This sniper rifle was designed for stealthy enemy takedowns from afar and excels at such, though it is extremely difficult to use at close range, because it takes time to aim carefully.
The rifle has miniaturized air compressors that compress air down into an invisible projectile. The air compressors are covered with a condensed-mtter composite to reduce vibrations, making the rifle effectively silent.
A recognition system allows the weapon to recognize its owner so that only that person can use it. It can also be deactivated with a chosen password so an ally can use it. However, enemies could potentially use it when the system is deactivated as well.
Agrinium mesh helps protects the electronics inside from Ion/EMP damage but it cannot completely stop it all. A successful hit could disable the rifle.
The Reflec coating helps give it a low sensor profile as well as allowing it to blend in with shadows, while the low-vision targeting scope allows sight in poor illumination. It does not work in complete darkness, but it can potentially be paired with night vision goggles, which are NOT included.
