

Cassus pushed away the thought of his mother from his mind, as he stuffed the unconscious couriers in a supply closet. Quickly keying in the holographic scan of the courier, Cassus activated his disguise matrix and assumed his identity. Putting away the Neural Shuffler out of sight, Cassus brought a hand to his mouth and spoke.

"Couriers in position, en route to target," Cassus looked over to Arwen Hadd Arwen Hadd , "Ready?" Then began walking through the halls of the Assembly Building headed towards the Vicelord's booth where his Councillor was going to be. They were going to the belly of the beast of the Confederacy for one hell of a prize, but only if they made it out undetected. Cassus doubted any overt attack would work here, from some of the things he heard about the Viceroyalty.

It was strange being here, knowing that his mother had fought on Geonosis on two occasions, at first fighting for the Confederacy only to be later fighting against it. Such was the life of a mercenary. Maybe someday after scoring big on this Bounty the Confederacy will see the worth of his skill and try to hire him the same way they hired his mother. If this mission was successful, though, it would be a huge blow to the Confederacy's sense of security to have the Vicelord's Councillor kidnapped during a Special Session of the Viceroyalty. Hopefully, Crime Lord Lokex Daunto has powerful friends, because he will certainly have made powerful enemies after this is all over...

Golbah City, A wretched hive of scum and villainy, far as Joti was concerned. Politicians bickering over war and their own gains, carving a path of destruction across the galaxy everywhere they went, at least as far as she had heard. She wasn't oblivious to the fact that the stories were only ever half the truth, But she didn't particularly care at the moment. After the stories about tanaab and countless other massacres, The young bounty hunter had even gone so far as to refuse Confederate contracts, and considering how low her standards were, this was a sign of a real, deep seeded hatred. But considering how her people were so hated by everyone else, was it even considered unreasonable at this point?

<Red to team lead, Power plant's close, ETA three mike> She whispers to Cassus Akovin Cassus Akovin through her commlink over the team's secured channel.
The young mandalorian was perched atop one of the many tall spires in golbah city, The bug eyed lens of her helm focused on the power plant, getting familiar with whatever security they had on station, and relaying information to the other members of her team as needed.

<I got eyes on the plant, you two ready to have a little fun?> She comms the other two members of the diversionary team, Kovhorn Kovhorn and Joran Del-Finn Joran Del-Finn .

She couldn't believe she was actually doing this.. Kidnapping a viceroy, or senator, or whatever the hell they called these people. Probably a sith, knowing her luck.. Meanwhile her part to play involved a blatant act of terrorism, shutting down a power grid to spread panic across the capital! But there was money to be had, and the likelihood of anyone learning her identity was slim. The only name she'd given her team was "Red", so even if they did snitch, the authorities didn't have anything solid to go off of. This wasn't a guild contract, so her reputation wasn't going anywhere unless she wanted it to..

With all that in mind, She just needed to do her job here and remember to have fun. The latter would be no problem.

It was time. He had joined forces with a number of other bounty hunters in a plan to capture a woman, Valencia Hadley Valencia Hadley . The plan was for the courier team to get near, and for the distraction team to...well, be a distraction. Leaving the couriers the chance to escape. Once the distraction was sufficiently made he'd take his ship the-strill and pick them up. Thankfully the ship was wicked fast and had been designed with stealth in mind. Making escape an easy way. The only question was could they get the woman away from her friends and get everyone out of here first.

He'd set his ship down close enough that he could speak with it using his helmet and call it thanks to the design of his armor, but far enough away that it wouldn't be noticed due to being stealthed. He heard another member of the distraction team Aloy Vizsla Aloy Vizsla speak to them over the comms, "Ready and eager." he said with a chuckle preparing to turn the heavy cannon on once it was called for. He was probably one of the most armored of the group due to just how dense he'd had his Beskar'gam made. And naturally, that left him open to using a weapon that was slow and hefty. A RT-97C_heavy_blaster_rifle in his hands. There was a strap this time, so that if necessary he could hang it on himself. But there was probably no such need, short of a jedi or a tank, there wasn't going to be much that survived a sustained hit from this thing.

