Malsheem Hypernautics and Manufacturing stands as the totalized industrial command of the Kainate, a structure that transcends the conventional definition of a corporation. Though it retains the outward appearance of a unified manufacturing conglomerate, in practice it functions as a parallel apparatus of state power - an all-encompassing system through which production, administration, and enforcement are fused into a single inseparable mechanism. Born from the consolidation of Malsheem's previously fragmented industrial sectors, it was designed not merely to improve efficiency, but to impose absolute coordination across every level of economic and military output. In doing so, it transformed the station and its associated territories into the beating heart of the Kainate's material expansion and war machine.

Ultimate authority over this immense apparatus rests with Darth Grothuun, Grand Artificer of the Kainate and a sitting member of the Grand Council, whose dominion over industry is both political and philosophical. Where others command fleets or legions, Grothuun commands production itself - the shaping of matter into instruments of domination. Beneath him, a High Commissioner of Production enforces Grothuun's directives across the entirety of the system, while technocratic directors function as industrial governors, each presiding over entire production sectors, assigned worlds, and the populations bound to them. Within this hierarchy, there exists no distinction between governance and economic management; both are expressions of Grothuun's industrial doctrine, itself an extension of the Grand Council's authority.

The major divisions of Malsheem - Hypernautic Staryards, Mobility Systems, Cybernetics and Droid Dynamics, Armament Forges, Extraction Coreworks, Forgeworks Materials Group, Weavecraft Textiles, Systems Technology Group, Synth-Chemical Works, Inquiry Development Division, and the Alchemical Covenant - do not function as independent subsidiaries, but as interlocking organs within a single industrial organism. Each division encompasses the full spectrum of responsibilities within its assigned domain, from extraction and refinement to manufacturing, infrastructure development, logistics, security enforcement, and labor administration. Entire planetary territories are assigned to these divisions and reorganized around their operational requirements, their populations stratified into production castes and bound to quotas that serve the wider needs of the Kainate. These worlds are not merely industrial holdings, but fully integrated production environments in which every resource and every individual is absorbed into the machinery of state-directed output.

At the operational level, Malsheem adheres to a doctrine in which production and control are fundamentally indistinguishable. Civilian and military functions are unified, labor forces are structured with paramilitary precision, and all industrial activity is subordinated to strategic objectives defined by Grothuun's doctrine of total production. Through the integration of Shadow Mind analytical systems, the apparatus continuously refines itself, optimizing output, reallocating resources, forecasting shortages, and accelerating innovation across all sectors. Technologies conceived within the Inquiry Development Division or esoteric creations forged by the Alchemical Covenant are rapidly disseminated throughout controlled territories, ensuring that Malsheem remains not only efficient, but relentlessly adaptive - an engine of both creation and domination.

In its totality, Malsheem Hypernautics and Manufacturing is less a producer of goods than a generator of outcomes, a self-expanding industrial ecosystem governed by the will of Darth Grothuun. It does not merely construct starships, weapons, droids, chemicals, or infrastructure; it produces the material conditions necessary for Kainate supremacy. Worlds are reduced, reorganized, and reintegrated into its structure, their labor and resources feeding an ever-accelerating cycle of conquest, extraction, and production. In this way, Malsheem is not simply an instrument of the Kainate - it is the means through which Grothuun and the Grand Council reshape the galaxy itself.

  • Hypernautic Staryards serves as the primary naval-industrial arm of Malsheem Hypernautics and Manufacturing, responsible for the design, construction, maintenance, and refit of the Kainate's vast fleets. Distributed across immense orbital drydock arrays surrounding Malsheem itself and numerous subordinate forge worlds, the division operates on a scale rivaling entire sector economies. Kilometer-long warships hang suspended within cavernous magnetic construction frames while millions of laborers, assembly servitors, droids, and automated fabrication engines move in synchronized precision beneath them. Entire sections of hull plating are poured, forged, and assembled like continental tectonics in motion, while rivers of molten alloy flow through armored channels into shaping crucibles large enough to consume cities.

