Kranak Vizsla's granddaughter grunted with a sneer; activating her bubble shield as the whistling birds were returned to their sender. It was one of the oldest Force tricks in the book. The explosions lit up around the shield as Mevia continued to charge towards the Sith.
Then, the lightning came. The pain screeched through Mevia's body as her H.U.D.'s alarms blared. With a beskar'gam that matched the toughness of its owner, Mevia slowed but kept on pushing. Gritting her teeth, she marched through the lightning until she was standing right next to Malum. Her body shook, and her hand involuntarily let go of her sword as her nerves twitched from the lightning. But, she still stood.
As the lightning finally stopped, Mevia panted heavily. The Chiss was way too confused. So confused, in fact, that her anger took a back seat for a moment. How did this random Sith know her sister? Why did he speak of her with such affection? And how did he know about...?
"How... do you... know... that..."
Traitor!
Abandoner!
Vode killer!
Spineless wretch!
Special snowflake!
Rival!
Sparring partner!
Talented queen!
Tutor!
Teacher!
Guide!
Sister!
Mevia panted, so many emotions running through her mind. She had been doing her best not to think of that traitor... she had been doing everything she could not to think about her sister...
Why was a
Sith speaking as if she was family to him? Did he want revenge on
her? What on earth was Elise doing
anywhere near a
Sith?
She clenched her fist.
"First she leaves me... Then she betrays me..."
Elise's smile flashed before her eyes. The precious memory scorned her. And the logical conclusion of her thoughts, it was incomprehensible to her as well.
"Don't tell me she betrayed us like that!"
She lifted her fist, tears forming beneath her visor as her crushgaunt crackled with more electricity. Roaring, the Force forsaken Mandalorian aimed a hard, heavy punch towards the Sith before her.
"Don't tell me she joined the ones who defiled and destroyed our homes!?!"
A series of brutal unarmed attacks were launched, meant to push the Sith back. She would beat him within every inch of being being, until she got answers. Mandalorian Core, drilled into her since she was a toddler, was wrathfully unleashed upon this soft, robe wearing, scrawny toy Sith.
Don't tell me Elise left us to become that! It's not like her! She's too-
A glimpse of memory. Elise wiping Mevia's cuts away after a sparring session, and placing a wet towel on her wounds. Kind, gentle, and loving.
Her sister left her when she joined the Novanian Shamans. Whoever this boy was, he had no idea how much Elise had hurt her little sister.