He was getting close, but there would obviously be security to the place. So he'd had to still keep some distance, especially with this kind of heavy weaponry. Once they were given the signal he could use his jetpack to start heading in, spraying that heavy blaster rifle to clear a path towards the target. Destroy the generator, the entire city would start running on emergency power. If they did have shields for this place, they wouldn't be running on much once they were done with it.

Possessions on him:
Dragon-beskargam (armor)
RT-97C_heavy_blaster_rifle (hands)
2 BSB (Blackmoor Sonic Blaster) (sides)
PS-1 Particle Shotgun (back)
Thermal detonators. 6x. back belt.
Ammo. (Thighs, belt, chest.)

Ship: the-strill.

He looked around, throwing on the uniform the last bit of the uniform, a little overwhelmed. This was the first time he was in a very large city, and on Geonosis, so he was taking a bit of time to process. However, he quickly steeled himself. He'd do the part of a courier just fine, but he was still nervous. He snapped back to attention once Cassus spoke, quickly saying, "Ready." He quickly checked his pistol, it wasn't much but it would do the trick.

He figured once this was all over, he'd be able to kick back for a bit, maybe find something a bit more stable and purchase some better gear just in case, but that was still assuming this would all go according to plan, and he was still nervous. Either way, it was too late the back out now, so he shoved it in the back of his mind and focused on the task at hand.

Renn sat in the back of the truck, it was parked on the street near an embassy. Cold steel resinated it’s temperature throughout the back, but the suit kept him warm. On his back he had a Precision Rifle and at his side a revolver.

The crate in front of him had his main weapon, an M808 Grenade Launcher. A grin appeared on Renn’s face as he flipped out his dagger and pried the crate open. From it he pulled out a case the launcher and an ammo strap, filled with grenades. The weapon was heavy, already loaded.

The temperature seemed to keep dropping in the back, the helmet feeling like cold steel. A knock on the back alerted him as an officer was rounding the corner. They were going to check it before they allowed it to park. Renn places the launcher down, his hand on the trigger hold. The back swung open and the guard was met with a blaster bolt, tearing most of his head off. Holstering the XR, he hefted the Grenade launcher out and fired at the first moving vehicle prompting an explosion. Tonight, the city burns.

Location: Golbah City, the Sprawl.
Equipment: I can crash an armory on the way, so literally anything- but also, nifty lightsabers, light armor, some Firewall Grenades (Will link when used)

His eyes snapped open. Cold sweat drenched his half-naked form as somewhere not so far off, an explosion rocked the foundations of the massive metropolis. Golbah City was so expansive that to hit one area of it was almost like a flea biting at the flesh of an animal- annoying, but overall, inconsequential in the grand scheme of Confederate operations.

Still, disruption of the peace required the mobilization of Defense Force assets and Security assets in the area and on call. While technically on leave of absence, Alkor could not ignore what he had felt in the Force. The Knight Obsidian hurried toward the door of his apartment, clasping the hilts of both his Lightsabers and securing them to his belt.

He pulled a cloak of shell-spider silk over his torso, but wore no proper shirt. There was no time to fully equip himself. The response had to be swift, and it had to be precise. The lives of the citizens were top priority according to the mandate of his oath.

When the door slid open, he did not immediately see the damage or the resulting fire. It was not necessarily in his immediate vicinity; however, it was altogether possible that no alarms had sounded yet.

He grabbed his commlink and on the network of the Knights Obsidian, he issued the call.

"Attention, this is Alkor Centaris. Golbah City has come under attack, this is not an exercise. Unknown number of assailants, scope of damage unconfirmed- all available Knights should mobilize immediately."

He knew his word carried no weight now that he had been stripped of the title Knight Commander, but the threat to the Confederacy was real enough. That, and if he was properly informed, the Viceroyalty were in session. That made this situation immensely more delicate.

Listening to the following discussion in regards to this Octarchy which was supposed to be a sufficient military force to enact the proposition of the Viceroy of Eriadu, the proposition made by the Viceroy of Vylmira seemed to be met with interest of the minister of war and Exarch Malvern, further increasing the chance of Eriadu getting exactly what it wanted. In the meantime though, it seemed some local reports of security forces were starting to become muddled and increasingly frantic. Keeping an eye out for this, Credius leaned towards the floating golden orb next to him and whispered a few things before turning towards the members of the guard he had taken with him into the Viceroyalty's assembly hall.