The division adheres to a doctrine of brutal functionalism infused with Sith monumentalism. Every vessel produced by Hypernautic Staryards is intended not only to serve as an instrument of war, but as a projection of ideological dominance. Sharp angular superstructures, recessed weapons batteries, armored spinal hulls, and cathedral-like reactor cores define the visual identity of their craft. Internal architecture is equally severe, prioritizing redundancy, compartmentalization, and intimidation over comfort. Officers and crew operate within environments designed to reinforce hierarchy at every level, from towering command bridges suspended above abyssal reactor shafts to endless barracks stacked in geometric precision deep within armored hulls.

The logistical complexity of Hypernautic Staryards is staggering. Entire worlds are integrated into its supply chain, each assigned specialized industrial functions. Mining colonies feed raw ore into refinery worlds controlled by Extraction Coreworks, which then transfer processed materials to orbital manufacturing platforms and fabrication moons. Automated cargo flotillas move continuously along protected hyperlane corridors under heavy escort, carrying reactor assemblies, armor composites, hyperdrive cores, and prefabricated structural sections. Through centralized production algorithms maintained by Shadow Mind analytical systems, every component is tracked from extraction to final assembly, allowing the division to sustain wartime production levels indefinitely.

Despite its industrial enormity, Hypernautic Staryards remains heavily militarized. Security fleets patrol all construction zones, internal security cadres monitor labor populations for inefficiency or dissent, and heavily armed overseers maintain discipline across the workforce. Industrial sabotage, espionage, or production delays are treated as acts of treason against the Kainate itself. Entire populations have disappeared into penal labor complexes for failing quota demands during major naval expansion campaigns. To the Kainate, shipbuilding is not merely manufacturing - it is the physical manifestation of imperial will, and Hypernautic Staryards is the forge in which that will is given form.

  • Mobility Systems governs the design and production of all planetary, atmospheric, and logistical vehicles utilized throughout Kainate territories. While Hypernautic Staryards dominates void warfare, Mobility Systems controls the machinery that allows the Kainate to move armies, resources, and populations across conquered worlds. Its production lines manufacture everything from civilian cargo haulers and industrial walkers to heavily armored assault vehicles, repulsor tanks, atmospheric gunships, siege platforms, and mechanized troop transports. Entire factory-cities stretch across polluted plains beneath blackened skies, their assembly towers constantly shrouded in smoke, plasma discharge, and the thunder of heavy machinery.

The division prioritizes durability, modularity, and ease of mass production above all else. Mobility Systems vehicles are intentionally designed to operate under extreme conditions with minimal maintenance, capable of enduring toxic atmospheres, volcanic terrain, frozen wastelands, and urban warzones alike. Armor plating is thick and angular, engines oversized, and internal systems deliberately simplified to ensure battlefield survivability. Vehicles are frequently built around interchangeable chassis systems, allowing rapid conversion between civilian, military, and industrial roles depending on strategic demand. Entire armored regiments can be reconfigured within days through modular component replacement alone.

Operationally, Mobility Systems functions as both a manufacturer and a planetary infrastructure authority. The division oversees transit corridors, industrial highways, freight rail systems, and logistical hubs across Kainate-controlled space. Massive convoy networks move continuously between extraction zones, manufacturing centers, military fortresses, and population sectors under strict centralized regulation. On heavily industrialized worlds, Mobility Systems effectively governs transportation itself, dictating civilian movement patterns, resource allocation schedules, and freight priorities according to military-industrial needs.

The division also maintains extensive battlefield testing grounds where prototype vehicles are subjected to live combat simulations against prisoners, captured fauna, or expendable conscript formations. Entire regions have been transformed into mechanized proving grounds scarred by artillery craters, collapsed urban replicas, and irradiated wastelands. Vehicles deemed successful are immediately integrated into frontline production, while failed designs are cannibalized for material reclamation. Through this relentless process of adaptation and militarization, Mobility Systems ensures the Kainate remains perpetually mobile, capable of projecting industrialized violence onto any planetary surface within its reach.

