- The Vele Jivanikas Jewel is in fact a silicon based, living entity corrupted by sith sorcery and ancient magicks worn as but a mere symbol of status by the uninitiated, but revered and treassured by those who can sense the power, hunger and evil within.
- This jewel possesses an innate and impressive resistance to any and all force powers except for Force Light which if strong enough is able to cleanse the entity within and purify it from its corruption.
- Through ancient sith sorcery and vile dark magicks, the Vele Jivanikas Jewel is capable of forcefully absorbing both the lifeforce and soul of a weakened foe, trapping and disconnecting the souls from joining with the force and allowing for them to be called upon on later dates for their knowledge and wisdom if necessary.
- Because the souls it absorbs are constantly confronted within an eternal hell of neverending suffering, cut off from the force and prevented from joining it in order to move on, this amulet is drenched with negative emotion for a dark side user to feed on and to fuel their connection to the dark side of the force.

- The power of Force Light can weaken and even purify this entity when it is used by a great practitioner of the light side of the force.
- Should the jewel not be fed with the essence of the living, it will start to corrupt its wearer, turning them frail, violent or worse yet: mad beyond recognition.
- Because the amulet enhances specifically the dark side of the force, when draining or feeding upon its essence, it will speed up the user's dark side degredation considerably.
DESCRIPTION
The jewel itself is of unknown origin, with an estimated age of at the very least twelve to thirteen tousand years. The gem embedded within the jewel is known for a fact to have once been a radiant rainbow gem of magnificent quality and color, but sith alchemy and sorcery have transformed this sillicone based living entity into a dark, corrupted and perverted shell of its former self. Now a bloodred with violet hues, the gem is cursed with an insatiable hunger for the life essence of others, in particular force sensitive subjects.
It is believed that it has consumed even its original wearer or even its creator, as no record has been found on its creation nor its creator. What is known, is that it has been within the Nargath family for as long as history can tell, with a multitude of portraits in the family citadel showcasing it to have been worn by all Nargath lords through the ages. Through study, Credius managed to uncypher the jewel's purpose and during his time as a sith acolyte managed to witness its power first hand when a victim he had beaten tried to accost him, only to fall lifeless to the ground the moment the man had touched the jewel. Several experiments and studies later, Credius had figured out that those weak in both mind and body were easiest to devour and absorb, but that those of strong mind and will needed to be broken before the amulet would be able to take hold over them.
He also managed to unlock the secrets on how to force the entity to release its captured essence for short periods of time, allowing for conversation with those trapped within. Some of the spirits within are benign and have accepted their fate, yet others agonize in eternal torment, flung in a turmoil of neverending negative emotion and prove to be hard to control. A powerful artifact it may be, the cost of wearing it is a great and solemn task for any man to carry.