"Something seems to be brewing, go outside and contact the rest of the men aboard the Brabo," As the two guardsmen left his booth, Credius turned his attention back to the gathered officials again, wondering how many of them were keeping an eye on the news coming from outside. As he himself had no idea to what it all mounted, it was still paramount for the Exarch and Vicelord present to be under the highest security in case this was a terrorist attack. Thus with that in mind, the Viceroy of Eriadu messaged Adron Malvern Adron Malvern , Malok Malok and Caesar Kenway to keep an eye on their datapad in regards to what seems to be happening outside, as well as a request to deploy his own troops onto the Geonosian Capital to safeguard himself and his assets in case this was more than just some internal issue.

However, despite what the outcome of this...news might be, something like this could not come at a more opportune moment. Terrorists were simply a very useful pawn in the Viceroy's plans and even if the attack wasn't foreseen by the Sith Lord, it was at the very least a useful thing to happen and something he'd be a fool not to capitalize on. As such, it was almost impossible for the man not to grin rather faintly when scrolling through the increasing number of reports planetside. Again he leaned towards Kronos and this time, some communication on the outside had struck through and this time the reports affirmed what he had thought to have happened.

Immediately Credius stood up from his chair, slamming his hands upon the railing of his booth, clearing his throat as he attempted to demand all attention within the assembly.
"My esteemed colleagues, I propose we put a halt to the current proceedings, as according to reports I am getting from outside, Golbah city is apparently under attack. Minister Kenway, I request you grant me the approval to aid in putting down this... insurrection."

The morning had started off so well too, well as good as it could when you had a pile of paperwork to do. But at least she'd had a nice cup of tea to smooth her way through sorting out the pile of paperwork that somehow found its way onto the Exarch's desk. Everything had to be sorted by topic and by urgency before the Exarch got to it, so she could get through the paperwork efficiently. The adjunct knew that she could have just passed off some of the work onto the droids that littered the hallways and offices of the CIS. It was just, well she wouldn't admit it to anyone else but she actually found that she enjoyed the work. There was something about settling behind a desk to read through the reports that she found relaxing.

At least it had been relaxing until her commlink flared to life, the voice of Master Alkor Centaris sounding out over the airwaves, his voice cutting through the silence she'd wrapped around herself. A soft sigh slipped from the woman's as she pushed her chair back, rising to her feet. Blue eyes glanced back in the direction of her quarters, measuring the time it would take to walk back and get her gear before shaking her head. Too long, especially with enemy forces already in the city.

Footsteps echoed as the woman made for the door, gesturing to her commlink, letting it drift into her palm as she lifted it to her lips. "This is Lunara, I'm on my way to the city now, I'll meet you there Alkor."

Hopefully, the CDF and other knights would leave her with at least one of the assailants to handle, she felt the need to take out her frustration on having her morning disrupted on someone. By the time she got back, her tea would be cold.

Tsian found herself automatically nodding along in agreement with Exarch Malvern as he supported her stance on the Eternal Empire. She looked down at her own datapad to check something to satisfy her own curiosity, if only to amuse herself while the Ra'katha Viceroy asked for new trade laws. Most of what was redacted from the Octarchy reports were the ship capabilities and schematics, for reasons hopefully obvious. But mission reports from their exploits, most prominently the invasion of Tanaab, wove a tale of just what the Octarchy was capable of at the height of its power. Particularly with their founder at the helm once again.

Tsian's brow furrowed as an alert appeared on her datapad. Message from Darcy. Voph's AI. Why would she be sending Tsian a message?

Tsian tapped the button to read it. Explosion has occurred within Golbah City. Metrics indicate it was within the senatorial district. You may be in danger.

Tsian looked up, only to realize Credius was already speaking to the same. She reached down, and her hands brushed against the sidearm resting on her hip. All part of the military uniform, and a weapon she was intimately familiar with. She'd use it if need be, but for the time being, she opted to hold her position, ready to spring into action should the Viceroyalty see fit to evacuate, or if hostiles should breach the chamber. She glanced at her datapad once more, and sent a simple message in reply. Danger Acknowledged. Resolve Protocol.