  • Cybernetics and Droid Dynamics represents the convergence of synthetic intelligence, biomechanical engineering, and industrial automation within the Kainate state apparatus. The division controls the design and manufacture of labor droids, combat automatons, security constructs, cybernetic augmentation systems, neural interfaces, and industrial machine intelligences. Vast subterranean foundries produce endless ranks of humanoid and non-humanoid droids beneath flickering red lumens while cybernetic laboratories implant replacement organs, neural regulators, and combat prosthetics into soldiers, workers, and political subjects alike. The division views organic and mechanical life not as separate states, but as systems to be optimized toward productive function.

The division's droids are intentionally designed with a cold, utilitarian aesthetic emphasizing intimidation and efficiency. Combat models feature angular armored casings, photoreceptors resembling predatory eyes, and mechanically distorted vocal processors intended to psychologically unsettle organic populations. Labor units are simpler but equally imposing, built to operate continuously under hazardous industrial conditions without pause or complaint. Many production sectors rely almost entirely on synthetic workforces overseen by only small cadres of living supervisors, allowing industrial activity to continue uninterrupted even in toxic, irradiated, or vacuum-exposed environments.

Cybernetic integration within the Kainate is not merely medical, but ideological. Injured soldiers are reconstructed into more efficient combat assets, industrial workers are implanted with productivity regulators and neural discipline chips, and high-ranking officials often voluntarily augment themselves as demonstrations of loyalty to technological transcendence. Entire classes of laborers exist in states of partial mechanization, their biological functions chemically regulated while cybernetic implants monitor movement, output, and obedience in real time. To Cybernetics and Droid Dynamics, individuality is inefficiency; augmentation is liberation through functional perfection.

At its highest levels, the division pursues increasingly radical experimentation into synthetic cognition and consciousness replication. Black-site facilities hidden deep beneath Malsheem attempt to merge machine intelligence with alchemically altered neural matrices, seeking forms of artificial awareness capable of strategic creativity and autonomous adaptation. Some experiments have produced terrifying results - war machines displaying emergent predatory behavior, synthetic entities developing obsessive loyalty to Sith overseers, or unstable cybernetic intelligences requiring immediate containment. Yet within the Kainate, such failures are not viewed as warnings, but as necessary stages in the evolution of total industrial consciousness.

  • Armament Forges exists as the dedicated weapons-manufacturing engine of the Kainate, responsible for supplying its militaries, security forces, and industrial enforcers with instruments of destruction on a galactic scale. Endless forge-citadels produce blasters, artillery systems, missile batteries, heavy turbolasers, thermal detonators, armor systems, munitions, and exotic battlefield weapons in quantities measured not by units, but by planetary tonnage. Entire industrial continents are consumed by smelting complexes and weapons foundries where rivers of molten metal illuminate the horizon with perpetual firestorms visible from orbit.

The division maintains an uncompromising philosophy toward weapon production: every design must maximize lethality, manufacturability, and psychological impact simultaneously. Weapons produced by Armament Forges are intentionally brutal in appearance and operation, favoring heavy recoil, overwhelming firepower, and intimidating sound signatures. Infantry weapons emit thunderous concussive blasts, armored vehicles mount oversized cannons capable of leveling fortifications, and starship weapons are engineered for saturation bombardment rather than surgical precision. Efficiency of killing is treated as both an engineering principle and a political necessity.

Production facilities are organized with militarized precision. Assembly lines move ceaselessly under the supervision of armed overseers while droid laborers and industrial workers operate in synchronized formations monitored by automated quota systems. Failed components are immediately recycled into furnace systems, and workers unable to maintain required production levels are reassigned to hazardous reclamation sectors with minimal survival expectancy. Entire prison populations are frequently absorbed into weapons production programs during wartime surges, their labor extracted until physical collapse before replacement by new shipments of condemned personnel.

