- Rebranded Offense: The best offense, is a great defense, and furthermore with twenty-four squadrons to her credit, Her Worship’s Station is able to withstand quite a bit of damage and dish out the damage that she’s given, in return.
- No Escape: Unfortunately, Her Worship’s Station suffers from both low maneuverability and speed. Coupled with the absence of a hyperdrive, means that Her Worship’s fate rests where she lay. It makes her not only vulnerable but a rather easy target for those looking to settle a score.
Officially it is the Herevan-class, First Imperial Military Station Natasi Josephine Fortan, unofficially it is Her Worship’s Station Natasi Fortan, or simply known as Fortan Station. A monumental effort from the First Order as it begins to re-establish itself. Once more, Ariel Yvarro tapped the companies of Primo Victorian Shipwright and Aurora Industries to construct the station. Unable to secure her mother’s plans for the then planned Galidraan Mk III Defense Station. Ariel pulled from the archives, on the Galidraan Mk I and Mk II Command Stations.
They had been in their time hybrid military and civilian stations. The designs would be reworked and implemented in what was to be the ‘mother’ of stations. While Fortan Station draws from the most recent era of First Order history. It pushes forward in technology, outfitted with an array of defensive technologies and new artillery armaments. In addition to her armament and defenses, Fortan Station boasts twenty-four TIE Squadrons along with ten support squadrons of various types.
Her Worship’s primary mission, the defense of Dosuun. Second to this what seems to be a rather mundane mission, the acquisition and research of historical artifacts. During the height of the First Order, there had been a ‘Historical Recovery Division.’ When the First Order fell, the division went into some manner of disarray before being rebranded into the Society of Archaeological Research. The Society was founded by Dr. Audrey St. George one of the foremost archaeologists and librarians from the old Historical Recovery Division.
SOAR’s mission is to not only research the history of the Unknown Regions but to honor the past. A mission that they’re quite sure that Her Worship would have been most proud to have sponsored. SOAR does more than simple research, they work to understand the past and apply the lessons to today’s time and era.
For now, the Herevan-class Space Station serves a prototype for future investments into stations that may hold a purpose closer to the original Galidraan-class stations. Discussions among the Corps of Engineers, the Military, and the Government are in the works for bringing back other Fortan Era types of space stations in some form. Until such time the Moff Council is happy to see Fortan Station up and running.