It had been a long time, a very long time, since Taramaz had set foot on Geonosis. Though he had good reason. It had occurred to him in a Force Vision a week prior that some event of importance would occur on Geonosis, in the capital city of Golbah. He had foreseen that his presence would play some role in his return to the Confederacy, and to his family. So he had pushed one of his last possessions of value to it's limits, flying the Knights Obsidian Scimitar-II down to the surface of Geonosis.

Rather more of a crash landing than smooth entry. The engines had suffered a catastrophic failure upon entry, almost undoubtedly due to the conditions that lead to his disappearance from all public eyes. The ship had landed three or so kilometres out from Golbah City, roughly, according to the last readings of the dying ship. He had spent the better part of four hours trudging through the sandy dunes to reach the city. He wore a leather cloak, completely covering his pitch black armour, and to protect it from the sands.

He still wore the armour and wielded the weapons, however damaged or undamaged they were, that he had when he had disappeared. His ammo was limited to three magazines in the rifle, and two in the sidearm. He had no doubt he'd end up using atleast one of his weapons today, and had very little he would use up all of his ammunition.

The M.I.A. Knights Obsidian Master was walking through the streets of Geonosis when he heard, and saw the signs of an explosion. His cold, grey eyes shifted behind the crimson visor towards the explosion's source, then focused back on his course. He then sensed a familiar presence, of a Knights Obsidian known to him as Alkor Centaris Alkor Centaris , nearby. His disappearance had circulated through Knights Obsidian channels, and not one bit of information had been able to surface. He had been sent to investigate mention of an Artefact of the Force on a moon orbiting a backwater planet on the reaches of Confederacy Space. The last recorded transmission was saying he had landed on the moon, and would begin investigation. When he was due to report in, nothing came. Even the most thorough examination of the situation revealed nothing, it's as if he had disappeared, though there were no signs of his ship taking back off, or of him leaving the ship to begin with.

He removed his helmet, holding it under his arm, showing his features which were now 30 years younger, and his hair blond now. His eyes had gone from their purple and red mix to a dull, colourless gray. He then kept walking, noticing Alkor exiting an apartment building. The thirteen foot, cloaked figure then began walking faster, purposefully bumping into the man.

He quickly approached the entrance to the entrance to the hall, glancing around and checking on Cassus Akovin Cassus Akovin as he walked. It had been relatively easy to get past the guards, they just said that they had a very urgent message to deliver, combined with some recent chaos and a bit of sprinkling of you'll lose your job if you don't let us through, it had done the trick.

He eyed the members of the Viceroyalty and the guards, doing his best to stay out of their watchfull gazes while not acting suspicious. He glanced around, looking for his target, and saw her, he quickly approached Valencia Hadley Valencia Hadley , and asked, in a whisper, "Excuse me? You are Valencia Hadley I assume?" "I have no time to fight with egos and small minds"

Once upon a time, the Echani had felt a sense of awe while walking through the halls of the Citadel. She arrived without a herald, without frivolity, and remained on the edges of the forum. There were spaces all around. Behind the podium. Near the Vicelord, Adron Malvern, or even if the stands, if she so chose. The slender Exarch had spent her time since the last summit travelling. Gathering information. Looking for the truth…Whatever it may be. Silver eyes reflected from the shadows that clung to her form.

The Force was with her. The Darkside—Was with her.

Tempers were already hot. Opinions everywhere. The pale-skinned Exarch was bored to death.

The most she had ever spoken in any assembly had involved the Eternal Empire. Srina kept her own counsel, aside, from the soft walks she took in the minds of those she trusted. She had taken the High Councilor Kyyrk Kyyrk with her on her excursions to ensure that her decisions were unbiased. Most would take offence to select members of the Viceroyalty calling her capability and loyalties into question. She did not. She was pragmatic and logical to a fault. Just because she could compartmentalize her feelings until they became what she wished—Didn’t mean that everyone could.

A familiar scuttling of paws on the marble floor alerted her to the fact that Gerwald Lechner had arrived. Late. She reached down to rest a hand upon his furred head. It was as close to a gesture of fondness as he would ever get. Even this would be foreign. “Mind your clock, wolf.”