Beyond conventional armaments, the division also develops experimental siege systems and planetary suppression technologies in coordination with Inquiry Development Division and the Alchemical Covenant. Prototype gravity weapons, plasma saturation devices, neural disruptors, and terror munitions are routinely tested against isolated settlements or controlled populations. The objective is not merely battlefield victory, but total domination through industrialized fear. To Armament Forges, warfare is an act of manufacturing, and every battle represents another stage in the refinement of destructive efficiency.

  • Extraction Coreworks serves as the raw industrial foundation of the Kainate economy, controlling the acquisition of minerals, fuel sources, rare elements, hypermatter isotopes, biological compounds, and strategic resources across conquered territories. Entire worlds are transformed into extraction colonies beneath its authority, their natural landscapes systematically dismantled by continent-sized mining crawlers, orbital strip-harvesters, mantle-drilling arrays, and atmospheric refinement towers. Forests are burned away to expose ore seams, oceans are chemically processed for trace materials, and mountain ranges are hollowed from within by kilometer-deep excavation systems that glow like open wounds across planetary crusts. From orbit, Coreworks worlds often appear partially mechanized, their surfaces consumed by geometric mining scars and glowing industrial grids visible through permanent clouds of ash and smog.

The division operates according to a doctrine of total resource utilization in which no planetary environment possesses inherent value beyond its extractable output. Ecological collapse is not merely tolerated, but strategically accepted as an unavoidable stage of industrial conversion. Entire ecosystems are intentionally destabilized to expose deeper mineral strata, while local populations are displaced, enslaved, or reorganized into labor castes servicing extraction infrastructure. Once-independent settlements become tightly regulated production enclaves surrounding massive refinery complexes where every aspect of life is subordinated to quota fulfillment. Air, water, food distribution, and habitation rights are all directly tied to industrial performance metrics maintained by automated oversight systems.

Extraction Coreworks maintains some of the most dangerous labor conditions within the entire Malsheem apparatus. Workers endure radiation saturation, chemical contamination, tectonic instability, and catastrophic equipment failures as routine aspects of industrial life. Gigantic furnace refineries burn continuously beneath blackened skies while ore-haulers the size of cities crawl across scarred terrain under armed escort. In particularly hostile regions, laborers are fitted with cybernetic survival implants manufactured by Cybernetics and Droid Dynamics, allowing them to continue functioning within environments that would otherwise be unsurvivable. Mortality rates remain extreme, but within Coreworks such losses are viewed purely as logistical calculations balanced against extraction efficiency.

Beyond conventional mining operations, the division is also tasked with securing ancient ruins, hypermatter anomalies, and strategically valuable geological phenomena for the Kainate. Specialized excavation fleets descend upon worlds containing Rakatan vaults, kyber crystal deposits, buried superweapons, or ancient Sith sites, often operating under direct supervision from the Alchemical Covenant or Inquiry Development Division. In these cases, extraction becomes not merely economic, but ideological - the harvesting of forgotten power itself. Through Coreworks, entire planets are reduced to raw material inputs feeding the endless industrial metabolism of the Kainate state.

  • Forgeworks Materials Group governs the refinement, alloying, fabrication, and distribution of the immense quantities of industrial materials required to sustain Kainate civilization. While Extraction Coreworks acquires raw resources, Forgeworks transforms those resources into usable industrial matter: armor composites, structural alloys, reactor shielding, synthetic ceramics, starship plating, superconductive metals, and advanced industrial polymers. Its refinery-forges dominate entire industrial sectors, colossal megastructures where oceans of molten metal churn beneath kilometer-high foundry towers and assembly furnaces burn with such intensity they alter local weather patterns. Entire planetary atmospheres are stained crimson and gold by the perpetual glow of smelting operations visible from orbit.

