  • The Ribimilodal is an extremely small organ implanted into an Initiate of the Blackblade Guard. It is one of the primary reasons why the Blackblade are often seen as extremely difficult to kill, nearly invincible despite the extreme injuries that they incur on the battlefield. Through cells cultivated from Firrerreo, a species known for its rapid healing factor, as well as the careful analysis of the inner workings of an ancient sith implant, a new synthetic cell is created. These new cells serve in a similar function as a body's blood cells do except thanks to their composition they act faster as well as being more effective in a manner similar to how a Firrerreo regenerates. In a matter of seconds the organ's work begins forming scar tissue, preventing both infection and great blood loss from happening.

  • Regeneration: The organs function gives owners a unique ability to quickly stop blood loss, and replicate lost or damaged cells essentially providing the owner with a degree of regeneration.

  • Overwhelmed: While its ability to regenerate is impressive it is not all encompassing. Anyone with it is by no means invincible and it can be overwhelmed, additionally wounds incurred could easily be far beyond the ability for it to help.

Evolution.

In order to maintain dominance over the galactic community the Blackblade Guard relentless pursuit towards evolution led them to constantly seek improvement. Through the foundations of the Blackblade Biomedical Science Corps under the supervision of one of their dark masters Braxus Zambrano this led to several developments that took the guard from simply well trained, elite warriors filled with cybernetics into terrifying super soldiers, peerless on the field of battle. After careful analysis of their battlefield effectiveness it became apparent that there was room for improvement. The Blackblades had become durable but it wasn’t enough, it wouldn’t account for wounds that pushed beyond their armor and bodies strength to endure. If they were to rise above all others they would need the ability to heal wounds rapidly in battle.

The solution came deep within the clone laboratories of Malsheem.

House Zambrano were second to none when it came to gene splicing, their gene surgeon the Constable of Homunculi became pivotal in the development of enhanced clone bodies that both the dark masters use. To that end the cells of the Firrerreo, a species renowned for their great healing ability had been cultivated in abundant amounts and included within their bodies, both serving a purpose on the battlefield and fighting off decay through dark side corruption. Darth Prazutis saw the benefit in these cells and the potential application for the guard and immediately arranged for samples to be sent over to the Biomedical Science Corps. However due to the complex nature of the guards' augmented physiology it proved to be a rather complicated process to include the cells into their bodies. Due to the hormonal regulation system at work the inclusion of cells early on often caused them to over regenerate.

The answer for this problem came in the realm of cybernetic implants. An implant first created by the ancient sith known as the Sith regenerator utilized a unique system that stimulated cell replication once blood loss was initiated. They were able to develop an organ that created new synthetic cells based off the Firrerreo. The organ was designed with a system that carefully regulated how the cells would function within the body. They would attach themselves to white blood cells once a Blackblade incurred wounds and suffered blood loss, the added regulation ensured it wouldn’t interfere with other implanted organs and cybernetics. It was put through a series of trials before a localized test was conducted on a small number of test subjects from the guard. It proved to be far more successful than they had ever anticipated. It was immediately approved for introduction and within a short period of time the entire Blackblade Guard were implanted with it. It was bestowed with the name Ribimilodal that meant “Regenerator” in Epicant.

Very nice and useful technology, and always good to see my own headers in the submissions.. I want to write a similar thing to the HPI, long ago. But this could be powerful technology, so please use it responsible and try to not abuse it.

Approved.