She did not tolerate lateness or impudence.

The voice of Malok Malok filled the air as it often did. He had a way of speaking that tended to turn the tide in his favor. The slender creature listened. Swathed in black, a lightsaber, newly created, resting neatly along her spine. It was an untraditional place to holster a lazer-sword but it was how she had carried her vibroblades for years. Some of the details that spewed from Custani Valcho Custani Valcho were confusing at best. How…Why would they regulate the manufacture of their arms to one world?

That created an obvious and glaring weakness that thank the Force Adron Malvern Adron Malvern pointed out. The Confederacy spanned hundreds of systems. No matter how skilled or efficient—One location would never be enough to supply all that was required of their Droid Army.

Your Grace.

Srina couldn’t hold a darklit chuckle that rolled through her chest. The notion of Darth Metus being referred to as “Your Grace” was laughable at best. He was no Emperor. He was no King. The position of the Vicelord was elected. The Droid Army, the Confederate Forces, did not supplant the forces of their sovereign systems unless there was a reason for it. The taxes that all systems paid ensured this. Simply put—It wasn’t necessary.

She had to refrain from pinching her nose at one point.

Couldn’t these Viceroys speak plainly? Simply state what you wish and be done with it. The gilded words that were filled with political landmines were a waste of time and resources.

Thus far—Nothing required her intervention. The silence was the most eloquent reply.

Her comm went off in her ear like a claxon.

"Attention, this is Alkor Centaris. Golbah City has come under attack, this is not an exercise. Unknown number of assailants, scope of damage unconfirmed- all available Knights should mobilize immediately."

Her posture straightened and her sluggish blood began to move. The Citadel was the most protected building in the Crown. Geonosis itself had a metric-chitton of security. There were droids built into the walls. How were they suddenly under attack without warning?

No one should have been able to enter the assembly hall without proper credentials. No one.

Silver eyes stared at the back of a man she didn’t know. But, there were plenty unknown to her in the room. Proxy personnel for Viceroy, etc. Even still. They knew the protocol.

“I will oversee the evacuation of Viceroy that cannot or do not wish to defend themselves. Afterwards, I will circle back. Agreed?”, her words went to Adron Malvern Adron Malvern and Malok Malok . If they had other wishes for her presence, they would make it known.

Either way – She never shied from a fight.

Voph emerged from the conference room even more frustrated than when he went in, if that were possible. He hated logistics meetings. Normally it could have been handled by his underlings, but as both a Master within the Acanthus School, and the High Councilor of Vylmira, he felt obligated to play a role in the process establishing the new school on Vylmira. But of course, Logistics were a nightmare. The Tower was still in the process of converting from an Octarchy Outpost to a Knights Obsidian fortress.

Voph was also in Golbah City as the Vylmiran Delegation intended to pitch the Octarchy ships as a form of Rapid Response Task Force for the benefit of the Confederacy. As the leader of the organization on multiple facets, he wanted to be available for comment, should the Viceroyalty require it of him. But then his comlink chirped to life. Alkor Centaris. Voph's brow furrowed. An attack on Golbah city? Droids gone rogue, or something else? "This is Voph, I'm on site. Will move to secure the Viceroyalty."

Voph turned, and began running through the halls, heading towards the Viceroyalty Chambers. As he sprinted past security checkpoints and around corners, he made a call. "Voph to control, enemy incursion is in progress. Lockdown the citadel and spaceports. Home defense fleet on high alert. Send gunships to the Citadel and prepare a secure evacuation route for the Viceroyalty. Backup Alpha to the Viceroyalty Chambers."

Voph hadn't worked with Luna Terrik Luna Terrik much, aside from the one skirmish a while back. But he knew Luna and her commandos were a welcome sight to whatever chitstorm he was running into. As he neared the Chambers, he began gesturing to the guards milling about and setting up. "Establish a perimeter. No one comes in or out of that room without authorization. Anyone attempts to breach the building without proper credentials, lethal force is authorized."

Voph Drew his mainhand saber as he turned to look towards the Viceroyalty Chambers. "Voph to all forces, I'm outside the Viceroyalty Chambers now. Begin sending evacuees out one delegation at a time, with full headcounts. Gunships will be standing by to evacuate."