The division specializes in the production of hyper-durable materials engineered specifically for military-industrial applications. Kainate alloys are designed to withstand vacuum warfare, extreme heat fluctuations, prolonged bombardment, corrosive atmospheres, and Sith alchemical reinforcement processes. Research into metallurgical enhancement is relentless, combining conventional engineering with experimental compounds developed through chemical synthesis and esoteric treatments. Armor plating may be infused with rare minerals harvested from irradiated worlds, reactor shielding layered with exotic crystalline lattices, or structural frameworks strengthened through alchemical tempering rituals performed by the Alchemical Covenant. The resulting materials possess an austere, oppressive visual identity: matte black hull metals, blood-red alloy veining, and obsidian-like composites capable of absorbing light itself.

Forgeworks facilities are among the most heavily defended industrial sites in the Kainate due to their strategic importance. Massive anti-orbital cannons, shield generators, and security garrisons surround refinery worlds where uninterrupted production is considered essential to military continuity. Internally, labor forces operate within infernal industrial environments of deafening noise, crushing heat, and perpetual particulate haze. Gigantic mechanical foundry-arms swing overhead carrying molten alloy containers large enough to liquefy entire city blocks, while automated presses stamp armor plating with rhythmic force that shakes entire districts. The atmosphere within these complexes is one of endless pressure and mechanized violence, where industry itself feels alive.

The division also functions as the architectural backbone of Kainate expansion. Every fortress, citadel, orbital dock, weapons platform, and military arcology ultimately depends upon materials produced by Forgeworks. Entire conquered worlds are reconstructed using standardized industrial materials and prefabricated structural systems designed to facilitate rapid militarization and economic integration. Cities become geometric industrial hives dominated by black alloy towers and armored transit corridors, all built from Forgeworks-produced composites. Through this process, the division does not merely supply infrastructure - it imposes a distinct industrial aesthetic upon the galaxy itself, physically reshaping conquered space into the image of Kainate authority.

  • Weavecraft Textiles controls the production of all fabrics, synthetic fibers, industrial garments, environmental suits, military uniforms, ceremonial attire, and flexible armor underlays utilized throughout Kainate territories. Though superficially less imposing than divisions devoted to warships or weapons, Weavecraft occupies a critical role within the industrial hierarchy by regulating both practical survival and visual identity across the state apparatus. Vast automated textile manufactories stretch across entire urban sectors where millions of meters of fabric are woven, treated, dyed, and assembled daily beneath towering mechanical loom systems and chemical treatment chambers.

The division's products are designed with an emphasis on durability, environmental adaptability, and ideological uniformity. Industrial workers wear reinforced synth-fabric garments resistant to heat, toxins, radiation, and abrasion, while military personnel are issued combat uniforms woven with reactive fibers capable of integrating directly with armor systems and cybernetic interfaces. Even civilian clothing within heavily controlled Kainate territories increasingly reflects standardized production aesthetics: dark utilitarian fabrics, angular tailoring, minimal ornamentation, and color palettes emphasizing black, crimson, ash gray, and muted metallic tones. Clothing is treated not merely as personal attire, but as a visible extension of social function and state order.

At its highest levels, Weavecraft also produces the ceremonial vestments and elite regalia associated with Sith nobility, Kainate priesthoods, and high administrative castes. These garments often incorporate rare fibers harvested from dangerous fauna, alchemically treated fabrics capable of resisting lightsaber glancing strikes, or woven conductive threads designed to channel energy through embedded systems. Cloaks lined with reflective metallic weave, armored robes reinforced with micro-scaled plating, and ceremonial battle vestments carrying embedded sigils are all manufactured within heavily restricted artisan-forges overseen by both industrial specialists and Sith-appointed inspectors. Here, textile production approaches ritual craftsmanship rather than mass manufacturing.

Despite its focus on clothing and soft goods, Weavecraft remains deeply integrated into the militarized structure of the Kainate economy. Entire labor populations are assigned to textile-production districts where quotas are enforced with the same severity found in weapons or mining sectors. During wartime mobilizations, factories can rapidly transition from civilian garment production to military outfitting on a planetary scale within days. Every army deployed, every labor force organized, and every official elevated within the Kainate ultimately wears the work of Weavecraft. In this sense, the division shapes not only the appearance of the state, but the physical fabric of Kainate civilization itself.

