The Repulse-class Destroyer is the workhorse of the First Order Imperial Fleet, based on an ancient Sith design, it was refurbished and fitted with strong weapons to hunt down small ships with ease and even prey on larger ships. Wedge-shaped with most of its firepower facing forward, it is a hunter design and very suitable to assist fighting in the battleline but excels at hunting down slower and less armored ships.
Carrying a relatively small crew and complement, it is not meant for boarding with equal enemies but rather to hunt down pirates or be deployed in squadrons to protect shipping lanes and transports. It is a potent warship for ship-to-ship combat and will hold its own against escort ships any day.
