STRENGTHS
  • Adaptive Combat Programming: Carnifex-class Dark Troopers are programmed to be able to adapt to any combat situation, and possess a vast internal library of military and squad tactics, combat styles and the know-how to use most forms of weaponry without issue. This makes them far deadlier than your average battle droids. Dark Trooper processing power is comparable to that of a Super Tactical Droid.
  • Tal'Beskar: Forged from Tal'Beskar forged within the worldcraft Malsheem using dark techniques. Carnifex-class Dark Troopers are extremely durable droid soldiers. Tal'Beskar is also highly resistant to the force, strengthening the droids against force sensitives immensely.
  • Capable of Flight: Using thrusters built into their feet, Carnifex-class Dark Troopers are capable of flying, enabling them to both deploy straight from ships without the need for landing craft, as well as traversing the battlefield aerially. These thrusters are also fully functional in space as well, making Carnifex-class Dark Troopers incredibly useful for boarding actions.
WEAKNESSES
  • Vulnerable to Sonic and Ion: Despite it's very high endurance to most forms of attack, the Carnifex-class Dark Trooper is, alas, still a droid. EMP weaponry can prove highly effective in disabling it, and Sonic weaponry is effective against it like regular Beskar.
  • Slow on Foot: Despite their maneuveurability via flight, Dark Troopers are not the fastest when it comes to moving on the ground. The fastest they'll move is a very hastened walk, but for the most part they tend to move at their own pace, which may give faster opponents a way to escape or out maneuveur them.
  • Production: Due to the difficulty of crafting Tal'Beskar, Carnifex-class Dark Troopers are difficult to mass produce, and as such are unviable for mass deployment.
DESCRIPTION
Conceived by Grand Moff Decimus and Sera Naberrie as a revival of Rohm Mohc's Dark Trooper program, the Carnifex-class Dark Trooper was named in tribute to the former Sith Emperor himself, and designed to provide his Kainate with an elite, unrelenting core of mechanized droid soldiers. They were designed to be highly durable weapons of war, unyielding and merciless to the foes of Grand Moff Decimus and his master, Darth Carnifex.

The project was developed in utter secrecy. Large stocks of Tal'Beskar ingots were produced within Malsheem in secrecy to serve as materials for the new project. The durability of this alloy was without question, so it was considered the perfect material for the new Dark Troopers.

Once the first fully functional prototypes were constructed and thoroughly tested, they were dispatched for a secret field test against insurrectionist elements within Sith Imperial territory. The test was a huge success, as the surprisingly well armed insurrectionists were slaughtered efficiently with minimal damage to the Dark Trooper prototypes. Issues were found however with a vulnerability to sonic and ion weaponry, though such was considered acceptable given the droid was extremely resistant to everything else.

The Carnifex-class Dark Troopers are now being produced within production lines aboard the worldcraft Malsheem, where they are gradually being assigned to vessels in platoons of 40 amongst the Kainate Shadow Fleet, ready for deployment, as well as select assignments across the Sith Empire at large. To prevent capture if disabled by the enemy, all units are fitted with a self destruct system in the event hostile forces attempt to seize and tamper with them.

I have a couple of things for you.

Canon Link:

Could you please link the Dark Troopers here aswell?

And link the Durasteel here

Tal'Beskar, Durasteel, Rocket Components, Droid Components

Thirdly, I see you have the Production Quality set to Extreme, in the Factory Forum Rules it states.

The Armor Rating Extreme will require the submission to be Semi-Unique. This armor rating is considered very strong and are usually dealing with semi-unique items that should be restricted to Player Characters only.
The Droid Rating of Extreme also requires your submission to be Unique. As above, this rating is considered very strong and should be restricted to Player Characters only.

And as you have it now your submission is Overpowered!

If you could please do these changed for me Grand Moff Decimus Thank you for your understanding.

Grand Moff Decimus It's still overpowered If you want to keep it with those very high resistances you could pump the Lows to Very Low which will bring the 6 down to a 4 and add 2 More Very Lows to balance it. Or you can change some Very Highs to High which will bring -1 to the number for each one you do. If you need any help with this feel free to ask.

Grand Moff Decimus You are still 2 points over. Due to the fact that the resistances of Tal'Beskar are:

Resistances:

  • Energy (And other Blaster type weapons): Very High
  • Kinetic: Very High
  • Lightsabers: Very High
  • Force: High
  • EMP/Ion: None
  • Sonic: Low

I would suggest basing after that. Which would
A. Make more sense why your Droid would have those resistances
B. balance it. With the value that Tal'Beskar have you are still 1 point overpowered, so I suggest having Sonic being a Very Low Resistance.

Grand Moff Decimus Yes I understand that, sorry for the confusion. You are still 2 points over, so I suggest adding another weakness to the droids and making it very low. What I was trying to suggest is that because you are using Tal'Beskar, you could use the resistances from that, as it is an approved meterial that is balanced, and also has the resistances you are looking for in your droids.