  • Systems Technology Group functions as the computational and infrastructural nervous system of the Malsheem industrial apparatus. The division oversees the development and maintenance of starship computing cores, planetary communication networks, military command systems, industrial automation software, sensor arrays, encryption architectures, data-management systems, and strategic artificial intelligences. Hidden within immense dataspire complexes and subterranean server-citadels, trillions of calculations flow continuously through processing arrays cooled by entire redirected glacial systems or vacuum-exposed thermal sinks extending deep into space. The division's installations are eerily silent compared to the thunderous brutality of other industrial sectors, their environments dominated instead by cold illumination, endless holographic displays, and the constant whisper of machine cognition.

The division operates according to a philosophy of centralized informational supremacy. Every logistical movement, industrial output report, military deployment, and population metric across Kainate-controlled space is fed into Systems Technology Group networks for analysis and optimization. Entire planetary economies are governed through predictive algorithms capable of forecasting shortages, unrest probabilities, infrastructure stress points, and military requirements months in advance. This information is then redistributed across the industrial hierarchy through tightly encrypted command systems accessible only to authorized administrative castes. To Systems Technology Group, information itself is a strategic resource equal in importance to fuel, weapons, or manpower.

The division also develops sophisticated surveillance and control technologies used to maintain internal order throughout Kainate territory. Urban populations are monitored through integrated sensor grids, industrial workers tracked through biometric labor systems, and communication channels filtered through adaptive censorship algorithms capable of identifying ideological deviation in real time. Entire cities operate beneath omnipresent observation architectures linked directly to central analysis nexuses buried deep within Malsheem. In heavily controlled regions, daily life becomes inseparable from technological oversight as transportation systems, labor assignments, security checkpoints, and even habitation access are managed through interconnected digital control frameworks.

At the highest levels of secrecy, Systems Technology Group collaborates directly with Inquiry Development Division and the Shadow Mind analytical network in pursuit of increasingly advanced synthetic cognition systems. Experimental quantum processors, reality-mapping engines, predictive warfare simulations, and semi-autonomous strategic intelligences are continuously developed within sealed computational sanctums accessible only to senior technocrats and Sith overseers. Rumors persist of hidden datacrypts containing machine intelligences so vast and self-evolving they require entire reactor complexes merely to sustain consciousness. Whether true or not, the division has become indispensable to the functioning of the Kainate itself, ensuring that every aspect of industrial civilization remains interconnected beneath a single centralized technological will.

  • Synth-Chemical Works, also known colloquially as Synthlabs, serves as the chemical and biochemical authority of the Kainate industrial apparatus, controlling the production of industrial reagents, hyperfuels, pharmaceutical compounds, agricultural synthetics, atmospheric processing agents, biological enhancers, toxins, corrosives, and battlefield chemicals across Malsheem-controlled space. Entire planetary regions under Synthlabs administration are transformed into sprawling chem-industrial wastelands dominated by refinery towers, synthesis stacks, pressure silos, and labyrinthine pipe networks stretching for thousands of kilometers. Toxic vapor clouds drift perpetually above these industrial zones, illuminated at night by the sickly glow of refinery flares and reactor furnaces that never extinguish. Rivers become chemically altered runoff channels carrying fluorescent waste through dead landscapes where almost no natural ecosystem survives intact.

The division operates with an obsessive emphasis on industrial adaptability and total biochemical control. Synthlabs does not merely manufacture chemicals - it engineers environmental conditions themselves. Specialized atmospheric compounds are deployed to stabilize hostile colony worlds for industrial habitation, agricultural accelerants are used to force rapid crop production in labor sectors, and narcotic suppressants are introduced into controlled populations to regulate unrest and maintain productivity. Military branches receive combat stimulants, pain suppressors, radiation-resistant injectables, and emergency metabolic compounds capable of keeping soldiers functional under catastrophic battlefield conditions. In more extreme applications, entire regions may be subjected to chemical saturation campaigns designed to depopulate resistant territories while preserving infrastructure for later occupation.