To be fair, he saw this coming.

The analytics teams he'd set up at the Ministry's headquarters worked day in and day out to keep him updated on everything happening in the galaxy -- technological developments, international relations, what Carnifex had for breakfast. A bounty placed on one of the Vicelord's key advisers, not even mildly hidden from those who might alert the woman to the potential threat... Antoin had a pretty terrible sense of humour, but he was sure others would find this quite funny.

Still, it had taken a bit of time for him to receive the news. The alert had come up on his datapad during the assembly; he'd read it twice before deciding on a course of action. The Minister of Secrets was as discreet as his title suggested, thus he opted to send one of his aides to notify the Vicelord simply to pay attention to Antoin -- Darth Metus' telepathy would do the rest. "There's a bounty on Viceroy Hadley. I've been informed of a group of suspicious people entering the city after being dropped off by a ship equipped with stealth technology, but we managed to pick it up on our atmospheric sensors after a preliminary alert from our interdiction fields. I will deploy squads of BX commandos to vital areas of the city, as well as send two sniper teams to set up and keep an eye on the situation. Additionally, the contractor and his assets will be liquidated within twelve hours."

It really was comical to him. Perhaps, perhaps these people might have an actual plan, and if they did Antoin would be content to watch it all play out through his datapad. Maybe they thought they could fool some droids by using stealth tech or the like, or perhaps they were Force users and thought that would save them.

Bounty hunters weren't very intelligent, were they?

A swipe of his datapad, and the game was set into motion.

An explosion in the distance had caught the ears of the Omwati woman, bringing her attention to full alert. Witnessing the levels of security the Confederacy held upon the world, a curiosity grasped her mind wondering just who or what would brave such risks to enact hostilities upon its surface. As a voice arose from her commlink, she sprang to her feet. Her knowledge seeking would have to wait as these more pressing matters would require her attention the most. Collecting her commlink, Alluria ran out into the street, opening her senses fully to the Force. "This is Alluria, explosion in the streets of the Royal Sector. High explosive, moving to investigate."
Approaching a corner around a block from the disturbance, she stopped briefly to get civilians moving. "Move to the nearest shelter. Go!" As the group began to move, her attention turned to the site of the destruction, glancing down the road at a burning vehicle that looked like it had been in a warzone. "Why attack a vehicle here..? Not even an embassy.. Something feels.. wrong." Her mind saw the scene before her as one would a jigsaw puzzle, placing pieces together in an attempt to see the bigger picture. There were better targets of priority within the sector than a singular vehicle. Instead of running down the street immediately, she remained at a distance, observing the surroundings of the debris closely. Though hearing the cries of injured, she rushed to the side of one who had been hit by debris from the explosion. Carefully, she lifted the woman and pulled her to a safer distance in the event of secondary explosions.

"Reporting casualties and injured in the Royal Sector. Target appears to have been a vehicle, victims unidentified. Number of targets unknown. Investigation ongoing."

Wake up, people.

"Attention, this is Alkor Centaris. Golbah City has come under attack, this is not an exercise. Unknown number of assailants, scope of damage unconfirmed- all available Knights should mobilize immediately."

Alkor Centaris wasn't someone she'd ever met, so it was odd that the sound of his voice greeted Tallara that morning.

She'd just gotten dressed for the day -- she was supposed to be redeployed to another Knights Obsidian post today, so she'd gotten all her gear ready to go. It wouldn't do to stop being vigilant against potential threats, the enemies of the Confederacy were many and they were resourceful. Her preparedness had certainly paid off. As she was reaching for her commlink it went off, and that message played. The former Knight Commander's words still had weight.

Golbah City has come under attack.

Without delay the Knight burst out of her room and began sprinting through the halls of the Citadel. She'd been about to open up comms to get a rounder picture of the situation when she slammed into a maintenance droid when rounding a corner -- the thing had opened up a door right as she'd turned. Putting her energy into her movement had taken away her focus from her senses; no wonder she'd missed it. The older model of B1 offered her a hand and she took it, quickly getting back to her feet. A glance into the closet made her realize the droid wasn't the only thing she'd missed.