The internal research structure of Synth-Chemical Works is highly compartmentalized and notoriously secretive. Beneath the visible industrial complexes lie sealed biochemical laboratories conducting experiments into mutagenics, engineered pathogens, adaptive toxins, and synthetic biological agents developed in coordination with Inquiry Development Division and the Alchemical Covenant. Certain classified compounds are specifically engineered to interact with cybernetic systems, neural chemistry, or even Force-sensitive physiology. Entire vault-complexes contain chemical agents capable of destabilizing planetary biospheres, while mobile synthesis platforms accompany military campaigns to test experimental compounds under live operational conditions. Failure rates among research personnel are exceptionally high due to exposure risks, containment breaches, and unstable experimental materials.

Despite the horrifying nature of many of its operations, Synthlabs remains indispensable to the functioning of the wider Kainate economy. Every reactor fuel stabilizer, industrial solvent, agricultural nutrient, medical treatment, and atmospheric processing compound utilized by Malsheem industry ultimately originates within Synthlabs-controlled production chains. The division's influence extends invisibly into nearly every aspect of life under the Kainate, from the air populations breathe to the medications issued in labor barracks and military garrisons. Through chemistry, Synthlabs exercises a subtler but no less absolute form of control - reshaping biological existence itself into another industrial variable to be optimized, regulated, and exploited.

  • Inquiry Development Division functions as the central experimental and advanced research authority of Malsheem Hypernautics and Manufacturing, overseeing all high-risk scientific initiatives, black-project engineering programs, theoretical weapons research, exotic energy experimentation, and classified technological development throughout the Kainate. Unlike other divisions focused on mass industrial output, Inquiry exists at the outer edge of possibility itself, operating within heavily restricted research sanctums buried deep beneath Malsheem, isolated asteroid laboratories, hidden research moons, and abyssal fortress-facilities concealed across the galaxy. Entire installations are sealed behind multiple layers of military quarantine and information compartmentalization, accessible only to authorized technocrats, Sith overseers, and specially conditioned research personnel.

The division pursues innovation with a level of ideological fanaticism bordering on religious obsession. Inquiry researchers are encouraged to disregard conventional ethical, biological, and technological limitations entirely in pursuit of strategic advantage. Experimental reactor systems capable of destabilizing local spacetime, prototype gravity-collapse weaponry, advanced stealth technologies, hyperspatial manipulation engines, neural warfare systems, autonomous combat intelligences, and planetary-scale industrial control frameworks are all developed within Inquiry facilities. The atmosphere within these installations is one of relentless intellectual pressure - endless laboratories illuminated by cold luminescence, observation chambers filled with unstable prototypes, and research archives containing forbidden knowledge harvested from conquered civilizations and ancient Sith ruins alike.

Many of Inquiry's projects blur the distinction between science, engineering, and metaphysical experimentation. In coordination with the Alchemical Covenant, the division routinely investigates methods of integrating Dark Side phenomena into technological systems. Alchemically enhanced reactor matrices, Force-reactive alloys, synthetic organisms capable of channeling Dark Side energy, and experimental cognitive systems modeled after Sith philosophy are all subjects of active research. Certain facilities reportedly contain imprisoned Force-sensitive subjects used for behavioral experimentation or energy-harvesting studies, while others pursue increasingly dangerous attempts to create artificial conduits between machine intelligence and metaphysical phenomena. The casualty rates associated with these experiments are catastrophic, but within Inquiry failure is viewed merely as a necessary precursor to advancement.