Inside were two Confederate couriers, bound and gagged. One was clothed, the other was not. The droid looked at the two unconscious men, then back at Tallara. If the B1 could look confused, it probably would be now. Still, at least it was good for something. It must have picked up the two on its lifeform scanners, and by hitting the droid on her way through she'd unwittingly come into the knowledge of a potential infiltration. The woman quickly tapped her commlink and spoke on the secure Knights Obsidian channel as she took a moment to memorize the faces of the two couriers. "This is Knight Tallara. I've found two unconscious couriers, and this gives me reason to suspect an infiltration of the Citadel. Be vigilant. We don't know what their target is." She turned to the droid. "Free them, then get them to the infirmary," she said quickly, before once more beginning to sprint. Before she'd been heading to the streets, though -- now she made her way to the Assembly of the Viceroyalty. A little Force speed and soon enough she was there.

It seemed that the safety of the politicians had come to mind for other Knights as well -- Master Voph seemed to have entered moments before. They didn't have time to talk now. Her eyes began to search the room rapidly, her senses too. The panicking Viceroyals didn't help. She never really liked them anyways, but she had a duty to fulfill. A duty to the Confederacy, and in some respects to Darth Metus... whose top adviser, Valencia Hadley, was being spoken to by two couriers.

They were close enough. The blue woman needed to focus only for a moment before throwing up her hands -- after all, these other masters of the Force needed only a moment to subdue another. She was simply giving them their opening. The two infiltrators would feel a sudden inability to move their bodies as Tallara used Force Stasis. It was a strenuous power to use, so all she could do was stand still and focus on holding these enemies of the Confederacy.

"Voph!" She called, as if the man needed to be told.

As soon as he finished saying the words, he knew something was wrong. He couldn't shake it, he watched nervously as Kyyrk Kyyrk barged into the room, but quickly turned back to focus, gesturing to Valencia Hadley Valencia Hadley to hurry, and turning to share a glance with Cassus Akovin Cassus Akovin , giving an expression of, something is wrong, and we need to hurry.

Then, he heard another person barge into the room, he quickly glanced to see Tallara Tallara , and registered that she was looking right at him, before he could get so much of a word out, he couldn't move, his words half formed into a curse, and halfway to his blaster. Something was wrong, and he couldn't do anything about it. He did his danmdest to fight it, but all he could think to himself was, "I knew this was a bad idea."

Cassus and Arwen were finally able to approach the target, and just before they entered her location, Cassus dispatched a signal to the Distraction Team telling them it was time to hit the power grid and prepare extraction. Arwen delivered their request, and Cassus felt the need to make an addition.

"We have reason to believe your personal safety is at risk," This was evolving quicker than he thought, it became clear the Distraction Team had made their noises too early, and now their job was all the more difficult. "Please, we have to hurry." Cassus said and pulled out the courier credentials he picked up from the courier earlier to validate his claims.

Then, suddenly something came over him, a slowness. Not good, He thought. It wasn't the end of the world though, he had a few contingencies he could use. The belt he was wearing if he decided to activate it would help in this situation, but he was hoping between the two of them they could convince this Valencia to intervene on their behalf.

Vytal Noctura, Nightsister of Dathomir, Nightmother of the Mandragora, and Obsidian Lord of the Knights Obsidian lifted her head at the sound of Alkor's voice. After politely excusing herself from conversing with a particularly influential spirit, the pale woman began to don her possessions once more. Her voice went out to the Sisters and Brothers of the Mandragora as she strode from her Chambers, "Geonosis is under attack. I will lead the combat forces." Another would be appointed to coordinate their assistance in supplying emergency relief and security forces if need be. There were other Knights that could sustain these as well, but the Witches had potions and salves for medicinal purposes that might become indispensable. "I will open the portal in the inner Courtyard before the Central Spire." It would take no small energy to fashion a gate connecting two points in space between planets, but Vytal was well acquainted with the destination to make this happen. The same had been true of Shadow's Point when she'd made her arrival when it came under attack.

Pale as bleached bone adorned with armor red as a blood moon, Vytal crossed the threshold between worlds. The Mandragora would begin in a secure landing port for high ranking or authorized personnel of the Confederacy. One not available to the public or even necessary many of the rank and file. She often used it when she arrived by ship -- as it might be rude to call upon the spirits for power for mere convenience. "Response teams, move out. See to the needs of the people and coordinate with local Knight Command. The rest of you, with me."