The strategic importance of Inquiry Development Division cannot be overstated. Every major technological leap within the Kainate industrial system ultimately originates from its laboratories before dissemination to other divisions for mass production and implementation. Hypernautic Staryards receives new reactor technologies, Armament Forges acquires experimental weapons systems, Systems Technology Group integrates advanced computational architectures, and Cybernetics and Droid Dynamics adopts radical augmentation techniques born within Inquiry sanctums. In this way, the division acts as the evolutionary engine of the entire Kainate apparatus - a perpetual source of innovation driving the industrial state toward increasingly terrifying levels of technological and military supremacy.

  • The Alchemical Covenant exists as the most secretive and feared division within the entire Malsheem industrial hierarchy, a hidden order of Sith alchemists, occult engineers, and Dark Side savants dedicated to the fusion of ancient Sith sorcery with industrial production. Unlike the rationalized mechanization of other divisions, the Covenant operates within vast cathedral-forges, ritual foundries, abyssal sanctums, and subterranean temples where metallurgy, genetic manipulation, cybernetics, and Dark Side ritualism become inseparable processes. Entire sections of Malsheem are sealed behind obsidian gates and layered security fields where the laws of conventional science are subordinated to esoteric transformation. Within these chambers, furnaces burn with unnatural coloration, ritual circles are etched directly into factory floors, and the air itself vibrates with the oppressive psychic weight of sustained Dark Side activity.

The Covenant is responsible for the creation of alchemically enhanced weapons, Sith relics, cursed artifacts, bio-engineered monstrosities, Force-reactive materials, and ritualized war technologies utilized by the Kainate elite. Blades capable of retaining echoes of pain from previous victims, armor infused with semi-sentient defensive instincts, synthetic organisms bred for psychological terror, and reactor systems stabilized through sacrificial rituals are all products of Covenant labor. Its alchemists view matter itself as spiritually mutable, believing that metal, flesh, and energy can all be reshaped through sufficient application of will and suffering. Production within Covenant sanctums therefore resembles a form of industrialized ritual sacrifice as much as manufacturing, with pain, fear, and death frequently incorporated directly into creation processes.

The internal hierarchy of the Alchemical Covenant resembles a monastic cult fused with an industrial research bureau. Sith alchemists hold authority over entire production enclaves populated by cybernetically altered assistants, enslaved acolytes, vat-grown labor organisms, and condemned prisoners repurposed as experimental material. Ritual-industrial ceremonies accompany major production cycles, with chants echoing through forge-temples while molten alloys are infused with alchemical compounds and Dark Side energies. Many Covenant facilities are partially alive in ways difficult to rationally explain - walls that pulse with organic motion, biomechanical infrastructure responding to emotional states, and chambers that seem capable of subtly altering their internal geometry over time. Personnel assigned to these facilities often suffer psychological degradation after prolonged exposure.

Despite its secrecy, the influence of the Alchemical Covenant permeates the entirety of the Kainate war machine. Hypernautic Staryards integrates alchemically reinforced hull materials into elite warships, Armament Forges deploys Sith-forged terror weapons, Cybernetics and Droid Dynamics utilizes Covenant-engineered neural matrices, and Inquiry Development Division continuously collaborates with Covenant alchemists on experimental projects that push beyond the boundaries of both science and sorcery. To the wider galaxy, the Covenant exists mostly as rumor - whispered stories of impossible weapons, cursed machines, and industrial temples where the Dark Side itself is manufactured into material form. Yet within the Kainate, the Covenant represents the ultimate expression of Darth Grothuun's doctrine: the total fusion of industry, power, and domination into a single eternal mechanism.

Malsheem Hypernautics and Manufacturing was entirely a creation of the Kainate, which is led by Darth Carnifex and Darth Prazutis Darth Prazutis . Though it is nominally managed by a board of directors, the entire organization is entirely under the control of the Kainate Grand Council. The Kainate Grand Council serves the wills of Darth Carnifex and Darth Prazutis. Thus, Malsheem Hypernautics and Manufacturing was a product of the Kainate itself. Its existence is entirely dependent on the Kainate.