They were in the heart of the Confederady, and she would march straight into the perilous depths on this sun-blighted world. There was no need for her number to be running around wasting time and energy. Their Nightmother would see that their efforts were not in vain by consulting with the highest command on this world. And ensuring that command's survival.

She stopped not far along the way when Voph's voice entered her ear. "Azela," Vytal turned and pointed at a Senior Witch, "have a team remain here. Secure for extraction."

"As you have said, Nightmother."

" Kyyrk Kyyrk , Vytal. High Throne Port secured."
Whether the route between the Viceroyalty and that port was equally secure she could not say -- yet. "I am on my way to you." As she relayed her presence and position, Vytal resumed her brisk pace toward the doors that led into the Citadel.

First they sought to crush them at Shadow's Point. Then others thought to lay claim to Ryloth. Now they dared to breach the heart of the Confederacy. Truly, an escalation worthy of the most foul punishment. Such enemies should hope to fall before the blades or blasters of another before Vytal Noctura laid eyes upon them.

Well, this was escalating quickly...

As the Councilor leaned back in her chair, adjusting the pad in her lap to better inspect the parts of the packet that outlined the Otacracy, a small red icon flared to life in the corner. Finely groomed brows began to furrow and her fingers rose, tapping the icon to open whatever sort of message this was. Her eyes skimmed across the quickly developing text, noting that whatever this was, it was happening live. Some sort of issue outside of the complex, a disturbance in the city proper.

Clear blue eyes rose as they darted to the datapad that lay on the chair between herself and Malok Malok , since the Vicelord often preferred to stay present during these sorts of occasions, rarely did he use the small screens they were provided. It was one of the many reasons he had asked the former Viceroy to act as his council. While he kept his eyes and focus on his people, she could manage a number of more administrative tasks behind the scenes... It had proven beneficial from him, and she was grateful to be able to alleviate some of his stress. It also allowed her to see the same small red icon blaring on his screen.

Carefully the blonde leaned across her seat, fingers gently brushing the Vicelords arm as she motioned to the datapad and handed her own over as it continued a steady stream of live reports about what was happening in the city across the screen. Whatever it was that had begun outside was unlikely to cause issues with the meeting itself, but she suspected there would be a need for Metus to get a briefing on the information in short order. This meant that her attention to this meeting was no longer required - so the woman quietly excused herself and began to rise from the chair, aiming to return to her office to begin collecting the reports and build a packet to provide to the Vicelord following the end of the summit.

As she rose from her seat, however, she nearly bumped into a pair of couriers as they bustled through the door. Eyes were a little wide as noted the pair appeared a little frazzled, obviously having hurried to deliver whatever news it was they were carrying. Immediately her assumption was that they were here for one of the other higher-ranking members of the Confederacy that she currently shared the box with, but as one stepped forward and asked her to confirm if she was indeed Valencia Hadley, she gave the young man a curt nod. The boy looked a little haggard, black circles beneath his eyes and the uniform a little mussed... She spared a moment to feel a touch of concern for whatever it was that had the lad so worked up before he asked her to step outside with them to relay their message.

She offered the young man a tired, but kind smile, her hand rising to gently brush his shoulder as she shook her head. "There is nowhere in Confederate space more secure than this booth right now," which was true - between those who sat within it, and the building itself housing the small personal guard of every significant leader that their sector of the galaxy could boast, it was unlikely a small office tucked away in a corner was going to be any more secure. Though as the second man asserted it was a case of her personal safety being at risk, a frown caused that kind smile to fade. Her brows furrowed as she looked between the two and spared a glance over her shoulder at the two Sith Lords that she shared the box with. Certainly, if she was in danger they would have been aware of it?

Glanced back to the pair with the intention of assuring them that they were free to speak with her there, she noted with a modicum of confusion that they both appeared to have grown stiff, and through the doors behind them that they had hurried through she could see several members of the Knights Obsidian passed the doorway motioning frantically and shouting. She stepped away from the pair of seemingly incapacitated couriered and shot a confused look to Tallara Tallara in the doorway.

"What's all this about, Knight?"
